All Adoptable Cats
Our cat adoption fee is $100
(Mr.) Noel #lap-kitty-bed-buddy
DOB 7/12/21
Are you looking for a uniquely marked tabby kitty who has small cheetah-like spots on his sides instead of the typical tabby stripes? Well I’m the man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Noel, your perfect feline companion! I'm a very friendly, affectionate, loving, easygoing, and active cream-colored “spotted” tabby fella.
My foster mom calls me her favorite "lap cat" and her "bed buddy" because I love to snuggle. She rescued me as a baby who needed to be bottle-fed, so I love being carried around. I live with cats and dogs, so I get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
Why am I a "special needs" kitty? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, a rare, relatively harmless disorder that causes my body to make too much urine. It’s easily controlled with daily eye drops. However, I will need an experienced owner who can give me my drops every day and monitor my drinking as well as...um...my “output” in case the dosage needs to be adjusted by the vet. Easy peasy!
No reason for you to pass me by since I’m such a lovable and loving spotted guy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give that all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 21-0814-A050
If you are interested in (Mr.) Noel and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net, and a volunteer will get back to you.
Achilles #karate-guy
DOB 6/24/23
Meet Achilles, a typical tuxedo boy who will drive you crazy with his antics and make you fall in love at the same time. While his personality doesn't show well initially, give this ninja cat time to adjust, and he will show you some slick moves. Achilles has been described as a bulldozer, a karate boy, a snuggler...you just need to take this guy home to decide for yourself. Achilles might just steal your heart
HOPE ID 24-0124-G018
If you are interested in Achilles and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Aleve #pain-reliever-kitty
DOB 4/7/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Aleve, one of the #pain-reliever-kittens. I'm a sweet, friendly, cuddly, loving black DSH/Bombay mix fella who loves hanging out with people and requires quality lap time with them. But if I get scared, boy howdy, do I get fluffy! I can be Foster Meowmy’s second shadow and often follow her wherever she’s going.
I’m somewhat of a couch potato because I love my naps. My favorite place, other than my hooman’s lap, is sunbathing in a patch of warm sunshine on the window sill. Like the 1959 movie title, “Some Like It Hot,” I’m just one of those kitties who thrives when the thermostat is turned up! I certainly help my foster family comply with ERCOT’s requests to conserve energy in the summer! And in the winter I'll want to snuggle up to your body's warmth.
My siblings and I were found under the house of my foster meowmy's neighbor. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster us until we could be adopted. I’m learning to play soccer with ball toys, which is a fun new thing for me. I’m still figuring out how to skitter and scramble around to break my reputation of being a sluggish sloth.
I'm actively looking for the perfect venue for a nice snooze. Could that be your lap? Arrange to meet me! I have so much love to give -- all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 23-0519-G125
If you are interested in Aleve and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Alice #sister-of-Tris
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings.
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat.
Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with my sister Tris. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Angel #loving-uncle
DOB 10/31/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Angel, a.k.a. Uncle Angel to the younger foster kittens because I’m so nurturing and protective. I’m a sweet, quiet, and affectionate solid-gray Russian Blue/Chartreux mix fella with big round copper-penny eyes who adores my foster meowmy and shows my affection by cuddling with her or perching on her shoulder.
I’m a playful fella who enjoys romping with the other foster cats and kittens, and I’m an enthusiastic fan of wand toys like Da Bird. I also like to keep a watchful eye that the older kittens behave and don’t play too rough with little Janie. The top of the cat tree is my favorite vantage for me to rule as king of my domain!
My hooman surrendered me to the vet for euthanasia because I had really unsightly skin lesions on my chest and tummy. Fortunately the vet diagnosed that I did not have cancer but severe flea allergies. The vet turned to my future Foster Meowmy to ask if she could find me a new home, and she stepped up to the plate like a champ.
I’m pleased to report that after several months of being on Bravecto 3-month flea preventative and ZD prescription food, my skin is completely clear. I’m back to my stunningly handsome Russian Blue self again! True confessions: for the rest of my life I’ll likely have to eat prescription ZD food and promptly receive my flea preventative in order to prevent my skin allergy from raising its ugly head again.
Arrange to meet me today! I’m hoping that once you see my sweet face and experience my gentle demeanor, you’ll overlook my possible special-food needs and take me home with you. Your reward will be my sincere gratitude as well as a lifetime of love and cuddles.

Angel #spring-shower-litter
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Angel, a sweet, gentle, and beautiful torbie gal who got my name because of my calm and celestial demeanor. “Torbie” means that I’m mostly a tawny-brown tabby with strong pale orange streaks. I’m really quite unusual and striking eye candy, if I do say so myself. I’m a friendly lass who loves to greet people by rubbing my pheromones on them!
Foster Meowmy found Momma, my sisters Minnie, Spotty, and Juniper, and me in her yard one stormy May day. Thank heavens she brought us inside and promised to find us fantastic forever homes through HOPE. My foster home is calm and quiet without dogs or kids, but I can be very energetic at times, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the friendly resident kitties.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home that I was promised, and if you’re looking for a sweet and gentle kitty cherub, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Please consider adopting me with one of my sisters in the #spring-shower-litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Aster #a-cat-for-all-seasons
DOB 2/20/23
Just like Aster flowers that continue to grow and bloom again year after year, Aster continues to grow from a little kitten found on the streets to a handsome tabby boy. And he shines brightly when in the right nurturing, happy environment. He loves sunbeams where he sits up tall and straight and relaxes when the sun goes down. Bring Aster home and bring home some love.

Axl Rose #dark-n-shady-six
DOB 4/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Axl Rose, a sweet, affectionate, and outgoing black DSH/Bombay mix fella who was named after the hard-rock American lead singer of Guns N’ Roses. I have a sleek, shiny coat and am distinguished from my twin black brothers by my heart-shaped face and my gravelly voice. I’m gentle and will patiently wait for Foster Meowmy’s lap to be available for cuddling. When she’s busy, I snuggle with my twin brother Noto, with whom I’m especially bonded.
I’m an energetic young fellow who especially likes to display my athletic prowess as I lunge and leap when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head. Plus I’m actually very polite about sharing the wand toy with my siblings. And of course, I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my four brothers. (Sister Cali doesn’t like to rough-house with the gang.) I prefer a quiet home because I often am skittish when I hear sudden noises.
I was born to a feral momma whom Foster Meowmy eventually trapped, spayed, and returned to her neighborhood. When we were ready to be weaned, Foster Meowmy snapped up my #dark-n-shady-six litter and brought us inside to safety and to socialize us for our future fantastic homes. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with my twin brother Noto. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Bagheera #brother-of-Mowgli
DOB 9/10/22
Looking for a bedfellow? One who won't take all the blankets or infringe on your personal space? Bagheera, which is Hindi for "panther," may be the guy for you. He's extremely shy and will take time to adjust to your home, but once he does, he'll be your constant companion. He won't ask for much but will want to be with you and occasionally sit in your lap. His second favorite place to rest is on an ottoman or in a cardboard box.
Are you a patient, caring person? Bagheera would love to meet you.
HOPE ID 23-0319-G042

Bagheera & Mowgli #jungle-book-boys
DOB 9/10/22
Did you watch Disney’s “The Jungle Book” and fall in love with Bagheera, the black panther, and Mowgli, the orphan boy whom Bagheera mentors? Well, we’re bonded brothers who are the feline versions of these storybook friends, and we’d just love to make our home with you! We’re sweet, affectionate, initially shy black DSH/Bombay mix fellas with sleek, shiny patent-leather coats and big copper-penny eyes. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick close to our hoomans, and we’re both no exception.
When we were orphaned kittens about six months old, our foster meowmy rescued us from dumpster-diving at the Jusgo/Sugar Land grocery store. We were so happy to kiss our hardscrabble life behind! Once we adjusted to brimming food bowls, clean water, soft beds, and other amenities of indoor life, Foster Meowmy became our hero and constant companion.
Bagheera says, “I was extremely shy at first, but she gave me time to adjust. Now I sleep with her, occasionally jump in her lap, and always want to be close to her. I love to rest on the adjacent ottoman or an empty cardboard box.”
Mowgli says, “I don’t necessarily like to be picked up, but I'll jump on Foster Meowmy’s lap so she can scratch my ears, chin, and cheeks. Foster Meowmy calls me her ‘shadow cat’ because I follow her from room to room since I just like to be with her. I’m a playful dude who loves any and all cat toys. In fact, I can turn anything into a toy -- a paper bag, a cardboard box, paper-wad, or a bottle cap. You get the idea."
Now we’re ready to find our forever home. We clam up at HOPE adoption days because of all the noise and chaos, so we might not show our ideal personalities until we came to your home on a sleepover/trial adoption. Foster Meowmy realizes that we are very bonded and therefore thinks that we'd do best if adopted together, and HOPE will reduce our adoption fee if we go as a bonded pair. That’s best anyway because we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you can be as tender, patient, and caring as our foster meowmy has been in allowing us to settle in and warm up to our new surroundings, we’re the fellas for you! We’re low-maintenance, don’t demand a lot, but give so much in return. Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

Banksy #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Banksy, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for a black semi-colon between my ears. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince!
My brothers, Zephyr and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park.
And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with both of my brothers or momma Clara so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Barbie #New-Years-Day-kitty
DOB 1/1/17
Hi there! I’m Barbie, an affectionate, sweet-faced bicolor tabby gal who’s mostly white with silver tabby on my head, torso, and tail. I’m an outgoing, spunky, but opinionated little lady who absolutely loves to cuddle in my foster meowmy’s lap.
I’m a playful girl whose favorite things are kitty tunnels, boxes, and toy mice. When I need a "time out" after playing or from my housemates, I prefer to bask in sunbeams on the windowsill or curl up on top of the refrigerator.
I get along pretty well with other foster kitties and would do well in a household with a laid-back cat or dog but probably not with small children. Arrange to meet me today!
HOPE ID 20-0501-G004

Bas #loves-dogs-and cats
DOB 4/11/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bas, a happy, sweet-natured, very playful tawny “tuxedo” tabby with white mittens and vest. I snuggle up beside Foster Meowmy so we can binge together on Animal Planet or Netflix. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play soccer with foam balls, sparkly puffs, and cat spring toys. I’m quite dog-like in that I actually play fetch with the toys Foster Meowmy throws, and sometimes I even bring them back.
I was found as an orphan stray, but thankfully HOPE stepped in to find me a forever home. I fit in immediately to the dynamics of my foster home, so I get along great with the resident dogs and lead the other cats during our playtimes. (Somebody’s got to coach them!) During my quieter moments, I like to bask in a patch of warm sunshine and observe everything that walks, scampers, or flies by.
Arrange to meet me today! My ideal family would have other cats and friendly dogs to keep me company while you’re at work or on vacation. And don’t forget to have a supply of my favorite treat, Churus squeezables. Plus I like to lick the lids of my canned food.
HOPE ID 22-0611-C056

Bean #enchantress
DOB 6/18/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Bean, a sweet, enchanting, but initially timid “torbie” gal with big amber eyes who enjoys being petted so much that I can be downright demanding! “Torbie” means that I’m pale-gray tabby with pastel orange patches scattered on my face and back. Actually, it looks like I got splashed with caramel in a candy factory.
Now that I feel safe in my foster home, I like to curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap as I luxuriate when she scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks. True confessions: I still don’t like to be picked up, but Foster Meowmy knows to just let me come to her. I’m a playful girl who enjoys interactive play with Foster Meowmy when she wiggles the feather wand-toy on the floor for me to chase and in the air for me to swat.
I was rescued as an orphaned kitten who had gotten dumped like trash at an Alief trailer park. Once in my foster home, I was a little skeptical when I first met my kitten foster mates, but now I really enjoy cavorting with them.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home! Arrange to meet me today so I can show you how well my head fits into your hand as you scratch my ears.

Birdie #chirper
DOB 9/15/23
Birdie is in search of a quiet home where she can have time to adjust to a new home and her new family. Once settled in, she loves sitting in laps to purr quietly and contentedly.
The things Birdie loves are:
- cat trees in front of window sills or window seats where she can look out and talk to the birds.
- tunnels or Amazon boxes that she can rest or run through.
- other kitties to snuggle up with or even friendly dogs
- quiet nights in your lap watching Animal Planet or watching your cursor on the monitor. Please help Birdie find her forever home before she becomes just another full-grown tabby cat.

Bloom #chatty-Cathy-doll
DOB 12/8/22
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bloom, a sweet, talkative, playful silver tabby gal with big, green eyes who likes to tell you how I feel about things! Foster Meowmy rescued me as a neighborhood stray. Boy howdy, I was glad when she brought me inside to safety! At first I was very shy and skittish as I allowed hands, loud noises, and new people to frighten me.
Thank heavens Foster Meowmy knew to be patient with me, and it wasn’t too long before I came out of my shell and starting displaying my rambunctious personality. I can transform into a ball of energy who zooms around the house and plays with anything because, in my eyes, everything is a toy – including fingers and toes.
I also have a cuddly side to my personality as I like to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy. My favorite post-playtime activity is basking in a patch of sunshine at the top of the cat tree. My ideal home would be a quiet one with one other male cat, although I tolerate the resident dogs in my foster home.
Arrange to meet me today so I can play “tootsie” with you! True confessions: the noise at adoption day makes me cower in my cage, but I hope you'll still want to take me home to see my "zoomies" in action. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home and break your cherished accessories.

Bowzer #brother-of-Squirt
DOB 9/15/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Bowzer, and I’m a sweet, playful taupe tabby who looks identical to my twin brother Squirt except that I’m slightly darker. I absolutely love my “bestie” Squirt -- so much that we are inseparable. I’m quick to turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. I exult when I’m playing and will chase anything that moves.
I’m quite attached to my Foster Meowmy and always want to be with her, whether she’s sitting, lying down, or walking. In fact, I’m like her little shadow in that I follow her around from room to room. I keep hoping that she will reward me with a blueberry dog treat.
She had been feeding my feral momma, who outwitted future Foster Meowmy when she tried to trap Momma. Eventually Momma brought Squirt and me to Meowmy when we were six weeks old. We allowed ourselves to be caught and adjusted well to the indoor life. We even made friends with the resident chi-pin puppy, who ends up being a great playmate.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with Squirt since we are so bonded to each other. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

Cara #stumpy-flip-tail
DOB 10/1/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Cara, and my name fits me to a “T” because it means “darling, beloved, dear, loved one.” I’m a sweet, happy, playful calico girl with an adorable stumpy tail that curves over my back. I love everyone and get along with other friendly cats as well as well-behaved children.
I guess you’re wondering why I’m a rakish-looking, one-eyed kitty. My rescuer noticed that one of my eyes was smaller than the other as well as infected. The vet eye specialist diagnosed that my eye had never fully developed. Since I had no vision in it anyway and since it was prone to infections, I underwent surgery to remove it. This doesn’t slow me down at all because I’m a brave kitty who enjoys life! I especially enjoy interactive play when Foster Meowmy waves the feather wand toy all around me.
I had been fending for myself in an apartment complex in a bad part of town because my owners had moved out and left me behind. Of course they hadn’t bothered to spay me, so it wasn’t long before I became pregnant and had a litter of five kittens. Thank heavens our HOPE foster meowmy rescued us and brought us inside to safety.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I hope you’ll look past my superficial “flaw” and arrange to meet my calm, friendly self. By the way, there are advantages to adopting a kitty who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’d be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your cherished accessories.

Clara #dainty-green-eyed-beauty
DOB 4/14/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Clara, a super-sweet, quiet, demure charcoal grey and white tuxedo gal who’s actually the retired momma of the #graffiti-boys litter. I'm a real beauty because I have a sleek, shiny coat that's soft as a bunny's fur, and my big green eyes are mesmerizing!
I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin as well as when she gently caresses my back. I was initially shy when I first arrived in my foster home, but once I got to know and trust Foster Meowmy (thanks to treats and yummy food!), I started relaxing.
Meowmy is very conscious that sudden movements make me nervous, so she makes sure that she moves around me very slowly. You see, I was rescued from an apartment complex as a stray momma cat with my three boys, so my radar always on the alert for danger to protect my babies from predators. Admittedly, it took a while for that mindset to be discarded and for me to wake up to the reality that I was suddenly living in a safe, secure environment of plenty.
Although my three boys, Dondi, Zephyr, and Banksy, were weaned long ago, I can’t resist being the “helicopter momma” who’s always in the background watching out for them. Even though I’m a dainty lass, I even join in their roughhousing from time to time. I become somewhat of a police officer when it comes to the other resident cats and my boys. The fact is – I’ll always love my sons!
Most of the time, I stay out of the way and am as quiet as a mouse. (Who wouldn't be when her sons are such flamboyant characters?) I’m happy to keep to myself and don’t demand a lot of attention from Foster Meowmy, although I luxuriate when she does pet me. Now it’s time for me and my family to find out forever homes. All I ask for is a quiet home with people who know the power of a gentle touch. And it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Banksy.

Danica Patrick #feline-racer
DOB 9/10/23
Hi everyone! I’m Danica Patrick, or Dani for short. I was named after the famous female race-car driver because I like to zoom around the house. I play hard as I chase ribbons, toy mice, and anything that looks like it needs to be pounced upon. Then I follow that up with a good long power-nap in Foster Daddy’s lap. I have excellent people skills and am always quick to turn on my purr motor to show my contentment.
But playing soccer with toys and cuddling with Foster Daddy can be put on hold when it’s time to eat. I adore all types of food and will come running when the dinner bell is rung. You can call me anything you want, just don't call me late for dinner.
I’m a sweet, affectionate, and playful brown tabby gal who was rescued from under a moving minivan. Whew! That was a close call, but I'm a survivor! I had to have a few stitches on my lower lip, but now it's completely healed, so I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a kitten who excels in playtime, naptime, and dinnertime, I’m the gal for you! Just remember – there’s no snooze button on a kitten who wants breakfast!

Darcy #pride-and-prejudice
DOB 8/15/23
Meow, Meow, everyone! I’m Darcy, a gentle, alert, and curious “bicolor” fella who’s mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. I have a really cute brown patch on my white nose. My namesake is Mr. Darcy, as in Pride and Prejudice. That’s because I’m always looking for trouble and like to observe everything going on around me.
My three brothers and I were all rescued from a neighborhood feral cat colony by our future foster meowmy. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Arrange to meet me and so you can kiss the brown spot on my nose.

Delta #son-of-Mia
DOB 3/4/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Delta, a sweet, active, initially cautious red tabby fella whose slogan is “play very hard, and then snuggle in bed with Foster Meowmy.” I’m one of the #Tip-Top-Trio of kittens who was brought by our friendly stray momma Mia when we were three weeks old to a lady’s apartment back patio. Thank heavens our future foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster our whole family!
I love to explore inside the long kitty tunnel where sometimes I even rest for a bit of snuggling with other kitties I’m always looking for another critter to play with. That could be my siblings, Momma Mia, the resident dog, or the other cats and foster kittens. After I’m exhausted from chasing all the critters around the house, I collapse in a kitten puddle with my brothers and my toys. Arrange to meet me today! And you might consider adopting me with my Mamma Mia.

Dobby is a brave and loyal kitty to both people and other cats. Climbing onto your lap or chest, he guards you from life's evils and warms your heart. This selfless kitty strives to cheer you up when you are down and delights in sharing your joy when you are happy.

Dondi #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches.
My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Dorothy #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Dorothy, and I'm a beautifully-marked black and white tuxedo gal who has an adorable tomboy personality! When the toys come out, you can be sure that I’ll be there to play with you! My curiosity gets the best of me, and I can't resist chasing string around the house. Although I’m not much of a cuddler, I love interactive play with Foster Meowmy as she tantalizes me by waving the wand toy over my head. I'm a very independent little girl who enjoys climbing and cavorting on the cat trees.
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with the resident cats and other foster kittens -- especially my many siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me! If you're looking for a tomboy-playgirl, I'm the kitten for you! Consider adopting me with one of the other #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Drake #loves-to-be-held
DOB 3/19/23
Looking for an affectionate, adventurous furry companion who loves people and thrives on attention? Well, I think I fill the bill! I’m Drake, a sweet gentle-giant of a brown tabby who likes to be held and petted -- that is, as long as I don’t get allured into jumping down to play with my siblings.
I follow Foster Meowmy everywhere because I want to know everything that’s going on and “help” her with whatever she’s doing. It’s amazing what I’ll do when Foster Meowmy tantalizes me with Temptations! I’ll come from wherever I am in the house when I hear her rattle the bag.
I’m the largest of my litter, which also includes Nikki and Sylvester. Also known as the #3-mouseketeers, we were rescued with our momma Nina as apartment-complex strays in southwest Houston. Now in our foster home, we have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and I relish every moment.
I’m friendly with the other kitties and tolerate the resident dogs in my foster home, and I’m never more aggressive than playing with a dog’s tail. Often m y twin sister Nikki and I lie in our cat bed and make biscuits together. Arrange to meet me today!

Eleanor #sister-of-Yvette
DOB 9/20/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Eleanor, a sweet, gorgeous, albeit shy calico girl who’s very bonded and dependent on my sister Yvette. We were tiny, hungry, dirty, and cold five-week-old orphans when our future foster meowmy rescued us from a notorious murder/crack house. I don’t need to tell you that innocents like us just didn’t belong there!
I’m a sensitive gal who was impacted by that traumatic experience, so it took me awhile to adjust to my foster home. My wise Foster Meowmy knew that I just needed her love and a lot of time to warm up to her as well as my new environment in order for my personality to shine. So now I relish Foster Meowmy’s attention and have fun playing with all my new furry feline friends.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Yvette and I think it would be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting us together so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Although we’re available separately, it’s particularly important to bashful me that Yvette and I stay close because I rely on her for my courage. Arrange to meet us today! Expect for us to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Elsa #craves-treats
DOB 8/25/21
Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat.
I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home.
Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart

Fennel #so-loving
DOB 12/25/21
Who doesn't love a chunky cat who just wants to share her love with you? Fennel almost looks like she's smiling, and every time you look at her, you can't help but smile.
Fennel is a low-maintenance-type of kitty who is meticulously clean and well-behaved. She may ask for attention, but if you're busy, she may walk away. Give this girl a treat or catnip, and she'll be your friend for life. Take Fennel home and see how she'll enrich your life.

Fiona #bundle-of-love
DOB 1/1/20
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Princess Fiona. Okay, it’s really just Fiona, but I like to think of myself as a princess. I’m a sweet, loving calico gal who LOVES my hoomans, and I mean LOVES them. I make air biscuits a lot when Foster Meowmy rubs my back and belly, and I’m in kitty heaven when she scratches my chin or ears. Because I have a little bit of an overbite, I often purr with my mouth slightly open, which Foster Meowmy thinks is super cute.
She describes me as “full of love.” Although I don’t like to be picked up and held much, I love to climb up in Foster Meowmy’s lap, sit on her desk, or happily sleep on her bed. Unfortunately, I won’t be a great work-from-home buddy until I learn to stay off Foster Meowmy’s keyboard.
Interestingly, I have a “startle reflex” to scratch out when I don’t know who’s petting me while I sleep or while I’m just staring off into space. Foster Meowmy thinks I shouldn’t be adopted into a home with kids under eight years old because I would hate, in my surprise, to scratch someone by accident.
I merely tolerate the resident cats – as long as they are chill and don’t get in my face. On the other hand, I do not get along at all with the small friendly resident dog. It would be just fine with me if I were the only “pet” child because that means there’d be no competition for my hooman’s attention.
I’m a stunning plus-size model. I’ve got a large frame, but then again, I’m admittedly a little bit chubby. I love food. I see it, and I want to eat it! Since I’m not a picky eater, the best remedy is not to offer me free-choice food all day long. What should do the trick is a feeding schedule and interactive exercise for me to pounce, chase, and lunge when my Foster Meowmy dangles a wand toy over my head.
I was found as a stray in southwest Houston, so I’m grateful for my foster home. However, I know that a home of my very own is what’s best for me. If you’re looking for a kitty who will think that you’re the sun and the moon, I’m the bundle-of-love gal for you! Arrange to meet me!
Incidentally, one of the advantages of adopting an adult kitty like me who's past the rambunctious kitten stage is that I'll create less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

George #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Looking for a great furry companion who's really quite funny and silly? Then I'm you're man! I'm George, a sweet and adorable spotted red tabby fella who always has a surprised look on my face. Yes, like George Weasely of Harry Potter fame, I'm a George with flaming red hair.
My favorite activity is playtime, and I love interactive play with my foster meowmy when she waves the wand toy over my head. My curiosity gets the best of me, and I'll follow Foster Meowmy all over the house because I can't resist chasing string and feathers! I’m also a very inquisitive little guy, and I find folding laundry and other daily tasks fascinating to watch!
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play tag with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I'm looking for a home where hoomans will play with me and love me a lot! I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Since I'm not a leader, I usually follow around either Dorothy or Harry. So consider adopting me with one of them so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Gigi #loves-people
DOB 6/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Gigi, a friendly and affectionate grey tabby beauty with green globe eyes and a sweet, innocent face. I love spending time in Foster Meowmy’s lap, and I respond to her gentle pets and ear-scratches by turning on my purr motor or making biscuits in her lap. I’m a top-notch soccer star who really knows how to bat around catnip mice and fluffy balls throughout the house.
I was rescued as an orphaned nine-month-old stray kitten who was trying to live paw-to-mouth in a neighborhood. I was much too young to fend for myself, so I’m grateful that a HOPE volunteer scooped me up and brought me inside. I love people so much that my rescuer thinks maybe I was someone’s abandoned or misplaced pet. From the get-go I had no trouble claiming my territory on Foster Meowmy’s lap.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be with you? My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Arrange to meet me, and let’s start writing a new chapter of our lives together. Don't you want tiny paw prints all over your heart?

Godzilla #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Howdy everyone! I’m Godzilla, a goofy, sassy, curious, and energetic brown tabby fella who’s proud of my monster-name. I may be a big boy like Godzilla, but I’m a sweet marshmallow at heart. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My sisters Mothra and Woobee were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. My foster mom heard my crying on a driveway, and she says that I’ve continued to let everyone know my opinions ever since. I was the runt of my litter and was bottle-fed by my foster family. Boy did I love my bottle!
Those “nursing” sessions ended up being a great time to bond with my humans and probably explain why I’m so sociable with people. The bottle has now been replaced with cat treats, which have probably contributed to my “plus-size.”
If you’re looking for a friendly feline companion who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your man! Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my sisters. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Harry #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Harry, and just like Prince Harry, I have the "ginger gene," which is responsible for my flaming red hair. I'm a winsome, entertaining tabby fella who’s easy to pick up and cuddle. I love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy as well as greet her with a "kitten handshake," i.e. touch my nose to her hand. I also cleverly learned to give high-fives with my paw. I’m quite a chatty chap because I chirp and meow to my family when I'm feeling comfy and happy.
I can’t resist playtime whether it’s with kids, other kitties, or myself. I'm full of energy, and interactive play with my foster family is my favorite calorie-burner. I’ll chase strings all day long if someone will play with me! I love all sorts of toys, especially little stuffed animals and balls that I can bat around and chase. After I‘ve played soccer with them, I’ll carry the soft, fuzzy ones around in my mouth. When I’ve had a surfeit in the exercise department, I'll jump on and climb the cat tree to catch my breath or perhaps a quick cat nap.
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me so you can find out that I’m more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Since I'm the leader of my pack, my siblings follow me around. Consider adopting me with either George or Dorothy so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Hercules #strong-man?
DOB 6/24/23
Hercules thinks his foster mom gave him a strong name to boost his confidence and make him more macho. But maybe it back-fired on her, because Hercules is a gentle, non-confrontational soul who enjoys quiet pursuits. He loves lounging on cat trees and napping in quiet corners. Hercules may keep to himself a lot, but he enjoys a warm lap or soft petting. Just being in the company of this laid-back guy would probably lower your blood pressure by 10 points.

Indy #copper-penny-eyes
DOB 9/1/21
Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My mom Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful.
My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds.
I hope you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so glad that I came to my HOPE foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability.
Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station!

Jack #Black-Jack
DOB 6/1/12
Hey there, it's Jack! I'm your typical Velcro kitty who sticks close to my favorite hoomans as they move around the house. Cuddling is my absolute favorite pastime, and I'm an expert at turning any moment into a cozy one. Cuddle sessions are always my top priority because I cherish every moment with my hooman friends!
But I’m no couch potato! No siree! Despite my mature years, I haven't lost my playful side. You should see me dive in and frolic with my favorite toys!
My journey's been a rollercoaster -- from wandering a parking lot as a kitten to a brief shelter stay to 11 years with a family. Sadly, a rowdy new puppy that nipped me led to my adoptive family’s abandoning me. A kind soul took me in, but her health issues meant we had to part ways. Now I’m in foster care and loved by my foster parents, but the resident cats aren't exactly throwing a welcome party. I feel a bit isolated if I'm in my foster room because, as I said, hooman companionship is essential to me.
My foster family believes that the best fit for my sensitive nature is a tranquil home where I have free rein to move around without unfriendly pets. True confessions: initially I can be timid and might take more time than your average cat to adjust. I hide at unfamiliar noises, but once I sense cuddles, I eagerly emerge. After settling in, my warm meows echo throughout the house. This is my way of saying, "I'm part of the crew now!"
I'm on the lookout for a forever home, and I anticipate spending my golden years basking in the mutual love I’ll share with my hoomans. If you have room in your heart for an affectionate senior companion, I'm your boy -- Jack!

Jack Jack #brother-of-Violet
DOB 5/16/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Jack Jack, a sweet, vivacious, and playful black and white bicolor fella who’s the largest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. Since I have only white on my face, it looks like I have a black beret atop my head.
Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. I’m the leader of all the mischief in my family because I’m full of energy and will play with anything and everything from dawn to dusk. I love to play soccer with all toys as well as to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. I want to be adopted with my sister Violet because we are especially bonded to each other. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Jason Todd #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you longing for a furry friend who's as full of energy as affection? Meet me, charismatic and spirited Jason Todd, who's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your life. I’m a kitten who's always ready to embark on new and thrilling experiences. Beyond my adventurous demeanor, I have a softer side that adores cuddles and quality time with Foster Meowmy. What's a love of exploration if I have no one to share it with? I’m always there for her in an instant, ready to provide comfort after a long day.
Named after the third Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my outgoing personality and heart of gold. My energy knows no bounds! I’m a whirlwind of fun and games that’s always ready to chase after toys, pounce on imaginary prey, and keep Foster Meowmy entertained with my boundless enthusiasm.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with expressive gold eyes and sprinkles of salt mixed in my black fur. I’m an instant head-turner, if I do say so myself. My gorgeous appearance is matched only by my captivating personality, which adds up to my being a kitten few will be able to resist.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be Johnny-on-the-spot to comfort my hooman after a long day. Perhaps my next adventure is with you!

Jenna #cuddle-expert
DOB 9/21/18
Looking for a sweet, affectionate kitty who will make you feel cherished by her gentle purrs and head nudges? Then I’m the perfect gal for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Jenna, a loyal and loving black DSH/Bombay gal who’s a real cuddle expert. At bedtime, I curl up next to Foster Meowmy to share her warmth and comfort throughout the night.
Although I’m initially timid when I meet someone, once they warm up to me and I get to know them, I luxuriate in being stroked down my back as well as scratched on my chin, cheeks, and ears. I’m more of a lap cat than a fan of being picked up and carried around. My eyes light up with excitement at the sight and smell of snacks because I’m always up for a tasty treat. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the birds outside the window because I’m captivated by their graceful flights and playful chirps.
My street-stray momma ran inside future Foster Meowmy’s home and immediately birthed my litter of four under her bed. Foster Meowmy turned to HOPE to help get us vetted as well as adopted, and, sure enough, I was adopted as the Pet of the Week at the PetSmart Pearland.
Unfortunately, I was found in a trap several years later. I can’t explain to Foster Meowmy exactly what happened, but she thinks either I was dumped outdoors, or else I dashed out the door and couldn’t find my way back home. As a previously indoor kitty, I wasn’t used to foraging for prey, so the yummy food attracted me inside the trap. Of course, the was traced back to HOPE through my trusty microchip, thank heavens.
When Meowmy took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I’d been outside, but probably I contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.
Despite my loving nature, I’ve admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I certainly deserve a caring and understanding family the second time around. With my endearing personality and undying devotion, I promise to be a constant source of joy and love in my next family’s life.
Arrange to meet me today! And you know there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Jin #Triple-T
DOB 5/18/23
Introducing our fabulous talkative, tippy-toe, tabby cat named Jin. Pet his head and he stands on his toes to lean up into your hand. Rub his back and he walks on his back tippy-toes. If you're not doing either one, he appears at your side and meows for attention.
This very unique kitty is not a fan of being held as he loves his tippy-toes and rubbing up to you instead. Loving the company of other talkative and friendly cats, Jin adjusts to quiet environments the best as he wants to be the one to make the music. Meet Jin and fall in love.

Juniper #spring-shower-litter
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Juniper, a cute, crafty, and clever brown tabby “ninja” gal who got my name because I’m a little “Junior” who looks like my dad. I’m initially shy with people, but once I warm up, I love to cuddle and to rub my pheromones on everyone!
Foster Meowmy found Momma, my sisters Minnie, Spotty, and Angel, and me in her yard one stormy May day. Thank heavens she brought us inside and promised to find us fantastic forever homes through HOPE. My foster home is calm and quiet without dogs or kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the friendly resident kitties.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home that I was promised, and if you’re looking for a shy but sweet “June bug,” I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Please consider adopting me with one of my sisters in the #spring-shower-litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Kai #king-pin
DOB 3/22/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Kai, which means "king" in Persian. I’m a loving, affectionate, gentle, playful red tabby fella who’s the biggest of my litter. Foster Meowmy predicts that I’ll grow up to be a gentle giant. I love to play with toys as well as my siblings. After we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, I like to find a patch of sunlight on a window ledge to take a long-deserved nap.
My momma Goldie Hawn showed up as a pregnant stray at a feral feeding station in Tyler. Thank heavens a HOPE volunteer transported her to Houston and delivered her to our foster meowmy’s home the day before she gave birth to our litter of six!
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with another kitten. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Kaori #Velcro-kitty
DOB 5/15/23
I'm a cat. Need I say more? I'm independent, so don't pick me up when I don't want to be. But if I choose to sit by your side, lavish me with pets or brushing. At least until I decide I've had enough. I often choose to go off and play and explore by myself and I'm fine with that. Please don't interrupt my grand adventures.
I do get along with other friendly cats and love playing hide 'n seek or chase with them. Show me a staircase, and I'll get to the top before you can blink. After you settle down for the night, I will sometimes want to come and snuggle with you or keep your feet warm.
Hope you like more independent women because I am definitely that. Come meet me and see for yourself. Please no dogs, unless they are old and will allow me free run of the house.

Katy Kitty #loves-to-snuggle
DOB 12/1/17
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Katy Kitty, a sweet, loving, and affectionate tuxedo gal who loves to give my foster meowmy kisses. When I’m not snuggled up to her in bed or on the sofa, I like to sit in the window sill and observe the wildlife outside. Every morning we have a little ritual when I get my Temptation treats. Every now and then I’ll allow myself to roll around in loose catnip, but I’m a bit particular about getting myself dirty, so I do it sparingly.
I also love to play with my toys but particularly when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head. Even though I’m very attached to my Foster Meowmy, I do enjoy my time alone. I get along with my feline roommate Flower #power as well as other cats and dogs, but I prefer hooman companionship.
Flower #power and I are devastated that, after living with our owner for our entire lives, we now need to find new adoptive homes because our owner had to relocate and couldn’t take us with her. I loved her so much because she was so patient and attentive to me. I wonder if she misses me as much as I miss her.
Well, I can’t cry over spilt milk, so I’m looking ahead and hoping for a bright future with another caring hooman. Could that be you? Although we're available separately, consider adopting me with Flower #power so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. By the way, there are advantages to adopting an adult kitty who’s past the destructive phase of kitten mayhem. I’m less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Lemon Pepper #gives-nose-kisses
DOB 9/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Lemon Pepper, a beautiful, outgoing, and affectionate calico -- or you might say tortoiseshell with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white mittens and go-go boots? I luxuriate when my Foster Meowmy showers me with attention, and in exchange, I give her gentle Eskimo kisses. While I’m contentedly napping in her lap, I’ll turn on my purr motor and almost unconsciously make biscuits. Simply put, I’m happy as long as I’m close to my hoomans.
Obviously I got my moniker Lemon Pepper because of my citrus-and-black-pepper coat, but my personality is also a delicious combination of zesty lemon and spicy pepper. I’m so addicted to hooman companionship that I will invent ways to get the attention I think I deserve. I start with rubbing my pheromones on Foster Meowmy’s legs, and if she still seems to ignore me, I’ll jump in her lap and snuggle my head in her hand so she’s forced to pet me.
My nickname is Cookie Monster because “Me want [food]” all the time. My mantra is “Om nom nom nom.” I have a bottomless pit of a stomach, and after Foster Meowmy feeds me, I’ll steal all my foster mates’ food as well. This may hearken back to when I had to live paw-to-mouth on the mean streets of Houston as an orphan stray kitten. Since I don’t like to share my food, close space, or hooman attention with other cats, Foster Meowmy thinks that I’d best be an only-cat child.
Will you make me the happiest cat in Houston by welcoming me into your home? I’ll display my gratitude with tender nose kisses and avid biscuit-making. If you’re looking for a gal who’ll put zing in your life, arrange to meet me today!

Lily #the-cats-meow
DOB 5/1/22
This is Lily, a totally unremarkable brown tabby young-adult kitty. But if you know tabby cats, they are the best companions ever. The best gift ever is to win the heart of a cat, and Lily gives her love freely and without reservation.
Lily is an introvert looking for a similar person to spend her life with. She doesn't like loud or very active households, but is SO affectionate when she feels comfortable. This tiger-striped beauty likes a quiet place to hide initially but then will venture out to seek pets. Lily would love to spend her 9 lives with you.

Link #brother-of-Niles
DOB 3/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Link, a brave, brawny, curious tuxedo Maine Coon mix fella with a big plume of a tail and a cute black button nose. I’m captivated by my sense of adventure. I’m a regular Marco Polo who doesn’t mind sniffing out things like the big resident dog. Why not? Investigating the dog usually ends up in a fun game of hide-and-seek with my jumping out and ambushing him.
If my favorite activity is to explore around the house, my least favorite thing is to be stuck in the crate with my sister Myla. That’s because she gets mad at me and starts hissing when I try to snuggle with her. Have you ever seen a kitten hiss? It’s kind of cute but annoying. Heck! She seems to object that I drape myself on her head.
My momma and my 9-week-old #quadruple-fun litter were found outside by a nice couple, who brought us all to HOPE to find us forever homes. I’m delighted that my future foster meowmy agreed to bring us home, where we encountered three teenagers as well as the resident cats and big dogs. No problem! We all integrated beautifully into the dynamics of our foster family.
If you’re looking for a big, handsome “pound of fluff,” pick me! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with my brother Niles. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Little Bobbie #bestie-of-Tango
DOB 4/7/22
Hello everyone! I’m Little Bobbie, and I’m an adorable, petite dilute gray tabby kitten with white mittens and locket. Don’t you love my sweet, angelic face?
I was a two-week-old orphan, covered in leaves and sticks, when I was rescued from a field. Neighbors had witnessed dogs chasing away my mother; alas, she never re-appeared. Several cat lovers took me inside and bottle-fed me along with several other bottle-babies, Butch, Sundance, and Violet, who are my same age.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’d love to be adopted with my fostermate Tango. That way we can play all day while you work or go on vacation.
I get along great with the 3 resident adult cats and 2 big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove. Arrange to meet me today!

Loki #low-key-lovebug
DOB 4/1/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I'm Loki, a sweet, gentle, easy-going dilute torbie gal with white tuxedo markings who loves it when Foster Meowmy scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin as well as when she brushes me softly. Torbie means that I'm a pale brown tabby with random patches of buff tabby. The effect is quite striking as it looks like I've gotten sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory!
I got my name Loki because I'm LOW-KEY! I'd fit best in a quiet, calm home with equally low-key kitties and without noisy children or barking dogs. If there's too much noise or commotion going on around me, I cautiously retreat to a safe spot. I allow Foster Meowmy to pick me up and hold me, but, like most kitties, frankly I feel safer on the ground.
During a major storm, I was rescued with my litter of five kittens from an apartment complex. We were all grateful to be safe inside our foster home where we could kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye. I realized right away that Foster Meowmy was an angel, and it took me only two weeks to allow her 23-pound resident poodle around me and my babies.
Now that my babies are weaned and I'm fixed so I'll never get pregnant again, I'm ready to find my furever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me! Foster Meowmy testifies that I'm as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside!

Lollis #loves-her-freedom
DOB 8/26/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Lollis, a delightful torbie gal who has quite a heartwarming rescue story. (“Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory.) I was a stray orphan kitten fending for myself when future foster meowmy spotted me at her jobsite. It didn’t take me long to decide that she was meant to be my savior. I ran to her, and she scooped me up. I cuddled in her lap to make the unforgettable journey to my foster home, and we’ve been bonded ever since.
Once in my foster home, I was overjoyed to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! Boy howdy! Brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and safety from predators all spelled security and happiness to me. I get along great with the other cats and resident dogs. I have a playful and independent spirit, which makes me a perfect companion for kids. Although I usually maintain my freedom, there are those rare, cherished moments when I need a little snuggle and will seek cuddles from my hoomans.
Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it’s time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let’s form a bond that's unbreakable!

Lu #chill-tortie
DOB 4/9/21
Have you met Mama Lu, aka Miss Lu, aka LuluLove? She's somewhat independent and prefers to stay out of your way, but doesn't mind the ocasional demonstration of love. She allows you to pet her, kiss her and hold her for a few minutes at the time. But once she's had enough you'll know.
Lu likes to play with her foster siblings but not for long periods of time. This independent spirit would do well in a quiet home and even one where people are gone for hours at a time. She is 100% capable of entertaining herself. This sweet tortie is waiting to meet you.

McDuffy #brother-of-Tuffy
DOB 5/3/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m McDuffy, a sweet, friendly, people-loving pale-red tabby fella who marches right up to all hoomans to pet me and cuddle with me. You see, I had a minor eye infection as a newborn, so Foster Meowmy handled me several times a day to apply warm compresses on my eyes, which explains why I’m such a lovebug. I’m somewhat of a loner with my siblings, so I often entertain myself by playing soccer with balls with bells or display my athletic prowess by engaging with Foster Meowmy with the wand toy.
Momma sought shelter from a bad May rain storm inside the garage of the local cat lady who feeds the neighborhood strays. To the cat lady’s surprise when she went out to her garage the next morning, Momma was waiting inside a cat condo with our litter of tiny newborns. The nice cat lady brought us inside, christened Momma “Surprise,” and became our foster meowmy.
Now I’m all ready for my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! Consider adopting me with my bonded brother Tuffy so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Melanie #daughter-of-Stella
DOB 6/23/23
Hi there, everyone! I’m Melanie, a very sweet, curious, and playful tortoiseshell gal who’s mostly dark with a swath of orange that splits my face in two.I have long legs and move like a panther. My momma Stella and I were rescued from Foster Meowmy’s driveway when I was about 3 months old. I was pretty skittish when I first arrived, but my foster family has nurtured my trust by offering me Temptation treats from their hands. I’m progressing on the socialization curve and turn on my purr motor when I’m petted. Frankly, I’m very interested in being with people as well as the resident dogs and other cats.
I’m a playful gal who loves to play soccer with balls and to lunge at wand toys which Foster Meowmy waves over my head. I can get into trouble because I like to explore. When I’m all tuckered out from my kitten antics, I like to catch a nap at the top of the cat tree.
I’m ready to find my forever home, and I’d welcome having friendly dogs or cats to keep me company while you’re at work or on vacation. You might even consider adopting me with my momma Stella. Most of all I’d like my hoomans to be lavish in petting me and dispensing Temptation treats! Arrange to meet me today!

Mia #mamma-of-Delta
DOB 4/15/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mia, a gentle, friendly, easy-going, playful patched tabby with white tuxedo markings who loves to spend time in my foster meowmy’s lap or bed. Don't you love my prominent peach-colored blaze on my nose and forehead?
I was a friendly, abandoned young stray who was living paw-to-mouth in an apartment complex. One day I brought my three 3-week-old kittens to the lady who had been feeding me. One thing led to another, and I eventually arrived in my HOPE foster home, where I proved to be a loving and protective teenage momma.
Now that my kits are weaned and I’m “fixed,” I’m ready for my forever home. I’d do great in a home with other cats or dogs but probably not young children. I’m young and playful yet past the kitten craziness, so I’d be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your prized possessions. Arrange to meet me today! And you might even consider adopting me with my son Delta.

Mickey #bonded-to-Minnie-Mouse
DOB 11/8/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Mickey (Mouse), and I’m a sweet, friendly, playful brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who’s very bonded to my identical-twin sister Minnie. I love it when Foster Meowmy picks me up and holds me like a baby. I just look up adoringly as she rubs my tummy at the same time. Boy howdy! It’s like I’m in heaven. My other favorite thing about Foster Meowmy is that she gives me yummy Churus squeezable treats.
But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I love to zoom through the kitty-tunnel and to chase Da Bird wand toy mercilessly about the whole room. I also enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the other kitties in my foster home.
But Minnie is by far my “bestie.” You see, we were abandoned together in southwest Houston and fortunately rescued when we were eleven months old. The trauma of surviving the hardscrabble life as strays has made us especially close. In fact, I anxiously cry when Minnie’s out of my sight because I’ve always been her protective big brother. People have a hard time telling us apart except I’m larger and have a broader face, which you’d expect since I’m a macho boy!
Although we’re happily situated in our foster home, we realize that it’d be best for us to find our forever home with fewer other cats to share our hooman’s attention. Although we could be adopted separately, it would be perfect in our book if we could stay together since we’re “attached at the hip.” Consider adopting the pair of us so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Mickey & Minnie #bonded-pair
DOB 11/8/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Mickey and Minnie (Mouse), bonded identical twins who are sweet, friendly, playful brown tabbies with white tuxedo markings. People have a hard time telling us apart except I (Mickey) am larger and have a broader face, which you’d expect since I’m a macho boy! We both like to cuddle with Foster Meowmy when she offers us yummy Churus squeezable treats on her finger.
I (Mickey) love it when Foster Meowmy picks me up and holds me like a baby. I just look up adoringly as she rubs my tummy at the same time. Boy howdy! It’s like I’m in heaven. Miguel and Tuelio (bonded brothers)
DOB 3/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Miguel and Tuelio, a bonded pair of brown-tabby brothers who are ultra-sweet, friendly, and affectionate. We love to cuddle with our hoomans almost as much as with each other. We’re a happy pair who’s always purring and making biscuits, whether we’re snuggled with each other or having our chins scratched in Foster Meowmy’s lap.
A Good Samaritan found us and dropped us off at PetSmart/Pearland, and thankfully our foster meowmy agreed to welcome us into her home until we can find a fantastic forever home. She’s insisting that we be adopted together because we’re inseparable best friends who love each other very much.
We fit into our foster home beautifully. We enjoy playing with each other as well as when Foster Meowmy interacts with us using a wand toy with enticing hanging balls. We’re also curious and love to explore, so watch those open cabinet and closet doors! We may sneak inside for a peek.
I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “It’s been amazing watching Miguel and Tuelio grow up into such fine young gentlemen. They’d be a wonderful addition to any family. We hate to see them go, but they deserve a forever home to share their abundant love with their forever owners.” Hope you’re convinced that you should arrange to meet us right away! We plan to be at the PetSmart/Pearland Saturday adoption day every week.

Mimi Lou #sweetie-pie
DOB 12/30/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mimi Lou, a friendly, loving, and affectionate brown tabby gal. I may be wearing “plain brown clothes” on the outside, but I’m distinguished on the inside by the nobility of my heart -- I recently heard Foster Meowmy tell someone that I’m THE sweetest rescue whom she’s ever had. By the way, she’s rescued LOTS of kitties! I love to cuddle in her lap, and that’s when I turn on my purr machine to show my contentment. My coat is very soft, and my ears are tufted like a bobcat’s, but I don’t have a stubby tail
I turned up as a stray in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. When my caretaker went into the hospital, Foster Meowmy stepped up to bring me inside and get me fully vetted. I must’ve been someone’s young, misplaced pet because I immediately adjusted to indoor life and started spending quality time on Foster Meowmy’s lap. I’ve re-discovered a kitten’s joy of playing soccer with my toys as well as lunging and pouncing at the wand toy when Foster Meowmy waves it over my head.
I don’t respond when Foster Meowmy’s resident cats hiss at me. Although I'm fine with other cats, if the kitties in my forever home aren’t friendly with me, it’d be okay with me to be an only cat-child. I’d never protest to getting 100% of my hooman’s love and attention! I can always entertain myself with my toys and by watching the wildlife outside my window.
Arrange to meet me today! I’m all ready to climb up in your lap, turn on my purr motor, and let you guess its decibels! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Mimosa #marble-swirls
DOB 5/16/23
If you like the “high” you get from a Sunday-brunch mimosa, I’m the kitty for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mimosa, and I got my name because I’m such a sweet, amazing, friendly, and affectionate “feel-good” Classic-tabby bicolor kitten. "Classic tabby" means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel stripes. "Bicolor" means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. I also was named Mimosa because I'm as pretty as the tree's cotton-candy-like blooms. I'm really a stunning sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself!
I love attention, and I’m one of the few kitties who actually likes to be picked up by Foster Meowmy. At bedtime, I love scampering under the covers and then settling down to snuggle next to Foster Meowmy for the rest of the night.
I was crying for food when Foster Meowmy opened her front door one morning. She has a reputation for being a tenderhearted “cat lady,” so most likely I was dumped by a neighbor who had found me. Of course she brought me inside, where I fit in seamlessly with her other cats and small dogs.
The adult cats have ended up being my surrogate mommas who’ve taught me everything that my momma would’ve taught me if she were here. I also enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the older foster kittens. I’m very nimble at scurrying after the red-laser dot when Foster Meowmy bounces it around the room.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, which can have other friendly pets. Arrange to meet me today! If you take me home, next Sunday brunch you can have a Mimosa on me to celebrate!

Minnie #bonded-to-Mickey-Mouse
DOB 11/8/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Minnie (Mouse), and I’m a sweet, friendly, playful brown tabby gal with white tuxedo markings who’s very bonded to my identical-twin brother Mickey. I’m a cuddly girl who loves the yummy Churus squeezable treats which Foster Meowmy offers me on her finger.
I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with the other kitties in my foster home. But Mickey is by far my “bestie.” You see, we were abandoned together in southwest Houston and fortunately rescued when we were eleven months old. The trauma of surviving the hardscrabble life as strays has made us especially close. In fact, Mickey anxiously cries when I’m out of sight because he’s always been my protective big brother.

Missy Longstocking #docile-lapcat
DOB 4/15/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m very, very sweet, friendly, and curious Missy Longstocking, a sleek, elegant harlequin gal with big jade-globe eyes and who’s mostly white with large patches of dark gray. Foster Meowmy named me “Longstocking” because I’m tall with graceful legs that look to be wearing gray stockings. Meowmy is amazed that I don’t have one ounce of “catitiude,” and I heard her exclaiming that I’m the most docile cat she’s ever met.
Although I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I happily curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We then enjoy prime-time together as she gently brushes me or offers me squeezable treats. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I adore interactive play as Foster Meowmy waves the fishing-wand toy over my head because I can show off my acrobatic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”
I have quite a dangerous backstory. A Good Samaritan was driving down Beltway 8 when she spotted me, partially inside a bag, as I huddled in the median. Thank heavens that she’s not scared of much, so she pulled over and quickly grabbed me as cars whizzed by. When we got home, she saw that I was a little bruised, nicked, and scraped as well as very traumatized but overall healthy and uninjured.
I tolerate the other cats in my foster home, but I definitely don’t love them. I haven’t been around kids, but I was fine around a small, polite dog. Since I’m friendly and well-adjusted, I might be very compatible with well-behaved children and cat-friendly dogs.
If you’re searching for a beautifully marked lady-long-legs who looks like a thoroughbred racehorse, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me so we can exchange warm cuddles and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor. Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young kitty like me who's past the mayhem of kitten craziness. I'll cause less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

Moon #sister-of-Shadow
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Moon, a very sweet, friendly, approachable, playful black DSH/Bombay mix gal with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes. I will demand love from my hooman 24/7 if I’m allowed! I adore sitting in my Foster Meowmy’s lap while she pets me until I drift off to sleep. I’m a lovely companion who will follow her everywhere just in case she needs some help or has a treat to give me.
I like to explore every nook and cranny in the room, and sometimes I disappear. That’s because Foster Meowmy has left a cabinet or closet door ajar or a drawer open, and I’ve crawled inside and sometimes gotten trapped. She finds me when she hears my soft meow, muffled by the clothes or shoes or whatever that I’m hiding behind.
Foster Meowmy found my brother and me as orphans who were freezing to death in one of Houston’s severe cold snaps. Thank heavens she brought us inside, named us Moon and Shadow after the Cat Steven’s song, and promised us that she’d find us a forever home. Now we’re ready to find our forever home, which could include well-behaved, cat-friendly dogs like the ones who are in our foster home.
Although we’re available separately, we would prefer to be adopted together since we’ve always been together and are very bonded to each other. That way we could also keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange a meet-and-greet today! I’d love to crawl up into your lap for some gentle petting and chin scratching.

Moon & Shadow #bonded-pair
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! We’re Moon and Shadow, a bonded pair of black DSH/Bombay mixes with sleek, shiny patent-leather coats and copper-penny eyes who are hoping to be adopted together. Foster Meowmy found us as orphans who were freezing to death in one of Houston’s severe cold snaps. Thank heavens she brought us inside, named us Moon and Shadow after the Cat Steven’s song, and promised us that she’d find us a forever home. Now we’re ready to find our forever home, which could include well-behaved, cat-friendly dogs like the ones who are in our foster home
Moon says, “I’m a very sweet, friendly, approachable, playful gal who will demand love from my hooman 24/7 if I’m allowed! I adore sitting in my Foster Meowmy’s lap while she pets me until I drift off to sleep. I’m a lovely companion who will follow her everywhere just in case she needs some help or has a treat to give me.

That’s because Foster Meowmy has left a cabinet or closet door ajar or a drawer open, and I’ve crawled inside and sometimes gotten trapped. She finds me when she hears my soft meow, muffled by the clothes or shoes or whatever that I’m hiding behind.”
Shadow says, “I’m a very sweet, initially shy, playful fella. Foster Meowmy had to build up my trust before I allowed her to carry me around and kiss my head like she does now. She knew instinctively that I had to warm up to her on MY terms, and if she chased me, I’d just run away. So she began by sitting and letting me come up to her and rub my pheromones on her leg. This was my way of asking her for loving, and then she’d respond by massaging my neck and then petting all over my back and tail. Boy howdy! That feels good!
One of my quirks is that I like to jump into the bath tub. Hey, give me a ping pong ball, and I’m “all in” for batting it around and seeing it slide up and down the sides as if the tub were a mini-skatepark. I like to play with all of my balls and catnip mice, and I also make a toy out of anything that dangles. Of course I’m a master at attacking the wand toy when Foster Meowmy waves it over my head. When I’m all tuckered out, I like to grab a cat nap in my puffy bed.”
We would prefer to be adopted together since we’ve always been together and are very bonded to each other. That way we could also keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange a meet and greet today! “Yes, I'm bein' followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow. Leapin' and hoppin' on a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow . . .”

Mothra #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Well hello everyone! I’m Mothra, a smart, gregarious, curious brown tabby "princess" with white tuxedo markings. I was named after a giant flying moth that was a popular "heroic" monster in horror films. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I’m a “talker” who chirps and trills for everyone when I greet them, and then I plop down to receive a good belly rub.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My siblings Godzilla and Woobee were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. Although I'm available separately, i t would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, chatty princess who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Mowgli #brother-of-Bagheera
DOB 9/10/22
Looking for a low-maintenance kitty? One who doesn't ask for much, but gives so much in return? Then Mowgli's your guy. This sweetheart loves any and all cat toys. In fact he can turn anything into a toy...a paper bag, a cardboard box, a balled up piece of paper, or a bottle cap. You get the idea.
Mowgli also is a shadow cat who will follow you from room to room, not necessarily needing attention, but just loves to be with his person. Mowgli doesn't necessarily like to be picked up, but he will come over and sit in your lap. Come meet Mowgli soon.

Niles #brother-of-Link
DOB 4/1/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Niles, a sweet, loving, and affectionate Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny black-patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes. I’m a Velcro kitty because I prefer to be so close to my hoomans. My favorite spot is in Foster Meowmy’s embrace while she scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears and gently massages my back.
And I’m not the only beneficiary of our bonding time: Foster Meowmy lowers her blood pressure and extends her life just by holding me closely. When I look up into her eyes, she forgets all her worldly troubles.
If you’re looking for a handsome ladies’ man whose “favorite thing” is being held, then pick me so that I’ll become YOUR “favorite thing.” Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with my brother Link. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Noto #dark-n-shady-six
DOB 4/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Noto, a sweet, shy, and undemanding black DSH/Bombay mix fella who has a sleek, shiny coat and is distinguished from my twin black brothers by my square jaw. Foster Meowmy chose my name because it means “known” in Japanese: she “knows” that I’m there, but I maintain a silent presence and don’t clamor for attention. I’m somewhat of an aloof loner who likes to sleep under the bed or in the smallest box that I can find -- except when I snuggle with my twin brother Axl Rose, with whom I’m especially bonded.
My favorite toy is one that I can embrace with my front paws and kick with my back legs. Boy howdy! It's quite something to see as I diligently work on punching it to kingdom come! Although I get along with the resident cats, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do best in a quiet home without noisy small children or barking dogs.
Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with my twin brother Axl Rose. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Oreo #masked-hero
DOB 4/27/23
Did you always have a penchant for masked heroes like the Lone Ranger, Batman, Spider Man, and Zorro? Well, I may just be the dude for you! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Oreo, a sweet, friendly, outgoing bicolor fella whose whole head is a mask, more like Batman’s! “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail.
I was rescued as an orphaned dumpster-diver behind a warehouse in southwest Houston. The employees weren’t sure whether or not I was dumped by my heartless owner, but they fortunately reached out to HOPE for help finding me a forever home.
I arrived in my foster home to join another rescued dumpster-diver, Skittles, as well as the whole #furry-five gang. We were all born within two weeks of each other, so the seven of us have had a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other like one big happy family.
I’ve emerged as the group’s leader, maybe because I honed my survival skills when I was foraging for myself on the streets. At any rate, I’m the first of the seven to do everything – first to beg for treats from Foster Meowmy and first to scramble up the cat tree to best position myself for a petting session with her.
Now I’m ready for my forever home! Whether it’s because I look like Batman or an Oreo cookie, I hope you’ll choose me to welcome into your home. Consider adopting me with Skittles or one of the #furry-five gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Oreo & Hershey #bonded-sibs
DOB 10/11/23
These two lovely kitties would be thrilled to find a home together. What's better than a barrel of monkeys? A house full of kitties. These well-behaved kittens do have a lot of energy, but are generally very gentle and non-destructive. Oreo, the female, is more affectionate than her brother, Hershey, since he has a one-track mind when he starts playing with his toys. We believe Hershey may be somewhat special-needs as he was developmentally slower than his sister. Both know how to use the litterbox though and will delight you with their charming ways.

Otto #tuxedo-tabby
DOB 8/21/20
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Otto, and I’m a sweet though shy brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white locket and four white mittens? I’m very sweet with my foster meowmy as well as the other cats in my foster home. I love and trust my foster meowmy when she pets and holds me. I even allow her to clip my claws.
When I was about a month old, my foster meowmy found my three siblings and me in an old abandoned car. After she got us all vetted and vaccinated, I was supposed to be adopted with my sister Zelda. When I arrived at my new home, I was my typical shy self because I was scared, so I found a hidey hole. Unfortunately the family didn’t give me the chance to settle in and warm up to my new surroundings, so I immediately went back to my foster meowmy.
I’m looking for forever adopters who will be patient with me as I warm up and feel comfy in my new “digs.” Ideally they will want to adopt me with one of my foster playmates like Squeeken whom I know well. Nothing like the moral support of a buddy to build my confidence in new situations!
Arrange to meet me today! There are advantages in adopting a cat who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'd be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Peppa #loves-to-be-held
DOB 7/16/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Peppa, a sweet, loving, easy-going tuxedo gal who has an adorable black button nose. Foster Meowmy testifies that I am a wonderful lap kitty and bed buddy. When I want Meowmy to pick me up, I gently tap my paw on her leg as if to say, “Here I am! Take me into your arms and love me.”
Foster Meowmy found me as a 6-week-old orphan on the premises of a security company in northwest Houston and brought me home. I get along great with the other resident kitties as well as the cat-friendly dogs here. I’m a playful gal who loves to chase the red laser dot that Foster Meowmy bounces around the room.
However, scurrying after the frisky red dot has not always been a piece of cake for me. Out of the clear blue sky, I was challenged with mobility issues starting about a week after my spay surgery. Foster Meowmy was horrified to see me suddenly not be able to support the weight in my back legs, although that didn’t stop me from "walking on my elbows" the best I could, which was nevertheless at quite a fast clip. “My goodness,” heartbroken Foster Meowmy thought, “Peppa is just a 5-month-old kitten!”
For three months, Foster Meowmy did her due diligence and took me to several vets, but it wasn’t until she finally took me to a pain-management vet specialist in The Woodlands that she found someone who could treat me successfully and non-surgically. He diagnosed inflammation in both of my rear elbow joints from either a congenital or traumatic injury.
God bless him because he relieved my pain and inflammation with cortisone and joint lubricant injections in both my back legs and started me on a regimen of monthly Adequan injections. It wasn’t long before – voila - I was playing and running around as if nothing had ever been wrong! What a miracle, thanks to HOPE’s Emergency Medical fund, collected from sales of the annual HOPE cat calendar!
The good news is that with long-term arthritic management, I should be able to live a basically normal life. My only ongoing treatment is for Foster Meowmy to give me monthly Adequan injections. So, although I’m considered a “special-needs” kitty, my chronic mobility problems have responded splendidly to injections and are easily controlled. Aren’t you happy that I need no daily PILLS???
I hope that my technically being a special-needs kitty has not quashed your interest in having me plop myself in your lap or snuggle next to you in bed. I’d do fine as either a solo kitty or companion to your resident dog or cat. Also consider adopting me with one of my feline playmates with whom I’m already bonded. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Perseus #expert-snuggler
DOB 6/24/23
Perseus may have exaggerated a little when filling out his online bio. He was just trying to get more people to swipe right. His brother Achilles was getting all the inquiries, and he was feeling a little left out.
This sad guy is not the most outgoing or the fluffiest, but he has a heart of gold and a fragile ego. Perseus is a first rate snuggler, and he comes alive when BirdTV is turned on. Are you willing to give this underdog a chance?

Pete #mr-ordinary
DOB 8/5/23
I may be an ordinary brown tabby cat, but I'm also the cat's meow. Strangely enough though, I'm more of a self-confident and quiet guy. I love making my own fun by exploring obscure places to find toys. I also can turn ordinary, every-day objects into playthings, like bottle caps or a piece of paper.
Another great reason to come meet me is that I get along with other cats. And I've mastered using the litter box and scratching post.

Princess #seeks-attention
DOB 8/25/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Princess, and I’m a sweet, shy, calm, and loving lynx-point Snowshoe/Siamese mix gal with gorgeous pale blue eyes that’ll melt your heart. I’m pretty stunning “eye candy,” if I do say so myself. I enjoy purring and being petted while I snuggle in Foster Meowmy’s lap.
Frankly, I could relax more with my hoomans – maybe even sleep with them -- if I didn’t get so distracted by the resident pets in my foster home. The male of the two cats is a real pest, and all the silly dog wants to do is play with me. So when Foster Meowmy is busy or not around, I entertain myself by playing alone with my toys.
I was a teenage momma who was living paw-to-mouth with my son Myles when future Foster Meowmy noticed us in her apartment complex. When she found out that he was in my second litter and that his siblings had died, she said, “Enough is enough!” Myles and I were so grateful that she brought us inside out of the rain and cold and that we could kiss the hardscrabble outdoor life goodbye.
Now I’m fixed so I’ll never be in the predicament of an unwanted teenage pregnancy again. So I’m ready for my forever home, and I hope it’s just as calm and quiet as I am. A family with well-behaved children who dote on me or empty-nesters who spend lots of time at home would be perfect because I’d love to be lavished with the hooman attention I crave.

Princess Leia #easygoing-girl
DOB 6/6/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Princess Leia, and I’m a sweet, easy-going, laid-back bicolor patched-tabby gal, which means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail, and there are random red patches that decorate the tabby portions. I have gorgeous, trusting big green eyes and a cute splash of brown on my nose that drips onto my left cheek. Don’t let my grumpy face fool you – Foster Meowmy says that I’m actually a huge sweetheart. Boy, howdy! I love it when Foster Meowmy talks sweetly to me and scratches my neck.
I was rescued with my litter of four kittens when they were two weeks old. I know, I know – I look like a baby myself, but I am already a retired mother. I’m especially bonded to my son Poe, who looks a lot like me. Now I’m “fixed” so I’ll never have to worry again about being a teenager who’s trapped in an unwanted pregnancy.
So now I’m searching for my forever home. I’m hoping it will be a quiet one without barking dogs and noisy kids. My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Pumpkin #the-entertainer
DOB 8/15/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Pumpkin, a sweet, affectionate tortie gal with a white locket who loves people and instantly purrs when someone picks me up. I’m exceedingly playful, so I make everything that’s dropped on the floor– including paper clips and pens – into a toy. And of course, I play soccer with all my balls with bells, spring toys, and catnip mice. I’m quite the entertainer who loves to display my acrobatic prowess as I pounce and lunge at the wand toy when Foster Meowmy waves it over my head.
I have quite a dramatic rescue story. When I was five weeks old, a Good Samaritan found me wailing in the holly bushes of a downtown park. The park management contacted the “cat lady” who’s the caretaker for the park’s registered feral cat colony. She rushed me to the vet, who found I was healthy although I was severely dehydrated and had been surviving on insects after I’d been dumped in the park.
Boy, howdy! I was so grateful that the “cat lady” became my Foster Meowmy and brought me home to brimming food and water bowls as well as a climate-controlled indoor environment. I was so relieved that I could kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! I fit in great with the resident cats, who are not only my playmates but also my surrogate mommas. Because I’m an orphan, they have nurtured me and taught me everything my momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Foster Meowmy is insisting that my new home have at least one other feline playmate for me. That works out great for you too because we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Do you know what it's like being picked last to be on the team or not being picked at all? The one to be left behind because you aren't as rowdy or cute as the others? Reuben knows the feeling. This sweet, gentle guy has been overlooked SO many times. We just don't know why. Sure he doesn't reach out for you at adoption events, but he has a big heart and is very playful. Sammy #fun-lovin'-guy
DOB 4/14/23
Hey there, everyone! I'm Sammy, a.k.a "Sweet Sammy," a friendly, playful bicolor dude who's mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. I’m a handsome golden-eyed lap cat who loves to show and receive affection. I relish it when Foster Meowmy scratches my forehead and chin. To show my delight, I make biscuits in her lap. She’s also won me over by feeding me yummy canned cat food!
I like to chase lasers, but my favorite game is to hide in a box or a cat-tunnel and then suddenly pounce or leap into the air as Foster Meowmy moves a wand toy around! And of course I love to play soccer with catnip mice and crinkle toys. In short, as Cyndi Lauper used to sing, I'm just a "[guy] who wants to have fun."
In my quieter moments, I bask in the window in a patch of sunshine and watch the birds and wildlife outside. Then I get in a good stretch using a scratching post and curl up in my cubby for a little cat nap. I get along with other cats and even small dogs. I haven't spent much time with children, but I'm pretty gentle, so I’d probably do well with kids who can be patient and loving when I feel a bit shy or scared
I was a very lucky three-week-old kitten who was rescued and raised by caring humans. I can't wait for that luck to continue when I meet my future adopters! If you’re looking for a sweetheart of a kitty who's just a good, well-rounded fella, then I'm your man! Arrange to meet me today! Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

Sasha #timid-beauty
DOB 7/20/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Sasha, a friendly, affectionate, and playful blue tabby gal with white tuxedo markings. I love when Foster Daddy holds me like a baby in his arms. I also spend time in Foster Daddy’s lap binging on Netflix and Animal Planet. I love interactive play when he bounces the red laser dot all over the room and I chase it till kingdom come.
My momma birthed my litter of five in Foster Daddy’s back yard. When we were about a month old, he started to wean us and eventually brought us inside and TNR’d Momma. I’m the smallest and initially shyest of my siblings – and the prettiest, if I do say so myself! When my litter was outside, I was so timid that I hid myself between the fences so that Foster Daddy didn’t even realize that there were five kittens in Momma’s litter.
Now I'm ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a pretty, petite, and demure kitten, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me today!

Serena #teenage-mom
DOB 1/19/22
Introducing Serena, a petite little ball of love with brownish black fur and golden eyes. This cutie loves snuggling and, while not shy, is somewhat reserved in nature. She gladly keeps to herself but craves snuggling up to you. Serena would make a perfect emotional support companion in a quiet household.

Shadow #brother-of-Moon
DOB 5/1/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Shadow, a very sweet, initially shy, playful black DSH/Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes.
When I’m all tuckered out, I like to grab a cat nap in my puffy bed.
Foster Meowmy found my sister and me as orphans who were freezing to death in one of Houston’s severe cold snaps.
Arrange a meet and greet today! Unfortunately I can’t promise that I’d crawl up in your lap like Moon would. I’m more like the proverbial butterfly – that eludes you if you try to catch it in a net but lands on your shoulder when you leave it well enough alone.

Simon #pick-me-up-and-hold-me
DOB 4/8/18
Hi everyone! My name is Simon, and I’m a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and playful brown tabby fella with gorgeous jade-green eyes. I have short legs, so I look adorable when I walk. (I may have a little Munchkin-cat blood coursing through my veins.)
I love spending time with my foster family, and I’m not shy at all about meeting new people. I’m so laid-back that I’m one of those rare kitties who doesn’t mind being handled or picked up.
I luxuriate when my foster meowmy puts her forehead onto mine and give me kisses. Getting my head petted and chin scratched are right up there as “tops” in my book. On the other hand, getting my tummy rubbed is not so pleasant (as many other kitties will agree), so I’ll gently soft-paw Foster Meowmy to tell her to stop.
Usually I’m a quiet kitty who minds my own business, but then again sometimes I can be very talkative. Foster Meowmy thinks I’ve got a cute, sweet voice that’s like a chirping meow.
I was rescued from a rough life on the streets, so I welcomed the brand-new indoor amenities of my “donut” bed as well as wand toys and balls with bells. I like to bask in a sunbeam on the windowsill as I watch the squirrels and birds outside.
I’m lucky in that I won’t ever have to fight to survive a hardscrabble life of a street-stray ever again. I’m not so lucky in that I contracted FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), probably from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on “casually” by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as special attention is routinely given to my dental health and prompt attention is given to secondary infections of the urinary tract or upper respiratory system.
I get along with other cats as well as the large dog in my foster home, but it would also be just fine if I were the only cat. Incidentally, I have perfect litter box and scratching-post manners.
Foster Meowmy says that I’m very resilient from my stint as stray and that I’m “the sweetest cat in the whole world.” She thinks I would really make anyone happy. I’m just looking for a place to call my own and where I can soak up all the love and attention that can be showered on me. Could you be the forever family I’ve been waiting for?

Spotty #spring-shower-litter
DOB 5/4/23
Hi there! I’m Spotty, a curious, cute, and crafty tortoiseshell “ninja” with a striking orange nose-blaze whose name was inspired by the Star Trek catchphrase “Beam me up, Spotty.” I’m not as shy as I was initially, and I’ve come to just love cuddling with Foster Meowmy. I’m like the Chatty Cathy doll because I have no trouble chirping and trilling for everyone.
Foster Meowmy found Momma, my sisters Minnie, Juniper, and Angel, and me in her yard one stormy May day. Thank heavens she brought us inside and promised to find us fantastic forever homes through HOPE. My foster home is calm and quiet without dogs or kids, but I have quite a rambunctious streak in me, so I’m open to a home with kids. I fit in well with the friendly resident kitties.
Now I’m ready to find the forever home that I was promised, and if you’re looking for a shy but chatty ninja, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Please consider adopting me with one of my sisters in the #spring-shower-litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Squirt #brother-of-Bowzer
DOB 9/15/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Squirt, and I’m a sweet, playful taupe tabby who loves my twin brother Bowzer so much that we are inseparable. I play fetch with my tiny fuzzy balls and soccer with my catnip mice. Then I carry my mouse around in my mouth and just may drop it into my water bowl just to make a little mischief.
My future foster meowmy had been feeding my feral momma, who outwitted Meowmy when she tried to trap Momma. Eventually Momma brought Bowzer and me to Foster Meowmy when we were six weeks old. We allowed ourselves to be caught and adjusted well to the indoor life. We even made friends with the resident chi-pin puppy, who ends up being a great playmate.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with Bowzer since we are so bonded to each other. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Squirt #loving-workmate
DOB 9/8/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Squirt, a friendly, outgoing, and playful grey tabby fella who loves to spend quality time in my foster meowmy’s warm lap. When she’s busy working on her computer from home, I like hanging out on the desk beside her. I therefore prove myself to be a great work companion who wards off any “remoteness” that she might feel.
I was an orphan kitten who was hiding under a neighborhood lumber pile in the rain and cold when my future foster meowmy rescued me. She brought me to her warm, dry home, where I was grateful to kiss my hardscrabble outdoor life good-bye in order to become a bonafide house cat! I fit in like a glove to the family dynamics, which include kids, other cats, and dogs. Hey! Noise and chaos don't bother me a bit! I love to rough and tumble with the resident cats as well as play soccer with my balls, catnip mice, and other toys.
Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart! I’m hoping that my forever home will have a kitty sibling to keep me company in case I’m ever left alone while my family is at work or on vacation.

Stella #momma-of-Melanie
DOB 8/30/22
Hi there, everyone! I’m Stella, a very sweet, quiet, easy-going, beautiful “bicolor” gal, which means that I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. My kitten Melanie and I were rescued from Foster Meowmy’s driveway when I was about one year old. I was pretty skittish when I first arrived, but my foster family has nurtured my trust because I’m very food motivated. I’m progressing on the socialization curve and becoming more and more affectionate because I love to be petted. Frankly, I’m very interested in being with people as well as the resident dogs.
I’m a mellow gal who loves to relax. My favorite place is hanging out in the family rocking chair. Since I was a stray who was living paw-to-mouth, I’d never had toys to play with. I’m quickly learning to have fun playing soccer with balls and catnip mice. I guess you’d say that I’m a “couch potato no more!”
I’m ready to find my forever home, and I’d welcome having friendly dogs or cats to be my fur buddies. You might even consider adopting me with my daughter Melanie so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. Most of all I’d like my hoomans to be lavish in petting me and dispensing Temptation treats!
Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who's beyond the stage of kitten frenzy. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your favorite accessories.

Sweetie Pie #purrs-sweet-nothings
DOB 2/24/15
Hey there, everyone! My name is Sweetie Pie, and you can imagine how I got my moniker: I’m a sweet, quiet, loving “torbie” gal with big green eyes. “Torbie” means that I’m a brown tabby with random patches of orange that look like I’ve gotten sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory.
My favorite spot is on Foster Meowmy’s lap because I thrive on head and chin scratches. That’s when I turn on my purr motor or give her Eskimo kisses to show my delight. I don’t even mind being held, and when I was at the vet recently getting my dental, I hugged one of the vet techs and purred sweet nothings in her ear when she snuggled me to her chest.
In my pensive moments, I like to hang out in my kitty cubbyhole with my plush toy and look out the window as the world walks, scampers, or flies by. I’m fine alone while Foster Meowmy’s at work as long as she greets me by gently touching my head before my meals. Believe it or not, my favorite treat is malt-flavored kitty toothpaste!
I had been an outdoor stray who hung out on three porches at Foster Meowmy’s apartment complex for a few years. Two neutered male kitties protected me from other unfriendly cats at the community feeding station. The neighbors called me “Scaredy Cat” because I ran away when anyone got too close. Everyone assumed that I was an unsocialized feral cat, but when a HOPE volunteer trapped me, the vet discovered that I was already spayed; so my ear was notched, and I was released back outside.
But then I had a blessing in disguise: I injured my leg around Thanksgiving. So Foster Meowmy brought me inside to recover (now 100%) and ended up keeping me inside because of the freezing winter weather. Well, I made a miraculous transformation once I was inside and proved that I had probably been someone’s pet in the past who unfortunately was abandoned or had gotten lost. It took being safely inside again for my sweet disposition to shine and to enamor all my hoomans, including the vet staff!
I’m ready to find my forever home now! Foster Meowmy thinks I’d be perfect for anyone who’s looking for a quiet lap-companion to binge on Animal Planet or Netflix with them. This could be retirees, adults, or even well-behaved children, although I’m scared of dogs and wild, unfriendly cats. Arrange to meet me! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a mature kitty who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

T'Challa #black-panther-prince
DOB 10/1/22
Are you a fan of T’Challa, the fictional African prince who's called Black Panther in Marvel comics? Then you'll understand why Foster Meowmy gave me such an unusual moniker – I’m a sleek, strong, and handsome mini-black panther who looks to be a Bombay mix fella with my shiny patent-leather coat and big globe eyes.
I’m a sweet boy who loves the Eskimo kisses Foster Meowmy showers on me when she picks me up. Although I’m not a lap cat per se, I am a Velcro cat who likes to stick close to her. I prefer to position myself right next to her when she’s lying in bed or sitting on the sofa, and I'll follow her into the bathroom if she allows me.
I’m a smart fella who, like many Bombays, is very dog-like. I've learned to "sit" as well as to give “high fives.” Plus I’m a playful athlete who loves to play fetch. I scamper off to grab whatever toy Foster Meowmy tosses for me and even sometimes bring it back!
I showed up as a stray at Foster Meowmy’s house, and when her family showed me some love and attention, I decided to hang out permanently – rain or shine -- on their front porch. So they decided that I was someone’s misplaced pet who needed to be brought inside. I adjusted easily to the indoor life and play well with the resident cats.
Although I’m contented with my foster family, I realize that it’s time for me to find a loving forever home of my very own. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me today! I have so much love to give – all I need is YOU! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty who's past the mayhem of kittenhood. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in you home or break your treasured accessories.

Tango #bestie-of-Little-Bobbie
DOB 4/7/22
Howdy everyone! I’m Tango, a loving and mellow yet funny and lively red tabby fella with a warm personality and a great sense of humor. Foster Meowmy describes me as “the most wonderful of kittens who deserves an A+ home.”
I was found as an orphan in the street next to a pile of debris in the Lindale area. I fit right into my foster home where there were several other rescued kittens who were my same age, although we‘re not related.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
It would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my foster mate Little Bobbie. I’d be happy to give you an extra kiss because we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
I get along great with the 3 resident adult cats and 2 big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove. Arrange to meet me today! You'll fall in love with me the second you meet me. I'm all ready to settle into my A+ new home!

Thomas #3-men-in-black
DOB 9/26/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Thomas, a big, bashful, and playful tuxedo fella with white mittens and vest as well as an adorable “milk moustache.” I’m the giant of my litter and a little chubby, but heck – I’m more to hug! I actually heard Foster Meowmy say that I’m “nice and squishy for petting.” Despite my burly physique, I love playing with wand toys and can easily jump four feet in the air to catch “da bird” on a string. Ah, what athletic prowess I can display!
My brothers Todd, William, and I were about 10 weeks old when we showed up at our future foster meowmy’s community-cat feeding station near her garage. Initially I was the shyest of the orphaned trio, but once I learned about cuddles and pets, it wasn't long before I became like a big baby in Foster Meowmy’s arms.
If you’re looking for a handsome, macho, acrobatic dude who luxuriates when I’m cuddled, I’m the guy for you! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Todd or William so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Let’s write new chapters in our lives together.

Tiger #purrs-all-day-long
DOB 3/27/23
Do you like cheerful kitties who go around purring most of the time? Well, I’m Tiger, and I may just be the kitten you’re looking for. I’m an affectionate, outgoing, even-tempered red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. I’m curious about everything -- for example, an open cabinet door is so inviting that I just can’t resist checking out what’s behind it.
I’m a playful, high-energy fella who loves playing soccer with crinkle toys and fuzzy mice. My favorite pastime is chasing the laser spot as well as the resident adult cats and dog. I absolutely love climbing on the cat tree to either engage with the attached hanging toys or to catch a quick nap after chasing my furry friends.
While my future foster meowmy was walking her dog, she spotted my litter of four, along with our momma, hanging out around an abandoned house. First she started feeding us, and thank heavens, she eventually scooped up all five of us and brought us to our foster home.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, which could include other cats and cat-friendly dogs. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! My heart is so full of love to give – all I need is YOU!

Todd #3-men-in-black
DOB 9/26/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Todd, a sweet, friendly, gentle tuxedo fella with white mittens and vest who has a tiny white beauty – errr “handsome” – mark on my right upper lip. I love attention and affection from my foster meowmy and show it by turning on my purr machine, which sounds like an outboard motor. I’m a pretty laid-back dude who’s happy to sit inside the cat tunnel and enjoy watching my brothers Thomas and William make fools of themselves playing. Don’t get me wrong, though, I’m no couch potato! I love to chase the wand toy as well as my brothers and to play soccer with my toys.
We three were about 10 weeks old when we when we showed up at our future foster meowmy’s community-cat feeding station near her garage. From the get-go I was the friendliest of the orphaned trio and convinced the other two boys to let Foster Meowmy take us inside to safety. Ah, the bliss of cuddles, pets, and Churus treats! I’m not usually very domineering, but I push to the front of the line when Foster Meowmy is squeezing out the Churus!
If you’re looking for a handsome, easygoing dude who has a wonderful purr, I’m the dude for you! I’m definitely not a type-A, take-charge personality, so Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do best in a home with another kitty. Arrange to meet me today, and if you don’t have a resident cat, consider adopting me with Thomas or William so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Tom Sandoval #plays-iPad-games
DOB 4/15/23
If you think the actor Tom Sandoval looks like a hunk dressed in black, you should see me! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tom Sandoval’s namesake, an affectionate, saucy, friendly black DSH/Bombay mix kitten with a sleek, shiny coat. I can be quite the snuggly Siesta King who loves to curl up in bed with either Foster Meowmy or my sister Maddox, with whom I'm very bonded. I soak up any attention that Foster Meowmy gives me, especially when she’s dispensing Temptation treats.
I’m a playful guy who loves to play soccer with toy mice as well as engage with iPad games. And of course I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my three sisters, Maddox, Lala, and Katie. I can also entertain myself by scaling the cat tower and playing with its dangling toys.
When my Foster Meowmy was walking on her driveway one day, she spotted my feral momma and my litter of four under the house of her next door neighbor. She trapped, spayed, and released Momma but brought us kittens inside to socialize us. We fit in beautifully with her other pets, and now that we're ready to be adopted, she promises to find us all fantastic homes.
If you’re looking for a handsome, gentle, easy-going fella who gets along with other cats and small dogs, arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of my sisters so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tori #marble-swirl-girl
DOB 6/1/22
During the dog days of summer, “Marble Swirl” makes you think of ice cream, but I’m a #marble-swirl-girl because I have gorgeous dark marble swirls (instead of mackerel stripes) on my sides. Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Tori, and I’m a super-sweet, vocal brown "Classic tabby" gal who loves to rub up against Foster Meowmy’s legs and invite her to pet me. Admittedly, I’m not a lap cat yet, but I will jump in Foster Meowmy’s lap so she can scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears. Boy, howdy! That feels great!
I birthed my six kittens at a country house near a dumping ground in Cleveland, where I was among many friendly but unfixed stray cats. Thank heavens that HOPE took all my family into their program to find us fantastic homes! I probably had been someone’s pet who got misplaced because I adjusted easily to being an indoor cat. I especially like all the indoor amenities, like climate control, brimming food and water bowls, and a cardboard scratch pad to nap on after I’ve sharpened my claws.
Other than a few initial warning hisses, I didn’t react negatively to Foster Meowmy’s resident cat. Now we’re comfy with each other, and I even rub my pheromones on him. However, since I’d had to guard my food when the outdoor stray cats tried to steal my food, I don’t like it when he comes near my food. Incidentally, I may be tiny, but my appetite is anything but tiny!
True confessions! I’m somewhat of a “special needs” kitty because I tested positive for heartworms. There is no treatment for cats who test positive for heartworms as there is for dogs. Instead, I’m to be given a prescription flea/heartworm preventative like Revolution monthly. Whereas HOPE recommends that all Houston cats stay on flea/heartworm preventative for their lifetimes, adult heartworms usually die within 2-3 years.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Foster Meowmy testifies that I’m “a gem to be around.” Come find out for yourself!

Trevor #great-with-dogs
DOB 7/23/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Trevor, a sweet, very friendly brown tabby fella who’s always chill and laid-back. Not much ruffles me, and I’m never aggressive or agitated with the other foster kitties. A bonus is that I get along great with the resident dogs. Although I was initially shy when I met Foster Meowmy, now when she opens the door, I run up to greet her with my tail as straight as a flagpole.
My brother Ira and I were born in a garage in Katy, and when we were eight weeks old, we were brought to Foster Meowmy to get ready for adoption. She thinks I’m a handsome boy with my long legs, and she marvels that I’m slim and trim despite the fact that I’m a hearty eater.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Tris #sister-of-Alice
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Tris, a friendly, confident, and playful bicolor gal who loves to spend time with my Foster Meowmy. I’m called a bi-color because I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. My foster meowmy says she's never met a group of kitties as sweet we are, and she considers ME the “star of sweet!”
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Lucy, Alice, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed.
Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I promise that you’ll find that I’m perfect! Consider adopting me with my sister Alice. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Trudy #life-of-the-party
DOB: 7/9/22
You there! You! I'm Trudy! I'm the life of the party! This house will be BORING without me. Explore my awesomeness. I LOVE to fetch! I NEED fetch play time. I'll bring you my toys to get you to play fetch. Right now I'm at a 100% launch rate to go get it. I'm currently at a 90% retrieval rate on the little yellow moon and 70% on the fruit mice. I have a toy budget of $8 a month, so you'll need to keep my toy money in the black in order to adopt me.
Sometimes I like to get crazy and try to take a shower with you. I like the clear vinyl shower curtain liners so I can see why in the world you're in the water! Then I might need to climb the outer cloth shower curtain just because I'm entertaining like that. Either way you need a sturdy shower curtain.
I'm absolutely delightful, and everything I do is cute. I love people, but I'm especially good at pestering the older cats. They hate it, but I don't care! I make them play with me. I can be a little talker when it comes to play time or food; other than that I'm pretty quiet.

Tuffy #brother-of-McDuffy
DOB 5/3/23
Are you a gourmand and looking for a feline partner who loves food and lots of it? Then I'm the boy for you! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tuffy, a sweet solid-blue fella with white tuxedo markings who gets along with all the cats in my foster home -- my siblings, other foster kittens, as well as the older, grouchy ones. Ever since my eyes opened, I’ve loved to climb to the top of the cat tree so I can observe my domain below.
I love to display my athletic prowess when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head so I can lunge at my “prey.” And I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my #furry-five siblings. All this high-energy expenditure works up an appetite, and I love to chow down with yummy food – and plenty of it.
Now I’m in the market for my forever home and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family. I really hope that another “foodie” will adopt me. Consider adopting me with my bonded brother McDuffy so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Urso #star-bright
DOB 4/21/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Urso, as in the constellation Ursa Major, aka the Big Bear, because I'm so handsome that I'll leave you star-struck. I'm a super-sweet, easy-going, friendly, and affectionate bicolor fella who loves to cuddle in Foster Meowmy’s lap and give her kisses on the face. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail.
My feral momma birthed me and my two “constellation” sisters Delphinus and Andromeda in a neighbor's junky yard. My future foster meowmy TNR'd our momma and first scooped up my sisters when they wandered into her yard. However, the neighbors wouldn’t allow Foster Meowmy to come onto their property to retrieve me, so she had to wait about a month for me to wander into her yard before she could bring me inside to join my sisters. Outside I’d been living paw-to-mouth because my momma couldn’t nurse me anymore. So I had some catching up to do on my nutrition to match my sisters’ size, but I’m gaining weight fast as I feast on the brimming food bowls.
I’m an amiable, laid-back boy who always seems to have a good time and get along with any cat. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I'm also an energetic and super-playful fella who can entertain myself by playing soccer with my toys. I also play well in a group -- I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my sisters, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Foster Meowmy likes it that I’m so well behaved. I respect her daily routine and understand when it’s bedtime. Heck, I love to sleep and fall asleep quickly. Who wouldn’t with my exhausting exercise regimen? Although I like it here in my foster home, I know what’s best for me is to have a forever home of my own.

Violet #sister-of-Jack-Jack
DOB 5/16/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Violet, a sweet, friendly, and adorable fluffy silver-tabby gal who’s the only girl and the smallest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. I’m very attached to Foster Meowmy and follow her everywhere that she goes.
Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. Even though I look like a dainty lass, my favorite pastimes are eating and fighting my brothers. There’s nothing like a feisty tomboy! I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today. I have so much love to give – all I need is you! I want to be adopted with my brother Jack-Jack because we are especially bonded to each other. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

William #3-men-in-black
DOB 9/26/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m William, a sweet, playful black domestic short hair/Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes. I love to lick Churus squeezable treats off Foster Meowmy’s fingers, and to show my delight, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. Even though I’m the smallest of my brothers, I don’t let that stop me from being right in the middle of the action when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head. “Da Bird” needs to be stopped, and I’m the guy to do it! I have superb jumping skills and can leap four feet straight up in the air to catch it in a death-grip.
My brothers Todd, Thomas, and I were about 10 weeks old when we showed up at our future foster meowmy’s community-cat feeding station near her garage. I love my brothers and when I’m thoroughly exhausted from playing with them or Da Bird, we’ll snuggle together for a nice cat nap.
If you’re looking for a handsome, athletic dude who can purr up a storm, I’m the guy for you! I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and plenty of determination. I’m the feline equivalent of little Rudy Ruettiger, who landed a position on the Notre Dame football team in the 1993 movie “Rudy.” Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Todd or Thomas so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Woobee #your-furry-security-blanket
DOB 8/24/19
Hi everyone! I’m Woobee, a spunky, funny, entertaining Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. Don’t you love my white blaze running up my nose? Because I’m such a snuggler, I was named after the child’s security blanket popularized in the movie “Mr. Mom.”
I’m a lap cat extraordinaire. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I'm full of zany antics and have a plucky attitude. I’ll bunny-kick a stuffed animal and then come sit in your lap to get praise and to snuggle.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My siblings Mothra and Godzilla were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. If you’re looking for a real lap cat who’s the life of the party and who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Yvette #sister-of-Eleanor
DOB 9/20/23
Hey there, everyone! I’m Yvette, an easygoing, playful tortoiseshell gall who loves to spend time in Foster Meowmy’s lap. My bonded sister Eleanor and I were tiny, hungry, dirty, and cold five-week-old orphans when our future foster meowmy rescued us from a notorious murder/crack house. I don’t need to tell you that innocents like us just didn’t belong there! I relish Foster Meowmy’s attention and have fun playing with all my new furry feline friends in my foster home.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Eleanor and I think it would be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting us together so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Although we’re available separately, it’s particularly important that bashful Eleanor stays close to me because she relies on me for her courage. Arrange to meet us today! Expect for us to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Zephyr #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Zephyr, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and just a few pale smudges of gray on my shoulders.
My brothers, Banksy and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Donti. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling with each other.
