All Adoptable Cats
Our cat adoption fee is $100
(Mr.) Noel #lap-kitty-bed-buddy
DOB 7/12/21
Are you looking for a uniquely marked tabby kitty who has small cheetah-like spots on his sides instead of the typical tabby stripes? Well I’m the man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Noel, your perfect feline companion! I'm a very friendly, affectionate, loving, easygoing, and active cream-colored “spotted” tabby fella.
My foster mom calls me her favorite "lap cat" and her "bed buddy" because I love to snuggle. She rescued me as a baby who needed to be bottle-fed, so I love being carried around. I live with cats and dogs, so I get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
Why am I a "special needs" kitty? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, a rare, relatively harmless disorder that causes my body to make too much urine. It’s easily controlled with daily eye drops. However, I will need an experienced owner who can give me my drops every day and monitor my drinking as well as...um...my “output” in case the dosage needs to be adjusted by the vet. Easy peasy!
No reason for you to pass me by since I’m such a lovable and loving spotted guy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give that all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 21-0814-A050
If you are interested in (Mr.) Noel and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net, and a volunteer will get back to you.
Abigail #bonded-to-Squeeken
DOB 3/5/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Abigail, a.k.a. Lil’ Orphan Abby, who’s “the funniest and sweetest girl,” according to Foster Meowmy, who’s fostered LOTS of kittens in her lifetime. I’m a friendly, affectionate tuxedo gal with a white blaze up my nose, and I soak up all the attention that Foster Meowmy can give me. If she’s preoccupied with brushing her teeth, I’ve figured out that I can climb up on the bathroom counter and strategically place myself so it’ll be easy for Foster Meowmy to pet me with her other hand. That’s when I turn on my really loud purr motor.
When I was about 10 weeks old, someone dumped me on Foster Meowmy’s front porch, probably because she’s the neighborhood cat lady. Fortunately Meowmy decided to take out the trash at 2 am, and there I was -- like a little Amazon Prime delivery. I was friendly and had no fleas, but -- boy howdy – was I scared. She brought me inside, and an adult tuxedo kitty, who’d been added to the foster mix about three months previously, decided that I was her long-lost baby. Squeeken and I have been besties from the get-go. We play, and she grooms me as well as teaches me all the manners my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Since I'm very attached to Squeeken, Foster Meowmy is insisting that we're adopted together. We agree that it'd be the cat's meow because two is more fun than one, especially when we look like a tuxedo mother/daughter duo. We can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation as well. Arrange to meet us today! Count on a double set of little paw prints all over your heart!
HOPE ID 24-0525-A022

Achilles #karate-guy
DOB 6/24/23
Meet Achilles, a typical tuxedo boy who will drive you crazy with his antics and make you fall in love at the same time. While his personality doesn't show well initially, give this ninja cat time to adjust, and he will show you some slick moves. Achilles has been described as a bulldozer, a karate boy, a snuggler...you just need to take this guy home to decide for yourself. Achilles might just steal your heart

Alice #miss-congeniality
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings.
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat.
Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! My heart has so much love to give, all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 22-1022-E022

Amelia #three-sisters
DOB 5/8/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Amelia, a sweet, independent, and playful green-eyed beauty who has the distinction of being a female red spotted tabby with white tuxedo markings, which is quite unusual. I’m an expert biscuit-maker, which is my way of expressing my delight and contentment. Foster Meowmy thinks I’m a courageous gal because I like to explore every nook and cranny.
My two sisters, Annabelle and Anastasia, and I, a.k.a. the #three-sisters, belonged to a burgeoning group of outdoor cats whose owner neglected us, i.e. wasn’t feeding, altering, or vaccinating any of us. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy scooped us up when we were weaned yet young enough to adjust easily to hoomans and the indoor lifestyle.
When we needed to be medicated for the usual outdoor-kittens’ worms and skin issues, we were sweet, compliant patients . . . “a breeze,” to use Foster Meowmy’s terminology. We love the safety of our foster home where we can tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now we’re the picture of health and ready to find our forever homes. Although we’re available separately, we think it’d be the cat’s meow if at least a two of us could be adopted together so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave little paw prints all over your heart.
HOPE ID 24-0713-C079

Anastasia #three-sisters
DOB 5/8/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Anastasia, a sweet, relaxed but playful green-eyed beauty who has the distinction of being a female pale-red tabby, which is quite unusual. Foster Meowmy thinks I’m a real clown because I’m always attacking the broom (of all things!).
My two sisters, Annabelle and Amelia, and I, a.k.a. the #three-sisters, belonged to a burgeoning group of outdoor cats whose owner neglected us, i.e. wasn’t feeding, altering, or vaccinating any of us. Annabelle #three-sisters
DOB 5/8/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Annabelle, a sweet, playful, and energetic green-eyed beauty who has the distinction of being a female pale-red spotted tabby, which is quite unusual. Foster Meowmy has a hard time photographing me because when I see her, I come straight to her instead of posing.
My two sisters, Anastasia and Amelia, and I, a.k.a. the #three-sisters, belonged to a burgeoning group of outdoor cats whose owner neglected us, i.e. wasn’t feeding, altering, or vaccinating any of us. And he shines brightly when in the right nurturing, happy environment. He loves sunbeams where he sits up tall and straight and relaxes when the sun goes down. Bring Aster home and bring home some love.

Astra #so-special
DOB 4/7/24
Astra is a sweet lynx-point Siamese with striking blue eyes and a soft, graceful demeanor. She enjoys lounging on kitty trees, where she can observe her surroundings, and is always ready to play with her favorite wand toys. Although Astra has an easy-going nature, she is also quite independent and appreciates having her own space. She’s affectionate but on her own terms, making her the perfect balance of playful and serene.

Aurora #all-in
DOB 9/16/23
Whatever Aurora does, she pours her whole heart into the effort. Whether it's cleaning herself, searching for lost toys, or chilling in a morning sunbeam, Aurora concentrates on each task at hand.
Given her age when rescued, Aurora needs a patient home where she can adjust at her own pace. She loves people and other cats and tolerates dogs, but a lot of chaos scares her. If you have a zen-type home, Aurora would welcome gracing you with her presence. Your reward will be lots of purrs and head butts.

Banksy #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Banksy, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for a black semi-colon between my ears. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince!
My brothers, Zephyr and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park.
And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with both of my brothers or momma Clara so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Barbie #New-Years-Day-kitty
DOB 1/1/17
Hi there! I’m Barbie, an affectionate, sweet-faced bicolor tabby gal who’s mostly white with silver tabby on my head, torso, and tail. I’m an outgoing, spunky, but opinionated little lady who absolutely loves to cuddle in my foster meowmy’s lap.
I’m a playful girl whose favorite things are kitty tunnels, boxes, and toy mice. When I need a "time out" after playing or from my housemates, I prefer to bask in sunbeams on the windowsill or curl up on top of the refrigerator.
I get along pretty well with other foster kitties and would do well in a household with a laid-back cat or dog but probably not with small children. Arrange to meet me today!

Birdie #chirper
DOB 9/15/23
Birdie is in search of a quiet home where she can have time to adjust to a new home and her new family. Once settled in, she loves sitting in laps to purr quietly and contentedly.
The things Birdie loves are:
- cat trees in front of window sills or window seats where she can look out and talk to the birds.
- tunnels or Amazon boxes that she can rest or run through.
- other kitties to snuggle up with or even friendly dogs
- quiet nights in your lap watching Animal Planet or watching your cursor on the monitor. Please help Birdie find her forever home before she becomes just another full-grown tabby cat.

Biscuit #gentle-giant
DOB 2/1/23
Meet Biscuit, a charming Maine Coon male who brings a calming presence to any room. With his sweet nature, Biscuit loves gentle pets and never says no to a tasty treat. He's a well-mannered gentleman who's often found relaxing in the common area with the other cats and the family dog, although he tends to keep to himself.
Biscuit is a professional napper, and his favorite spots include the cozy windowsill, the TV console, and his comfy cat bed. Above all, Biscuit is highly food-motivated, always ready for a snack!

Bloom #chatty-Cathy-doll
DOB 12/8/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bloom, a sweet, talkative, playful silver tabby gal with big, green eyes who likes to tell you how I feel about things! Foster Meowmy rescued me as a neighborhood stray. Boy howdy, I was glad when she brought me inside to safety! At first I was very shy and skittish as I allowed hands, loud noises, and new people to frighten me.
Thank heavens Foster Meowmy knew to be patient with me, and it wasn’t too long before I came out of my shell and starting displaying my rambunctious personality. I can transform into a ball of energy who zooms around the house and plays with anything because, in my eyes, everything is a toy – including fingers and toes.
I also have a cuddly side to my personality as I like to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy. My favorite post-playtime activity is basking in a patch of sunshine at the top of the cat tree. My ideal home would be a quiet one with one other male cat, although I tolerate the resident dogs in my foster home.
Arrange to meet me today so I can play “tootsie” with you! True confessions: the noise at adoption day makes me cower in my cage, but I hope you'll still want to take me home to see my "zoomies" in action. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home and break your cherished accessories.

Brooklyn #queen-of-your-heart
DOB 3/27/24
Meet Brooklyn, a sweet, petite ticked tabby girl. Brooklyn is a uniquely marked tabby with ticking on her back. She loves being held but may make you work for her affection. Once she's in your arms, she reverberates with purrs.
Brooklyn and her brother, Tokyo, are a great pair and would keep you entertained for hours. They love exploring and finding hidden treasures. Brooklyn is more of a ground dweller, while Tokyo prefers to higher places like cat-treetops.

Button #cute-as-a-button
DOB 9/1/20
Hey there, everyone! I earned my name Button because I’m “cute as a button.” I’m a petite, affectionate, playful tuxedo gal with an adorable stripe down my nose. I love it so much when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears that I turn on my purr motor and “make biscuits” to show my ecstasy. Sometimes I give her “sandpaper kisses” with my tongue, and on very special occasions I’ll curl up next to her or in her lap for a nap.
I really enjoy all different kinds of cat toys, i.e. tower of balls, cat tunnel, catnip mice, and crinkle balls, but wand toys are my favorite because they let me show off my athletic prowess. I totally focus when I lunge and pounce as Foster Meowmy waves it over my head, and I can get so lost in the moment that I start panting to catch my breath.
In my quieter, low-key moments, I’ll find a patch of sunshine on the window ledge so I can watch all the wildlife scamper, climb, or fly by me. I’m perfectly content to spend the day napping while Foster Meowmy’s at work, and as soon as she returns, I run up to greet her by winding around her legs to plant my pheromones.
I was found as a “spicy” kitten in Foster Meowmy’s neighbor’s yard, and, because I was scared of people, I was released outside after I was spayed. I grew up among the neighborhood stray cats and was a faithful diner at the colony feeding station. However, over the next few years, I grew to trust my feeders/caretakers. So when I was injured during a cat fight, I decided to come inside and allow Foster Meowmy to treat me in my recovery.
Once inside, I realized that the pampered indoor life has big advantages, i.e. brimming food and water bowls, temperature control, and safety from predators. I’d never enjoyed delicious treats, catnip, or wet food before! So I’m relieved to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye and anticipate finding a loving forever home for this next phase of my life. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's past the mayhem of kittenhood. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Catalina #sister-of-Purscilla
DOB 4/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Catalina, a very sweet, affectionate, and friendly white little girl with golden eyes. I absolutely love hoomans, and I’m not shy about requesting for them to pet me as well as give me treats. In fact, I’m very vocal and will let Foster Meowmy know when she hasn’t scratched just the right spot on my anatomy.
I may be smaller than my sister, but I’m definitely the braver of the pair! I was the first one to wobble out of our “nest” as well as to venture out of our nursery to explore my world. My favorite activities are playing hide-and-seek, bird-watching, and exploring like Marco Polo did.
My feral momma Clawdia chose to birth my sister Purscilla and me in the safety of the patio of an apartment unit that had been vacant for a long time. Was it a mere coincidence that our future Foster Meowmy moved in one or two days later? She’s quite a cat advocate, so thankfully she scooped up newborn Purscilla and me as well as trapped Momma in order to bring us all inside to safety.
When Meowmy took us to the vet to get vaccinated and spayed, all three of us tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Meowmy assumes that Momma probably contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat and then passed it on to us before we were ever born. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a beautiful yet adventurous pure white kitty, I’m the gal for you! I hope that my being a “special-needs” kitty will not scare you off; in fact, perhaps you’re one of those benevolent souls who actually seeks out a "special" kitty whom others might pass over. All the more reason for me to love you!
Although we’re available separately, Purscilla and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two’s more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me [us] today!

Chandler #mr-bright-eyes
DOB 4/14/24
Meet Chandler, a supremely confident kitten who's brimming with intelligence. This guy is a quick learner and was the first of his litter to master new challenges. Chandler is outgoing, friendly and lives to be taught new things.
He is, of course, litter-box and scratching-post trained. He can play fetch if given some incentive. Meet Chandler and see what he can do.

Charlie Brown #Peanuts-gang
DOB 6/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Charlie Brown, the biggest, fastest, and gutsiest of the #Peanuts-gang. I’m an outgoing, affectionate, and curious “bicolor” fella. Bicolor means that I’m mostly white with blue tabby on my head, back, and tail. I'm an energetic, playful, and alert fella who likes to chat with Foster Meowmy about how her day’s been going. I'm quite the soccer striker as I bat my catnip mice and crinkle balls around the room.
A Good Samaritan found my momma as a stray after she had birthed my litter of five. This nice lady brought us all to safety inside her home, so I grew up socialized to hoomans at an early age. I had a blast as I tumbled and pounced, climbed and wrestled with my brothers. After Momma had weaned us, the nice lady brought Momma to the vet to be spayed. She wanted to adopt Momma but needed help in finding homes for the #Peanuts-gang. The vet contacted Foster Meowmy because she’s an experienced HOPE volunteer. She agreed to foster us and named us Linus, Schroeder, Lucy, Woodstock, and “yours truly.”
If you’re looking for a friendly, gregarious gentle giant, I’m your boy! Please consider adopting me with one of the #Peanuts-gang. (Linus is my favorite.) Two is more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Chip #handsome-van
DOB 4/17/24
Hi, I'm Chip, and I am a great companion kitty. I love people and playing with any kind of cat toys. I even make my own fun by diving into cushions to see what treasures are hidden there. Playing chase with other kitties keeps me busy -- as does running up and down stairs. I'm an energetic guy and will bring a smile to your face with my antics. Come show me some love.

Cholo #bilingual-cat
DOB 4/22/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Cholo, and my Foster Meowmy named me that because, at 8 weeks old, I was found on a sidewalk near Beltway 8 and Beechnut Street. I reminded her of a Mexican-American "cholo boy," who’s a young urban-street gangster. I’m a sweet, talkative, and playful silver tabby fella with strong black stripes who’s bilingual – I understand both English and Spanish. However, I speak “cat” and meow when I want attention, food, or treats.
I’m an energetic dude who loves to zoom around the house as well as play soccer with my jingle-bell balls and catnip mice. I adore any toy that bounces and mimics a spider or lizard. I’ll spend hours playing with a few feathered toys that hang from the door frame. Although I’m very food-motivated, Foster Meowmy has learned not to give in when I beg her for treats because, once I start playing, I completely forget about Temptations.
Occasionally I like to jump out from my hiding place to ambush a hooman or dog who happens to be passing by. I’ve been living with three pooches, and I’m very tolerant of their unique form of play, which consists of smelling me and biting my ears. Foster Meowmy is amazed and thinks that it’s fun to watch how I don’t get aggressive with these dogs or try to fight them.
Now I’m ready to settle into my forever home. Could that be with you and your canine family? Arrange to meet me today! You’ll find that I’m a cholo boy who has many talents, including capturing your heart.

Clara #dainty-green-eyed-beauty
DOB 4/14/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Clara, a super-sweet, quiet, demure charcoal grey and white tuxedo gal who’s actually the retired momma of the #graffiti-boys litter. I'm a real beauty because I have a sleek, shiny coat that's soft as a bunny's fur, and my big green eyes are mesmerizing!
I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin as well as when she gently caresses my back. I was initially shy when I first arrived in my foster home, but once I got to know and trust Foster Meowmy (thanks to treats and yummy food!), I started relaxing.
Meowmy is very conscious that sudden movements make me nervous, so she makes sure that she moves around me very slowly. You see, I was rescued from an apartment complex as a stray momma cat with my three boys, so my radar always on the alert for danger to protect my babies from predators. Admittedly, it took a while for that mindset to be discarded and for me to wake up to the reality that I was suddenly living in a safe, secure environment of plenty.
Although my three boys, Dondi, Zephyr, and Banksy, were weaned long ago, I can’t resist being the “helicopter momma” who’s always in the background watching out for them. Even though I’m a dainty lass, I even join in their roughhousing from time to time. I become somewhat of a police officer when it comes to the other resident cats and my boys. The fact is – I’ll always love my sons!
Most of the time, I stay out of the way and am as quiet as a mouse. (Who wouldn't be when her sons are such flamboyant characters?) I’m happy to keep to myself and don’t demand a lot of attention from Foster Meowmy, although I luxuriate when she does pet me. Now it’s time for me and my family to find out forever homes. All I ask for is a quiet home with people who know the power of a gentle touch. And it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Banksy.

Collin #brother-of-Julian
DOB 3/23/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Collin, a precious, laid-back brown tabby fella who likes to hang out in my foster family’s laps while we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet. When I’m not in a mood to relax as a couch potato, I can be adventurous and curious. And boy howdy, I can do a number with interactive wand toys that my foster family waves over my head. I enjoy playing soccer with all sorts of balls – crinkle, poufy, and with bells.
My #three's company litter, Aubrey, Collin, and I, were rescued as orphans out of our Foster Pawrents' back yard. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, which could include cat-friendly dogs as well as other cats. Of course, it’d be the cat’s meow if I were adopted with my brother Julian. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Connor #so-fun
DOB 3/25/24
Meet Connor, a dapper dude with cute white boots and a white line down his nose. Have you ever seen a more uniquely patterned kitty? Connor is easy-going, albeit a little timid and tends to gravitate toward other playful kitties or a warm lap.
Connor is a loyal companion and, once settled in, will greet you at the door or stalk you from behind his favorite hiding place.

Dondi #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches.
My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Donovan #learning-to-play
DOB 4/6/24

Donovan craves to be loved and shown how to play and relax. Donovan requires a patient home where he can give and receive love. Please give Donovan a chance.

Also one who, when you start petting him, doesn't want you to stop? You need to come meet Donut. He's perfect for you.

DOB 8/15/23
Meow, Meow, everyone! I’m Dude, a gentle, alert, and easygoing “bicolor” fella who’s mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. My brother Darcy looks like my twin, but I have a solid white nose. I’m a curious, intelligent guy who thinks Temptations and Churus squeezable treats are yummy.
My three brothers and I were all rescued from a neighborhood feral cat colony by our future foster meowmy. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Arrange to meet me and bring along the Churus!

Duke #lion-king
DOB 9/20/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Duke, a.k.a. the Lion King, a friendly, happy, and playful brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. I’m very affectionate with my foster meowmy and like to lie next to her in bed at night. I have the loudest purr motor that you’ve ever heard!
During the day I enjoy chasing, wrestling, and hiding with the other foster kitties. Only thing is that I don’t like dogs at all – doesn’t their barking drive you nuts too?
My birth momma left my sister and me as orphans in a nice couple’s back yard when we were only four weeks old. The couple fed us for a few days, but they were afraid that we’d fall into the swimming pool and drown, so they turned to our HOPE foster meowmy to find us homes.
I’m simply the cutest, bravest, and happiest tabby fella whom you’ll ever meet, and I’d love to snuggle into your home and heart. If you’re looking for a very social, well-behaved fella with perfect scratching-post manners and who’s an absolute sweetheart, arrange to meet me today! While I’m cuddling in your lap, I may just get you to guess the decibels on my purr motor, which sounds like an outboard motor!
By the way, if you're looking for a pair of cats, I'm very bonded to a younger foster brother named MJ #mini-Jack. Although we're available separately, it would be the cat's meow if we as besties could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Dumpling & Dim Sum #bonded-brothers
DOB 3/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Dumpling and Dim Sum, a bonded pair of brown-tabby brothers who are ultra-sweet, friendly, and affectionate. We love to cuddle with our hoomans almost as much as with each other. We’re a happy pair who’s always purring and making biscuits, whether we’re snuggled with each other or having our chins scratched in Foster Meowmy’s lap.
A Good Samaritan found us and dropped us off at PetSmart/Pearland, and thankfully our foster meowmy agreed to welcome us into her home until we can find a fantastic forever home. She’s insisting that we be adopted together because we’re inseparable best friends who love each other very much.
We fit into our foster home beautifully. We enjoy playing with each other as well as when Foster Meowmy interacts with us using a wand toy with enticing hanging balls. We’re also curious and love to explore, so watch those open cabinet and closet doors! We may sneak inside for a peek.
I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “It’s been amazing watching Dumpling and Dim Sum grow up into such fine young gentlemen. They’d be a wonderful addition to any family. We hate to see them go, but they deserve a forever home to share their abundant love with their forever owners.” Hope you’re convinced that you should arrange to meet us right away! We plan to be at the PetSmart/Pearland Saturday adoption day every week.

Eeyore #good-hearted
DOB 4/1/24
Honest and loyal, somewhat pessimistic, Eeyore is loved by everyone. Being a fairly smart kitten, this brown tabby guy will enthrall you with his inventiveness.
Playtime is Eeyore's favorite time, and he loves interacting with his family and friends (both human and feline). Bring out a feather toy or laser pointer, and watch Eeyore come to life! With Eeyore to keep you company, you'll experience endless joy and love.

Elsa #craves-treats
DOB 8/25/21
Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat.
I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home.
Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart

Emme #doll-on-the-doormat
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Emme, a friendly, affectionate, stunningly beautiful “bicolor” gal, which means than I’m mostly white with red tabby on my head, back, and tail. I have unique facial markings, big green eyes, and fur as soft as a bunny’s. I’m quite a lovely package, not to mention that it’s rare for female kitties to be red tabbies.
I like to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy’s thigh rather than on her lap, and I enjoy it when she picks me up for a quick cuddle. I luxuriate when she pets me – whether it’s scratching my cheeks, chin, and ears or rubbing my back and belly. I like to hang out in the same room as Foster Meowmy just to be near her as well as to monitor her activities Although I don’t interfere, if you need a supurr-viser, I'm the gal for you!
My birth momma scoped out the neighborhood and decided that the doormat of Foster Meowmy’s back patio was the perfect spot to bring her litter when we were almost newborns. I’m so grateful that Momma wanted a better life for us than the hardscrabble outdoor life and that Foster Meowmy invited us in. All I can remember is being indoors with Foster Meowmy and her other foster cats, although I haven’t been around dogs or kids. I’m a teenager at heart, so I can entertain myself by playing soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice, but I also enjoy roughhousing with the other kitties.
I’m looking for my forever home, so I hope that my sweet innocent expression and big globe eyes have captured your heart. Arrange to meet me today! True confessions: I tend to be shy at the adoption days because they can be busy and chaotic. However, that’s not my true personality when I get back home.

Felix #bonded-to-Squeekers
DOB 4/1/15
Hey there, everyone! I’m Felix, and I’m a very friendly, affectionate, and mellow “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, “saddleback,” and tail. I’m really quite handsomely marked with a big circular patch of black on my left side. I’m crazy about Foster Meowmy because she coos over me, brushes me, and strokes me gently. I love to snuggle with her every night. I enjoy children because they will play with me. I’m quite the soccer striker in that I like to bat around crinkle balls and catnip mice.
I was living very happily with my “bestie” Squeekers in a home where we were really cherished, but unfortunately our hooman had some financial setbacks in this inflationary economy. When she learned that she was going to be evicted, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and offered to foster her darlings [us] until HOPE could find us a wonderful new home. Foster Meowmy is insisting that we be adopted together as a bonded pair in an effort to mitigate the upheaval we’ve already experienced.
Although I haven’t been around dogs, I’m an easy-going dude who gets along great with other cats and kids, and with proper introductions, I might do great with pooches too. If you’ve got a medium to quiet home, Squeekers and I are the pair for you. Arrange to meet us today!

Finch #snuggle-queen
DOB 9/15/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Finch, a super-sweet, calm, laid-back dilute calico beauty who just adores spending quality time with my hoomans and snuggling with them while we cat nap on the sofa together. I’m quite uniquely marked in that my front right leg is gray, and my left leg is cream tabby. But I’m no couch potato! Nor siree! I love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy by batting at the feather wand toy as well as chasing the red laser dot around the room.
When my heartless owners moved out of the neighborhood, they just abandoned me as a small kitten to fend for myself outdoors. Fortunately, my future foster meowmy’s teenage son found me lying half-dead in a tire-well in their yard. He brought me home and nursed me back to full health. (Boy howdy, what an amazing young man!!)
When I was at a HOPE adoption event, one of the volunteers noticed that I wobbled slightly when I walked. Foster Meowmy immediately took me to HOPE’s vet, who diagnosed me as having an extremely mild case of “wobbly cat syndrome.” This is a congenital disorder that was passed in utero because my pregnant momma was either severely malnourished, poisoned, physically traumatized, or infected with the panleukopenia virus. Consequently the part of my brain that controls my motor skills and coordination is stunted, so I waddle slightly when I walk and often topple over when I attempt to jump down from the sofa.
However, being a bit clumsy doesn’t slow me down one bit. I still love to play and chase around like a normal cat. In fact, most vets recommend that wobbly cats get an abundance of exercise that encourages us to use our paws (without our claws being clipped in case we need to steady ourselves). By playing with Foster Meowmy and Foster Teenage Brother, my condition actually improves because I adapt and learn to compensate as I use other parts of my brain.
Now I’m ready to find my forever (indoor-only) home! I’m looking for a low-key someone who’ll play with me, and then we can snuggle up and take a cat nap together. I haven’t been around other cats, cat-friendly dogs, or small children, but I’m young and gentle enough that I just might adapt. If you’re looking for a sweet, responsive kitty who loves interacting with her hoomans, I’m the gal for you! I’m ready and more than willing to reciprocate your cherished devotion. Arrange to meet me today!

DOB 3/6/23
Looking for a great furry companion who's really quite funny and silly? Then I'm you're man! I'm George, a sweet and adorable spotted red tabby fella who always has a surprised look on my face. Yes, like George Weasely of Harry Potter fame, I'm a George with flaming red hair.
My favorite activity is playtime, and I love interactive play with my foster meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head. My curiosity gets the best of me, and I'll follow Foster Meowmy all over the house because I can't resist chasing string and feathers! I’m also a very inquisitive little guy, and I find folding laundry and other daily tasks fascinating to watch!
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play tag with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap. I'm not a leader, so I usually follow around my brother Harry.
I'm looking for a home where hoomans will play with me and love me a lot! I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with Harry so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

George #you-can-call-me-George
DOB 4/8/24
George just wants to please you. He's a gentle guy who loves playing with wand toys and sitting quietly by himself. George gets along with other cats and dogs and is well-behaved. George still has kitten energy at times and can be found exploring his world in search of adventure. Come say hello to George and make his day.

Godzilla #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Howdy everyone! I’m Godzilla, a goofy, sassy, curious, and energetic brown tabby fella who’s proud of my monster-name. I may be a big boy like Godzilla, but I’m a sweet marshmallow at heart. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
During Tropical Storm Imelda, my sister Mothra and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. My foster mom heard my crying on a driveway, and she says that I’ve continued to let everyone know my opinions ever since. I was the runt of my litter and was bottle-fed by my foster pawrents. Boy did I love my bottle!
Those “nursing” sessions ended up being a great time to bond with my humans and probably explain why I’m so sociable with people. The bottle has now been replaced with cat treats, which have probably contributed to my “plus-size.”
If you’re looking for a friendly feline companion who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your man! Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with Mothra. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Han #bestie-of-Mason
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Han, a sweet, friendly, outgoing, and playful grey tabby fella who loves everyone – hoomans of all ages, dogs (at least the small ones whom I’ve met), and other kitties. I have the temperament of a natural leader, and small as I am, I like to stay in charge of the situation. That’s why –when I decide that I want to – I get up on the sofa with Foster Meowmy so we can binge on Netflix and Animal Planet together.
Foster Meowmy rescued me from hanging around a dumpster in New Caney. An orphan with no momma or siblings in sight, I was only one month old and living the hardscrabble life at a much-too-young age. Once I arrived to my foster home, I was welcomed by the other cats and little dogs, who have served as my surrogate aunts and uncles and taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. It wasn’t long before a new foster kitten arrived. Mason is a month younger than I am and has become my “bestie” playmate and surrogate sister. So now I have a whole surrogate family as well as a loving Foster Meowmy!
Although I like it here, I know I need a home of my very own where I’ll have fewer kitties to compete with my hooman’s attention. So now I’m all ready to “graduate” to my forever home. If you like spunky kittens who have leadership qualities, a.k.a. a mind of their own and a take-charge attitude, I’m the dude for you! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Mason because I’ll need a playmate. We can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Harry #brother-of-George
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Harry, and just like Prince Harry, I have the "ginger gene," which is responsible for my flaming red hair. I'm a winsome, entertaining tabby fella who’s easy to pick up and cuddle. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy as well as greet her with a "kitty handshake," i.e. touch my nose to her hand. I also cleverly learned to give high-fives with my paw. I’m quite a chatty chap because I chirp and meow to my family when I'm feeling comfy and happy.
I can’t resist playtime whether it’s with kids, other kitties, or myself. I'm full of energy, and interactive play with my foster family is my favorite calorie-burner. I’ll chase strings all day long if someone will play with me! I love all sorts of toys, especially little stuffed animals and balls that I can bat around and chase. After I‘ve played soccer with them, I’ll carry the soft, fuzzy ones around in my mouth. When I’ve had a surfeit in the exercise department, I'll jump on and climb the cat tree to catch my breath or perhaps a quick cat nap.
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me so you can find out that I’m more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Since I'm the leader of my pack, my siblings follow me around. Consider adopting me with my brother George so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Harry #FIV-Pos
DOB 2/21/17
Looking for a kitty in need? One who has gone through really rough times and has successfully come out on the other side? Harry is your guy. And you can't find a sweeter, more mild-tempered kitty than Harry is. This loaf of a kitty is undemanding and just wants to chill at your place.
Harry is a playful, affectionate, talkative kind of guy, whether he's batting around his favorite toys, cuddling on the couch, or exploring the house, Harry always brings a smile to everyone's face. Altered FIV-positive cats can live with non-FIV cats.

Hercules #strong-man?
DOB 6/24/23
Hercules thinks his foster mom gave him a strong name to boost his confidence and make him more macho. But maybe it back-fired on her, because Hercules is a gentle, non-confrontational soul who enjoys quiet pursuits. He loves lounging on cat trees and napping in quiet corners. Hercules may keep to himself a lot, but he enjoys a warm lap or soft petting. Just being in the company of this laid-back guy would probably lower your blood pressure by 10 points.

Indy #copper-penny-eyes
DOB 9/1/21
Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful.
My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station!

Jason Todd #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you longing for a furry friend who's as full of energy as affection? Meet me, charismatic and spirited Jason Todd, who's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your life. I’m a kitten who's always ready to embark on new and thrilling experiences. Beyond my adventurous demeanor, I have a softer side that adores cuddles and quality time with Foster Meowmy. What's a love of exploration if I have no one to share it with? I’m always there for her in an instant, ready to provide comfort after a long day.
Named after the third Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my outgoing personality and heart of gold. My energy knows no bounds! I’m a whirlwind of fun and games that’s always ready to chase after toys, pounce on imaginary prey, and keep Foster Meowmy entertained with my boundless enthusiasm.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with expressive gold eyes and sprinkles of salt mixed in my black fur. I’m an instant head-turner, if I do say so myself. My gorgeous appearance is matched only by my captivating personality, which adds up to my being a kitten few will be able to resist.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be Johnny-on-the-spot to comfort my hooman after a long day. Perhaps my next adventure is with you!

Jenna #cuddle-expert
DOB 9/21/18
Looking for a sweet, affectionate kitty who will make you feel cherished by her gentle purrs and head nudges? Then I’m the perfect gal for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Jenna, a loyal and loving black DSH/Bombay gal who’s a real cuddle expert. At bedtime, I curl up next to Foster Meowmy to share her warmth and comfort throughout the night.
Although I’m initially timid when I meet someone, once they warm up to me and I get to know them, I luxuriate in being stroked down my back as well as scratched on my chin, cheeks, and ears. I’m more of a lap cat than a fan of being picked up and carried around. My eyes light up with excitement at the sight and smell of snacks because I’m always up for a tasty treat. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the birds outside the window because I’m captivated by their graceful flights and playful chirps.
My street-stray momma ran inside future Foster Meowmy’s home and immediately birthed my litter of four under her bed. Foster Meowmy turned to HOPE to help get us vetted as well as adopted, and, sure enough, I was adopted as the Pet of the Week at the PetSmart Pearland.
Unfortunately, I was found in a trap several years later. I can’t explain to Foster Meowmy exactly what happened, but she thinks either I was dumped outdoors, or else I dashed out the door and couldn’t find my way back home. As a previously indoor kitty, I wasn’t used to foraging for prey, so the yummy food attracted me inside the trap. Thank heavens I was traced back to HOPE through my trusty microchip.
When Foster Meowmy took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I’d been outside, but probably I contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat.
Despite my loving nature, I’ve admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I certainly deserve a caring and understanding family the second time around. With my endearing personality and undying devotion, I promise to be a constant source of joy and love in my next family’s life.
Arrange to meet me today! And you know there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Jiji #long-ears
DOB 4/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Jiji, and I was named after Kiki’s talking black cat with the big eyes and long ears who starred in the Japanese animated fantasy film "Kiki’s Delivery Service." I’m a sweet, friendly, and affectionate Bombay mix fella who loves to sleep with and play interactively with my hoomans. I’m super-smart and have already learned how to sit on command.
After a big spring storm, my Foster Meowmy heard me when I was hiding in a bush. I was a six-week-old orphan with no sign of my momma or siblings. I had heard a stray cat meow, and I tried to call for help. Only problem was that I didn’t even know how to meow properly, so I sounded like a bird or like a Pokemon who’s saying his own name.
Fortunately, Foster Meowmy rescued me and brought me home to join the other resident cats, and brave boy that I am, I get along great with them. I figure that they can be my surrogate aunts and uncles and teach me everything momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Foster Meowmy has promised to find me a wonderful forever home. If you’re looking for a sleek and shiny black kitty who sticks like Velcro to his hoomans, I’m the loving boy for you! Arrange to meet me today! I can’t wait to snuggle with you while we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet.

Jin #Triple-T
DOB 5/18/23
Introducing our fabulous talkative, tippy-toe, tabby cat named Jin. Pet his head and he stands on his toes to lean up into your hand. Rub his back and he walks on his back tippy-toes. If you're not doing either one, he appears at your side and meows for attention.
This very unique kitty is not a fan of being held as he loves his tippy-toes and rubbing up to you instead. Loving the company of other talkative and friendly cats, Jin adjusts to quiet environments the best as he wants to be the one to make the music. Meet Jin and fall in love.

Julian #brother-of-Collin
DOB 3/23/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Julian, a handsomely marked gray tabby fella who has come to my own as a lap cat with my foster family, although I was initially quiet and reserved until I felt comfy in my new surroundings. It helps that I love to have my tummy rubbed, and my foster family is more than happy to accommodate my preferences. I’m a playful dude with my toys, my siblings, as well as the resident Yorkies.
My #three's-company litter, Aubrey, Collin and I, were rescued as orphans from our Foster pawrents' back yard. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, which could include cat-friendly dogs as well as other cats. Of course, it’d be the cat’s meow if I were adopted with my brother Collin. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Juniper #sister-of-Spotty
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Juniper, a cute, crafty, and clever brown tabby “ninja” gal who got my name because I’m a little “Junior” who looks like my dad. I’m initially shy with people, but once I warm up, I love to cuddle and to rub my pheromones on everyone!
Foster Meowmy found Momma and my #spring-shower-litter in her yard one stormy spring day. My brother Ollie as well as my sisters, Minnie, Spotty, and Angel, and I were just a few weeks old, so thank heavens Meowmy brought us safely inside to join the friendly resident cats. My foster home is calm and quiet without kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the other kitties, but I'm apprehensive about the elderly Maltipoo.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home that I was promised, and if you’re looking for a shy but sweet “June bug,” I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! Let's write new chapters in our lives together. Please consider adopting me with Juniper so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Hey there, everyone! I'm Kira, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate brown tabby gal who’s full of life and whose silly antics make Foster Meowmy laugh. I greet her with a purr or a playful swat and enjoy cuddling with her when the mood strikes. I’m her mellow, loyal companion who’s content to simply be at her side.
I’m a bold, curious, brave girl who’s not afraid of new experiences, investigating new sounds and smells, or exploring every nook and cranny. I learn things quickly and solve treat puzzles in no time. I’m gentle too in that I never misuse my claws when I’m playing. Foster Meowmy rescued me as a teenager in her neighborhood. Kisa #spunky-four
DOB 2/14/24
Hey there, everyone! I'm Kisa, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate green-eyed “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my face, back, and tail. I’ve got a big, outgoing personality, so I’m always eager to make new friends. I greet Foster Meowmy with a purr and enjoy cuddling with her when it’s time to relax. I’m her loyal companion, always by her side because I like to be her shadow. I learn things quickly, and I get lost in the moment entertaining myself with treat puzzles and my toys. I’m gentle too for a kitten in that I never misuse my claws when I’m playing.
Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Snow, and Luna) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
When you adopt me, you’ll bring home a loving, intelligent companion. You'll never be bored with me around! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation

Koko #laser-enthusiast
DOB 6/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Koko, a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and playful bicolor fella, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. I love for Foster Meowmy to hold me in her arms, and I snuggle with her in bed. Cuddling is just in my genes. You see, when I was about 7 weeks old, a nice couple found me wandering in a neighbor’s yard. From the first time that they picked me up, I was the perfect cuddly boy who wasn’t scared of them one bit.
My rescuers couldn’t keep me, but fortunately Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster me until I could be adopted. Since I was scooped up as an orphan with no siblings or momma in sight, the resident cats in my foster home have been my surrogate parents and taught me all the manners that my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. Another foster kitten Marilyn, who’s two weeks younger than I am, is my surrogate sister as well as my “bestie” playmate and snuggling partner. I also adore interactive play with Foster Meowmy when she bounces the laser light all around the room.
Now I’m ready for my forever home! If you’re looking for a laser enthusiast with a penchant for cuddling, I’m the boy for you! Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Lipstick #sister-of-Pawdrey Hepburn
DOB 3/5/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lipstick, a beautiful, sweet, and cherub-faced brown tabby gal who was born with my left back leg’s not developing past my elbow. No worries! I don’t let being a tripod stop me one bit! I scamper around like any normal kitten.
I’m a little on the timid side, so you might think I was aloof when you first meet me; however, once I get to know you, I’m an absolute cuddle bug. I adapt to new hoomans and situations smoothly but definitely at my own pace.
I inherited my sweet demeanor from my feline momma Bonita, who was found in Alief as a pregnant teenager. Fortunately she was rescued in time to deliver my litter of three in the safety of foster care. I’ve been handled by Foster Meowmy since I was one day old, which explains why I’m so trusting of hoomans. My favorite thing to do is play the coquette by looking dainty and adorable as I lounge in the comfiest chair in the room and observe everything happening around me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. It would be great if my new home has kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as the four-legged critters and I are slowly introduced. What’d be the cat’s meow is if I could be adopted with my sister Pawdrey Hepburn so I could explore my surroundings with plenty of confidence. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to cover your heart with my tiny paw prints!

Little Bobbie #bestie-of-Tango
DOB 4/7/22
Hello everyone! I’m Little Bobbie, and I’m an adorable, petite dilute gray tabby with white mittens and locket. Don’t you love my sweet, angelic face? I was a two-week-old orphan, covered in leaves and sticks, when I was rescued from a field. Neighbors had witnessed dogs chasing away my momma; alas, she never re-appeared. Several cat lovers took me inside and bottle-fed me along with several other bottle-babies who were my same age.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle. The three resident cats have acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who have taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.
Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Tango and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Lollis #loves-her-freedom
DOB 8/26/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Lollis, a delightful torbie gal who has quite a heartwarming rescue story. (“Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory.) I was a stray orphan kitten fending for myself when future foster meowmy spotted me at her jobsite. It didn’t take me long to decide that she was meant to be my savior. I ran to her, and she scooped me up. I cuddled in her lap to make the unforgettable journey to my foster home, and we’ve been bonded ever since.
Once in my foster home, I was overjoyed to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! Boy howdy! Brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and safety from predators all spelled security and happiness to me. I get along great with the other cats and resident dogs. I have a playful and independent spirit, which makes me a perfect companion for kids. Although I usually maintain my freedom, there are those rare, cherished moments when I need a little snuggle and will seek cuddles from my hoomans.
Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it’s time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let’s form a bond that's unbreakable!

Lu #chill-tortie
DOB 4/9/21
Have you met Mama Lu, aka Miss Lu, aka LuluLove? She's somewhat independent and prefers to stay out of your way, but doesn't mind the ocasional demonstration of love. She allows you to pet her, kiss her and hold her for a few minutes at the time. But once she's had enough you'll know.
Lu likes to play with her foster siblings but not for long periods of time. This independent spirit would do well in a quiet home and even one where people are gone for hours at a time. She is 100% capable of entertaining herself. This sweet tortie is waiting to meet you.

Lucille #lulu-lemon
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lucille, but you can call me LuLu. I’m a very loving, cuddly, curious, and playful soft-gray tabby gal. I enjoy it when Foster Meowmy strokes me chin and cheeks as well as when she waves the feather wand toy over my head.
I was rescued with my three siblings from behind a bar in the Heights. Although my mom was feral, I love the indoor life where I can explore around the house, play soccer with my toys and the resident cats, as well as nap to my heart’s content with the resident dogs.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? I’d be the perfect playmate for your resident cat and the perfect companion “napper” for your dog. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Lucy #fluffy-tail-bunch
DOB 4/1/20
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lucy, a sweet, cuddly, easygoing calico/tortoiseshell-with-white Maine Coon mix gal with a big fluff of a tail. My thick, luxurious fur is soft and plush like a bunny's. I love to climb up in Foster Meowmy’s lap for her to scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears. Sometimes I nap, and sometimes we binge on Netflix or Animal Planet. I’m a real sucker for canned food and yummy treats.
While passing a dilapidated apartment complex, a Good Samaritan discovered an injured male cat whose leg was in bad shape. She took him to the vet, where his leg was amputated and he was neutered. When she returned to the apartment complex to release him, she discovered a friendly pregnant calico, who was --you guessed it – yours truly. She put two and two together and figured out that the male’s injuries hadn’t stopped him from being a lothario. My future foster Meowmy scooped me up and brought me home, and Leon, Sunny, Mia, and Leah were born in foster care.
Now that my kits are weaned and I'm permanently retired from being a doting momma, I’m ready for my forever home, so please arrange to meet me. If you’re looking for a chilled-out and reserved furry companion, I’m your gal! Incidentally the advantage of adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem is that I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Luffy #just-luffs-kids
DOB 4/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Luffy, a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and adoring brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who thoroughly enjoys the company of my entire foster family, including the preschool kids. Since my gentle, calm temperament tolerates the kids' man-handling me, I got my name because the preschoolers say, "This kitty 'luffs' us." I have fun playing interactively with all my hoomans, and I’m a curious guy who likes exploring.
My foster meowmy surmises that I was someone’s pet who was allowed to go outside, and the inevitable happened when I was hit by a car. My future foster meowmy fortunately was the Good Samaritan who didn’t pass me by but rescued me and took me to her vet. I’m a brave fighter who narrowly escaped my leg's amputation through sheer determination, and I’m happy to report that my leg has healed beautifully.
Although my foster family cherishes me, I can’t permanently stay inside because of Foster Meowmy’s allergies. Plus, although I’m fantastic with the kids, I’m not keen on the other resident pets. So here I am looking for my new forever home.
Incidentally, I’m a very social kitty who would sink in a sea of despondency if I were left home all day alone. So whether you’re a noisy, chaotic young family or some stay-at-home empty-nesters who’re looking for a loyal companion with an amazing personality, I’d be the perfect addition to your home! Arrange to meet me today! By the way – bring on the kids or grandkids as I’d love to be their bedfellow once we get home.

Luna #spunky-four
DOB 2/14/24
Hey there, everyone! I'm Luna, a sweet, friendly, and cuddly black and white tuxedo gal. I’m the life of the party, so expect me to be goofy, playful, and fun-loving. I’m a brave girl who’s always ready for her next adventure.
Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Snow, and Kisa) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
If you’re looking for a gay, spritely feline to brighten up your days, I'm your girl! I'm as sweet as a candy cane, friendly as a good neighbor, and independent as a solo rock star. Mario #mama-mia
DOB 4/2/23
Who doesn't love Mario? Come meet Mario and get some Mario Time. While this kitty is somewhat timid meeting new people, he is happy and playful in his foster home. He loves snoozing on the coffee table after he plays with his brothers Bowser, Luigi, and Star.
While Mario has bursts on energy, he likes to sit with you and snuggle when he gets tired. Mario needs you to join in the fun with him and come meet him soon.

Marley #the-survivor
DOB 6/15/19
Hey there, everyone! I’m Marley, a beautiful, docile, playful dilute tortie gal with mesmerizing big, gold eyes. I’ve got plenty of “tortitude,” which just means that I’m like hooman little girls: “sugar 'n spice and everything nice.” I can be very sweet when I want to be, and other times I can be feisty and independent. (What woman isn’t?)
For example, I’m very friendly with dogs as well as hoomans, but I do not like other cats. Fortunately, Foster Meowmy knows how to handle my ‘tude by providing plenty of indoor enrichment – like the feather wand toy, catnip kicker toys, and food puzzles.
Foster Meowmy understands that I’ve had a challenging life that no dainty lady with a gorgeous pastel fur coat should have had to endure. The only positive thing that my first owners did was spay me. I guess they thought that spaying me gave them license to expose me to the dangers of outdoor life. Consequently, I survived being shot in my neck with a BB gun. Yikes! Lastly, my owners just abandoned me!
Fortunately, Foster Meowmy became my advocate and stepped up to the plate to foster me until HOPE could find me a much better forever home. In her words, “Marley just needs a safe place to truly blossom.” Amen! And I’m thriving in my foster home. What girl doesn’t love indoor amenities like climate control, spa days, and plenty of entertainment?
I hope my story has plucked your heartstrings and that you’ll arrange to meet me. I just know that you’ll be up for the challenge of taming my tortitude. It’s not really that hard.

Mason #bestie-of-Hans
DOB 5/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mason, a sweet, outgoing, and playful tortie gal who loves everyone – hoomans of all ages, dogs (at least the small ones whom I’ve met), and other kitties. My foster meowmy named me Mason because that very road was the venue for my hair-raising rescue.
You see, when I was a month old, I knew just the car to scurry underneath when it was stopped for a light at a busy intersection on Mason Road – the car of a seasoned HOPE cat-rescuer. When she realized that I was under her car, she refused to move and consequently blocked traffic. Fortunately patrolling deputies came to investigate the traffic jam, protected Foster Meowmy's car from passing traffic, and eventually got me safely into her hands. Talk about Claw and Order!! Boy howdy, I was immobilized with fear there for a while but breathed a sigh of relief when I realized that I was out of danger. The well-meaning employees at the near-by CVS even provided cat food and a transport box to get me home.
Once I arrived at my foster home, I met the little dogs, other cats, and Han, another foster kitten. He's a month older than I am and has become my “bestie” playmate and surrogate brother. The older kitties have become my surrogate aunts and uncles, and they've taught me everything my momma would've if she'd been around.
Now I’m all ready to “graduate” to my forever home. If you like kittens whose past includes danger and excitement, I’m certainly the gal for you! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Han so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Merle Haggard #ramblin-man
DOB 5/18/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Merle Haggard, and I’m a sweet, handsome brown tabby boy who got my name because my first owner never neutered me, and like Merle Haggard, I got Ramblin’ Fever. One day I appeared in Foster Meowmy’s apartment complex as a friendly stray who wanted everyone to pet me. Every day a little 10-year-old girl would sit on the sidewalk and play with me, but no one claimed me as theirs.
Suddenly it hit me that, just like Ramblin’ Fever’s lyrics say, “I’d like to bed down on a sofa and let some pretty lady rub my back.” So I howled at future Foster Meowmy’s door and asked to come inside with her other kitties. Thankfully, she obliged, and after all that time without sufficient hooman attention, I luxuriated when she picked me up and held me. Now I enjoy sleeping with her every night, and I’m very docile when she clips my claws.
I’ve had my challenges with my introductions to her three cats. I’m not aggressive, and with the female, I lie on my back with my paws folded; with the male kitty who’s a scaredy cat and keeps his distance, I tried playfully to chase him without much cooperation; however, with one male cat who’s territorial, fur can fly when we meet. This may just be because my testosterone level has not fully dissipated after my neutering as a mature kitty. As time passes, we could get along better and hopefully someday play together. I know for sure that I love children and would be a perfect bedmate for kids, and I’d probably get along great with easy-going, cat-friendly dogs.
I hope that my rescue story has plucked your heartstrings and that you’ll arrange to meet me. I have so very much love to share – all I need is YOU! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a mature fella like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’d be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Mia #sister-of-Niko
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mia, and I’m a brave, playful medium-haired “smoke” beauty with a white locket and super-soft fluffy fur. “Smoke” means that I have black fur with white roots. I’m an energetic gal who loves marathon games of fetch as well as playing soccer with my balls and toy mice. When I’m thoroughly exhausted, I collapse in a kitten puddle.
My brother Niko and I showed up inside a wall at my Foster Meowmy’s townhouse complex, where I was trapped for three days. I must’ve been separated from my momma too young because I like to suckle soft blankets. Nevertheless, I’m the one who bosses Niko around because he’s the runt.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Although we’re available separately, Niko and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. What a handsome bonded pair we’d make! Arrange to me [us] today!

Midnight #mr-congenial
DOB 3/25/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Midnight, and I’m a friendly, affectionate, playful, and sociable Bombay mix fella who soaks up all the attention that Foster Meowmy showers on me. I especially like it when she coos over me, hugs me, and gently strokes my cheeks and chin. Bombay mix kitties are often called Velcro cats because we love to stick so close to our hoomans.
Thank heavens Foster Meowmy rescued me from a “free to good home” post on Next Door. My goodness, I shudder to think what would’ve happened if I’d gotten into the wrong hands – i.e. those of a black-magic occultist or a lab-animal experimenter. Ugh! I’ve been a welcome addition to my foster home in that I get along great with the foster kittens Patrick and Peter as well as the resident cats. I love to play chase with them all, especially “I tag you, now you’re it!” when they turn around and chase me. Sometimes I need a “time out,” and that’s when I climb to the highest spot on the cat tree so I can observe the shenanigans going on down below me.
Although it’s been mutually delightful for everyone since I’ve been in my foster home, Foster Meowmy is moving soon and can’t take me with her. I needed to find my forever home anyway. So I hope you’ll fall in love with my sleek, shiny patent-leather coat as well as my big green-olive eyes and arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Mikey #he-eats-anything
DOB 5/18/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out!
You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again.
Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. And boy howdy! I love to entertain my hoomans when we interactively play with feather wand-toys and laser pointers as well as when I play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice. I’d be a great kids’ playmate as long as they knew that I don’t like to be picked up.
Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Miles #front-desk-greeter
DOB 7/1/17
Hey there, everyone! I’m Miles, a sweet, friendly, playful Classic brown-tabby fella who loves everybody – hoomans, other kitties, as well as dogs. “Classic tabby” means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the typical mackerel tabby stripes, so I’m marked quite unusually and handsomely.
A Good Samaritan found me as a friendly stray with a cut on my ear at Oyster Creek Park in Sugar Land. Since I was very sociable and already neutered, it’s assumed that my family dumped me in the park in hopes that someone would rescue me. This is happening a lot in this inflationary economy because people can’t afford to care of their pets.
The Good Samaritan turned to HOPE for help, but since no foster meowmy was available, I was taken to a boarding kennel. The employees have fallen in love with me and bring me up to the front desk to greet the customers. All the noise, barking dogs, and general commotion don’t faze me a bit.
When a HOPE volunteer took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I'd been homeless, but I probably contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from another cat who attacked me.
I've admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I would appreciate a home where I’ll be safe and get lots of attention. I know there’s a home out there where I’ll be cherished for the sweet, playful, and easygoing fella that I am. A family with kids, another cat, or dog to play with would be an added bonus. Could that be with you?
Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Mimosa #marble-swirls
DOB 5/16/23
If you like the “high” you get from a Sunday-brunch mimosa, I’m the kitty for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mimosa, and I got my name because I’m such a sweet, amazing, friendly, and affectionate “feel-good” Classic-tabby bicolor kitten. "Classic tabby" means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel stripes. "Bicolor" means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. I also was named Mimosa because I'm as pretty as the tree's cotton-candy-like blooms. I'm really a stunning sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself!
I love attention, and I’m one of the few kitties who actually likes to be picked up by Foster Meowmy. At bedtime, I love scampering under the covers and then settling down to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy for the rest of the night.
I was crying for food when Foster Meowmy opened her front door one morning. She has a reputation for being a tenderhearted “cat lady,” so most likely I was dumped by a neighbor who had found me. Of course she brought me inside, where I fit in seamlessly with her other cats and small dogs.
The adult cats have ended up being my surrogate mommas who’ve taught me everything that my momma would’ve taught me if she were here. I also enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the older foster kittens. I’m very nimble at scurrying after the red-laser dot when Foster Meowmy bounces it around the room.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, which can have other friendly pets. Arrange to meet me today! If you take me home, next Sunday brunch you can have a Mimosa on me to celebrate!

Missy Longstocking #docile-lapcat
DOB 4/15/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m very, very sweet, friendly, and curious Missy Longstocking, a sleek, elegant harlequin gal with big jade-globe eyes and who’s mostly white with large patches of dark gray. Foster Meowmy named me “Longstocking” because I’m tall with graceful legs that look to be wearing gray stockings. Meowmy is amazed that I don’t have one ounce of “catitiude,” and I heard her exclaiming that I’m the most docile cat she’s ever met.
Although I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I happily curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We then enjoy prime-time together as she gently brushes me or offers me squeezable treats. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I adore interactive play as Foster Meowmy waves the fishing-wand toy over my head because I can show off my acrobatic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”
I have quite a dangerous backstory. A Good Samaritan was driving down Beltway 8 when she spotted me, partially inside a bag, as I huddled in the median. Thank heavens that she’s not scared of much, so she pulled over and quickly grabbed me as cars whizzed by. When we got home, she saw that I was a little bruised, nicked, and scraped as well as very traumatized but overall healthy and uninjured.
I tolerate the other cats in my foster home, but I definitely don’t love them. I haven’t been around kids, but I was fine around a small, polite dog. Since I’m friendly and well-adjusted, I might be very compatible with well-behaved children and cat-friendly dogs.
If you’re searching for a beautifully marked lady-long-legs who looks like a thoroughbred racehorse, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me so we can exchange warm cuddles and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young kitty like me who's past the mayhem of kitten craziness. I'll cause less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

Moji #happy-faces-on-wrist
DOB 9/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Moji, a sweet yet very playful pastel brown tabby gal with big round eyes set in my angelic face. My name is short for Emoji because I have very distinctive Happy Faces on both of my wrists. I clearly favor my Foster Daddy, and I absolutely love it when he scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin. Even though I’m the smallest of my litter and low to the ground, boy howdy, can I jump high when Foster Daddy waves the feather wand toy over my head!
The offspring of a feral momma, my litter of five was rescued from the mean streets of Houston by some Good Samaritans. I adore my foster home with all the indoor amenities like brimming food and water bowls, safety from predators, and climate control. The resident cats are fun to play with, and the big gentle Golden Retriever is a good nanny.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I can’t wait to meet you! You’ll be a lucky family to have a sweetheart friend like me to pet and play with. Just give me a chance to relax and adjust to my new “digs” as I need a little patience while I learn to trust you. Then "I"m yours!"

Moon Pie #a-candid-interview
DOB 3/25/24
We sat down with Moon Pie to see what his situation was and what kind of forever home he was looking for. Below are excerpts of that interview.
Us: Hello Moon Pie. What a cute name. Was there a reason you were named that?
MP: No, not especially. Think my finder Googled exceptionally unusual and cute cat names.
Us: Alright, so you mentioned someone found you. Can you tell us more?
MP: I was born to a stray cat who got kicked out of her home due to a teenage pregnancy. Me and my 2 sisters lived on the streets and had to fight to survive. That's why I tend to hiss at strange things before knowing if they are friend or foe.
Us: Where do you see yourself in a year from now?
MP: I hope I'm in a home surrounded by love with a bottomless bowl of food and lots of cuddles. I do actually purr when I'm picked up. I really am a nice kitty, just scared of the unknown.

Mothra #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Well hello everyone! I’m Mothra, a smart, gregarious, curious brown tabby "princess" with white tuxedo markings. I was named after a giant flying moth that was a popular "heroic" monster in horror films. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I’m a “talker” who chirps and trills for everyone when I greet them, and then I plop down to receive a good belly rub.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
During Tropical Storm Imelda, my brother Godzilla and I, the #monster-duo, were found as orphan kittens with no momma in sight. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with Godzilla so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, chatty princess who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Ms Ethel #high-octane
DOB 5/1/23
Ms Ethel was brought into HOPE when an elderly couple found her and her newborn babies in their backyard. Completely soaked and very hungry, the kitties needed immediate help. A foster stepped up and took in the forlorn family.
Fast forward months later, and all the kitties have been adopted with only momma cat left. Ms Ethel is a sweet mittened torbie. She still prefers not to be picked up but will come over to you for petting and snuggling. Ms Ethel is a stately kitty who is independent and can go hours on end without needing humans. She's simply a low-maintenance kind of gal.

Nala #brave-savior
DOB 11/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Nala, a sweet, calm, and playful orange tabby gal who cherishes being stroked and cooed over by Foster Meowmy. I love playing interactively when she waves the wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. I’m always eager to receive the treats she offers me.
I was less than eight months old when I birthed my one-and-only litter of six kittens. When my kits were about a month old, some really cruel person dumped all seven of us in the middle of the street. Since I was frantic for the safety of my babies, instinct told me to bring them to the shopping center to ask for help. Sure enough, a Good Samaritan rescued us and eventually got us to our foster home.
Now that my one calico and five orange tabbies are weaned, I’m permanently retired from being a doting momma and am ready for a new, stress-free life where I can exchange reciprocal devotion with my forever family. Since I’m barely more than a kitten myself, I’m learning to be quite the soccer striker by batting jingle-bell balls and catnip mice around the room. I’d love to show you how sweet, playful, and loving I am, so arrange to meet me today!

Niko #brother-of-Mia
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Niko, and I’m a sweet, affectionate, and cuddly medium-haired “smoke” fella with a white locket and super-soft fluffy fur. “Smoke” means that I have black fur with white roots. I love for Foster Meowmy to hold me, and I purr the instant that she picks me up. I’m in kitten heaven when she coos over me and strokes me gently, and I’ve been known to kiss her tears away.
My sister Mia and I showed up inside a wall at my Foster Meowmy’s townhouse complex, where I was trapped for five days. I’m the runt of the pair, so I can’t make the same big jumps that Mia can, but I still try anyway. Ah well, give me some time, and I bet that I’m bigger than Mia when we’re mature. One way I’m achieving that goal is by being very food-motivated. In fact, I’m interested in whatever Foster Meowmy is eating – and I’ll eat it, if she’s not looking.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Although we’re available separately, Mia and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. What a handsome bonded pair we’d make! Arrange to me [us] today!

Olivia #seeks-adventure
DOB 8/9/23
Meet Olivia, a lovely, playful kitty with a calm disposition. While she is very curious and seems to want to learn everything about her environment, she's beyond the destructive kitten stage. Give her an interactive toy, and she will play contentedly by herself or with other kitties.
Olivia was rescued from a backyard with her three siblings and enjoys the company of cats and dogs. Even though Olivia is independent, she seeks out human attention and cuddles. And when she's in your lap, her motor starts up, and she purrs non-stop. Olivia is looking for her next adventure and wants to share it with you.

With his curious nature, Oreo is always getting into the most adorable mischief, whether it’s chasing shadows or inspecting every nook and cranny. He may look like a snuggly little kitten, but don’t be fooled—this tuxedo troublemaker has plenty of energy and loves to keep you on your toes!

Oreo & Hershey #bonded-sibs
DOB 10/11/23
These two lovely kitties would be thrilled to find a home together. What's better than a barrel of monkeys? A house full of kitties. These well-behaved kittens do have a lot of energy, but are generally very gentle and non-destructive. Oreo, the female, is more affectionate than her brother, Hershey, since he has a one-track mind when he starts playing with his toys. We believe Hershey may be somewhat special-needs as he was developmentally slower than his sister. Both know how to use the litterbox though and will delight you with their charming ways.

Oreo 2 #tiny-tuxedo
DOB 4/17/24
Say hello to Oreo, a petite tuxedo kitty with a sweet and laid-back personality. Though she's small for her age, Oreo has a big love for snuggling and staying close to her favorite people. She's a bit playful but mostly enjoys being a cozy, lazy couch potato.

Otto #tuxedo-tabby
DOB 8/21/20
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Otto, and I’m a sweet though shy brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white locket and four white mittens? I’m very sweet with my foster meowmy as well as the other cats in my foster home. I love and trust my foster meowmy when she pets and holds me. I even allow her to clip my claws.
When I was about a month old, my foster meowmy found my three siblings and me in an old abandoned car. After she got us all vetted and vaccinated, I was supposed to be adopted with my sister Zelda. When I arrived at my new home, I was my typical shy self because I was scared, so I found a hidey hole. Unfortunately the family didn’t give me the chance to settle in and warm up to my new surroundings, so I immediately went back to my foster meowmy.
I’m looking for forever adopters who will be patient with me as I warm up and feel comfy in my new “digs.” Ideally they will want to adopt me with one of my foster playmates like Squeeken whom I know well. Nothing like the moral support of a buddy to build my confidence in new situations!
Arrange to meet me today! There are advantages in adopting a cat who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'd be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Ozzy #sugar-and-spice
DOB: 5/14/24
Meooooow! My name is Ozzy, and I’m quite a sweetheart, if I do say so myself. I’m a friendly, affectionate, cuddly yet playful Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat. As a Velcro kitty who enjoys being close to Foster Meowmy, when I get really comfy, I lay on my back as if I were doing a big stretch. Although I’m an energetic kitten, I do love my cat naps, and that's when I snuggle right next to Foster Meowmy’s thigh. I’m also a “mega-foodie” who’s only “high-maintenance” when my internal dinner bell rings and it’s time for my next scrumptious meal.
I was a frightened orphan who was found in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood with no momma or siblings in sight. Thankfully she brought me indoors, where I joined another foster kitten Pebbles, who was almost exactly my age and became my “bestie” as well as my surrogate sister. Tumbling and pouncing, wrestling and climbing with Pebbles helped me burn my kitten energy.
I immediately bonded with my Foster Meowmy since she was the dispenser of yummy food. It took me about two weeks to trust the five resident cats, who became my surrogate aunts and uncles and taught me all the manners that momma would have if she'd been around. After a month I got acquainted with the two large resident cat-friendly dogs because I had to be convinced that they weren't predators. Thankfully the pooches are calm and gentle because sudden, chaotic movements may startle me, which hearkens back to my hardscrabble days when I had to fend for myself outdoors.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be cozy with my cherished hoomans and have at least one feline friend to be my playmate. Could that be with you and yours? I hope that my handsome photos and my endearing purrsonality have stolen your heart so that I can become YOUR sweetheart.

Parker #chirps-when-contented
DOB 4/1/21
Hey there, everyone! I’m Parker, a sweet, easygoing tuxedo gal with pretty green eyes and high go-go boots who chirps to let Foster Meowmy know how contented I am. Although I’m not one to jump into her lap, once she puts me there, I luxuriate and purr blissfully until I fall asleep.
I was a homeless stray until I found the perfect home to bring my kittens. Foster Meowmy thought I was feral until I refused to leave her house! It turns out that I love the indoor life. Now that my kittens are weaned, I’m permanently retired from being a doting momma.
I truly enjoy relaxing in any comfy spot that I can find around the house, and I’m happy to share your favorite chair with you. I’m independent enough that I don’t demand too much attention, but I thrive anytime I get it. You see, I share my foster home with four resident cats, and although I get along okay with them, I’d love a forever home where there’s more space for me to relax and less competition for Foster Meowmy’s attention. One kitty would be perfect, but four is just too many for my taste.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. I can’t wait to find out, like Goldilocks, that your favorite chair is not too hard, not too soft, but just right! Remember, "chairing" is caring.

Patrick #feline-angel
DOB 4/15/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Patrick, a sweet, gentle, affectionate, and easy-going grey tabby fella who soaks up all the attention that Foster Meowmy can dish out. I’m a cuddly lap kitten who luxuriates when she strokes, brushes, and coos over me. (I’m a special favorite of hers.) But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play soccer with my squeaky mouse as well as play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head so I can bat at it.
My two sisters, Roxie and Moxie, and I were rescued by a Good Samaritan after our momma was killed by street dogs. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy responded to the FaceBook posting and stepped up to the plate to offer us her home and help to get us adopted. I immediately fit into my new digs and socialized well with the resident cats. Actually, I'm quite refreshing to be around since I’m quiet, well-behaved, and undemanding. I’m intuitive that Foster Meowmy is a very busy lady who’s juggling the care of multiple cats, so I’m probably her favorite because I’m not a troublemaker like some kittens can be.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I can guarantee that I’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Pawdrey Hepburn #sister-of-Lipstick
DOB 3/5/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Pawdrey Hepburn, a brown-tabby beauty with tufted ears who’s as spunky as I am sweet. Since I’m curious and confident, I like to keep tabs on Foster Meowmy by following her from room to room. I brighten her day by exchanging nose kisses and chirping while I play.
I inherited my sweet demeanor from my feline momma Bonita, who was found in Alief as a pregnant teenager. Fortunately she was rescued in time to deliver my litter of three in the safety of foster care. I’ve been handled by Foster Meowmy since I was one day old, which explains why I’m so very sociable and trusting with every hooman I meet. I’m so easy-going that even nail clipping is a breeze with me.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I love to climb and explore, so my forever home needs to be a place where I have the freedom to adventure and romp around. It would be great if my new home has kids, dogs, and other cats, as long as the four-legged critters and I are slowly introduced. What’d be the cat’s meow is if I could be adopted with my sister Lipstick. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Peppa #loves-to-be-held
DOB 7/16/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Peppa, a sweet, loving, easy-going tuxedo gal who has an adorable black button nose. Foster Meowmy testifies that I am a wonderful lap kitty and bed buddy. When I want Meowmy to pick me up, I gently tap my paw on her leg as if to say, “Here I am! Take me into your arms and love me.”
Foster Meowmy found me as a 6-week-old orphan on the premises of a security company in northwest Houston and brought me home. I get along great with the other resident kitties as well as the cat-friendly dogs here. I’m a playful gal who loves to chase the red laser dot that Foster Meowmy bounces around the room.
However, scurrying after the frisky red dot has not always been a piece of cake for me. Out of the clear blue sky, I was challenged with mobility issues starting about a week after my spay surgery. Foster Meowmy was horrified to see me suddenly not be able to support the weight in my back legs, although that didn’t stop me from "walking on my elbows" the best I could, which was nevertheless at quite a fast clip. “My goodness,” heartbroken Foster Meowmy thought, “Peppa is just a 5-month-old kitten!”
For three months, Foster Meowmy did her due diligence and took me to several vets, but it wasn’t until she finally took me to a pain-management vet specialist in The Woodlands that she found someone who could treat me successfully and non-surgically. He diagnosed inflammation in both of my rear elbow joints from either a congenital or traumatic injury.
God bless him because he relieved my pain and inflammation with cortisone and joint lubricant injections in both my back legs and started me on a regimen of monthly Adequan injections. It wasn’t long before – voila - I was playing and running around as if nothing had ever been wrong! What a miracle, thanks to HOPE’s Emergency Medical fund, collected from sales of the annual HOPE cat calendar!
The good news is that with long-term arthritic management, I should be able to live a basically normal life. My only ongoing treatment is for Foster Meowmy to give me monthly Adequan injections. So, although I’m considered a “special-needs” kitty, my chronic mobility problems have responded splendidly to injections and are easily controlled. Aren’t you happy that I need no daily PILLS???
I hope that my technically being a special-needs kitty has not quashed your interest in having me plop myself in your lap or snuggle next to you in bed. I’d do fine as either a solo kitty or companion to your resident dog or cat. Also consider adopting me with one of my feline playmates with whom I’m already bonded. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Perseus #expert-snuggler
DOB 6/24/23
Perseus may have exaggerated a little when filling out his online bio. He was just trying to get more people to swipe right. His brother Achilles was getting all the inquiries, and he was feeling a little left out.
This sad guy is not the most outgoing or the fluffiest, but he has a heart of gold and a fragile ego. Perseus is a first-rate snuggler, and he comes alive when BirdTV is turned on. Are you willing to give this underdog a chance?

Peter #loves-to-be-held
DOB 6/7/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Peter, a sweet, friendly, outgoing, and affectionate “bicolor” fella who loves to cuddle and be held. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I relish playing interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy enticingly over my head. I’m quite the soccer striker as I bat my squeaky mouse all around the house. Although I’m an absolute angel, my halo can get a little askew because I have a mischievous side to me too. I’m very vocal and “high maintenance” when my dinner bell rings.
When I was just a wee kitten, Foster Meowmy encountered me outside her home with no momma or siblings in sight. Thank heavens she brought me inside to join a litter of kittens who were seven weeks older than I was as well as several other adult kitties. So, even though I’m an orphan, I’ve had a whole surrogate family! I’ve had a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the kittens, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. The adults became my aunts and uncles who’ve taught me the manners my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. And since I’ve been handled by hoomans since I was a little tyke, I’m very sociable, easy-going, and trusting around people.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today because I have so much love to give -- all I need is YOU! Consider adopting me with my “bestie” playmate and cuddle mate Patrick. Two is more fun than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Puddles #rain-kitty
DOB 4/24/24
This is Puddles, a handsome grey tabby with a story as unique as his name. Found in a puddle during a rainstorm, this shy little guy has a gentle and cautious nature. Puddles may take some time to warm up, but with patience and love, his sweet personality begins to shine through.
Puddles' striking grey stripes and soulful eyes tell a tale of resilience, and he's looking for a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe and loved. If you're searching for a quiet, endearing companion who just needs a little extra time to trust, Puddles is the perfect match.

Purscilla #sister-of-Catalina
DOB 4/10/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Purscilla, an adorable, snuggly, playful white little girl with golden eyes. I love to spend quality time with my hoomans, whether it’s while we’re binging on Neflix and Animal Planet, sleeping together, or while I’m watching their computer work. I tend to be quiet and not meow a lot, but when I do, it’s the sweetest little “mew” you’ve ever heard.
My favorite toys are Foster Meowmy’s hair bands. I can spend hours playing soccer with them as I scamper all around the room. I can’t seem to get enough of them, so I’m hoping that Foster Meowmy will spoil me and buy me my very own package.
My feral momma Clawdia chose to birth my sister Catalina and me in the safety of the patio of an apartment unit that had been vacant for a long time. Was it a mere coincidence that our future Foster Meowmy moved in one or two days later? She’s quite a cat advocate, so thankfully she scooped up newborn Catalina and me as well as trapped Momma in order to bring us all inside to safety.
If you’re looking for a beautiful pure white kitty who loves to cuddle, I’m the gal for you! I hope that my being a “special-needs” kitty will not scare you off; in fact, perhaps you’re one of those benevolent souls who actually seeks out a "special" kitty whom others might pass over. All the more reason for me to love you!
Although we’re available separately, Catalina and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together. Two’s more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me [us] today!

Roo #young-&-energetic
DOB 4/1/24
Puff balls and soft mice, cuddle time and playtime, treats and head rubs -- all these are Roo's favorite things. Being a natural born athlete, Roo is full of energy and loves scaling tall cat trees or staircases.
Roo makes friends easily with other pets but needs patience to earn her trust. Investing time to interact with her and giving her positive reinforcement will pay off tenfold. Roo would make a great work-from-home companion.

Snow #spunky-four
DOB 2/14/24
Hey there, everyone! I'm Snow, a sweet, cuddly, and playful green-eyed “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my face, back, and tail. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy, but I also cherish time spent with all my hooman friends, especially when they play interactively with me or give me treats. Sometimes I’m a brave adventurer when I explore all the nooks and crannies in my foster home.
Foster Meowmy rescued the #spunky-four (a.k.a.me and my three siblings Tom, Luna, and Kisa) as orphans in her neighborhood. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
I believe in magic, the magic of love and companionship. I'm ready to sprinkle that magic into your life. Adopt me, and together we'll write our own magical story. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Spaghetti #bestie-of-Tater-Tot
DOB 3/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Spaghetti, and I’m a super-sweet, friendly, energetic, and playful gray tabby bicolor fella. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. I’m an amiable guy who’s a volunteer favorite. When Foster Meowmy enters the foster room, I rush to meet her because I know she’ll give me my Churu treat. I enjoy interactive play with her when she waves the flying turkey-feather wand toy over my head.
As a two-month-old kitten, I was dropped over the fence at a Missouri City business, and the employees asked HOPE to help me find my forever home. I was adopted at my first adoption event by a nice family who was looking for a companion for their resident cat. I felt like I was in heaven because I slept every night with their 10 year-old son.
With my typical kitten energy, I wanted to play with the resident cat like I did with the other foster kittens, but unfortunately, she wanted no part of it. To put it bluntly, the cat they adopted me to play with didn’t want to play. So I was devastated when the family returned me for being more active than they had in mind. (What do you expect when you adopt a kitten, for Pete’s sake?)
Fortunately I returned to my foster home to rejoin the younger male kittens who wanted to play with me as much I wanted to. So we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle to our hearts’ content, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse for a quick cat nap. I particularly like hiding in the kitty tunnel with my look-alike foster brother Tater Tot.
Now that my hurt feelings are forgotten, I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today! If you’re considering adopting a pair of kittens, let me suggest my younger foster playmate Tater Tot. Since there’s two months difference in our ages, we don’t look much like brothers now, but as we mature, we’ll fool people about being identical twins since we’re both handsome grey tabby bicolor dudes. Together we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Spotty #sister-of-Juniper
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Spotty, a curious, cute, and crafty tortoiseshell “ninja” with a striking orange nose-blaze whose name was inspired by the Star Trek catchphrase “Beam me up, Spotty.” I’m not as shy as I was initially, and I’ve come to just love cuddling with Foster Meowmy. I’m like the Chatty Cathy doll because I have no trouble chirping and trilling for everyone.
Foster Meowmy found Momma and my #spring-shower-litter in her yard one stormy spring day. My brother Ollie as well as my sisters, Minnie, Juniper, and Angel, and I were just a few weeks old, so thank heavens Meowmy brought us safely inside to join the friendly resident cats. My foster home is calm and quiet without kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the other kitties, but I'm apprehensive about the elderly Maltipoo.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home, and if you’re looking for a shy but chatty ninja, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Please consider adopting me with Juniper so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Squeeken #bonded-to-Abigail
DOB 5/3/19
Hey there everyone! I’m Squeeken, and I’m a sweet, beautiful tuxedo gal with tall white boots like a go-go dancer and a large white vest and black face like a penguin. I’m really quite uniquely marked. Foster Meowmy found me as a friendly adult stray kitty in her neighborhood and was sweet enough to rescue me and bring me home to foster.
I didn’t pay much attention to the other foster kitties here until a 10-week-old tuxedo kitten showed up on Foster Meowmy’s front porch. When she brought this little girl inside, I claimed Lil’ Orphan Abby as my baby because she needed my mothering. So now Abigail and I play together, and I groom and teach this little tyke all the manners that her momma would’ve taught her if she’d been around.
Since Abigail is very attached to me, Foster Meowmy is insisting that we're adopted together. We agree that it'd be the cat's meow because two is more fun than one, especially when we look like a tuxedo mother/daughter duo. We can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation as well. Arrange to meet us today! Count on a double set of little paw prints all over your heart!

Squeekers #bonded-to-Felix
DOB 4/2/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Squeekers, and I’m a rather quiet and shy tortie gal with green "olive" eyes who was living very happily with my “bestie” Felix in a home where we were really cherished. I was very playful and like to jump. Unfortunately our hooman had some financial setbacks in this inflationary economy. When she learned that she was going to be evicted, Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and offered to foster her darlings [us] until HOPE could find us a wonderful new home. Foster Meowmy is insisting that Felix and I be adopted together as a bonded pair in an effort to mitigate the upheaval we’ve already experienced.
My world has been turned upside down since we moved into our foster home. I spend a lot of time hiding and come out to cuddle with Foster Meowmy and to hang out with Felix. I’m a little intimidated by the other cats in my foster home, and I want to make sure that they won’t chase me or be aggressive with me.
If you’ve got a medium to quiet home, Felix and I are the pair for you. Arrange to meet us today!

Sweetie Pie #purrs-sweet-nothings
DOB 2/24/15
Hey there, everyone! My name is Sweetie Pie, and you can imagine how I got my moniker: I’m a sweet, quiet, loving “torbie” gal with big green eyes. “Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with random patches of orange that look like I’ve gotten sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory.
My favorite spot is on Foster Meowmy’s lap because I luxuriate when she gently strokes my ears, cheeks, and chin. When she coos over how darling I am, I turn on my rumbling purr motor. At first we exchanged lengthy forehead-to-forehead nudging, but once I started trusting her even more, we started rubbing our noses, i.e. we Eskimo kissed. Surprisingly, being held brings me great joy, and when I was at the vet recently, I hugged one of the vet techs and purred sweet nothings in her ear when she snuggled me to her chest.
I’m a playful girl who enjoys carrying tiny stuffed animals around, dropping them by my food bowl, and then carrying them back to my bed so I can snuggle with them. My favorite interactive play with Foster Meowmy is when she makes my plush toys become puppets. In my pensive moments, I like to hang out in my kitty cubbyhole and look out the window as the world walks, scampers, or flies by. I’m fine alone while Foster Meowmy’s at work as long as she greets me by gently touching my head before my meals. Believe it or not, my favorite treat is malt-flavored kitty toothpaste.
I had been an outdoor stray who hung out on three porches at Foster Meowmy’s apartment complex for a few years. Two neutered male kitties protected me from other unfriendly cats at the community feeding station. The neighbors called me “Scaredy Cat” because I ran away when anyone got too close. Everyone assumed that I was an unsocialized feral cat, but when a HOPE volunteer trapped me, the vet discovered that I was already spayed; so my ear was notched, and I was released back outside.
But then I experienced a blessing in disguise: I injured my leg around Thanksgiving. So Foster Meowmy brought me inside to recover (it's now 100%) and ended up keeping me inside because of the freezing winter weather. Well, I made a miraculous transformation once I was inside and proved that I had probably been someone’s pet in the past who unfortunately was abandoned or had gotten lost. It took being safely inside again for my sweet disposition to shine and to enamor all my hoomans, including the vet staff!
I’m ready to find my forever home now! Foster Meowmy thinks I’d be perfect for anyone who’s looking for a quiet lap-companion to binge on Animal Planet or Netflix with them. This could be retirees, adults, or even well-behaved children. I need to be an only pet-child because I’m scared of dogs and cats from my hardscrabble days of fending for myself. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a mature kitty who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

T'Challa #black-panther-prince
DOB 10/1/22
Are you a fan of T’Challa, the fictional African prince who's called Black Panther in Marvel comics? Then you'll understand why Foster Meowmy gave me such an unusual moniker – I’m a sleek, strong, and handsome mini-black panther who looks to be a Bombay mix fella with my shiny patent-leather coat and big globe eyes.
I’m a sweet boy who loves the Eskimo kisses Foster Meowmy showers on me when she picks me up. Although I’m not a lap cat per se, I am a Velcro cat who likes to stick close to her. I prefer to position myself right next to her when she’s lying in bed or sitting on the sofa, and I'll follow her into the bathroom if she allows me.
I’m a smart fella who, like many Bombays, is very dog-like. I've learned to "sit" as well as to give “high fives.” Plus I’m a playful athlete who loves to play fetch. I scamper off to grab whatever toy Foster Meowmy tosses for me and even sometimes bring it back!
I showed up as a stray at Foster Meowmy’s house, and when her family showed me some love and attention, I decided to hang out permanently – rain or shine -- on their front porch. So they decided that I was someone’s misplaced pet who needed to be brought inside. I adjusted easily to the indoor life and play very well with the six resident cats.
Although I’m contented with my foster family, I realize that it’s time for me to find a loving forever home of my very own. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me today! I have so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty who's past the mayhem of kittenhood. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Tadpole #the-T-cats
DOB 5/10/23
This is Tadpole, an entertaining black kitty who, along with his five siblings, was rescued with his momma Tori from a country house next to a dumping ground in Cleveland, TX. He's quite a character and can usually be found looking for his next adventure.
Tadpole gets along great with other kitties and is very playful. This guy is very outgoing and self assured. He will be a great addition to a home with other kitties to play with or toys to master. Meet Tadpole and fall in love.

Tango #bestie-of-Little-Bobbie
DOB 4/7/22
Howdy everyone! I’m Tango, a loving and mellow yet funny and lively red tabby fella with a warm personality and a great sense of humor. Foster Meowmy describes me as “the most wonderful of kittens who deserves an A+ home.”
Next to a pile of debris in the Lindale area, I was found in the street as an orphan with no momma in sight. I fit right into my foster home along with several other rescued kittens who were my same age. I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
The three resident cats acted as my surrogate aunts and uncles who taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I also get along great with the two big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove.
Arrange to meet me today! You'll fall in love with me the second you meet me. I'm all ready to settle into my A+ new home! Although we’re available separately, my foster mate Little Bobbie and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. I’d be happy to give you an extra kiss because we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tater Tot #bestie-of-Spaghetti
DOB 4/29/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m Tater Tot, a sweet, handsome, playful bicolor silver Classic tabby fella. "Silver Classic tabby" means that I have bold black marble swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel tabby stripes. "Bicolor" means that I’m mostly white with silver tabby on my head, back, and tail. I adore running through cat tunnels as well as swatting at the wand toys that Foster Meowmy waves over my head.
When I was about seven weeks old, I followed my feral momma down a driveway to my future foster meowmy’s community-cat feeding station because we were both hungry. While Momma got TNR’d, I was scooped up and brought inside since I was young enough to be socialized to hoomans. Boy howdy! I’m glad that I don’t have to live paw-to-mouth anymore, and I really appreciate the brimming food and water bowls and indoor climate control.
I have a ball tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my foster mates, Meatball and Matcha, who are close enough in age to me to be my surrogate siblings. I also enjoy hiding in the kitty tunnel with my look-alike foster brother Spaghetti. I’m all boy and was jumping on them a few hours after my neuter surgery. I had been a little shy initially with hoomans, so it's helped that my foster mates showed me that hoomans can be trusted.
Now I’m ready to be adopted, so please arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. If you’re considering adopting a pair of kittens, let me suggest my older foster playmate Spaghetti. Since there’s two months difference in our ages, we don’t look much like brothers now, but as we mature, we’ll probably fool people about being identical twins since we’re both handsome grey tabby bicolor dudes. Together we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Taylor #loves-nose-kisses
DOB 8/9/23
Oh woe is me . . . I'm no longer a small, highly desirable kitten . . . one that people fawn over and seek out. I was adopted in March and returned three months later because my new owner didn't expect cats to have fur that might shed. Not that I shed much, but she had some highly unusual expectations.
I'm calm, cuddly and playful. I love attention from humans. In fact, I have been known to jump on the cat tree to get someone's attention and then allow them to kiss me on my nose. Nose kisses or crunchy treats just make my day!
Do you need a super-special, docile kitty to share your home with? My name is spelled T-A-Y-L-O-R. Come to see me swiftly.

Tom Sandoval #plays-iPad-games
DOB 4/15/23
If you think the actor Tom Sandoval looks like a hunk dressed in black, you should see me! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tom Sandoval’s namesake, an affectionate, saucy, friendly black DSH/Bombay mix kitten with a sleek, shiny coat. I can be quite the snuggly Siesta King who loves to curl up in bed with either Foster Meowmy or my sister Maddox, with whom I'm very bonded. I soak up any attention that Foster Meowmy gives me, especially when she’s dispensing Temptation treats.
I’m a playful guy who loves to play soccer with toy mice as well as engage with iPad games. And of course I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my three sisters, Maddox, Lala, and Katie. I can also entertain myself by scaling the cat tower and playing with its dangling toys.
When my Foster Meowmy was walking on her driveway one day, she spotted my feral momma and my litter of four under the house of her next door neighbor. She trapped, spayed, and released Momma but brought us kittens inside to socialize us. We fit in beautifully with her other pets, and now that we're ready to be adopted, she promises to find us all fantastic homes.
If you’re looking for a handsome, gentle, easy-going fella who gets along with other cats and small dogs, arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of my sisters so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Valentino #feline-heart-throb
DOB 5/1/21
Hey there, everyone! I’m Valentino, a sweet, easygoing, extra-large harlequin cat. “Harlequin” means that I’m mostly white with a few large orange-tabby patches on my head and back. I got my name because, like the famous 1920’s actor, “the Latin Lover” Rudy Valentino, I’m a real sex symbol for the ladies – both 2-legged and 4-legged.
I’ve taken quite a shine to my Foster Meowmy, and vice versa, because she shares her lap with me. I love it when she scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears, and we enjoy hanging out together. This could include binging on Animal Planet and Netflix or cuddling in her arms. I may be extra large, but that just means that I’ve got more for her to hug. Thanks to Foster Meowmy's discipline, I'm making progress as I've already trimmed down two pounds to weigh in at 17 1/2 pounds!
I guess you’re wondering why a handsome gentle giant like me needs a new home. Well, my former caretaker loaded me up in my carrier and abandoned me at the Arthur Storey Park off the Beltway 8. I guess the idea was that someone would feel sorry for me without food and water and take me in. Fortunately -- you guessed it -- a Good Samaritan rescued me and contacted HOPE. Thank heavens my foster meowmy stepped up to the plate, and now I’ve got all the food, water, and TLC imaginable.
Although I’m happy in my foster home and get along great with the resident kitties, I know what’s best for me is to have a forever home of my very own. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet my sweet self, but be prepared for me to leave my big paw prints all over your heart. I have so much love to give -- all I need is YOU! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting an adult cat like me who’s long past the mayhem of kittenhood. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Zephyr #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Zephyr, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and just a few pale smudges of gray on my shoulders.
My brothers, Banksy and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Donti. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling with each other.

Zoe #golden-globe-eyes
DOB 3/8/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Zoe, a gentle, affectionate, easygoing, and friendly Russian Blue mix gal with big golden-globe eyes. I’m sweet and playful, although I can be shy as it takes sensitive Russian Blue mixes longer than most cats to adjust to their new environment and new people. You see, I showed up as a friendly stray in my future foster meowmy’s yard, and after befriending me with yummy food, she eventually coaxed me inside. That’s when she realized that I was pregnant, and I delivered my litter of five kits a month later. Thank heavens my kits are now weaned, and I’m now permanently retired from being a doting momma.
I’m enjoying all the luxuries of indoor life – brimming food and water bowls as well as climate control and safety from predators. I pretend that I only tolerate Foster Meowmy’s hugs, kisses, coos, and cuddles, but I actually appreciate her affection and attention after living paw-to-mouth for so long. I also enjoy playing soccer with catnip mice and pom-pom balls, and I’m so enthusiastic with my excellent scratching-post-manners that I make the cardboard scratcher into a toy! Scaling the cat tree for a bird’s-eye-view of activity below is my favorite pastime. You see, I can get a little hissy with the resident cats, and I like the psychic distance that the height of the cat tree affords.
If you’re looking for a chatty, well-behaved, and elegant feline who’s gentle, clean, and loyal, I’m the Russian Blue mix gal for you! By the way, the Russian Blue mix is one of the most intelligent cats on the planet! So arrange to meet me today! Let’s begin writing a new chapter in our lives together!
