All Adoptable Cats
Our cat adoption fee is $100
(Mr.) Noel #lap-kitty-bed-buddy
DOB 7/12/21
Are you looking for a uniquely marked tabby kitty who has small cheetah-like spots on his sides instead of the typical tabby stripes? Well I’m the man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Noel, your perfect feline companion! I'm a very friendly, affectionate, loving, easygoing, and active cream-colored “spotted” tabby fella.
My foster mom calls me her favorite "lap cat" and her "bed buddy" because I love to snuggle. She rescued me as a baby who needed to be bottle-fed, so I love being carried around. I live with cats and dogs, so I get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
Why am I a "special needs" kitty? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, a rare, relatively harmless disorder that causes my body to make too much urine. It’s easily controlled with daily eye drops. However, I will need an experienced owner who can give me my drops every day and monitor my drinking as well as...um...my “output” in case the dosage needs to be adjusted by the vet. Easy peasy!
No reason for you to pass me by since I’m such a lovable and loving spotted guy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give that all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 21-0814-A050
If you are interested in (Mr.) Noel and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. Achilles #karate-guy
DOB 6/24/23
Meet Achilles, a typical tuxedo boy who will drive you crazy with his antics and make you fall in love at the same time. While his personality doesn't show well initially, give this ninja cat time to adjust, and he will show you some slick moves. Achilles has been described as a bulldozer, a karate boy, a snuggler...you just need to take this guy home to decide for yourself. Achilles might just steal your heart

Alice #miss-congeniality
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings.
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat.
Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! My heart has so much love to give, all I need is YOU!

Annabelle #ribbons-n-feathers-girl
DOB 8/1/17
Hey there, everyone! I’m amazing Annabelle, a sweet, sociable, playful, and sophisticated lynx-point Siamese/Snowshoe mix gal with dazzling deep-blue eyes. But I’m not just eye candy! No sirree! I’m quite the cuddler. Although I don’t climb up into Foster Meowmy’s lap, I nestle right next to her thigh and make “biscuits” to show my contentment. If she’s standing or walking around, I like for her to hold me, and I sleep at the foot of her bed on my cozy fleece blanket. I play the perfect furry hostess when guests come to visit and hang out with them as if I were hooman.
I love to play hide-and-seek with Foster Meowmy as well as chase ribbons and feathers when she snakes them around the room. I go wild when I hear the crinkle of plastic wrappings (like those that seal vitamin bottles), pounce on them, and then proudly strut around the house displaying my “prey” as it hangs out of my mouth. I’m quite the soccer striker who nimbly bats feathered catnip toys throughout the house.
While Foster Meowmy’s at work, I pass the day by basking in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill to watch the birds and squirrels fly and scamper by. Even if I’m dozing and dreaming about catnip, I wake up with a start if I hear Foster Meowmy coming and run to greet her the second that she opens the door.
When dogs, kids, and the housekeeping crew come over, I’m more curious than anxious about them. I’ve been around another cat, but the adjustment period has been slow and difficult because we're both somewhat bossy. Because loud noises scare me, I run and hide from the vacuum and rumbling Texas thunderstorms.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I guess you know that there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s beyond the stage of kitten craziness. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories! Arrange to meet me today! I’d love to meet you, your family, and friends. I’ve never met a stranger!

Arthur #king-of-Camelot
DOB 4/24/24
Hey there, everyone, I’m “King” Arthur, a sweet, friendly, talkative, and affectionate spotted gray-tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who loves belly rubs and licking Churu squeezable treats off Foster Meowmy’s finger. I charm all the kids at adoption events because I “talk” to them. Boy howdy, do they giggle at that!
My favorite game is when Foster Meowmy waves the “Turkey Flyer” wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room. If I catch it, I strut around proudly with “da bird” in my mouth. Foster Meowmy crochets catnip mice just for me, and I can display what a champion soccer striker I am by the way I bat the mice as well as jingle-bell balls around the room.
I was a tiny kitten when my brother and I were hanging around the dumpsters behind the Pearland PetSmart. Thank heavens a HOPE volunteer scooped us up before we were run over by the delivery trucks. Living in my foster home is like Camelot to me, “King” Arthur. I get along great with a variety of both resident and foster kitties. We have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling.
Foster Meowmy has whispered in my ear that there IS “a more congenial spot for happily-ever-aftering than here in Camelot,” and that’ll be in my forever home. She promises that fewer kitties will compete for my hooman’s attention than here in my foster home. Gosh! I can’t imagine anything better than being the center of a family’s attention! If you’re looking for a sociable gent who loves adult and kids, I’m the dude for you! Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Aster #a-cat-for-all-seasons
DOB 2/20/23
Just like Aster flowers that continue to grow and bloom again year after year, Aster continues to grow from a little kitten found on the streets to a handsome tabby boy. And he shines brightly when in the right nurturing, happy environment. He loves sunbeams where he sits up tall and straight and relaxes when the sun goes down. Bring Aster home and bring home some love.

Astrid #quad-squad
DOB 9/9/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Astrid, a very sweet and friendly dilute tortoiseshell gal whose day is a constant cycle of eating treats, playing, and then snoozing. This all could be with my beloved foster meowmy or with my siblings, a.k.a. the #quad-squad. My sisters Ava and Brooke as well as my brother Taco were scooped up with me by Foster Meowmy and her neighbors as our feral momma was trying to move us to a safer place when we were just three weeks old. My whole family was brought inside, and once we were weaned, Momma was released back outside after her spay surgery.
I love my sisters and brother because we have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. In fact, now that we’re ready for our forever homes, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted in pairs. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet the #quad-squad today! We might be a little shy when first meeting you, but it won’t be long before we’re cuddled up asleep with you.

DOB 5/25/23

Pair her beauty with a hint of playfulness and calm demeanor and you have a great companion cat. Astro is, of course, spayed, litter-box trained, and up to date on her shots...ready to go home the same day. Hurry to meet this charming lady.

Aurora #all-in
DOB 9/16/23
Whatever Aurora does, she pours her whole heart into the effort. Whether it's cleaning herself, searching for lost toys, or chilling in a morning sunbeam, Aurora concentrates on each task at hand.
Given her age when rescued, Aurora needs a patient home where she can adjust at her own pace. She loves people and other cats and tolerates dogs, but a lot of chaos scares her. If you have a zen-type home, Aurora would welcome gracing you with her presence. Your reward will be lots of purrs and head butts.

DOB 9/9/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Ava, a very sweet and friendly mitted dilute calico gal whose day is a constant cycle of eating treats, playing, and then snoozing. This all could be with my beloved foster meowmy or with my siblings, a.k.a. the #quad-squad. My sisters Astrid and Brooke as well as my brother Taco were scooped up with me by Foster Meowmy and her neighbors as our feral momma was trying to move us to a safer place when we were just three weeks old. Bandit #NRGetic-tuxedo
DOB 11/1/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bandit, a quiet yet charming tuxedo fella with a heart-shaped beauty mark on my left cheek. I adore playing interactively with Foster Meowmy, and I’ll sit patiently and stare, occasionally meow, to remind her that it’s time for her to bounce the red laser dot up, down, and around the room. Boy howdy! That’s my favorite game! Although I’m usually shy around new people, I’m very treat-driven and have already learned to sit on command.
I was rescued by Foster Meowmy as a dumpster-diving stray near NRG Stadium along with my tuxedo brother Gordon. I’m happiest when I’m by Gordon’s side, whether we’re cuddling or grooming one another. By day, I enjoy lounging in hidden spots, but as the sun sets, I come to life as a playful night owl. I get the zoomies with Gordon as we chase each other around the house. When I'm tuckered out from playing, I love to perch on high places, especially the top of the cat tower, where I can be the king and observe my kingdom below. And that's the perfect spot for me to watch all the native wildlife fly and scamper by the window.
Now I’m ready to find a forever home. If you’re looking for a companion who has a playful spirit and an endearing sense of adventure, I’m ready to bring your family joy and love! Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, Gordon and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Banksy #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Banksy, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for a black semi-colon between my ears. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince!
My brothers, Zephyr and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park.
And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with both of my brothers or momma Clara so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Batman #superhero
DOB 5/8/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Batman #superhero, an affectionate, easy-going, fun-loving mitted tuxedo fella who loves to cuddle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. I’m an outgoing, friendly, and gentle fella who likes to kiss her face and snuggle in bed with her. I go crazy when she snakes the wand toy around the room for me to chase. When she’s not around, I entertain myself by playing soccer with my jingle balls, plastic spring toys, and catnip mice.
Foster Meowmy scooped up my brother Robin and me as kittens of a semi-feral momma who had birthed us in the neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Even though I’m smaller than Robin, I’m the brave and curious brother who explores every nook and cranny in my foster home. I get along great with the adult resident cats, and although I haven’t been around dogs or kids, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do great with both.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and it’s my humble opinion that there’s lots of families that I’d fit into like a glove. Although we’re available separately, Robin, who's mostly white with black spots, and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two color-coordinated kitties are more fun than one, and we’d always have a cuddle buddy and playmate when you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I can’t wait to kiss your face!

Blue #nurturing-spirit
DOB 9/21/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Blue, a sweet, easy-going, initially shy lynx-point Siamese mix gal who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy scratches me from my head to my tail. Boy howdy! Does that ever feel good! That said, I’m hesitant when she picks me up, so I try to wiggle out of her arms when she carries me. I don’t think a lot of cats enjoy being held, so I’m probably not alone.
Foster Meowmy describes me as having “a heart full of kindness.” You see, I was a beautiful stray with big “baby-blues” who accompanied another stray kitty to eat the food set out by Foster Meowmy. I became a regular at the feeding station for about a month before I brought my litter of three-week-old kittens to her door at feeding time. Thank heavens, it wasn’t long before Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to safety.
She assumed by my initial aloofness that I was a feral teenage momma, but actually it just took me awhile to warm up to Foster Meowmy. Once I felt safe and secure, my affectionate nature starting shining through. I’ve decided that indoor life with the amenities of brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and quiet, cozy napping spots is right up my alley. What fun I've discovered as Foster Meowmy and I play interactively with the wand toy!
I was the perfect gentle momma for my four kittens, and my nurturing spirit was always on display because I put my adorable babies first. I let them eat before I even thought about my own meal! Now that I’ve permanently retired from doting motherhood, I’m ready to embark on new adventures in life. My kind, gentle nature convinced Foster Meowmy that I’d make someone a great pet because I’m the epitome of patience and tenderness.
If you’re looking for a sweet, kind, gentle young beauty who will enjoy quiet moments with you as well as the soft sounds of your home, I’m the gal for you! Arrange to meet me today, and I promise that my baby-blue eyes will absolutely mesmerize you. If you take me home, just plan to be patient with my shyness as I slowly adapt to my new "digs" before I display how affectionate I am.

Botero #Fernando
DOB 7/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Botero, a gorgeous black Maine Coon mix fella with big, gold-globe eyes, a soft, shiny, silky coat, and a big bushy tail. I was named for the Columbian artist Fernando Botero because my tail looks like a paint brush. I’m just chubby and fluffy goodness, through and through. I want to become your best forever friend. Hint: the key to my heart is with Temptation and Churus treats.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Vincent #Van-Gogh, Georgia #O’Keeffe, Dali #Salvador, Claude #Monet, Diego #Rivera, and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Arrange to meet me today, and bring a pocket full of treats! Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of my siblings. While you’re at work or on vacation, we could be playmates as well as cuddle buddies.

Button #cute-as-a-button
DOB 9/1/20
Hey there, everyone! I earned my name Button because I'm "cute as a button." I'm a sweet, playful tuxedo gal with an adorable stripe down my nose. Foster Meowmy’s lap has become one of my favorite spots because it’s where she dispenses chin scratches, pets, and ear massages. When I’m totally relaxed, I fall asleep to dream about catnip and Churus. I’ve been known to give "sandpaper kisses" with my tongue to show Foster Meowmy how much I love her. Sometimes all I want to do is to hang out with her while she reads, builds a puzzle, or watches TV.
I'm perfectly content to spend the day napping and will greet Foster Meowmy when she comes home from work by winding around her legs to plant my pheromones. I really enjoy mealtime, catnip, and playing with wand toys. I can get so lost in the moment chasing my favorite "Go Cat" mouse toy that I start panting to catch my breath!
I was found as a "spicy" kitten in a neighbor's yard, and because I was scared of people, I stayed outside after I was spayed. I grew up among the neighborhood stray cats, and with time I grew to trust my feeders/caretakers. So when I was injured during a cat fight, I decided to come inside and allow Foster Meowmy to treat me in my recovery.
I realized that the pampered indoor life has big advantages, so I'm relieved to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye. For this next phase of life, I'm hoping to find a forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today!

Catalina #sister-of-Purscilla
DOB 4/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Catalina, a very sweet, affectionate, and friendly white little girl with golden eyes. I absolutely love hoomans, and I’m not shy about requesting for them to pet me as well as give me treats. In fact, I’m very vocal and will let Foster Meowmy know when she hasn’t scratched just the right spot on my anatomy.
I may be smaller than my sister, but I’m definitely the braver of the pair! I was the first one to wobble out of our “nest” as well as to venture out of our nursery to explore my world. My favorite activities are playing hide-and-seek, bird-watching, and exploring like Marco Polo did.
My feral momma Clawdia chose to birth my sister Purscilla and me in the safety of the patio of an apartment unit that had been vacant for a long time. Was it a mere coincidence that our future Foster Meowmy moved in one or two days later? She’s quite a cat advocate, so thankfully she scooped up newborn Purscilla and me as well as trapped Momma in order to bring us all inside to safety.
When Meowmy took us to the vet to get vaccinated and spayed, all three of us tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Meowmy assumes that Momma probably contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat and then passed it on to us before we were ever born. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a beautiful yet adventurous pure white kitty, I’m the gal for you! I hope that my being a “special-needs” kitty will not scare you off; in fact, perhaps you’re one of those benevolent souls who actually seeks out a "special" kitty whom others might pass over. All the more reason for me to love you!
Although we’re available separately, Purscilla and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two’s more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me [us] today!

Chandler #mr-bright-eyes
DOB 4/14/24
Meet Chandler, a supremely confident kitten who's brimming with intelligence. This guy is a quick learner and was the first of his litter to master new challenges. Chandler is outgoing, friendly and lives to be taught new things.
He is, of course, litter-box and scratching-post trained. He can play fetch if given some incentive. Meet Chandler and see what he can do.

Charlie #after-five-jetset
DOB 6/20/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Charlie, a loving, affectionate, and cuddly “bicolor” fella who’s mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. I’m one of the #after-five-jetset who got that name because the five in my litter are all beautifully and elegantly dressed in “after-five” attire. (Many of my siblings are “tuxedos.”)
I love to crawl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap to sweetly kiss her face before I curl up for a nap. That’s when I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I’m an outgoing Mr. Congeniality who’s always ready to make new friends as well as a curious adventurer who’s ready to explore new places. Playtime with my siblings is a must! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Sweet Mama was the young indoor-outdoor pet of an irresponsible owner who did not spay her, and of course, she birthed our litter. When this family was evicted, we were not taken with them but were left behind to fend for ourselves. We were about 2.5 weeks old when Hurricane Beryl blew through, and a concerned neighbor posted my family’s plight on the neighborhood message board. When our future foster pawrents saw the posting, they forged out in the midst of the pouring rain and brought all six of us inside to the safety of their home. They are heroes in my book because they gave us all a second chance!!
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and if you’re looking for a total cuddle-bug of a kitten who’s also very outgoing and playful, I’m the dude for you! I hope you’ll arrange to meet me because I guarantee that my playful antics and lively spirit will keep you smiling. Consider adopting me with one of the #after-five-jetset so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Charlie #shed-posse
DOB 8/3/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Charlie, an affectionate, calm, and gentle red tabby fella who is a master of cozy cuddles, quiet moments, and bringing a sense of peace wherever I go. If Foster Meowmy’s lap is not available, I find a patch of sunshine on a window ledge so I can watch kitty TV, a.k.a. follow the squirrels, lizards, and birds as they scamper and fly by.
First my daddy emerged from under a shed in Foster Meowmy’s back yard, so she started feeding him as a stray. Next my momma emerged from under the shed, so she started feeding her too. A few weeks later, Sophie, Max, Tito, and I emerged from under the shed looking for food. When some stray neighborhood dogs bit Daddy pretty badly, Foster Meowmy trapped my whole family. Whereas she took my parents to be fixed, she brought the #shed-posse inside since we ended up being sweet, friendly, and sociable.
Now I’m ready to find my forever family. If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate friend to share your calm moments, I’m your purr-fect match! ! Arrange to meet me today.

Cheez-it #the-schmoozer
DOB 10/29/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Cheez-it, an affectionate, friendly, loving mitted red tuxedo tabby fella who’s described by Foster Meowmy as “without any doubt, the most cuddling, schmoozing cat we’ve ever had.” Yes, I’m one of the few cats who actually likes to be picked up and hugged. You can carry me around like a baby, if you wish. I don’t mind! When I make up my mind to rub my pheromones on Foster Meowmy, it’s hard for me to stop because I love her so much.
You see, I’m very grateful that she and her 17-year-old daughter rescued me from under a car in the Central Market parking lot. I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “From the moment we got Cheez-it, he has been nothing but sweet and loving.” I’m crazy about my hooman sister too. I sleep with her every night, which soothes her from all the stresses teenagers deal with these days. I love to lie on or at least near my hoomans because my love language is “touch.”
If my foster family didn’t already have four cats, I know they’d let me stay. But I realize I need to find a forever home where I don’t have to share my hoomans’ attention with as many other pets. If you’re looking for an attentive companion who doesn’t shy away from lavishly giving and receiving affection, I’m the fella for you! Arrange to meet me today!

Clara #dainty-green-eyed-beauty
DOB 4/14/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Clara, a super-sweet, quiet, demure charcoal grey and white tuxedo gal who’s actually the retired momma of the #graffiti-boys litter. I'm a real beauty because I have a sleek, shiny coat that's soft as a bunny's fur, and my big green eyes are mesmerizing!
I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin as well as when she gently caresses my back. I was initially shy when I first arrived in my foster home, but once I got to know and trust Foster Meowmy (thanks to treats and yummy food!), I started relaxing.
Meowmy is very conscious that sudden movements make me nervous, so she makes sure that she moves around me very slowly. You see, I was rescued from an apartment complex as a stray momma cat with my three boys, so my radar always on the alert for danger to protect my babies from predators. Admittedly, it took a while for that mindset to be discarded and for me to wake up to the reality that I was suddenly living in a safe, secure environment of plenty.
Although my three boys, Dondi, Zephyr, and Banksy, were weaned long ago, I can’t resist being the “helicopter momma” who’s always in the background watching out for them. Even though I’m a dainty lass, I even join in their roughhousing from time to time. I become somewhat of a police officer when it comes to the other resident cats and my boys. The fact is – I’ll always love my sons!
Most of the time, I stay out of the way and am as quiet as a mouse. (Who wouldn't be when her sons are such flamboyant characters?) I’m happy to keep to myself and don’t demand a lot of attention from Foster Meowmy, although I luxuriate when she does pet me. Now it’s time for me and my family to find out forever homes. All I ask for is a quiet home with people who know the power of a gentle touch. And it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Banksy.

Claude #Monet
DOB 7/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Claude #Monet, a handsome blue and cream tabby fella who’s initially shy and reserved when I first meet you. However, since I’m addicted to treats, I soon warm right up to you, and it’s not long before we’re cuddling.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Vincent #Van-Gogh, Georgia #O’Keeffe, Botero #Fernando, Dali #Salvador, Diego #Rivera, and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Coal #mini-panther
DOB 5/2/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Coal, a sweet, friendly, affectionate mini-panther Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny black-patent-leather coat and huge copper-penny eyes. I turn on my purr motor the instant that Foster Meowmy picks me up. I rub her face while she kisses me, and then I’m off to do some exploring. However, I've recently developed a love for her brushing me, and I’m learning to appreciate lap time.
The reason I like to explore is because I’m curious about everything! I’d rather play with a dry leaf than a stuffed cat toy. I get the zoomies as I race up the stairs to the landing of my foster home. Boy howdy, that’s so much fun! In my quieter moments, I like to bask in a warm patch of sunlight on the window sill so I can watch the birds and squirrels fly and scamper by.
I was about six weeks old with no momma or siblings in sight when Foster Meowmy rescued me from the horse barn. It had been traumatic for me to be on my own at such a young age, so what a relief to be in her care! I was in pitiful shape with an abscess and intestinal parasites, so I was very grateful for her to be my Florence Nightingale.
Now I’m all fixed up and ready for my fur-ever home. True confessions: I can be slow to warm up to new people. Once I feel comfy (like I did with Foster Meowmy), I’m fine. I just need to find a patient adopter who gives me the time and love so that I can acclimate to my new “digs.” Could that be you?

Cosmo #over-the-fence-boy
DOB 8/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Cosmo, a very sweet, loving mitted red-and-white tabby fella with gold eyes who always enjoys a quiet lap cuddle with Foster Meowmy. That’s when I turn on my roaring purr motor to alert her that I’m ready to be loved, just in case there’s any doubt in her mind!
But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I burst with energy when Foster Meowmy waves the feather wand-toy over my head or darts the red laser light up, down, and around the room. I’m also quite the soccer striker as I bat my jingle-bell balls and plush toys around the room.
When I was about 7 or 8 weeks old, someone tossed me over the fence of a dog-boarding facility. Luckily an attendant witnessed this dastardly act and rescued me before the dogs noticed me. She turned to HOPE for help, and Foster Meowmy (bless her heart!) volunteered to foster me. I was delighted that Skeeter and Riley are other orphan kittens about my age at my foster home, and we spend many a waking hour pouncing and tumbling, climbing and wrestling until we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for an affectionate and energetic ginger boy, I’m the fella for you! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. By the way, consider adopting me with Skeeter or Riley so we’d have a built-in playmate and snuggle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation.

Dali #Salvador
DOB 7/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Dali, an inquisitive, loving, and gorgeous black Maine Coon mix fella with big, golden-globe eyes, a soft, shiny, silky coat, and a big bushy tail. I was named for the Spanish artist Salvador Dali because I’m a mysterious gent who will gladly join you for afternoon tea and intelligent discussions. I’m a gentle spirit with a curious nature who loves to explore my environment.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of my siblings. Darla #Beryl-baby
DOB 7/6/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Darla, a sweet, docile, demure, and initially shy Bombay mix gal who nevertheless easily comes out of my shell – especially at playtime. I’m very bonded to my momma Reeces and my twin sister Zoey. Sis, the young male resident kitty, and I pounce and tumble, climb and wrestle, and when Zoey and I are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Zoey and I are known as the #Beryl-babies because our momma Reeces birthed us during the midst of the hurricane. A nice lady had been feeding Reeces on the front porch of her apartment. Lo and behold, the next thing she knew -- there was a litter of kittens on her front porch. She cared for us all but left us outside. Month-old kittens can be curious, and we climbed up into the motor of a neighbor’s car. The neighbor didn’t realize this until she started driving and then heard meowing. Fortunately she stopped and discovered Zoey and me under the hood. She realized that we needed to be safe inside, so she contacted her cat lady friend who’s a HOPE volunteer. Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster my little family.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be you? Consider adopting me with my bonded-sister Zoey. Although we’re available separately, two’s more fun than one. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we had a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation.

Delta #snuggle-buddy
DOB 3/4/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Delta, a sweet, playful, very talkative, and initially shy red tabby fella who loves to snuggle with Foster Meowmy in her lap or as her bedfellow. I rub against her when I want to attract her attention or solicit her stroking me.
When my two brothers and I were three weeks old, we were brought by our friendly stray momma Mia to a lady’s apartment back patio. Thank heavens our future foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster our whole family!
I’ve grown into a gentle giant who tips the scales at 13 pounds, and I love to wrestle and play with the resident male kitty. Actually, this feline “big brother,” as well as the resident dog, think that I’m their baby, and I rather enjoy it when each of them grooms me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so arrange to meet me today! True confessions, I’m shy and timid amidst the noise and chaos of adoption events, so I never show my sweet, playful side. I hope you’ll give me a chance to display my lovable personality after I feel as comfy as I do in my foster home. Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do great with another male cat who’ll match my energy.

Diego #Rivera
DOB 7/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Diego #Rivera, a handsome brown tabby fella with an innocent, cherubic face who’s initially shy and reserved when I first meet you. However, since I’m addicted to treats, I soon warm right up to you, and it’s not long before I’m cuddling in your lap or snuggling next to your thigh. I also love to play interactively with my Foster Meowmy and the wand toy as well as explore all around the house.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Dionysus #Greek-god-gang
DOB 6/12/24
Hey there, everyone. I'm Dionysus, and I'm a sweet, affectionate black DSH/Bombay mix fella in the #Greek-god-gang. I was named after the god of wine and pleasure. I’m the softest little black cloud you’ll ever meet! Bombay kitties are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick so close to our favorite hoomans, and I'm no exception.
The second Foster Meowmy sits down, I crawl up in her lap to await her cooing over me as well as gently stroking me. I may even hug her hand to show how much I’m enjoying her attention; then again, I may give her an ever-so-gentle love bite. Even when I'm in the middle of playing with my siblings, if I see a chance for hooman attention, I come running to curl up in Foster Meowmy's lap. I’m very vocal when I want attention and will happily jump in her lap for petting and cuddling.
I also have a mischievous side to me. I love to play hide-and-pounce when Foster Meowmy least expects it. Also, to her exasperation, I love to splash my water bowl with my paws and maybe even drag it around.
My momma Hera had been a stray who had had multiple litters over several years. A Good Samaritan decided to "stop the cycle" and rescued Hera and her "fresh" litter, i.e. my three siblings, Hebe, Hermes, Apollo and me. I adjusted seamlessly to indoor life, even though my foster home has resident dogs. I tolerate them but prefer the calmer ones and jump up into the cat tree to get some distance from the hyper ones.
Now I'm ready to find my forever home. If you're looking for an absolute love bug and lap kitty, I'm the boy for you! Arrange to meet me today! I just may even hug your hand!

Dondi #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches.
My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Dumpling & Dim Sum #bonded-brothers
DOB 3/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Dumpling and Dim Sum, a bonded pair of brown-tabby brothers who are ultra-sweet, friendly, and affectionate. We love to cuddle with our hoomans almost as much as with each other. We’re a happy pair who’s always purring and making biscuits, whether we’re snuggled with each other or having our chins scratched in Foster Meowmy’s lap.
A Good Samaritan found us and dropped us off at PetSmart/Pearland, and thankfully our foster meowmy agreed to welcome us into her home until we can find a fantastic forever home. She’s insisting that we be adopted together because we’re inseparable best friends who love each other very much.
We fit into our foster home beautifully. We enjoy playing with each other as well as when Foster Meowmy interacts with us using a wand toy with enticing hanging balls. We’re also curious and love to explore, so watch those open cabinet and closet doors! We may sneak inside for a peek.
I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “It’s been amazing watching Dumpling and Dim Sum grow up into such fine young gentlemen. They’d be a wonderful addition to any family. We hate to see them go, but they deserve a forever home to share their abundant love with their forever owners.” Hope you’re convinced that you should arrange to meet us right away! We plan to be at the PetSmart/Pearland Saturday adoption day every week.

Emme #doll-on-the-doormat
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Emme, a friendly, affectionate, stunningly beautiful “bicolor” gal, which means than I’m mostly white with red tabby on my head, back, and tail. I have unique facial markings, big green eyes, and fur as soft as a bunny’s. I’m quite a lovely package, not to mention that it’s rare for female kitties to be red tabbies.
I like to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy’s thigh rather than on her lap, and I enjoy it when she picks me up for a quick cuddle. I luxuriate when she pets me – whether it’s scratching my cheeks, chin, and ears or rubbing my back and belly. I like to hang out in the same room as Foster Meowmy just to be near her as well as to monitor her activities Although I don’t interfere, if you need a supurr-viser, I'm the gal for you!
My birth momma scoped out the neighborhood and decided that the doormat of Foster Meowmy’s back patio was the perfect spot to bring her litter when we were almost newborns. I’m so grateful that Momma wanted a better life for us than the hardscrabble outdoor life and that Foster Meowmy invited us in. All I can remember is being indoors with Foster Meowmy and her other foster cats, although I haven’t been around dogs or kids. I’m a teenager at heart, so I can entertain myself by playing soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice, but I also enjoy roughhousing with the other kitties.
I’m looking for my forever home, so I hope that my sweet innocent expression and big globe eyes have captured your heart. Arrange to meet me today! True confessions: I tend to be shy at the adoption days because they can be busy and chaotic. However, that’s not my true personality when I get back home.

Felix #bonded-to-Squeakers
DOB 4/1/15
Hey there, everyone! I’m Felix, and I’m a very friendly, affectionate, and mellow “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, “saddleback,” and tail. I’m really quite handsomely marked with a big circular patch of black on my left side. I’m crazy about Foster Meowmy because she coos over me, brushes me, and strokes me gently. I love to snuggle with her every night. I enjoy children because they will play with me. I’m quite the soccer striker in that I like to bat around crinkle balls and catnip mice.
I was living very happily with my “bestie” Squeakers in a home where we were really cherished, but unfortunately our hooman had some financial setbacks in this inflationary economy. When she learned that she was going to be evicted, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and offered to foster her darlings [us] until HOPE could find us a wonderful new home. Foster Meowmy is insisting that we be adopted together as a bonded pair in an effort to mitigate the upheaval we’ve already experienced.
Although I haven’t been around dogs, I’m an easy-going dude who gets along great with other cats and kids, and with proper introductions, I might do great with pooches too. If you’ve got a medium to quiet home, Squeakers and I are the pair for you. Arrange to meet us today!

George #brother-of-Harry
DOB 3/6/23
Looking for a great furry companion who's really quite funny and silly? Then I'm you're man! I'm George, a sweet and adorable spotted red tabby fella who always has a surprised look on my face. Yes, like George Weasely of Harry Potter fame, I'm a George with flaming red hair.
My favorite activity is playtime, and I love interactive play with my foster meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head. My curiosity gets the best of me, and I'll follow Foster Meowmy all over the house because I can't resist chasing string and feathers! I’m also a very inquisitive little guy, and I find folding laundry and other daily tasks fascinating to watch!
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play tag with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap. I'm not a leader, so I usually follow around my brother Harry.
I'm looking for a home where hoomans will play with me and love me a lot! I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with Harry so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Georgia #O'Keeffe
DOB 7/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Georgia #O'Keeffe, a sweet and sassy tortoiseshell gal who loves playing hide-and-seek with Foster Meowmy, exploring, and running through cat tunnels. After a day of fun activities, I transform into a calm, poised little lady who curls up in Foster Meowmy’s lap. That’s when I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Vincent #Van-Gogh, Botero #Fernando, Dali #Salvador, Claude #Monet, Diego #Rivera, and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could you be my new hide-and-seek partner? Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of my siblings. While you’re at work or on vacation, we could be playmates as well as cuddle buddies.

Glinda #good-witch
DOB 7/30/24
Hey everyone! I’m Glinda #good-witch (as in the Wizard of Oz), and I’m an outgoing, energetic, and curious tortoiseshell gal who got my name because I’m living proof that (as Glinda told Dorothy) “you always had the power -- you just had to learn it for yourself.” You see, I was found on the road as a tiny orphaned, unweaned kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued me and turned me into PetSmart, and my sweet Foster Meowmy volunteered to syringe-feed me countless times, day and night. Thank heavens that I’m strong and persistent, and I learned to master syringe-feeding and later slurping up my meal from a shallow bowl. Yes, I know all about getting in touch with my internal power!
I’ve blossomed into a great all-around kitten who loves for Foster Meowmy to pet and cuddle with me. And I gladly accept Churu treats any time she wants to dispense them! I have loads of kitten energy, which I expend by running around and exploring before I check back with Foster Meowmy. I heard someone ask Foster Meowmy what are my favorite toys, and she replied, “The world.” Yes, just about anything makes me happy. I love to play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice, but it’s just as much fun to bat around paper clips and bottle caps.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? I get along great with the other kitties in my foster home, but I’ve never met kids or dogs. Nevertheless, I’m young enough that I’d probably adjust pretty easily to new friends, be they little humans or cat-friendly pooches. If you’re looking for an adorable, fun-loving kitty whose motto is “the world’s my oyster,” I’m the girl for you! Arrange to meet me today!

Godzilla #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Howdy everyone! I’m Godzilla, a goofy, sassy, curious, and energetic brown tabby fella who’s proud of my monster-name. I may be a big boy like Godzilla, but I’m a sweet marshmallow at heart. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
During Tropical Storm Imelda, my sister Mothra and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. My foster mom heard my crying on a driveway, and she says that I’ve continued to let everyone know my opinions ever since. I was the runt of my litter and was bottle-fed by my foster pawrents. Boy did I love my bottle!
Those “nursing” sessions ended up being a great time to bond with my humans and probably explain why I’m so sociable with people. The bottle has now been replaced with cat treats, which have probably contributed to my “plus-size.”
If you’re looking for a friendly feline companion who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Gordon #NRGetic-tuxedo
DOB 11/1/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Gordon, a goofy yet charming blue tuxedo fella who shows my affection for Foster Meowmy by cuddling at every chance, meowing in short spurts, and following her around to see what she’s up to. I’m a wand-toy enthusiast who lets her know when I’m ready for our playtime by bringing a toy to her feet or ready for petting by gentle paw-stretches to guide her hand.
I was rescued by Foster Meowmy as a dumpster-diving stray near NRG Stadium along with my tuxedo brother Bandit. My bold curiosity and friendly demeanor made me an instant favorite in my foster home. Even though I was christened Gordon, a serious name, it hilariously contrasts with my energetic personality. Although I’m a sweet, protective buddy to shy Bandit, I ensure that our nightly zoomies are nothing short of entertaining for my foster family. But I know how to relax too in that I find a patch of sunshine on the windowsill and sunbathe like a king.
Now I’m ready to embark on the adventure of finding a forever home. If you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts silly and loving, I’m your guy! Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, Gordon and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Han #bestie-of-Mason
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Han, a sweet, friendly, outgoing, and playful grey tabby fella who loves everyone – hoomans of all ages, dogs (at least the small ones whom I’ve met), and other kitties. I have the temperament of a natural leader, and small as I am, I like to stay in charge of the situation. That’s why –when I decide that I want to – I get up on the sofa with Foster Meowmy so we can binge on Netflix and Animal Planet together.
Foster Meowmy rescued me from hanging around a dumpster in New Caney. An orphan with no momma or siblings in sight, I was only one month old and living the hardscrabble life at a much-too-young age. Once I arrived to my foster home, I was welcomed by the other cats and little dogs, who have served as my surrogate aunts and uncles and taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. It wasn’t long before a new foster kitten arrived. Mason is a month younger than I am and has become my “bestie” playmate and surrogate sister. So now I have a whole surrogate family as well as a loving Foster Meowmy!
Although I like it here, I know I need a home of my very own where I’ll have fewer kitties to compete with my hooman’s attention. So now I’m all ready to “graduate” to my forever home. If you like spunky kittens who have leadership qualities, a.k.a. a mind of their own and a take-charge attitude, I’m the dude for you! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Mason because I’ll need a playmate. We can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Harry #brother-of-George
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Harry, and just like Prince Harry, I have the "ginger gene," which is responsible for my flaming red hair. I'm a winsome, entertaining tabby fella who’s easy to pick up and cuddle. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy as well as greet her with a "kitty handshake," i.e. touch my nose to her hand. I also cleverly learned to give high-fives with my paw. I’m quite a chatty chap because I chirp and meow to my family when I'm feeling comfy and happy.
I can’t resist playtime whether it’s with kids, other kitties, or myself. I'm full of energy, and interactive play with my foster family is my favorite calorie-burner. I’ll chase strings all day long if someone will play with me! I love all sorts of toys, especially little stuffed animals and balls that I can bat around and chase. After I‘ve played soccer with them, I’ll carry the soft, fuzzy ones around in my mouth. When I’ve had a surfeit in the exercise department, I'll jump on and climb the cat tree to catch my breath or perhaps a quick cat nap.
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me so you can find out that I’m more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Since I'm the leader of my pack, my siblings follow me around. Consider adopting me with my brother George so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Harry #FIV-Pos
DOB 2/21/17
Looking for a kitty in need? One who has gone through really rough times and has successfully come out on the other side? Harry is your guy. And you can't find a sweeter, more mild-tempered kitty than Harry is. This loaf of a kitty is undemanding and just wants to chill at your place.
Harry is a playful, affectionate, talkative kind of guy, whether he's batting around his favorite toys, cuddling on the couch, or exploring the house, Harry always brings a smile to everyone's face. Altered FIV-positive cats can live with non-FIV cats.

Hera #Greek-god-queen
DOB 8/14/18
Hey there, everyone. I’m Hera, who was named after the Queen of the Greek gods. I’m a sweet, playful, and beautiful tortie who gently (clawlessly) paws at Foster Meowmy when I want to lure her over for some individual attention. I adore any kind of attention that Foster Meowmy lavishes on me, and I’ll happily present my belly for rubs as well as my face and butt for scritches. I may even give Foster Meowmy’s hand a soft, good-natured love-bite, but I don’t have a mean bone in my body.
I was a stray who'd had multiple litters over several years. I was worn out because I barely had time to recuperate before I became pregnant again. A Good Samaritan decided to “stop the cycle” and rescued me and my “fresh” litter, the #Greek-god-gang of four kittens. It took me awhile to adjust to indoor life, and I was a bit shy and skittish at first. I slowly opened up to Foster Meowmy once I realized that she was a trustworthy person. I even like to snuggle with her for brief periods of time.
Incredibly, I’m fine with the resident dogs as long as they’re not too hyper around me. (I’m not aggressive and won’t attack, but I might hide or seek higher ground in my kitty tree.) As I’ve been coming out of my shell, I’ve decided that playing with my night-owl hoomans fits in perfectly with my nocturnal circadian rhythms.
Now that I’m permanently retired from being a doting momma, I’m ready to find my forever home where loving affection and attention can be lavished upon ME and not always on my kittens. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! Perhaps you’re also a night owl who’ll be my perfect partner in the nocturnal Olympics.

Howell #soulful-green-eyes
DOB 12/25/18
Hey there, everyone! I’m Howell, an affectionate, curious, and playful 12-pound gentle giant of a brown tabby with big, soulful, green-globe eyes that allow me to stare into the depth of your soul. I take the cake as far as being an extremely loving and friendly feline companion. I’m one of the rare cats who’s a big fan of being held.
I’m perfectly content to binge on Animal Planet and Netflix with my Foster Dad. I’ll snuggle up next to him and turn on my purr motor as soft white noise while he gently scratches my ears and chin. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I’m like a nimble football player who, although he’s big and burly, still enjoys capering about with my toys.
I have an interesting backstory. A Good Samaritan assumed that I was feral when she trapped me as a new stray in her colony of community cats. However, during my neuter-surgery recovery, she discovered that I was friendly and therefore probably had been someone’s pet who had wandered away from home in search of love in all the wrong places. I was still intact, so I thought I was quite a Lothario. She later discovered that I had a hole in my soft palate. She reached out to some friends, and with the help of a Houston Pet Set grant, she was able to get me the surgery I needed to fix my palate. Now I’m all fixed up and feel just dandy!
That means that I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? I’m absolutely wonderful as cats go, if I do say so myself. So I’m an excellent candidate if you’re looking to adopt an affectionate cat who’s like a big, huggable teddy bear. Arrange to meet me today! By the way, because I’m a bit of an alpha cat, I’d probably do best in a home either as a solo or with submissive other cats.

Indy #copper-penny-eyes
DOB 9/1/21
Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful.
My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station!

Jason Todd #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you longing for a furry friend who's as full of energy as affection? Meet me, charismatic and spirited Jason Todd, who's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your life. I’m a kitten who's always ready to embark on new and thrilling experiences. Beyond my adventurous demeanor, I have a softer side that adores cuddles and quality time with Foster Meowmy. What's a love of exploration if I have no one to share it with? I’m always there for her in an instant, ready to provide comfort after a long day.
Named after the third Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my outgoing personality and heart of gold. My energy knows no bounds! I’m a whirlwind of fun and games that’s always ready to chase after toys, pounce on imaginary prey, and keep Foster Meowmy entertained with my boundless enthusiasm.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with expressive gold eyes and sprinkles of salt mixed in my black fur. I’m an instant head-turner, if I do say so myself. My gorgeous appearance is matched only by my captivating personality, which adds up to my being a kitten few will be able to resist.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be Johnny-on-the-spot to comfort my hooman after a long day. Perhaps my next adventure is with you!

Juniper #sister-of-Spotty
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Juniper, a cute, crafty, and clever brown tabby “ninja” gal who got my name because I’m a little “Junior” who looks like my dad. I’m initially shy with people, but once I warm up, I love to cuddle and to rub my pheromones on everyone!
Foster Meowmy found Momma and my #spring-shower-litter in her yard one stormy spring day. My brother Ollie as well as my sisters, Minnie, Spotty, and Angel, and I were just a few weeks old, so thank heavens Meowmy brought us safely inside to join the friendly resident cats. My foster home is calm and quiet without kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the other kitties, but I'm apprehensive about the elderly Maltipoo.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home that I was promised, and if you’re looking for a shy but sweet “June bug,” I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! Let's write new chapters in our lives together. Please consider adopting me with Juniper so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Kewpie #breath-of-fresh-air
DOB 1/21/21
Hey there, everyone! I’m Kewpie, and I got my name because, like the proverbial Kewpie doll, I have large eyes and shoot my Cupid-arrows into everyone's heart. With my beautiful snowy coat and aloof expression, I may look like I’m “too cool for school,” but don’t let that fool you! I’m actually an incredibly loving and affectionate kitty. Beneath my calm exterior lies a gentle soul who’s all about spreading love and warm vibes. My favorite relaxing spot is curled up in Foster Meowmy’s lap, where I make “biscuits” and happily purr as she rubs my belly. When I’ve had enough attention, I’ll politely let her know with a soft little nudge or a gentle stretch.
I’m the definition of gentle—no matter what life throws my way. Whether kids pet me harder than necessary or another cat or dog sneaks a bite of my food, I don’t sweat it. I patiently move on without a fuss. I’m incredibly easygoing and always remain steady as well as graceful—even in the chaos.
Being around me is like a breath of fresh air. My calm, gentle presence has a way of soothing your soul and making everything feel a little more peaceful. I’m the perfect companion for someone who seeks a quiet, affectionate friend with whom to share their life. If you’re having a rough day, I’ll be right there to comfort you with my soothing purrs, gentle cuddles, and even my silly faces.
My previous owner fell ill and had to move to an assisted-living facility. Sadly, her family didn’t want to take responsibility for me and dumped me outside to fend for myself. Can you imagine someone’s abandoning a sweet beauty like me? Fortunately a HOPE volunteer rescued me as an outdoor, intact female stray and made sure that I was spayed and fully vetted. She turned me over to my foster meowmy to get the kind of love and attention I deserve until I can find a new forever family.
I’m so relieved to be safely indoors again! I’m incredibly grateful for every cozy spot and every loving touch. I don’t require constant attention, and I’m perfectly content to relax in cubbyholes around the house. But my favorite spot is next to Foster Meowmy.
Now I’m ready to nestle into the hearts of my forever family. I’d fit like a glove into a variety of household dynamics, which could include young kids, other cats, or dogs. If you’re looking for a loving but low-key companion who’ll fill your life with affection, peace, and gratitude, I might just be the perfect match for you. Our coupling works both ways: you can give me the VIP pampered life that I’ve always dreamed of, and I’ll return your love and loyalty tenfold. Arrange to meet me today!

DOB 6/15/23
Hey there, everyone! I'm Kira, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate brown tabby gal who’s full of life and whose silly antics make Foster Meowmy laugh. I greet her with a purr or a playful swat and enjoy cuddling with her when the mood strikes. I’m her mellow, loyal companion who’s content to simply be at her side.
I’m a bold, curious, brave girl who’s not afraid of new experiences, investigating new sounds and smells, or exploring every nook and cranny. I learn things quickly and solve treat puzzles in no time. I’m gentle too in that I never misuse my claws when I’m playing. Foster Meowmy rescued me as a teenager in her neighborhood. I fit in beautifully with the #spunky-four litter when they arrived in my foster home.
So why should you adopt me? Because I'm a bundle of joy, ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and companionship. I promise that with me by your side, life will never be dull. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one the #spunky-four litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Kisa #spunky-four
DOB 2/14/24
Hey there, everyone! I'm Kisa, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate green-eyed “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my face, back, and tail. I’ve got a big, outgoing personality, so I’m always eager to make new friends. I greet Foster Meowmy with a purr and enjoy cuddling with her when it’s time to relax. I’m her loyal companion, always by her side because I like to be her shadow. I learn things quickly, and I get lost in the moment entertaining myself with treat puzzles and my toys. I’m gentle too for a kitten in that I never misuse my claws when I’m playing.
Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Snow, and Luna) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
When you adopt me, you’ll bring home a loving, intelligent companion. You'll never be bored with me around! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation

Kittie #bunny-kicker
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Kittie, a sweet, playful “torbie” gal, which means that I’m mostly brown tabby with patches of orange that look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I’m a friendly, affectionate lap kitty who enjoys it when Foster Meowmy softly scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks or gives me a gentle belly rub. That’s when I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot.
But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy as she waves the feathered wand toy over my head or snakes string around the room. I have to admit that my favorite activity is bunny-kicking a catnip toy that unleashes my inner hunting instincts. I’m also adventurous and exult when I scale to the top of the cat tree. I love to explore around the house and, in my quieter moments, watch the wildlife fly and scamper by outside my window.
Future Foster Meowmy had been feeding a male kitty for a couple of months when he brought my momma Tori and me to the colony feeding station. I was about three months old, so Foster Meowmy, thinking that this male kitty was my daddy, got us both spayed right away. After we recuperated from surgery, she released Tori and me outside. However, when another cat started attacking me, Foster Meowmy brought us both inside to safety.
Boy howdy! Was I ever relieved to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! I’ve really thrived being inside with all the TLC Foster Meowmy has showered on me. Foster Meowmy tried to network among her family and friends to find us our forever homes, but to no avail. So now she’s hoping that HOPE will give us the public exposure we need to be adopted into loving families.
If you're looking for a purr machine who transforms into a bunny-kicking monster, I'm the gal for you! Although we’re available separately, momma Tori and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two’s more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU

Liam #merry-lil-ruffian
DOB 9/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Liam, a really sweet, fun-loving, handsomely-marked silver Classic tabby fella who turns on my purr motor the second that I’m touched. And it’s loud too! I have black tabby stripes that form marbled swirls on my sides. And you should see the adorable leopard spots on my tummy! But my effervescent purrsonality outshines even my good looks! I’m such a happy boy that I keep Foster Meowmy entertained all day long with my shenanigans.
I was only three weeks old when a Good Samaritan found me in her back yard. I was plaintively meowing for my momma because she and my siblings were nowhere in sight. Fortunately I was scooped up and taken into a foster home where my best friends became an adult cat and a big dog. I’m so resilient and independent that I latched onto my foster family, hooman and otherwise, without skipping a beat.
Talk about fun – I constantly wrestle with the Freddy the dog and Tommy the cat. After I’ve tuckered them out, I entertain myself with the tiered tower of balls as well as playing soccer with my jingle balls and catnip mice. When I’m finally exhausted, I may climb aboard the cat or dog for a cat nap, although sometimes I like to get a longer snooze at the top of the cat tree.
I’m ready now to bring as much happiness to my forever family as I’ve brought to Foster Meowmy. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a fun kid to have around who happens to be a real show-stopper in the looks department, I’m the fella for you! Arrange to meet me today! Touch me, and I’ll turn on my roaring purr motor so you can guess for yourself its decibels!

Liam #wooly-wonder
DOB 11/1/18
Hey there, everyone! I’m Liam, a very friendly, ultra-easygoing Chartreux/British Shorthair mix fella who loves to spend time with my hoomans – either sleeping snuggled next to them or relaxing with them as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet. I love to be petted, especially when my hoomans scratch my ears, chin, and cheeks. I’m so laid-back that I’ve had to learn to get out of people’s path as they walk by.
Who knows what my DNA ancestry would reveal, but I have the gold eyes shared by both the Chartreux and BSH. However I have the more tapered muzzle of the Chartreux, compared to the BSH’s abbreviated one. In fact, because my round head tapers at the bottom, it looks like I’m always smiling!
Foster Meowmy says that my meow sounds like a balloon running out of air, and the Chartreux's surprisingly tiny voice is well recognized. My plush fur is medium-short and slightly wooly in texture. It is oh-so-soft and lush to the touch. Although at first glance I appear to be solid gray, I have pale shadows of tabby-stripes that show through in my coat.
Foster Meowmy is the neighborhood “cat lady,” and she finds all the strays if they don’t find her doorstep first. When she found me, I had a rather nasty wound where I’d been bitten above my eye. Thank heavens she decided to bring me inside and take me to the vet for medications so that my wound would heal properly. While I was there, she made sure that I was fixed to stop my lothario wanderings as an intact male. It wasn't until she brought me home for recovery from my surgery that she realized that I was probably someone’s very loving but abandoned pet whom they’d never bothered to neuter.
I’m very demure and polite, so I get along with all the resident cats. When the curmudgeons get grumpy, I just steer clear of them because I avoid conflict. I’m even learning to play interactively with Foster Meowmy as well as to entertain myself with the tower of balls and catnip mice, which are luxuries that I never had the opportunity to enjoy while I was living the hardscrabble life of a street stray.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? If you’re looking for a handsome, debonair gent who’s well past kitten mayhem and who won’t cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured heirlooms, I’m the man for you! Arrange to meet me today so you can enjoy running your fingers through my plush coat. Let’s truly be fur-ever friends!

Lipstick #sister-of-Pawdrey Hepburn
DOB 3/5/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lipstick, a beautiful, sweet, and cherub-faced brown tabby gal who was born with my left back leg’s not developing past my elbow. No worries! I don’t let being a tripod stop me one bit! I scamper around like any normal kitten.
I’m a little on the timid side, so you might think I was aloof when you first meet me; however, once I get to know you, I’m an absolute cuddle bug. I adapt to new hoomans and situations smoothly but definitely at my own pace.
I inherited my sweet demeanor from my feline momma Bonita, who was found in Alief as a pregnant teenager. Fortunately she was rescued in time to deliver my litter of three in the safety of foster care. I’ve been handled by Foster Meowmy since I was one day old, which explains why I’m so trusting of hoomans. My favorite thing to do is play the coquette by looking dainty and adorable as I lounge in the comfiest chair in the room and observe everything happening around me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. It would be great if my new home has kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as the four-legged critters and I are slowly introduced. What’d be the cat’s meow is if I could be adopted with my sister Pawdrey Hepburn so I could explore my surroundings with plenty of confidence. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to cover your heart with my tiny paw prints!

Little Bobbie #bestie-of-Tango
DOB 4/7/22
Hello everyone! I’m Little Bobbie, and I’m an adorable, petite dilute gray tabby with white mittens and locket. Don’t you love my sweet, angelic face? I was a two-week-old orphan, covered in leaves and sticks, when I was rescued from a field. Neighbors had witnessed dogs chasing away my momma; alas, she never re-appeared. Several cat lovers took me inside and bottle-fed me along with several other bottle-babies who were my same age.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle. The three resident cats have acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who have taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.
Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Tango and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Little George #wooly-chevalier
DOB 12/23/18
Hey there, everyone! I’m Little George, a dashing 12-pound Chartreux mix gent with a cheerful demeanor that greets everyone I meet with a soft, rumbling purr and an enthusiastic nuzzle. My plush fur is medium-short and slightly wooly in texture like a purebred Chartreux, although a DNA test would probably prove otherwise. The first time that you pet me will be nothing short of magical because my velvety fur will feel like fluffy silk beneath your fingers. Characteristic to this rare breed, I’m a little “meow-whisperer” – when I’m hungry and try to meow, it sounds like a baby. Yes, the fella with the big round head, golden-globe eyes, and burly body has a surprisingly tiny voice!
For about three years, I was the mysterious, silver-coated guardian of my future foster pawrents’ street. I’d cautiously watch them from a distance with wary but curious eyes. They never missed an opportunity to leave me a plate of food, which I eagerly gobbled down. Slowly, day by day, I began to trust them. My brave heart led me closer and closer -- until one chilly evening, I stepped into the warmth of the emergency feral-cat house they’d set up for me. Ah —this was my very first taste of what it means to have a home.
It wasn’t long before they trapped, neutered, and released me. They had hoped that my testosterone levels would diminish and that my adventurous spirit might settle down, but, much to their dismay, I vanished for several days. Being the brave and loyal Ramblin’ Man that I am, I couldn’t resist defending my turf. So when I returned, they noticed a small, deep bite wound behind my ear. They rushed me to the vet, where I amazed everyone with my charm. While most cats would hide or squirm, I soaked up every moment of attention as I purred happily through exams and vaccinations. It was there we all learned that I’m FIV+, but you’d never guess it from my confidence nonchalance.
With cold weather setting in, they realized that I deserved so much more than a life of braving the elements. Since bringing me inside, I’ve become Foster Meowmy’s constant companion in the guest room. While I’m cautious of new things, like big, soft, warm blankets, I’m completely unfazed by loud noises like vacuum cleaners. Since I've endured the chaos of lawnmowers, passing cars, and street life, a little hum doesn’t ruffle my fur! Whereas I hissed the first time Foster Meowmy picked me up, it wasn’t long before I let her bathe me, clean my ears, and dry me off without so much as a fuss. My trust in her, although earned slowly, is unshakable.
She recently whispered in my ear that she’d adopt me if she didn’t already have two cats with health issues and one cat who feels like he needs to protect his territory. I must admit that I want more in life than being confined to the guest room. I’m ready for a home where I’m someone’s "beginning and end." I dream of a family where every cuddle, purr, and curious head tilt is met with undivided love and attention. While initially I may be a little cautious of big changes, with patience and kindness, I promise to reward you with unending devotion and affection. You might even find me pressing my head against your chest, purring like a small, contented engine—just as I did with the vet
If you’re searching for a companion to fill your home with warmth, gratitude, and endless love, I’m waiting to meet you. Sometimes the most extraordinary souls are wrapped in soft, silver-gray fur and come with a heart full of hope. Arrange to meet me today!
By the way, I probably contracted FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) from the deep bite wound from another cat.

Lola #roly-polies-for-attention
DOB 6/3/24
Have you ever heard that old song, “Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets?” Well, that’s my name, and what I want most of all is to be the center of Foster Meowmy’s attention! A sure-fire way for me to get this attention is to plop down at her feet and “roly-poly” to show off my speckled belly. I’m a beautiful Classic brown tabby Manx mix gal with bold swirls on my sides and a fluffy stump of a tail, but what makes me different from other kitties is my desire just to be near Foster Meowmy. I’ll happily curl up in her lap as she lounges around or join her in whatever she’s doing – working, exercising, or doing the laundry.
I thrive on our one-on-one time and reward her with all the love and affection that I have to give. When Foster Meowmy picks me up, I prefer that she holds me like a baby as she cuddles with me. I'm young and playful, so I enjoy when she waves the feather wand-toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase.
I'm a curious and energetic girl who’s always exploring and making sure I’m in the middle of everything. “Kitty bar the door” if I’m stuck behind a closed door when I think all the action is taking place on the other side! I’m a true chatterbox and will loudly complain until the door is opened so that I can join the fun. Once I get the quality time I crave, all my little grumblings melt away, and I become Foster Meowmy’s shadow and cozy, loving buddy again.
I was rescued from the streets when my future foster pawrents were looking for a missing cat during some rough weather. I appeared out of nowhere, answering their call to come home. I was grateful when they invited me into the safety of their home, where I welcomed the hooman attention from the young kids but stayed a bit wary of the resident cats and dogs. I don’t have much interest in playing with the furry ones and actually consider them potential distractions when Foster Meowmy should be showering me with attention.
Now I’m ready to find into my forever family where I can enjoy all the love I deserve. If you're looking for a sweet, talkative, and affectionate kitty who adores her hoomans, I’m your girl! I may be small in size, but I’m definitely big on personality! Arrange to meet me today! I promise that my charming antics and loving demeanor will capture your heart.

Lollis #loves-her-freedom
DOB 8/26/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Lollis, a delightful torbie gal who has quite a heartwarming rescue story. (“Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory.) I was a stray orphan kitten fending for myself when future foster meowmy spotted me at her jobsite. It didn’t take me long to decide that she was meant to be my savior. I ran to her, and she scooped me up. I cuddled in her lap to make the unforgettable journey to my foster home, and we’ve been bonded ever since.
Once in my foster home, I was overjoyed to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! Boy howdy! Brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and safety from predators all spelled security and happiness to me. I get along great with the other cats and resident dogs. I have a playful and independent spirit, which makes me a perfect companion for kids. Although I usually maintain my freedom, there are those rare, cherished moments when I need a little snuggle and will seek cuddles from my hoomans.
Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it’s time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let’s form a bond that's unbreakable!

Lorena #the-czarina
DOB 4/7/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lorena the czarina, a sweet, calm mostly-gray dilute tortoiseshell gal who snuggles up next to my pawrents in bed. I covet quiet moments like bedtime because there are no loud noises to "spook" me. I absolutely exult when I'm petted, although I’m not a fan of being picked up. You see, Foster Meowmy rescued me as a friendly stray who showed up at her feeding station with the other neighborhood community cats.
Initially I was shy when Foster Meowmy brought me indoors, but the friendliness of the other cats, dogs, and hoomans, including well-behaved kids, boosted my trust and made me feel comfy enough to relax. Although I like to cuddle with my pawrents and the other kitties as well as hang out with the dogs, I’m independent enough to enjoy my solitary moments. I may bask in a sunbeam as I sleep by the window, and when I do awaken, I’m grateful to be safe inside to watch the lizards, squirrels, and birds scamper and fly by me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I’d be perfectly content to be your solo kitty or a nonchalant addition to your furry family. So arrange to meet me today! Let’s write new chapters in our lives together.

DOB 4/9/21
Have you met Mama Lu, aka Miss Lu, aka LuluLove? She's somewhat independent and prefers to stay out of your way, but doesn't mind the ocasional demonstration of love. She allows you to pet her, kiss her and hold her for a few minutes at the time. But once she's had enough you'll know.
Lu likes to play with her foster siblings but not for long periods of time. This independent spirit would do well in a quiet home and even one where people are gone for hours at a time. She is 100% capable of entertaining herself. This sweet tortie is waiting to meet you.

Magic #smoke-tuxedo
DOB 8/16/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Magic, a very quiet, gentle, and sweet gal who’s very uniquely colored because I’m what’s called a “smoke tuxedo.” This means that I’ve got the usual tuxedo markings of a white bib, chin, mittens, and belly, but my black fur has white roots, which can only be seen when my hair follicles are parted. I’m a princess who’s ravishingly beautiful, if I do say so myself.
I’ve got an adorable penchant for licking people’s hands and feet. Of course, I’m always up for pouncing and tumbling, climbing and wrestling with my brothers, Max and Oreo. When I need some alone time away from my rambunctious brothers, I love to nap in the sun.
My momma Joanie was heavily pregnant outside a country Dollar Store in the middle of nowhere when she was rescued by a HOPE volunteer. Just in the nick of time because my litter was born a few days after momma arrived in our foster home!
Sometimes I can be a little quiet and shy because I’ve been a bit disrupted by being shifted among several foster homes through no fault of my own. I’d do best if I were adopted into a quiet home without dogs, other cats, or young children. Arrange to meet me today!

DOB 4/2/23
Who doesn't love Mario? Come meet Mario and get some Mario Time. While this kitty is somewhat timid meeting new people, he is happy and playful in his foster home. He loves snoozing on the coffee table after he plays with his brothers Bowser, Luigi, and Star.
While Mario has bursts on energy, he likes to sit with you and snuggle when he gets tired. Mario needs you to join in the fun with him and come meet him soon.

Mason #bestie-of-Hans
DOB 5/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mason, a sweet, outgoing, and playful tortie gal who loves everyone – hoomans of all ages, dogs (at least the small ones whom I’ve met), and other kitties. My foster meowmy named me Mason because that very road was the venue for my hair-raising rescue.
You see, when I was a month old, I knew just the car to scurry underneath when it was stopped for a light at a busy intersection on Mason Road – the car of a seasoned HOPE cat-rescuer. When she realized that I was under her car, she refused to move and consequently blocked traffic. Fortunately patrolling deputies came to investigate the traffic jam, protected Foster Meowmy's car from passing traffic, and eventually got me safely into her hands. Talk about Claw and Order!! Boy howdy, I was immobilized with fear there for a while but breathed a sigh of relief when I realized that I was out of danger. The well-meaning employees at the near-by CVS even provided cat food and a transport box to get me home.
Once I arrived at my foster home, I met the little dogs, other cats, and Han, another foster kitten. He's a month older than I am and has become my “bestie” playmate and surrogate brother. The older kitties have become my surrogate aunts and uncles, and they've taught me everything my momma would've if she'd been around.
Now I’m all ready to “graduate” to my forever home. If you like kittens whose past includes danger and excitement, I’m certainly the gal for you! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Han so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Mavis #patio-posse
DOB 8/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mavis, a sweet, easygoing, and playful black gal with a few tortie points. I have a very gentle demeanor until I start play-fighting with my momma and siblings. I’m a little ball of energy, and I love to play soccer with jingle balls and catnip mice. My favorite part of the day is playing interactively with my foster family when they dangle the wand toy over my head or snake it around the room. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings Johnny and Sassy. When we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
My Momma decided to live in my foster family’s backyard. It wasn’t long before she had my litter under some bushes. As my siblings and I got older, we started exploring and ended up seeking refuge on the covered patio when it rained for two weeks. Foster Meowmy and her 13-year-old daughter scooped us up and starting taking care of us.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today. Incidentally, although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my sister Sassy because we just love to snuggle together. I'm the shy and timid one who really depends on Sassy for my confidence. It’d be the cat’s meow to have a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy when you’re at work or on vacation.

Max #shed-posse
DOB 8/3/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Max, an affectionate, outgoing, and laid-back red tabby fella who’s always on the move. I’m a high-energy adventurer who loves to explore, play, and turn every moment into an exciting game. I’m quite the soccer striker with my plastic spring toys and glitter pom-poms. You should see me scale to the top of the cat tree and zoom around the house. Of course I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. When I’ve worn myself out with my boisterous antics, I love snuggling with Foster Meowmy in bed or perhaps with one of my siblings, a.k.a. #shed-posse, in a kitten puddle.
First my daddy emerged from under a shed in Foster Meowmy’s back yard, so she started feeding him as a stray. Next my momma emerged from under the shed, so she started feeding her too. A few weeks later, Charlie, Sophie, Tito, and I emerged from under the shed looking for food. When some stray neighborhood dogs bit Daddy pretty badly, Foster Meowmy trapped my whole family. Whereas she took my parents to be fixed and released them, she brought the #shed-posse inside to safety since we ended up being sweet, friendly, and sociable.
Now I’m ready to find my forever family. If you’re looking for a playful, high-spirited companion to bring excitement to your days, I’d fit like a glove with your family. Arrange to meet me today.

Maya #confident-female
DOB 3/1/24
Meet Maya, a well-adjusted, friendly female kitty who was rescued from a high-kill shelter along with her 5 babies. Maya longs for a home of her own where she can shower you with love and affection. She enjoys being with you but is respectful of boundaries.
Maya was very protective of her babies so has a dislike of dogs that she feels may harm her (or her babies). Maya does get along with other friendly cats after a proper introduction. Don't miss out on making this kitty part of your home.

Mikey #he-eats-anything
DOB 5/18/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out!
You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again.
Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. And boy howdy! I love to entertain my hoomans when we interactively play with feather wand-toys and laser pointers as well as when I play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice. I’d be a great kids’ playmate as long as they knew that I don’t like to be picked up.
Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Miles #front-desk-greeter
DOB 7/1/17
Hey there, everyone! I’m Miles, a sweet, friendly, playful Classic brown-tabby fella who loves everybody – hoomans, other kitties, as well as dogs. “Classic tabby” means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the typical mackerel tabby stripes, so I’m marked quite unusually and handsomely.
A Good Samaritan found me as a friendly stray with a cut on my ear at Oyster Creek Park in Sugar Land. Since I was very sociable and already neutered, it’s assumed that my family dumped me in the park in hopes that someone would rescue me. This is happening a lot in this inflationary economy because people can’t afford to care of their pets.
The Good Samaritan turned to HOPE for help, but since no foster meowmy was available, I was taken to a boarding kennel. The employees have fallen in love with me and bring me up to the front desk to greet the customers. All the noise, barking dogs, and general commotion don’t faze me a bit.
When a HOPE volunteer took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I'd been homeless, but I probably contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from another cat who attacked me.
I've admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I would appreciate a home where I’ll be safe and get lots of attention. I know there’s a home out there where I’ll be cherished for the sweet, playful, and easygoing fella that I am. A family with kids, another cat, or dog to play with would be an added bonus. Could that be with you?
Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Mimosa #marble-swirls
DOB 5/16/23
If you like the “high” you get from a Sunday-brunch mimosa, I’m the kitty for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mimosa, and I got my name because I’m such a sweet, amazing, friendly, and affectionate “feel-good” Classic-tabby bicolor kitten. "Classic tabby" means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel stripes. "Bicolor" means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. I also was named Mimosa because I'm as pretty as the tree's cotton-candy-like blooms. I'm really a stunning sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself!
I love attention, and I’m one of the few kitties who actually likes to be picked up by Foster Meowmy. At bedtime, I love scampering under the covers and then settling down to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy for the rest of the night.
I was crying for food when Foster Meowmy opened her front door one morning. She has a reputation for being a tenderhearted “cat lady,” so most likely I was dumped by a neighbor who had found me. Of course she brought me inside, where I fit in seamlessly with her other cats and small dogs.
The adult cats have ended up being my surrogate mommas who’ve taught me everything that my momma would’ve taught me if she were here. I also enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the older foster kittens. I’m very nimble at scurrying after the red-laser dot when Foster Meowmy bounces it around the room.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, which can have other friendly pets. Arrange to meet me today! If you take me home, next Sunday brunch you can have a Mimosa on me to celebrate!

Missy Longstocking #docile-lapcat
DOB 4/15/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m very, very sweet, friendly, and curious Missy Longstocking, a sleek, elegant harlequin gal with big jade-globe eyes and who’s mostly white with large patches of dark gray. Foster Meowmy named me “Longstocking” because I’m tall with graceful legs that look to be wearing gray stockings. Meowmy is amazed that I don’t have one ounce of “catitiude,” and I heard her exclaiming that I’m the most docile cat she’s ever met.
Although I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I happily curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We then enjoy prime-time together as she gently brushes me or offers me squeezable treats. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I adore interactive play as Foster Meowmy waves the fishing-wand toy over my head because I can show off my acrobatic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”
I have quite a dangerous backstory. A Good Samaritan was driving down Beltway 8 when she spotted me, partially inside a bag, as I huddled in the median. Thank heavens that she’s not scared of much, so she pulled over and quickly grabbed me as cars whizzed by. When we got home, she saw that I was a little bruised, nicked, and scraped as well as very traumatized but overall healthy and uninjured.
I tolerate the other cats in my foster home, but I definitely don’t love them. I haven’t been around kids, but I was fine around a small, polite dog. Since I’m friendly and well-adjusted, I might be very compatible with well-behaved children and cat-friendly dogs.
If you’re searching for a beautifully marked lady-long-legs who looks like a thoroughbred racehorse, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me so we can exchange warm cuddles and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young kitty like me who's past the mayhem of kitten craziness. I'll cause less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

Mittens #polydactyl-cutie
DOB 3/22/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mittens, a sweet, gentle, very submissive dilute-calico gal who’s friendly and sociable with hoomans of all ages. I'm a "bicolor," which means that I'm mostly white with blue and cream patches on my head, back, and tail. I’m what’s called a “polydactyl” because I have more toes on my front paws than most kitties. I’m very petite, and although I’m full grown, I’m the size of a seven-month old kitten.
My future foster meowmy was on a TNR mission when she found me, friendly but pregnant and living paw-to-mouth in a feral-cat colony at a very low-income immigrant apartment complex in southwest Houston. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy scooped me up and brought me home with her to foster me. I’m adjusting well to my safe, secure indoor life with brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and toys to play with.
However, trying to survive at that feeding station had been a very bad experience because I’d had to fight for food amongst the intact toms. So I’m understandably fearful of other cats and need to be an only-cat child in my forever home. If you’re looking for an affectionate baby-doll kitty who’ll always be the size of a kitten, I’m the polydactyl girl for you! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave many-toed paw prints all over your heart – not just because I’m eye candy but also because I’m so affectionate and loving.

Moji #happy-faces-on-wrist
DOB 9/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Moji, a sweet yet very playful pastel brown tabby gal with big round eyes set in my angelic face. My name is short for Emoji because I have very distinctive Happy Faces on both of my wrists. I clearly favor my Foster Daddy, and I absolutely love it when he scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin. Even though I’m very petite and low to the ground, boy howdy, can I jump high when Foster Daddy waves the feather wand toy over my head!
The offspring of a feral momma, my litter of five was rescued from the mean streets of Houston by some Good Samaritans. I adore my foster home with all the indoor amenities like brimming food and water bowls, safety from predators, and climate control. The resident cats are fun to play with, and the big gentle Golden Retriever is a good nanny.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I can’t wait to meet you! You’ll be a lucky family to have a sweetheart friend like me to pet and play with. Just give me a chance to relax and adjust to my new “digs” as I need a little patience while I learn to trust you. Then "I"m yours!"

Moon Pie #a-candid-interview
DOB 3/25/24
We sat down with Moon Pie to see what his situation was and what kind of forever home he was looking for. Below are excerpts of that interview.
Us: Hello Moon Pie. What a cute name. Was there a reason you were named that?
MP: No, not especially. Think my finder Googled exceptionally unusual and cute cat names.
Us: Alright, so you mentioned someone found you. Can you tell us more?
MP: I was born to a stray cat who got kicked out of her home due to a teenage pregnancy. Me and my 2 sisters lived on the streets and had to fight to survive. That's why I tend to hiss at strange things before knowing if they are friend or foe.
Us: Where do you see yourself in a year from now?
MP: I hope I'm in a home surrounded by love with a bottomless bowl of food and lots of cuddles. I do actually purr when I'm picked up. I really am a nice kitty, just scared of the unknown.

Mothra #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Well hello everyone! I’m Mothra, a smart, gregarious, curious brown tabby "princess" with white tuxedo markings. I was named after a giant flying moth that was a popular "heroic" monster in horror films. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I’m a “talker” who chirps and trills for everyone when I greet them, and then I plop down to receive a good belly rub.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
During Tropical Storm Imelda, my brother Godzilla and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with Godzilla so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, chatty princess who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Ms Ethel #high-octane
DOB 5/1/23
Ms Ethel was brought into HOPE when an elderly couple found her and her newborn babies in their backyard. Completely soaked and very hungry, the kitties needed immediate help. A foster stepped up and took in the forlorn family.
Fast forward months later, and all the kitties have been adopted with only momma cat left. Ms Ethel is a sweet mittened torbie. She still prefers not to be picked up but will come over to you for petting and snuggling. Ms Ethel is a stately kitty who is independent and can go hours on end without needing humans. She's simply a low-maintenance kind of gal.

Muffin #ms-congeniality
DOB 4/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Muffin, a very sweet, very outgoing, friendly, and affectionate bicolor gal who loves to sleep near Foster Meowmy. "Bicolor" means that I'm mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. Generally I’m not shy at all, although I clam up at the chaotic adoption events. But that’s not my true self. I’m an energetic girl who loves to play interactively with Foster Meowmy as well as the other foster and resident cats. I’m fearless and therefore not afraid of the resident dog.
I’m a voluptuous eater who’s been known to eat the other cats’ and dog’s food as well as my own. In my quieter moments, I like to bask in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill and watch kitty TV, i.e. follow the squirrels, lizards, and birds as they scamper and fly by.
I’m one of three kittens who were found by a Good Samaritan and rescued at three weeks old after our momma was killed. We were already drinking kitten formula from a bowl when our rescuer reached out to HOPE to find us a new foster meowmy because the resident dog was very cat-aggressive, even to kittens. Thank heavens our current Foster Meowmy saw our cute photo on FaceBook and stepped up to the plate to offer us her home.
Now I’m ready to find my forever family. Arrange to meet me today! Join the privileged group of tuxie adopters who will gladly testify that tuxedos are super-friendly, funny, smart, and affectionate. We're a really necessary feline addition for every household.

Olivia #seeks-adventure
DOB 8/9/23
Meet Olivia, a lovely, playful kitty with a calm disposition. While she is very curious and seems to want to learn everything about her environment, she's beyond the destructive kitten stage. Give her an interactive toy, and she will play contentedly by herself or with other kitties.
Olivia was rescued from a backyard with her three siblings and enjoys the company of cats and dogs. Even though Olivia is independent, she seeks out human attention and cuddles. And when she's in your lap, her motor starts up, and she purrs non-stop. Olivia is looking for her next adventure and wants to share it with you.

Olivia #sister-of-Taylor
DOB 7/30/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Olivia, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate "bicolor" gal who “just wants to have fun!” I'm mostly white with gray on my head, back, and tail. I was rescued along with my momma and sisters almost the day I was born. Since I’ve been loved and handled by hoomans from day one, I’m very well socialized and trusting. I’m a happy, energetic little girl who loves chasing my twin sister Taylor. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! If you’re looking for a fun-loving party girl, I’m the gal for you! Although we’re available separately, Taylor and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. Two's more fun than one, and we’d have a built-in playmate as well as a snuggle buddy to keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Otto #mitted-tabby
DOB 8/21/20
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Otto, and I’m a sweet though shy brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white locket and four white mittens? I’m very sweet with my foster meowmy as well as the other cats in my foster home. I love and trust my foster meowmy when she pets and holds me. I even allow her to clip my claws.
When I was about a month old, my foster meowmy found my three siblings and me in an old abandoned car. After she got us all vetted and vaccinated, I was supposed to be adopted with my sister Zelda. When I arrived at my new home, I was my typical shy self because I was scared, so I found a hidey hole. Unfortunately the family didn’t give me the chance to settle in and warm up to my new surroundings, so I immediately went back to my foster meowmy.
I’m looking for forever adopters who will be patient with me as I warm up and feel comfy in my new “digs.” Ideally they will want to adopt me with one of my foster playmates like Squeeken whom I know well. Nothing like the moral support of a buddy to build my confidence in new situations!
Arrange to meet me today! There are advantages in adopting a cat who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'd be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Parker #chirps-when-contented
DOB 4/1/21
Hey there, everyone! I’m Parker, a sweet, easygoing tuxedo gal with pretty green eyes and high go-go boots who chirps to let Foster Meowmy know how contented I am. Although I’m not one to jump into her lap, once she puts me there, I luxuriate and purr blissfully until I fall asleep.
I was a homeless stray until I found the perfect home to bring my kittens. Foster Meowmy thought I was feral until I refused to leave her house! It turns out that I love the indoor life. Now that my kittens are weaned, I’m permanently retired from being a doting momma.
I truly enjoy relaxing in any comfy spot that I can find around the house, and I’m happy to share your favorite chair with you. I’m independent enough that I don’t demand too much attention, but I thrive anytime I get it. You see, I share my foster home with four resident cats, and although I get along okay with them, I’d love a forever home where there’s more space for me to relax and less competition for Foster Meowmy’s attention. One kitty would be perfect, but four is just too many for my taste.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. I can’t wait to find out, like Goldilocks, that your favorite chair is not too hard, not too soft, but just right! Remember, "chairing" is caring.

Pawdrey Hepburn #sister-of-Lipstick
DOB 3/5/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Pawdrey Hepburn, a brown-tabby beauty with tufted ears who’s as spunky as I am sweet. Since I’m curious and confident, I like to keep tabs on Foster Meowmy by following her from room to room. I brighten her day by exchanging nose kisses and chirping while I play.
I inherited my sweet demeanor from my feline momma Bonita, who was found in Alief as a pregnant teenager. Fortunately she was rescued in time to deliver my litter of three in the safety of foster care. I’ve been handled by Foster Meowmy since I was one day old, which explains why I’m so very sociable and trusting with every hooman I meet. I’m so easy-going that even nail clipping is a breeze with me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I love to climb and explore, so my forever home needs to be a place where I have the freedom to adventure and romp around. It would be great if my new home has kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as the four-legged critters and I are slowly introduced.
Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! And you might consider adopting me with my sister Lipstick. Two is more fun than one, and we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you're at work or on vacation.

Peppa #loves-to-be-held
DOB 7/16/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Peppa, a sweet, loving, easy-going tuxedo gal who has an adorable black button nose. Foster Meowmy testifies that I am a wonderful lap kitty and bed buddy. When I want Meowmy to pick me up, I gently tap my paw on her leg as if to say, “Here I am! Take me into your arms and love me.”
Foster Meowmy found me as a 6-week-old orphan on the premises of a security company in northwest Houston and brought me home. I get along great with the other resident kitties as well as the cat-friendly dogs here. I’m a playful gal who loves to chase the red laser dot that Foster Meowmy bounces around the room.
However, scurrying after the frisky red dot has not always been a piece of cake for me. Out of the clear blue sky, I was challenged with mobility issues starting about a week after my spay surgery. Foster Meowmy was horrified to see me suddenly not be able to support the weight in my back legs, although that didn’t stop me from "walking on my elbows" the best I could, which was nevertheless at quite a fast clip. “My goodness,” heartbroken Foster Meowmy thought, “Peppa is just a 5-month-old kitten!”
For three months, Foster Meowmy did her due diligence and took me to several vets, but it wasn’t until she finally took me to a pain-management vet specialist in The Woodlands that she found someone who could treat me successfully and non-surgically. He diagnosed inflammation in both of my rear elbow joints from either a congenital or traumatic injury.
God bless him because he relieved my pain and inflammation with cortisone and joint lubricant injections in both my back legs and started me on a regimen of monthly Adequan injections. It wasn’t long before – voila - I was playing and running around as if nothing had ever been wrong! What a miracle, thanks to HOPE’s Emergency Medical fund, collected from sales of the annual HOPE cat calendar!
The good news is that with long-term arthritic management, I should be able to live a basically normal life. My only ongoing treatment is for Foster Meowmy to give me monthly Adequan injections. So, although I’m considered a “special-needs” kitty, my chronic mobility problems have responded splendidly to injections and are easily controlled. Aren’t you happy that I need no daily PILLS???
I hope that my technically being a special-needs kitty has not quashed your interest in having me plop myself in your lap or snuggle next to you in bed. I’d do fine as either a solo kitty or companion to your resident dog or cat. Also consider adopting me with one of my feline playmates with whom I’m already bonded. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Pepper #green-thumb-gang
DOB 10/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m playful Pepper, an outgoing, lively, spicy, and confident mitted brown tabby girl who loves to be held by and cuddle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. I’m also an extremely curious adventuress, so I explore every nook and cranny in the house. But more than anything, I love to play, play, play. I’m quite the soccer striker who bats around my jingle bells, catnip mice, and any household object that rolls or slides.
My siblings Peter and Piper were found with me in a flower pot, but our momma was nowhere in sight. Thank heavens our Foster Meowmy scooped up the #green-thumb-gang and brought us to safety in her home. The small poodle and adult resident cat helped raise us and coached us on all the things our momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a cute, friendly little girl with a perfect personality who will "pepper up" life in your family, I’m the playgirl for you! Arrange to meet me today. Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Peter or Piper. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Can you be the PETER PIPER who picks a peck of pickled PEPPERs?

Polly #polydactyl
DOB 8/2/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Polly #polydactyl, which means that I have 6 toes on three of my paws and 7 toes on one paw! I’m a sweet, energetic, and beautiful tuxedo gal with a sleek, shiny black fur coat and giant green globe eyes. Around Halloween, I showed up on Foster Meowmy’s back patio as a three-month-old orphan kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. I looked pretty scrawny because I'd obviously been trying to fend for myself for quite a while on the mean Houston streets. Plus I had burns on my front paws, so I could barely walk. (Antibiotics and ointment have healed them 100%).
I was so grateful that Foster Meowmy brought me inside to safety. Friendly me was thrilled to find a trio of kitty sisters who could be my aunties and teach me all that my momma would’ve made sure I learned if she’d been around. Only problem is that they are 16 years old, so they are not exactly ecstatic with my playful kitten antics. No worries! I entertain myself with the plethora of toys that Foster Meowmy has provided. I’m quite the soccer striker with my crinkle balls and catnip mice, and I love chasing the string wand-toy when Foster Meowmy wiggles it around like a snake. I have plenty of kitten energy to burn!
Now it’s time for me to find my forever home that's not a retirement community! If you’re looking for an adorable and playful beauty who’s always dressed elegantly with my white vest and gloves (that accommodate my 25 toes), I’m the gal for you! Just think of the unique polydactyl paw prints that I’ll leave all over your heart! Arrange to meet me today!

Puddles #rain-kitty
DOB 4/24/24
This is Puddles, a handsome grey tabby with a story as unique as his name. Found in a puddle during a rainstorm, this shy little guy has a gentle and cautious nature. Puddles may take some time to warm up, but with patience and love, his sweet personality begins to shine through.
Puddles' striking grey stripes and soulful eyes tell a tale of resilience, and he's looking for a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe and loved. If you're searching for a quiet, endearing companion who just needs a little extra time to trust, Puddles is the perfect match.

Purscilla #sister-of-Catalina
DOB 4/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Purscilla, an adorable, snuggly, playful white little girl with golden eyes. I love to spend quality time with my hoomans, whether it’s while we’re binging on Neflix and Animal Planet, sleeping together, or while I’m watching their computer work. I tend to be quiet and not meow a lot, but when I do, it’s the sweetest little “mew” you’ve ever heard.
My favorite toys are Foster Meowmy’s hair bands. I can spend hours playing soccer with them as I scamper all around the room. I can’t seem to get enough of them, so I’m hoping that Foster Meowmy will spoil me and buy me my very own package.
My feral momma Clawdia chose to birth my sister Catalina and me in the safety of the patio of an apartment unit that had been vacant for a long time. Was it a mere coincidence that our future Foster Meowmy moved in one or two days later? She’s quite a cat advocate, so thankfully she scooped up newborn Catalina and me as well as trapped Momma in order to bring us all inside to safety.
If you’re looking for a beautiful pure white kitty who loves to cuddle, I’m the gal for you! I hope that my being a “special-needs” kitty will not scare you off; in fact, perhaps you’re one of those benevolent souls who actually seeks out a "special" kitty whom others might pass over. All the more reason for me to love you!
Although we’re available separately, Catalina and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two’s more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me [us] today!

Reeces #sweet-natured
DOB 10/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Reeces who got my name because I’m all the colors of a Reeces Peanut Butter cup. I’m an exotic-looking tortoiseshell kitty with stunningly unique markings! My beauty is matched by my sweet personality – I’m friendly, gentle, easygoing, and always ready to share a calm moment by your side. I like to cuddle with Foster Meowmy at bedtime, and for sure I’ll jump on the bed the next morning to remind her that it’s breakfast time. Although I’m usually a quiet gal, I can be pretty chatty at other times.
I birthed my twin #Beryl-baby girls, Darla and Zoey, during the midst of the hurricane. A nice lady had been feeding me on the front porch of her apartment. Lo and behold, the next thing she knew -- there was a litter of kittens on her front porch. She cared for us all but left us outside. Month-old kittens can be curious, and Darla and Zoey climbed up into the motor of a neighbor’s car. The neighbor didn’t realize this until she started driving and then heard meowing. Fortunately she stopped and discovered them under the hood.
The nice lady realized that we all needed to be safe inside, so she contacted her cat lady friend who’s a HOPE volunteer. Fortunately Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster my little family. Foster life surely beats the hardscrabble outdoor life of a stray. However, sometimes I’ve gotten a little perturbed and had to defend my girls when the resident young male cat plays a little too rough with them.
Now that I’ve retired from doting motherhood, I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be you? My soft demeanor and affectionate nature make me the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving, serene kitty who's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give -- all I need is YOU!

Riley #loves-being-loved
DOB: 5/11/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Riley, a sweet, loving, and playful “bicolor” fella who loves being loved on. Bicolor means that I’m half white with cream tabby on my head, back, and tail. I have fur that’s soft as a bunny’s and big golden-globe eyes.
Foster Meowmy is a star in my book because she gently strokes and coos over me when I snuggle in her lap. I just luxuriate when she lavishes me with attention! Plus we have fun when she waves the feather wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. I’m quite the soccer striker who entertains myself quite nicely by batting sparkly crinkle balls and furry mice around the room.
When I was about four months old, I was spotted meandering around the feeding station of a colony of community cats across from an elementary school. I was all alone -- an orphan with no momma or siblings in sight. Although I was friendly and playful, I wouldn’t allow anyone to come close to me. So a HOPE volunteer came to my rescue, trapped me, and turned me over to the care of my Foster Meowmy.
When I first arrived in my foster home, I was very tame but shy, which indicates that maybe I'd previoulsy been someone's pet. However, once I settled in and realized that my foster home was bursting with amenities, I warmed up to Foster Meowmy pretty quickly. I heard her tell someone, "Riley just needed to be loved up." Recently she’s allowed me to explore the house outside my foster room. There I encountered her resident kitties, and I’ve discovered that they can be great friends and playmates.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate, cuddly companion for yourself, your family, or perhaps another kitty too, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me so you can touch my plush bunny fur and gaze into my big copper-penny eyes. It’ll be hard to resist not taking me home with you because I’m sure to steal your heart.

Robin #superhero
DOB 5/8/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Robin #superhero, a laid-back and lovey Turkish Van mix fella who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. The Turks would say that the black spots on my back are the thumbprints of Allah. I’m an outgoing, friendly, and gentle fella who can sometimes be a loner. I go crazy when Foster Meowmy snakes the wand toy around the room for me to chase. When she’s not around, I entertain myself by playing soccer with my jingle balls, plastic spring toys, and catnip mice.
Foster Meowmy scooped up my brother Batman and me as kittens of a semi-feral momma who had birthed us in the neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m much bigger than Batman and was the first to trust and be socialized with hoomans. I get along great with the adult resident cats, and although I haven’t been around dogs or kids, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do great with both.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and it’s my humble opinion that there’s lots of families that I’d fit into like a glove. Although we’re available separately, Batman, who's mostly black with white tuxedo markings, and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two color-coordinated kitties are more fun than one, and we’d always have a cuddle buddy and playmate when you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Roo #young-&-energetic
DOB 4/1/24
Puff balls and soft mice, cuddle time and playtime, treats and head rubs -- all these are Roo's favorite things. Being a natural born athlete, Roo is full of energy and loves scaling tall cat trees or staircases.
Roo makes friends easily with other pets but needs patience to earn her trust. Investing time to interact with her and giving her positive reinforcement will pay off tenfold. Roo would make a great work-from-home companion.

Sassy #patio-posse
DOB 8/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Sassy, a tortoiseshell gal who's sweet, very energetic, very playful, and VERY affectionate with my hoomans. I also tend to be the dominant, opinionated one of my litter. I’m well named because I'm brimming with "tortitude." As the nursery rhyme goes, “little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.” I’m a bit of a Marco Polo explorer as an outlet for my curiosity.
I’m a little ball of energy, so I’m quite the soccer striker with jingle balls and catnip mice. My favorite part of the day is playing interactively with my foster family when they dangle the wand toy over my head or snake it around the room. I love to tumble and pounce, chase and wrestle with my siblings Johnny and Mavis.
Incidentally, although we’re available separately, please consider adopting me with my sister Mavis because we just love to snuggle together. It’d be the cat’s meow to have a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy when you’re at work or on vacation.

Snow #spunky-four
DOB 2/14/24
Hey there, everyone! I'm Snow, a sweet, cuddly, and playful green-eyed “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my face, back, and tail. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy, but I also cherish time spent with all my hooman friends, especially when they play interactively with me or give me treats. Sometimes I’m a brave adventurer when I explore all the nooks and crannies in my foster home.
Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Luna, and Kisa) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
I believe in magic, the magic of love and companionship. I'm ready to sprinkle that magic into your life. Adopt me, and together we'll write our own magical story. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Sophie #shed-posse
DOB 8/3/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Sophie, an affectionate, outgoing, and laid-back red tabby gal who has a hard time deciding whether I prefer snuggling in Foster Meowmy’s lap, playing soccer with my plastic spring toys, or joining the resident dogs in a game of chase. I guess you’d say that I’m a playful kitten with energy to spare, and when I’ve worn myself out with my boisterous antics, I love collapsing with my hooman or perhaps one of my siblings, a.k.a. #shed-posse, in a kitten puddle.
First my daddy emerged from under a shed in Foster Meowmy’s back yard, so she started feeding him as a stray. Next my momma emerged from under the shed, so she started feeding her too. A few weeks later, Charlie, Max, Tito, and I emerged from under the shed looking for food. When some stray neighborhood dogs bit Daddy pretty badly, Foster Meowmy trapped my whole family. Whereas she took my parents to be fixed and released them, she brought the #shed-posse inside to safety since we ended up being sweet, friendly, and sociable.
I was the spirited kitten who fit right in with the resident dogs because I thrive in an active household. Recently I heard Foster Meowmy tell a friend, “That Sophie. She’s always on the move!” Yes, I admit that I love chasing wand toys, zooming around the house, as well as tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my brothers.
Now I’m ready to find my forever family. If you’re looking for a fun-loving furry friend who adores dogs as much as playtime with other kitties, I’m ready to join your pack! Arrange to meet me today.

Spotty #sister-of-Juniper
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Spotty, a curious, cute, and crafty tortoiseshell “ninja” with a striking orange nose-blaze whose name was inspired by the Star Trek catchphrase “Beam me up, Spotty.” I’m not as shy as I was initially, and I’ve come to just love cuddling with Foster Meowmy. I’m like the Chatty Cathy doll because I have no trouble chirping and trilling for everyone.
Foster Meowmy found Momma and my #spring-shower-litter in her yard one stormy spring day. My brother Ollie as well as my sisters, Minnie, Juniper, and Angel, and I were just a few weeks old, so thank heavens Meowmy brought us safely inside to join the friendly resident cats. My foster home is calm and quiet without kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the other kitties, but I'm apprehensive about the elderly Maltipoo.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home, and if you’re looking for a shy but chatty ninja, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Please consider adopting me with Juniper so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Squeakers #bonded-to-Felix
DOB 4/2/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Squeakers, and I’m a rather quiet and shy tortie gal with green "olive" eyes who was living very happily with my “bestie” Felix in a home where we were really cherished. I was very playful and like to jump. Unfortunately our hooman had some financial setbacks in this inflationary economy. When she learned that she was going to be evicted, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and offered to foster her darlings [us] until HOPE could find us a wonderful new home. Foster Meowmy is insisting that Felix and I be adopted together as a bonded pair in an effort to mitigate the upheaval we’ve already experienced.
My world has been turned upside down since we moved into our foster home. I spend a lot of time hiding and come out to cuddle with Foster Meowmy and to hang out with Felix. I’m a little intimidated by the other cats in my foster home, and I want to make sure that they won’t chase me or be aggressive with me.
If you’ve got a medium to quiet home, Felix and I are the pair for you. Arrange to meet us today!

Starlene #snuggle-bunny
DOB 5/1/23
Hey everyone! I’m Starlene, a lovable, playful mitted “patched tabby” gal who never leaves a doubt in Foster Meowmy’s mind that I love her. My favorite naptime spot is nestled next to her, where I purr away as I fall asleep. I’ve proved to be the best couch buddy she could ever ask for, and my favorite TV shows include ER and Teen Wolf. At bedtime, I like to crawl aboard Meowmy’s chest and listen to her heartbeat before I curl up on her shoulder for comfort and warmth. “Lights out” is when we say good night and safeguard one another’s dreams.
In the morning, I awaken with Meowmy’s alarm clock, yawn, and then ask if it’s time to go watch Cat TV yet. When Meowmy leaves for work, I entertain myself by zooming around the house as well as batting my rolly-balls and stuffed mouse around the room. Anytime during the day is Cat TV time—that’s where I sit on my window perch and carefully track the squirrels, birds, and butterflies as the scamper and fly by.
The second Foster Meowmy comes home, I’m there to greet her with ankle rubs and a happy little “meowr!” She may unwind from a stressful day by interactively waving my beloved feather wand over my head or snaking it for me to chase around the room. I’m a natural explorer, so I always check out anything new. I’ve charted the unknown waters of pantries, cabinets, and bathtubs; I’ve even ventured into the seedy underbelly of sofas as well as upholstered chairs, and I have the dust bunnies to prove it.
There are no other cats in my foster home, but I’m calm and curious with the resident dog except when he gets too excited and is pushy and impolite. I get along great with the well-behaved neighborhood kid and teen who catsit for me when Foster Meowmy goes out of town. They like it that I rub against their hands and ankles to plant my pheromones and that I invite them to pet me. True confessions: when I get excited, sometimes I give a love-bite (but obey immediately to “No biting!”) and can grab hands with my claws out. So maybe a home without young children would be best because I don’t want to scare anybody!
Foster Meowmy first saw me as a friendly, pregnant, teenage stray living at a near-by community-cat colony. She immediately brought me inside, where I began living the good life of a housecat. Now that Meowmy fixed it so I’ll never get trapped in an unwanted pregnancy again, I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m keeping mum about my life before I appeared at the cat colony, but just let me assure you that I was born to be a Star! Arrange to meet me today! If you’re looking for a stellar cuddle buddy, I’m the gal for you!

Stella #boo-oop-a-doop
DOB 5/14/24
Mew! I’m Stella, a sweet but aloof Bengal mix gal with stunning, sharply contrasted brown-tabby stripes, swirls, and spots. I really look quite exotic! And I even have an orange-tipped tail! I enjoy my peace and solitude, but don’t let that fool you! I tend to get the zoomies at night around the other foster kitties. Although they overwhelm me at times, I love their company. I also enjoy playing with my toys and sunbathing at windows where my fur glistens.
I was rescued by a Good Samaritan who reached out to her “cat lady” neighbor, who became my foster meowmy. Thankfully Meowmy was willing to take me into her home where I had to adjust to being around other cats and even large dogs. It took quite some time to acclimate to my new “digs” because I prefer a quiet home with little or no chaos.
Although I enjoy the warm friendships in my foster home, I dream of having a much calmer environment in my furrever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today, and I’m sure my large, sweet eyes and puckered markings on my mouth will steal your heart in an instant!

Stormy #hoarding-escapee
DOB 9/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Stormy, a sweet, fun-loving, and playful tortoiseshell gal who displays the proverbial sassy “tortitude” by being energetic and opinionated. Many cultures believe that torties bring good luck, and who doesn’t need that?
I was only five weeks old when my two siblings and I were rescued from a filthy hoarding situation in the Heights. The lady became ill, and the neighbors jumped in and removed twenty adult cats and three litters of kittens. Tux, Taco, and I were jubilant that Foster Meowmy spoke up for us because she brought us to a nice, clean, healthy foster home where we could tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle like kittens are supposed to do.
After my arrival, it didn’t take Foster Meowmy to notice that I wobbled slightly when I walked. The vet diagnosed me as having an extremely mild case of “wobbly cat syndrome.” This is a congenital disorder that was passed in utero, probably because my pregnant momma was severely malnourished in the hoarding situation. Consequently the part of my brain that controls my fine motor skills and coordination is stunted, so I waddle slightly when I walk and often topple over when I attempt to jump down from the sofa. I’ve been a champ at compensating, and otherwise I’m a healthy, loving kitty who just needs a little help staying away from dangerous environments.
Now I’m ready to embark on the adventure of finding my forever home. Could that be with you? If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate kitten who brings you good luck in exchange for your compassionate care, I’m the gal for you. Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with one of my siblings. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation.

Sunshine #tres-amigos
DOB 8/2/24
Hey everyone! I’m Sunshine, a very social, gentle, and affectionate spotted red tabby fella who loves to cuddle with my foster meowmy. My siblings, Sunshine and Heidi, and I were rescued from an apartment complex where we were wandering around as strays with no momma in sight. Thank heavens the Good Samaritan who found us reached out to HOPE to find us our forever home.
Some of the older resident kitties in my foster home have served as surrogate aunts and uncles who have taught me a lot of manners that my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I love to play soccer with balls and catnip mice as well as chase the feather wand toy. I get along great with the other foster kittens, but I especially enjoy cavorting with Sunny and Heidi. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
If you’re looking for a friendly and loving ginger tabby boy, I’m the dude for you! Arrange to meet me today!

Sweetie Pie #purrs-sweet-nothings
DOB 2/24/15
Hey there, everyone! My name is Sweetie Pie, and you can imagine how I got my moniker: I’m a sweet, quiet, loving “torbie” gal with big green eyes. “Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with random patches of orange that look like I’ve gotten sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory.
My favorite spot is on Foster Meowmy’s lap because I luxuriate when she gently strokes my ears, cheeks, and chin. When she coos over how darling I am, I turn on my rumbling purr motor. At first we exchanged lengthy forehead-to-forehead nudging, but once I started trusting her even more, we started rubbing our noses, i.e. we Eskimo kissed. Surprisingly, being held brings me great joy, and when I was at the vet recently, I hugged one of the vet techs and purred sweet nothings in her ear when she snuggled me to her chest.
I’m a playful girl who enjoys carrying tiny stuffed animals around, dropping them by my food bowl, and then carrying them back to my bed so I can snuggle with them. My favorite interactive play with Foster Meowmy is when she makes my plush toys become puppets. In my pensive moments, I like to hang out in my kitty cubbyhole and look out the window as the world walks, scampers, or flies by. I’m fine alone while Foster Meowmy’s at work as long as she greets me by gently touching my head before my meals. Believe it or not, my favorite treat is malt-flavored kitty toothpaste.
I had been an outdoor stray who hung out on three porches at Foster Meowmy’s apartment complex for a few years. Two neutered male kitties protected me from other unfriendly cats at the community feeding station. The neighbors called me “Scaredy Cat” because I ran away when anyone got too close. Everyone assumed that I was an unsocialized feral cat, but when a HOPE volunteer trapped me, the vet discovered that I was already spayed; so my ear was notched, and I was released back outside.
But then I experienced a blessing in disguise: I injured my leg around Thanksgiving. So Foster Meowmy brought me inside to recover (it's now 100%) and ended up keeping me inside because of the freezing winter weather. Well, I made a miraculous transformation once I was inside and proved that I had probably been someone’s pet in the past who unfortunately was abandoned or had gotten lost. It took being safely inside again for my sweet disposition to shine and to enamor all my hoomans, including the vet staff!
I’m ready to find my forever home now! Foster Meowmy thinks I’d be perfect for anyone who’s looking for a quiet lap-companion to binge on Animal Planet or Netflix with them. This could be retirees, adults, or even well-behaved children. I need to be an only pet-child because I’m scared of dogs and cats from my hardscrabble days of fending for myself. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a mature kitty who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Taco #hoarding-escapee
DOB 9/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Taco, a friendly, cuddly, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who loves for Foster Meowmy to kiss my face. That’s when I emit the softest meow ever to show my approval. I’ve got sleek, shiny fur that looks like black patent-leather.
I was only five weeks old when my two siblings and I were rescued from a filthy hoarding situation in the Heights. The lady became ill, and the neighbors jumped in and removed twenty adult cats and three litters of kittens. Tux, Stormy, and I were jubilant that Foster Meowmy spoke up for us because she brought us to a nice, clean, healthy foster home where we could tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle like kittens are supposed to do.

Taco #quad-squad
DOB 9/9/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Taco, a very sweet and friendly Bombay mix fella whose day is a constant cycle of eating treats, playing, and then snoozing. This all could be with my beloved foster meowmy or with my siblings, a.k.a. the #quad-squad. My sisters Astrid, Ava, and Brooke were scooped up with me by Foster Meowmy and her neighbors as our feral momma was trying to move us to a safer place when we were just three weeks old. My whole family was brought inside, and once we were weaned, Momma was released back outside after her spay surgery.
I love my sisters because we have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.

Tango #bestie-of-Little-Bobbie
DOB 4/7/22
Howdy everyone! I’m Tango, a loving and mellow yet funny and lively red tabby fella with a warm personality and a great sense of humor. Foster Meowmy describes me as “the most wonderful of kittens who deserves an A+ home.”
Next to a pile of debris in the Lindale area, I was found in the street as an orphan with no momma in sight. I fit right into my foster home along with several other rescued kittens who were my same age. I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
The three resident cats acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.
Arrange to meet me today! You'll fall in love with me the second you meet me. I'm all ready to settle into my A+ new home! Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Little Bobbie and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. I’d be happy to give you an extra kiss because we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Taylor #loves-nose-kisses
DOB 8/9/23
Oh woe is me . . . I'm no longer a small, highly desirable kitten . . . one that people fawn over and seek out. I was adopted in March and returned three months later because my new owner didn't expect cats to have fur that might shed. Not that I shed much, but she had some highly unusual expectations.
I'm calm, cuddly and playful. I love attention from humans. In fact, I have been known to jump on the cat tree to get someone's attention and then allow them to kiss me on my nose. Nose kisses or crunchy treats just make my day!
Do you need a super-special, docile kitty to share your home with? My name is spelled T-A-Y-L-O-R. Come to see me swiftly.

Tom Sandoval #plays-iPad-games
DOB 4/15/23
If you think the actor Tom Sandoval looks like a hunk dressed in black, you should see me! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tom Sandoval’s namesake, an affectionate, saucy, friendly black DSH/Bombay mix kitten with a sleek, shiny coat. I can be quite the snuggly Siesta King who loves to curl up in bed with either Foster Meowmy or my sister Maddox, with whom I'm very bonded. I soak up any attention that Foster Meowmy gives me, especially when she’s dispensing Temptation treats.
I’m a playful guy who loves to play soccer with toy mice as well as engage with iPad games. And of course I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my three sisters, Maddox, Lala, and Katie. I can also entertain myself by scaling the cat tower and playing with its dangling toys.
When my Foster Meowmy was walking on her driveway one day, she spotted my feral momma and my litter of four under the house of her next door neighbor. She trapped, spayed, and released Momma but brought us kittens inside to socialize us. We fit in beautifully with her other pets, and now that we're ready to be adopted, she promises to find us all fantastic homes.
If you’re looking for a handsome, gentle, easy-going fella who gets along with other cats and small dogs, arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of my sisters so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tommy #after-five-jetset
DOB 6/20/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tommy, a lively, friendly, playful, and curious gray-and-white tuxedo fella who looks just like my namesake Tom, the scheming cat in the Tom and Jerry cartoon series. I’m an outgoing Mr. Congeniality who’s always ready to make new friends. I’m also like Marco Polo because I bravely explore new surroundings and lead the way for the rest of the #after-five-jetset. We got that name because the five in my litter are all beautifully and elegantly dressed in “after-five” [tuxedo] attire.
My siblings and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me so that my playful antics and lively spirit will keep you smiling. I promise that my Tom-and-Jerry personality and good looks are the perfect match for you! Consider adopting me with one of the #after-five-jetset so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tori #Eskimo-kisser
DOB 7/29/22
Hey there, everyone! I'm Tori, a sweet, gentle, affectionate, easygoing tortoiseshell gal who gives the best nose-to-nose kisses that you could ever experience. I love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy as she waves the feather wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room. Then again, I’m a calm, chill girl who likes to lay in my cozy cat bed by the window and watch the wildlife fly and scamper by.
Future Foster Meowmy had been feeding a male kitty for a couple of months when he brought my three-month old daughter Kittie and me to the colony feeding station. Thinking that this male kitty was my husband, Foster Meowmy got us both spayed right away. After we recuperated from surgery, she released Kittie and me outside. However, when another cat started attacking Kittie, Foster Meowmy brought us both inside to safety. I initially begged to go back outside, but because of the danger of the aggressive outdoor cat, Foster Meowmy stuck to her guns and insisted that I stay inside.
I eventually adapted well to indoor living and certainly enjoy spending peaceful, quality time with Kittie as well as Foster Meowmy. I love the indoor amenities of brimming food/water bowls, climate control, protection from predators – not to mention yummy freeze-dried chicken treats. Foster Meowmy tried to network among her family and friends to find us our forever homes, but to no avail. So now she's hoping that HOPE will give us the public exposure we need to be adopted into loving families.
If you have a penchant for tortoiseshell kitties and want a serene and loving dispenser of Eskimo kisses, I’m the gal for you! Although we're available separately, Kittie and I think it'd be the cat's meow if we could be adopted together. Two's more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give - all I need is YOU!

Tux #hoarding-escapee
DOB 9/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tux, a friendly, loving, and vocal tuxedo fella who’s a “mamma’s boy” because I’m so attached to Foster Meowmy. She loves my solicitous affection, by the way!
I was only five weeks old when my two siblings and I were rescued from a filthy hoarding situation in the Heights. Tyson #after-five-jetset
DOB 6/20/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tyson, a shy but curious and playful “bicolor” fella who’s mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. I’m one of the #after-five-jetset, who got that name because the five in my litter are all beautifully and elegantly dressed in “after-five” attire. (Many of my siblings are “tuxedos.”) I usually hang back and check everything out from a distance before I jump into the melee of fun that my siblings have created. They usually succeed in bringing out my rambunctious spirit when we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
They are heroes in my book because they gave us all a second chance!!
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! Since my personality shines best when I’m frolicking with my siblings, I hope that you’ll consider adopting me with one of the #after-five-jetset so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Valentino #feline-heart-throb
DOB 5/1/21
Hey there, everyone! I’m Valentino, a sweet, easygoing, extra-large harlequin cat. “Harlequin” means that I’m mostly white with a few large orange-tabby patches on my head and back. I got my name because, like the famous 1920’s actor, “the Latin Lover” Rudy Valentino, I’m a real sex symbol for the ladies – both 2-legged and 4-legged.
I’ve taken quite a shine to my Foster Meowmy, and vice versa, because she shares her lap with me. I love it when she scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears, and we enjoy hanging out together. This could include binging on Animal Planet and Netflix or cuddling in her arms. I may be extra large, but that just means that I’ve got more for her to hug. Thanks to Foster Meowmy's discipline, I'm making progress as I've already trimmed down two pounds to weigh in at 17 1/2 pounds!
I guess you’re wondering why a handsome gentle giant like me needs a new home. Well, my former caretaker loaded me up in my carrier and abandoned me at the Arthur Storey Park off the Beltway 8. I guess the idea was that someone would feel sorry for me without food and water and take me in. Fortunately -- you guessed it -- a Good Samaritan rescued me and contacted HOPE. Thank heavens my foster meowmy stepped up to the plate, and now I’ve got all the food, water, and TLC imaginable.
Although I’m happy in my foster home and get along great with the resident kitties, I know what’s best for me is to have a forever home of my very own. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet my sweet self, but be prepared for me to leave my big paw prints all over your heart. I have so much love to give -- all I need is YOU! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting an adult cat like me who’s long past the mayhem of kittenhood. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Hey there, everyone! I’m Vincent #Van-Gogh, a handsome, docile, gentle, and affectionate Chartreux mix fella with big golden-globe eyes and plush, medium-short blue fur. I live life to the fullest and appreciate the wonders of the world. I’m devoted to my foster meowmy and love to cuddle with her while we gaze at the Starry Night – or else while we binge on Animal Planet and Netflix.
I’m one of the six in the #artist-colony litter who were found as orphans on the day we were born with no momma in sight. A Good Samaritan rescued us from an apartment complex and brought us to a nice mom-daughter team, who has lovingly cared for us since we were bottle babies. Georgia #O'Keeffe, Botero #Fernando, Dali #Salvador, Claude #Monet, Diego #Rivera, and I have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I’d love to be your best friend. Arrange to meet me today! Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of my siblings. While you’re at work or on vacation, we could be playmates as well as cuddle buddies.

Winnie #sweet-tuxedo
DOB 4/1/24
Introducing our sweet tuxedo kitten, Winnie, a gentle and loving little lady with a striking black-and-white coat. This calm and affectionate kitten is the perfect cuddle companion, always ready to snuggle up in your lap or follow you around the house with her big, soulful eyes.
Despite her young age, she has a relaxed demeanor and enjoys quiet moments just as much as playtime. Her favorite activities include soft purring sessions, cozy naps, and the occasional playful chase of a soft ball.
With her endearing personality and classic tuxedo charm, she’s sure to bring warmth and love to her forever home. Winnie would do best in a quiet home.

Zephyr #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Zephyr, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and just a few pale smudges of gray on my shoulders.
My brothers, Banksy and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Donti. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling with each other.

Zoe #golden-globe-eyes
DOB 3/8/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Zoe, a gentle, affectionate, easygoing, and friendly Russian Blue mix gal with big golden-globe eyes. I'm very petite, and I'm Foster Meowmy's little shadow who likes to follow her all around the house. I’m sweet and playful, although I can be shy as it takes sensitive Russian Blue mixes longer than most cats to adjust to their new environment and new people.
You see, I showed up as a friendly stray in my future foster meowmy’s yard, and after befriending me with yummy food, she eventually coaxed me inside. That’s when she realized that I was pregnant, and I delivered my litter of five kits a month later. Thank heavens my kits are now weaned, and I’m now permanently retired from being a doting momma.
I’m enjoying all the luxuries of indoor life – brimming food and water bowls as well as climate control and safety from predators. I pretend that I only tolerate Foster Meowmy’s hugs, kisses, coos, and cuddles, but I actually appreciate her affection and attention after living paw-to-mouth for so long. I also enjoy playing soccer with catnip mice and pom-pom balls, and I’m so enthusiastic with my excellent scratching-post-manners that I make the cardboard scratcher into a toy! Scaling the cat tree for a bird’s-eye-view of activity below is my favorite pastime. You see, I can get a little hissy with the resident cats, and I like the psychic distance that the height of the cat tree affords.
If you’re looking for a chatty, well-behaved, and elegant feline who’s gentle, clean, and loyal, I’m the Russian Blue mix gal for you! By the way, the Russian Blue mix is one of the most intelligent cats on the planet! So arrange to meet me today! Let’s begin writing a new chapter in our lives together!

Zoey #Beryl-baby
DOB 7/6/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Zoey, a friendly, affectionate, and cuddly Bombay mix gal who is just brimming with cleverness and personality. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro kitties because we like to stick so close to our people. I for one like to lounge close to Foster Meowmy while she's working or watching TV just in case she wants to reach over and pet me. She calls me an “exceptional” kitten because I’m super playful with my twin sister Darla and momma Reeces yet at the same time I’m very loving, sociable, and easygoing with hoomans.
Darla and I are known as the #Beryl-babies because our momma Reeces birthed us during the midst of the hurricane. A nice lady had been feeding Reeces on her apartment's front porch. Fortunately she stopped and discovered Darla and me under the hood. The nice lady realized that we needed to be safe inside, so she contacted her cat lady friend who’s a HOPE volunteer. Fortunately Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster my little family.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be you? Consider adopting me with my bonded-sister Darla. Although we’re available separately, two’s more fun than one. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we had a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation.
