Dear HOPE,

I just wanted to send you an e-mail to let you know that our retriever mix, Savannah passed away from cancer on Friday, October 2nd. I am so very thankful that we had the chance to be a family with Savannah. We adopted her from HOPE and she was a wonderful dog. Both my children (now 7 and 5) loved her dearly, as did my husband and I. She played with us, snuggled, travelled with us on many family vacations, and was on an eternal quest to catch one of those elusive squirrels.

I just wanted to thank you so much for what you do to match animals and find them their forever homes. You made a difference in our life by blessing us with Savannah.
