All Adoptable Cats
Our cat adoption fee is $100

(Mr.) Noel #lap-kitty-bed-buddy
DOB 7/12/21
Are you looking for a uniquely marked tabby kitty who has small cheetah-like spots on his sides instead of the typical tabby stripes? Well I’m the man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Noel, your perfect feline companion! I'm a very friendly, affectionate, loving, easygoing, and active cream-colored “spotted” tabby fella.
My foster mom calls me her favorite "lap cat" and her "bed buddy" because I love to snuggle. She rescued me as a baby who needed to be bottle-fed, so I love being carried around. I live with cats and dogs, so I get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
Why am I a "special needs" kitty? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, a rare, relatively harmless disorder that causes my body to make too much urine. It’s easily controlled with daily eye drops. However, I will need an experienced owner who can give me my drops every day and monitor my drinking as well as...um...my “output” in case the dosage needs to be adjusted by the vet. Easy peasy!
No reason for you to pass me by since I’m such a lovable and loving spotted guy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give that all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 21-0814-A050
If you are interested in (Mr.) Noel and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net, and a volunteer will get back to you.

Advil #pain-reliever-kitten
DOB 4/7/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! My name is Advil, one of the four #pain-reliever-kittens. I'm a sweet, adventuresome, playful brown tabby lass who's the Marco Polo of my litter. Whenever there's something new to explore, I'm the first one to investigate.
My siblings and I were found in the yard of my foster meowmy's neighbor. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster us until we could be adopted. I have so much fun playing with Tylenol, Motrin, and Aleve. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until we're exhausted and then collapse in a kitten puddle.
I'm actively calling all adventurers. Could that be you? If you're actively looking for a tiny furball to kill your pain, arrange to meet me. My motto is "Advil saves the day!" Consider adopting me with Aleve or Tylenol. That way we can keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation.
HOPE ID 23-0519-G123
If you are interested in Advil and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. Aleve #pain-reliever-kitten
DOB 4/7/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Aleve, one of the four #pain-reliever-kittens. I'm a sweet, friendly, loving black DSH/Bombay mix fella who loves hanging out with people and requires quality lap time with them. Unlike my sisters, who are always exploring and investigating new things, I like to take my time and smell the roses. When I'm not playing with my siblings, I can usually be found curled up and snoozing away in someone's lap.
My siblings and I were found in the yard of my foster meowmy's neighbor. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster us until we could be adopted. I have so much fun playing with Tylenol, Advil, and Motrin. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until we're exhausted and then collapse in a kitten puddle.
I'm actively looking for the perfect venue for a nice snooze. Could that be your lap? If you've got muscle aches and pain, take them away when long-lasting Aleve comes to lay! Arrange to meet me, and consider adopting me with Advil or Tylenol. That way we can keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation.
HOPE ID 23-0519-G125

Alexis-Rose #love-magnet
DOB 4/30/23
Are you looking for a kitty who’s precious, cuddly, and yet amusing? I believe I may fill your order! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alexis-Rose, and you can call me Lexi for short. I’m a very friendly, affectionate, and energetic tortoiseshell gal with a white locket that gives me a unique and special flair. But I’m not just eye candy! No sirree! I love to play and snuggle with my foster family as well as their adult resident cat. Actually, I’ve bonded quite well with this kitty because he’s assumed the role of my big brother.
A Good Samaritan found me all alone outside as just a wisp of an orphan kitten who was trying to fend for myself. Thankfully I was scooped up and placed in a loving foster home, which saved my life. My foster parents spoil me with a variety of toys, engaged playtime, and warm, inviting laps.
Although I’m very contented in my foster home, I realize that I need a forever home of my very own where I'll get those same amenities. It would be fantastic if there were another furry four-legged friend who’s young enough to match my kitten energy. Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give, and all I need is YOU!
HOPE ID 23-0729-J016
If you are interested in Alexis-Rose and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Alice #friendly-foursome
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Alice, a sweet, curious, playful Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Everyone falls in love with me when my beautiful face stares up into their eyes. I love food, love to play, and love to investigate my surroundings.
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where we enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other until we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m a happy girl whose life is a repeated cycle of play-sleep-eat.
Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors! Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog (I really bonded to him.) and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope that I’ve piqued your interest and that you’ll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with another one of the #friendly-foursome. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Amy #nature-lover
DOB 11/5/22
Need a little zen in your life, but crave companionship? Amy would be a great choice. This affectionate kitty can entertain herself or be your shadow. She likes being with people and is very gentle. But at the same time, she seems to sense if you need your own space.
When Amy is entertaining herself, she likes to either perch on a kitty tree or window sill and watch the world go by. Birds, bugs or basic toys intrigue her. Give this petite girl a little love, and she will pay you back tenfold.

Andromeda #sister-of-Delphinus
DOB 4/21/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Andromeda, as in the constellation, because I’m so gorgeous that I’ll leave you star-struck. I’m a sweet, calm, sensitive, easygoing “bicolor” gal who’s mostly white with brown tabby on my head, back, and tail. I have a distinctive yet adorable splash of color that embellishes my nose.
I’m a sweetheart who loves to be held and spend quality time with my hoomans. Boy howdy, it’s the cat’s meow when they scratch my ears, cheeks, and chin. I’m curious, so I follow my hoomans around so that I’m sure that I don’t miss anything.
My feral momma birthed me and my two siblings in a neighbor’s junky yard. Thank heavens when we were ready to be weaned, my future foster meowmy TNR’d our momma and scooped up us little ones to bring us inside to safety.
I’m the largest of my litter, so I'm the most independent and have an abundance of energy as well as playfulness. I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my sister Delphinus all day long, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. A nice bonus about me is that I’m very well-behaved and low-maintenance.
If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky kitten who will love you and cherish our time together, I’m the gal for you. Consider adopting me with Andromeda so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation

Anise #beauty-queen
DOB 6/4/23
Introducing Anise, a sweet kitten with vibrant coloring. Anise knows she is gorgeous and hopes you are able to respect her boundaries. This kitty prefers to decide when she wants to sit in your lap and when she wants to play. She's very independent and likes to go exploring to find her own adventures.
Anise's favorite toy is a feather wand that doesn't make noise. She prefers quiet toys. Her favorite place to sleep is on a cool surface in the summer and a warm bed in the winter. This girl will sleep on your bed if given the chance but likes to rotate the places where she chooses to nap. Come meet Anise soon.

Bagheera #brother-of-Mowgli
DOB 9/10/22
Looking for a bedfellow? One who won't take all the blankets or infringe on your personal space? Bagheera, which is Hindi for "panther," may be the guy for you. He's extremely shy and will take time to adjust to your home, but once he does, he'll be your constant companion. He won't ask for much but will want to be with you and occasionally sit in your lap. His second favorite place to rest is on an ottoman or in a cardboard box.
Are you a patient, caring person? Bagheera would love to meet you.
HOPE ID 23-0319-G042

Bagheera & Mowgli #jungle-book-boys
DOB 9/10/22
Did you watch Disney’s “The Jungle Book” and fall in love with Bagheera, the black panther, and Mowgli, the orphan boy whom Bagheera mentors? Well, we’re bonded brothers who are the feline versions of these storybook friends, and we’d just love to make our home with you! We’re sweet, affectionate, initially shy black DSH/Bombay mix fellas with sleek, shiny patent-leather coats and big copper-penny eyes. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick close to our hoomans, and we’re both no exception.
When we were orphaned kittens about six months old, our foster meowmy rescued us from dumpster-diving at the Jusgo/Sugar Land grocery store. We were so happy to kiss our hardscrabble life behind! Once we adjusted to brimming food bowls, clean water, soft beds, and other amenities of indoor life, Foster Meowmy became our hero and constant companion.
Bagheera says, “I was extremely shy at first, but she gave me time to adjust. Now I sleep with her, occasionally jump in her lap, and always want to be close to her. I love to rest on the adjacent ottoman or an empty cardboard box.”
Mowgli says, “I don’t necessarily like to be picked up, but I'll jump on Foster Meowmy’s lap so she can scratch my ears, chin, and cheeks. Foster Meowmy calls me her ‘shadow cat’ because I follow her from room to room since I just like to be with her. I’m a playful dude who loves any and all cat toys. In fact, I can turn anything into a toy -- a paper bag, a cardboard box, paper-wad, or a bottle cap. You get the idea."
Now we’re ready to find our forever home. We clam up at HOPE adoption days because of all the noise and chaos, so we might not show our ideal personalities until we came to your home on a sleepover/trial adoption. Foster Meowmy realizes that we are very bonded and therefore thinks that we'd do best if adopted together, and HOPE will reduce our adoption fee if we go as a bonded pair. That’s best anyway because we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you can be as tender, patient, and caring as our foster meowmy has been in allowing us to settle in and warm up to our new surroundings, we’re the fellas for you! We’re low-maintenance, don’t demand a lot, but give so much in return. Let’s write a new chapter in our lives together!

Banksy #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Banksy, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for a black semi-colon between my ears. I’m one of the #graffiti-boys who were all named after graffiti street-artists because our momma Clara birthed us on the mean streets of Houston. The good news is that I’m a little street urchin no longer. No siree! I’ve been babied, cuddled, and kissed ever since I was rescued and started living in my foster home, where I eat yummy culinary delights and sleep on soft down pillows! Yep, I’m truly a pauper-turned-prince!
My brothers, Zephyr and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom. That’s because there’s all kinds of great things there -- toilet paper, paper towels, rugs, humans, toys, shampoo, water, and our favorite, the occasional roach. I can’t describe the fun of rolling ping pong balls and cat spring-toys – anything with curves – along the sides of the bathtub like it’s the perfect skateboard park.
And it’s fun to sit on the edge of the tub and play hide-and-seek behind the shower curtain. We’ve destroyed a few shower curtains by batting each other with our little claws, but Foster Meowmy thinks that’s a small price to pay for the hours of enjoyment we have playing peek-a-boo through the clear plastic.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with both of my brothers or momma Clara so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Barbara Gordon #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you in search of a feline companion with a keen mind, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love? Look no further than me, Barbara Gordon, a remarkable kitten whose intelligence and charm will light up your world. Get ready to embark on a journey of laughter, discovery, and unbreakable friendship! Named after the first Batgirl as well as second Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m a quick thinker who's always ready to put others first! Just watch me explore every corner of your home with the enthusiasm of a detective on a mission.
Yet beneath my investigative prowess, I’m also a master snuggler who loves to be held. When I curl up with Foster Meowmy and she enjoys the soothing melody of my contented purr motor, my cuddle session becomes her therapeutic escape. After all, I’m a little lady who loves my beauty sleep.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix gal with gorgeous, shiny fur and sweet, bright golden eyes who’s as beautiful on the outside as I am on the inside. I keep Foster Meowmy engaged with my clever antics and my knack for turning even the simplest activities into moments of amusement. After all, I’m the only gal in my #Batman-litter, so I have a lot to live up to!
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where my gentle purring can become a therapeutic escape for my next special hooman. Please consider adopting me with another one of my #Batman-litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Barbie #New-Years-Day-kitty
DOB 1/1/17
Hi there! I’m Barbie, an affectionate, sweet-faced bicolor tabby gal who’s mostly white with silver tabby on my head, torso, and tail. I’m an outgoing, spunky, but opinionated little lady who absolutely loves to cuddle in my foster meowmy’s lap.
I’m a playful girl whose favorite things are kitty tunnels, boxes, and toy mice. When I need a "time out" after playing or from my housemates, I prefer to bask in sunbeams on the windowsill or curl up on top of the refrigerator.
I get along pretty well with other foster kitties and would do well in a household with a laid-back cat or dog but probably not with small children. Arrange to meet me today!
HOPE ID 20-0501-G004

Bas #golden-boy
DOB 4/11/22
Howdy everyone! I’m Bas, the Golden Boy, a happy, very playful, curious tawny-gold “tuxedo” tabby with white mittens and vest. My foster meowmy describes me as “studiously” smart and independent as well as having a very sweet disposition. I’m a gentle boy who’s drawn to her and other animals for affectionate engagement, which is my mantra.
I was found as a stray off Cullen Boulevard, but thankfully HOPE stepped in to find me a forever home. Even though I'm an orphan kitten, I fit in immediately to the dynamics of my foster home, which includes felines of all ages as well as dogs of all shapes and sizes.
I adjusted beautifully and wasted no time before I was playing with the other foster kittens. Fortunately there is a litter that is just few weeks older than I am, and we have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling.
I’m mesmerized when I track the sounds of balls with bells and other toys that roll or move. I love also to chase foam balls, catnip mice, and wand toys, and when I'm thoroughly exhausted from my kitten antics, I collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today! I’d do best in a home with other felines with whom I could engage. It’d be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my foster-mates with whom I’ve already bonded so well. We could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. I’d be deeply appreciative if you’d choose me to join you in your loving home.

Binx #brother-of-Jinx
DOB 5/24/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Binx, an adorable and playful black DSH/Bombay mix fella who was taken from my feral momma with my brother Jinx when we were weaned. Thank heavens a nice HOPE TNR volunteer scooped us up so we could live enriched indoor lives with people instead of fending for ourselves outside in the Houston weather.
It’s hard for Foster Meowmy to find one of us without the other because we eat together, play together, and nap together. She put a gray collar on me to distinguish me. The only other difference is that I’m a little less interested in food than Jinx.
We’re “attached at the hip,” so to speak. We love to play and run around each other. Since we’re so bonded, Foster Meowmy would be delighted if we could be adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet us today!
HOPE ID 23-0708-G230

Boo #bother-of-Cinder
DOB 2/10/2023
Heard of life in the fast lane? Well sweet Boo prefers life in the slow lane. He's a guy who likes a structured environment without a lot of surprises. Boo is learning to be more outgoing and loves exploring his environment. He runs to greet you when you get home. This guy is turning into a real lover boy.
Boo is a very gentle guy who will climb up in your lap just to be with you. Boo gets along well with other cats. Boo would love to join you in your home.
Boo was adopted with his sister, Cinder, as a kitten and returned when he grew up and the adopter didn't have time for him any more. These two would make a great addition to your home.
HOPE ID 23-0323-G050
If you are interested in Boo and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to https://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Bumblebee #high-5-gang
DOB 5/16/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Bumblebee, a sweet, playful, and handsome red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. I luxuriate when Foster Meowmy strokes down my back or scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears. I love playing soccer with my balls and crinkle toys, but I especially love when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head so I can display my athletic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”
I’m the most cautious of my litter, so I watch everyone else before I join in their new adventures. Eating is one of my favorite pastimes, and I’ve already figured out that Foster Meowmy is the dispenser of some pretty yummy food.
Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today. I can’t wait to figure out if your petting technique is as effective as Foster Meowmy’s. Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Buttercup #lookin'-for-a-friend
DOB 5/1/23
Are you someone who roots for the underdog? Someone willing to take the runt of the litter? Then Buttercup may be the kitty for you.
Buttercup had two bigger brothers in her litter, and they were adopted right away. They left her to make friends with other random kitties in her foster home. She found King, who is another foster kitty that is gray and white, and they became play buddies. Buttercup makes friends easier with other kitties than she does people, but give her canned food and she will follow you anywhere.

Cannoli #green-eyed-beauty
DOB 2/1/23
Did my beautiful face with my big green eyes, carefully outlined in black, catch your eye? Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Cannoli, a sweet, quiet bicolor gal who’s mostly white with brown Classic-tabby markings on my head, back, and tail. “Classic” means that I have dark marbled swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel tabby stripes.
I’m slowly learning to appreciate cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap. While she dispenses head scratches and back rubs, I make biscuits on her knee to show my delight. No worries about my being overly vocal because my meow is no more than a faint squeak.
Foster Meowmy’s husband works inside a building where employees were leaving food and water for me when I showed up as a stray orphaned kitten. Once they found out that his wife could foster me and find me a loving home through HOPE, they caught me and gladly turned me over to him and future Foster Meowmy.
When I first arrived in my foster home, I was initially very hesitant to trust people because I’d been fending for myself as an innocent kitten for who knows how long. However, it only took about a week for me to change my mind, let down my guard, and warm up to my foster family. I’m still reserved and timid by nature, but now I actively seek out Foster Meowmy’s affection.
I’m not a big fan of the resident cats, and I ignore the dogs in my foster home. Rather than socializing with the other animals, I prefer to entertain myself with the toys on my cat tree. I’m a loner who enjoys basking in a patch of sunlight on a window sill as I watch the world (including birds and squirrels) go by. All in all, I’m relatively low-maintenance and have perfect litter-box habits.
Now I’m ready for the forever home that Foster Meowmy and Daddy have promised me. I’d prefer a quiet family without noisy kids or dogs, but I’m open to any home with well-behaved 2-legged and 4-legged critters. Arrange to meet me today! I promise that my sweet face will take your breath away when you see me in the flesh.

Chalupa Supreme #quiet-beauty
DOB 9/1/22
Are you drawn to black kitties with big gold eyes who look at you like a deer in the headlights? Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Chalupa Supreme, a sweet, quiet, reserved Bombay mix gal with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and huge copper-penny eyes that are truly mesmerizing. I love it when my Foster Meowmy pets me, especially when she scratches my chin, cheeks, ears, and the base of my tail. I love to rub up against her to plant my pheromones on her.
One day I showed up at my future Foster Meowmy’s front porch when I was about 8 months old and became a regular visitor for food. Next thing Meowmy knew, I’d become a momma overnight and brought my days-old #foodie-four kittens to nurse them on her porch several weeks later. I was grateful that Meowmy got my hint and brought us all inside to safety. I have no desire to be back outside where life is scary and unpredictable. Yes, I appreciate the good life indoors where food/water bowls are always full and the temperature is controlled. And Meowmy is hand-raising me with those delicious Churus squeezable treats!
I was an excellent momma, if I do say so myself. Even though my kittens were weaned long ago, I still groom and dote on them. I even play and wrestle with them because I’m barely more than a teenager myself. Interestingly, Foster Meowmy had to teach me to play by using the wire wand toy with feathers that bounces around like a bungee cord when she waves it in front of me. Remember I was a young stray who had lived a bare-bones existence without the amenities that my babies have been privileged to have.
Sometimes I need a break from my babies. In fact, I enjoy sleeping inside a cubby on the cat tree where I can hide from them and get some peace. I’m a good explorer in finding other secluded spots, and it ends up being a hide-and-seek game for Foster Meowmy to locate my presence.
My foster home has a resident dog and other cat, and I was unfazed when we were first introduced. I actually enjoy hanging out in the same room with my whole family of 2-legs and 4-legs. If the dog gets too close for my comfort, I’ll just swat him an air punch, and that settles that!
Although I’m contented in my foster home, I know what’s best for me is to have a forever home of my own where I can get all the love that I deserve without competing with as many other animals for my hooman’s attention. Don’t get me wrong – I’m undemanding and would do fine in a home with other pets. Since I’m quiet and reserved, Foster Meowmy thinks I’d need a few days to come out of my shell and warm up to my new home. However, once I warm up, Meowmy predicts that I’ll blossom into your loving companion.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me, and by the way, consider adopting me with my daughter Olive, who’s my spitting image. We’re very bonded and could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Charlie girl #Top-Gun-crew
DOB 5/18/23
Remember Charlie, the sexy civilian female instructor played by Kelly McGillis in the 1986 “Top Gun” movie? Well, I’m her namesake because I’m one of the #Top-Gun-crew of six kittens. I’m a sweet, sassy, affectionate black and white “harlequin” beauty, which means that I’m mostly white with several large black patches on my head, back, and tail. I’m an outgoing, friendly, playful green-eyed gal with thick fur as soft as a bunny’s. I'm quite vocal because I like to ask Foster Meowmy how her day is going. I get along great with the big dogs, other cats, as well as teenagers in my foster home.
When my litter was six weeks old, a Good Samaritan found us in a crate on the side of the road in Magnolia where we’d obviously been abandoned. We were all in very bad shape – underweight with eye and nose discharges, worms, and ringworm. We’d even scalded our feet from sitting in our own urine. We were a pitiful sight to behold.
Thank heavens our future foster meowmy was undaunted when she first saw us and accepted when asked that she foster us. Admittedly we were a challenge, but she nursed us back to perfect health, and now we’re ready for our forever homes. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with another of the handsome #Top-Gun-crew so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Cinder #sister-of-Boo
DOB 2/10/23
Cinder is a dreamweaver, looking for her fairytale ending. She could possibly be Cinderella or Rapunzel as she likes to sit gazing out of her castle window. Cinder sees the good in everyone and is very compassionate. She jumps into new adventures with both feet, ready to make every experience the best one yet. Won't you give Cinder a life fit for a princess?

Cinnamon #brother-of-Copper
DOB 5/15/23
Cinnamon is a unique mixture of tabby-striped and reddish-cinnamon coloring, which is very unusual for male kitties. Top that off with his light green eyes, and who wouldn't fall in love?
This guy is not only handsome, he's a friendly fellow and will cheerfully sit in your lap or go off and play with his toys. Cinnamon does well with his siblings and would also do well with children. Don't wait to inquire about this kitty today.

Clara #dainty-green-eyed-beauty
DOB 4/14/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Clara, a super-sweet, quiet, demure charcoal grey and white tuxedo gal who’s actually the retired momma of the #graffiti-boys litter. I'm a real beauty because I have a sleek, shiny coat that's soft as a bunny's fur, and my big green eyes are mesmerizing!
I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and chin as well as when she gently caresses my back. I was initially shy when I first arrived in my foster home, but once I got to know and trust Foster Meowmy (thanks to treats and yummy food!), I started relaxing.
Meowmy is very conscious that sudden movements make me nervous, so she makes sure that she moves around me very slowly. You see, I was rescued from an apartment complex as a stray momma cat with my three boys, so my radar always on the alert for danger to protect my babies from predators. Admittedly, it took a while for that mindset to be discarded and for me to wake up to the reality that I was suddenly living in a safe, secure environment of plenty.
Although my three boys, Dondi, Zephyr, and Banksy, were weaned long ago, I can’t resist being the “helicopter momma” who’s always in the background watching out for them. Even though I’m a dainty lass, I even join in their roughhousing from time to time. I become somewhat of a police officer when it comes to the other resident cats and my boys. The fact is – I’ll always love my sons!
Most of the time, I stay out of the way and am as quiet as a mouse. (Who wouldn't be when her sons are such flamboyant characters?) I’m happy to keep to myself and don’t demand a lot of attention from Foster Meowmy, although I luxuriate when she does pet me. Now it’s time for me and my family to find out forever homes. All I ask for is a quiet home with people who know the power of a gentle touch. And it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Banksy.

Cleo #affectionate-gal
DOB 3/17/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Cleo, such a sweet, friendly, so very affectionate brown tabby girl who got my name because I’m as elegant as Cleopatra. What are a few of my favorite things? #1 People because they pet me. #2 Sofas because they make a great place for me to lounge like Cleopatra (visualize Matisse’s “Odalisque”). #3 Toys because I love to play with them.
I prefer being around dogs to being around other cats. Don’t get me wrong – I’m a quiet girl who minds her own business and doesn’t attack any of the other kitties. I can be around the other resident cats as long as they don't bother me. I’m just better with dogs and am usually not a fan of cats.
Foster Meowmy rescued me as a friendly stray who was in heat and roaming around her apartment complex. I quickly came up to her and rubbed between her legs when she called me, which indicated I was someone's pet. She scanned me, but I had no microchip. Since it’s rare to see strays here, Foster Meowmy did her due diligence to find my owners. When no one claimed me after three weeks, she decided to spay me and foster me until I'm adopted.
So here I am – looking for my future family. Could that be you? My heart has so much love and devotion to give, all I need is YOU!

Conchis #expert-loafer
DOB 4/2/23
Conchi's philosophy on life is "Today I'm doing nothing because I started doing it yesterday and didn't finish. So that's what I'm doing today. Isn't it enough that I'm pretty and add beauty to your household?"
Seriously, Conchis has her moments when she will sit in your lap and purr or wait at the window to supervise the birds and squirrels at the bird feeder. This laid-back, low-energy kitty would like similarly minded people or kitties to play lazily with.

Coriander #dark-tortie
DOB 6/4/23
We think Coriander is the most un-tortie looking tortoiseshell kitty you've ever seen. With her mostly dark black, plush coat, she remains a little bit of a mystery to us. This beauty is affectionate, sweet, and gentle.
While Coriander might long for adventure, she prefers long walks around a quiet home and exploring calm spaces. This kitty would do well with one person or someone who works from home without a lot of commotion. Looking for that special companion? Coriander would live to meet you.

Daisy #sister-of-Rose
DOB 2/26/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Daisy, an outgoing, friendly, and fearless blue tabby with random peach patches and white tuxedo markings. I love all ages of humans, including my foster meowmy’s children. In fact, I cherish the times the kids entertain me with interactive toys. I’ve never been intimidated by the resident cats and wasn’t afraid to interact with them from the get-go.
Foster Meowmy found me and my sister Rose as orphaned kittens with no momma in sight. Fortunately, she brought us into her home, and it’s been a blessing that the resident adult kitties can teach us everything our momma would’ve taught us if she’d been around.
I’m so relieved to have been rescued from my hardscrabble life as a stray so that I don’t have to live paw-to-mouth any more. While my foster home is top-notch, I realize that it would be best for me to have a home where there’d be less competition with the other cats for the attention of my foster family. Arrange to meet me today because I'd make a great family pet. Consider adopting me with Rose so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Damian Wayne #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you in search of a feline companion with a bold spirit and an unwavering sense of adventure? Look no further than me, Damian Wayne, a dynamic and daring kitten who's ready to become your partner in crime, cuddles, and everything in between. Named after the fifth Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my bold fearlessness with hints of mischief. Yet beneath my adventurous exterior, I have a soft side that adores snuggling in Foster Meowmy’s lap. My purrs melt away her stress as we relax together, and we’ve formed an unbreakable bond.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix whose sleek, shiny fur and piercing gold eyes make me a real head-turner, if I do say so myself. However, it's my charismatic personality that truly captivates my circle of influence. Whether I’m boldly exploring new spaces or devising creative ways to conquer my playtime challenges, my fearless attitude inspires my hoomans and siblings alike to embrace every moment of the day with enthusiasm.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Just like my namesake, I’m a kitten with a presence and a meow that command attention. I may be small, but my roar is mighty, so I’m no stranger to letting Foster Meowmy know when I want something – like when it’s feeding time.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home and conquer new adventures. Please consider adopting me with another one of my #Batman-litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Dandy #flower-child
DOB 2/20/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dandy, which is short for Dandelion, because I’m from the #flower-child litter, along with Iris, Petunia, and Aster. I’m a very sweet, loving brown tabby fella who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy gives me belly rubs. One of the ways Foster Meowmy wooed me to her companionship was with treats. And I love it when she waves the wand toys over my head so I can display my athletic prowess.
I’m curious and intelligent, so I’m fascinated with water faucets. In fact, I love lying in sinks just to be handy in case someone might turn on the faucet. I love people as well as other cats, although initially I’m timid in new areas and with new people and new kitties. I just need time to warm up to them all.
When my three siblings and I were just 3 weeks old, Future Foster Meowmy found us under a trailer in a north-Houston trailer park. Thankfully she rescued us and brought us home with her so that she could find us fantastic homes. I’m a frisky guy who loves playing with all sorts of toys as well as my siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and then collapse in a kitten puddle. I also like to cuddle with my older foster kitty-mate Tangerine, whom Foster Meowmy rescued at about the same time from the mean streets of Houston.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with Tangerine or one of my #flower-child siblings so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Darla #love-magnet
DOB 4/1/23
Are you looking for a constant-companion kitty who relishes attention and loves to cuddle as well as spend quality time in her hooman’s lap? If so, look no further because I’m the gal for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Darla, a strikingly beautiful grey Classic tabby gal with unique, very bold stripes and white tuxedo markings. But I’m not just eye-candy! No sirree! I light up my foster home with my personality and love. I relish it when my foster family scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks, so I’ll express my contentment with purring, licking, chirping, and even softly love-nibbling or kneading my claws.
I’ve grown up in a home with kids, including a one-year-old son, so it’s standard for me to be manhandled, carried around the house, and petted. When I’m annoyed or had enough, I sweetly and softly give a soft warning nibble – which is probably more polite and careful than the way most kitties would communicate their wishes.
My greatest wish is just to be constantly close to my hoomans. If spending time with them means I have to follow them to any room that they go, so be it. I have perfect manners as far as not jumping on furniture and counters because I quickly learned from Foster Meowmy what was “off limits.”
I’ve heard hoomans say that communication is the key to a great marriage, and that’s the way I approach my relationships with my foster family members! I specialize in being a vocal gal who doesn’t hesitate to tell my hoomans when I’m having a great time – whether it’s playing soccer with my balls or soaking up caresses. I also let them know when I want something -- like treats or a chin scratch.
When I was a 3-month-old orphan, a Good Samaritan rescued me from Vintage Park, an upscale shopping/dining center in the Willowbrook area. She couldn’t keep me, but thank heavens my future foster meowmy responded to a FaceBook plea and brought me to my foster home. I’d been fending for myself at a much-too-young age, so I was initially afraid of most things and unsure of people. However, thanks to treats, many cuddles, new friends, and T-I-M-E to build my trust, it wasn't long before I blossomed into a big love bug who seeks attention from everyone in the house.
After an adjustment period, I also became great friends with the resident cats and dogs. We chase and wrestle with each other and then collapse in a puddle when we’re exhausted. True confessions, when I attempt to play with the senior cats, however, I’m too aggressive, and, even though I’m just a kitten, they think I’m a predator and they’re my prey, so they avoid me.
Although I’m perfectly happy in my foster home, I realize what’s best for me is having a home of my own where I don’t have to share my hoomans’ attention with as many other pets. I hope you’re looking for a love-magnet who always wants to be with you and is tickled pink when cuddled in your lap. Arrange to meet me today!

Dash #high-5-gang
DOB 5/16/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dash, a vivacious, vocal, and fun-loving silver-tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who was named after Dash Parr, the Energizer boy in Pixar’s animated super-hero film “The Incredibles.” I certainly live up to my name because I have a hearty sense of adventure that urges me to “dash” from one place to the next. Foster Meowmy thinks I’m super-fun to watch because I seem to have a boundless supply of energy.
I promise to entertain you with my playful antics. Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Delphinus #sister-of-Andromeda
DOB 4/21/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Delphinus, as in the constellation, because I’m so gorgeous that I’ll leave you star-struck. I’m a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and adorable Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with brown tabby on my head and tail. The Turks would say that the spot on my back is the fingerprint of God. I’m lap kitten who loves to snuggle with my hoomans on the sofa and sleep with them in bed.
Even though I'm the smallest of my siblings, I’m “tiny but mighty” because I have a huge heart. I’m no sissy as I’m energetic and playful. I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my sister Andromeda all day long, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I don't meow often, but when I do, it's very quiet.
If you’re looking for a kitten who’s eye-candy and yet has an amazing personality that’s sure to make you smile, I’m the gal for you. Consider adopting me with Andromeda so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Delta #brother-of-Echo
DOB 3/4/2023
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Delta, a sweet, active, initially cautious red tabby fella whose slogan is “play very hard, and then snuggle in bed with Foster Meowmy.” Along with my brothers Blue and Echo, I’m one of the #Tip-Top-Trio of kittens who was brought by our friendly stray momma Mia when we were three weeks old to a lady’s apartment back patio. Thank heavens our future foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster our whole family!
I love to explore inside the long kitty tunnel where sometimes I even rest for a bit of snuggling with Echo. I’m always looking for another critter to play with. That could be my siblings, Momma Mia, the resident dog, or the other cats and foster kittens, including Yoon-gi, who’s a solo orphan who’s exactly our age. After I’m exhausted from chasing all the critters around the house, I collapse in a kitten puddle with my brothers and my toys.
Arrange to meet me today! And consider adopting Echo with me because two is better than one – and more fun! That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Dick Grayson #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you ready to befriend a loyal companion who’s smart, sweet, and handsome? Look no further than me, Dick Grayson! I’m a small ball of purrs who’s not just a kitten – I’m a potential lifelong companion who’s ready to steal your heart and bring joy to your home. I’m an energetic dude who’s no stranger to displaying my athletic prowess with my acrobatic flips. Yet after a day of dashing around, I love nothing more than snuggling up in Foster Meowmy’s lap for some quality bonding time. My soothing purrs are the ultimate stress-reliever for both of us!
Named after the first Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m an incredible feline hero who embodies the spirit of bravery and loyalty. I have a kind spirit that focuses on always being there to protect and comfort others. Because I’m an adorable ball of black fur who loves to be held, I have irresistible charm. Therefore, I’m extremely well-socialized as well as ready to meet any and all new friends.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with gorgeous, shiny fur and big golden eyes. My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. I have a penchant for watching things on screens – either alone or binging on Netflix and Animal Planet next to Foster Meowmy on the sofa.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be the perfect sidekick for all my new hooman’s life adventures. Please consider adopting me with another one of my #Batman-litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Dom #fast-and-furious-kitty
DOB 5/12/23
Dom (short for Dom Toretto) is fast and not so furious. This guy prefers the company of other cats to people, but allow him free reign, and he warms up to you. Dondi #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dondi, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and pale smudges of gray on my shoulders, back, and haunches.
My brothers, Banksy and Zephyr, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Zephyr. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling. When we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle with Banksy and may even nuzzle with our sweet momma Clara.
If you’re looking for hours of entertainment with a handsome fella’s who’s a feast to the eyes, I’m your man! Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with Zephyr (and don’t forget Banksy!) so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Just think – you can get all your cat-needs met with our little Instacat family.

Dorothy #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Dorothy, and I'm a beautifully-marked black and white tuxedo gal who has an adorable tomboy personality! I’m a little on the shy side, but I can’t resist chasing string and playing chase. I’m an independent lass who enjoys fun games, good food, and relaxing in soft places.
I'm one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with all types of toys as well as with the resident cats and other foster kittens -- especially my many siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we're exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of the other #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Drake #brother-of-Nikki
DOB 3/19/23
Looking for an affectionate, adventurous furry companion who loves people and thrives on attention? Well, I think I fill the bill! I’m Drake, a sweet gentle-giant of a brown tabby who likes to be held and petted -- that is, as long as I don’t get allured into jumping down to play with my siblings.
I follow Foster Meowmy everywhere because I want to know everything that’s going on and “help” her with whatever she’s doing. It’s amazing what I’ll do when Foster Meowmy tantalizes me with Temptations! I’ll come from wherever I am in the house when I hear her rattle the bag.
I’m the largest of my litter, which also includes Nikki and Sylvester. Also known as the #3-mouseketeers, we were rescued with our momma Nina as apartment-complex strays in southwest Houston. Now in our foster home, we have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and I relish every moment.
I’m friendly with the other kitties and tolerate the resident dogs in my foster home, and I’m never more aggressive than playing with a dog’s tail.
I’m especially close to my twin sister Nikki, and we hang out the most with each other. Often we lie in our cat bed and make biscuits together. It’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with Nikki. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Echo #brother-of-Delta
DOB 3/4/2023
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Echo, a sweet, curious, playful red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings whose slogan is “play very hard, and then snuggle in bed with Foster Meowmy.” Along with my brothers Blue and Delta, I’m one of the #Tip-Top-Trio of kittens who was brought by our friendly stray momma Mia when we were three weeks old to a lady’s apartment back patio. Thank heavens our future foster meowmy stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster our whole family!
She describes me as a “force of nature” because I’m always doing things that are beyond her control. I heard her tell someone, “Echo is always getting into things and messing with everyone else.” Hey, I’m just a fella who hates to be alone, so I’m always exploring the house and looking for another critter to play with. That could be my siblings, Momma Mia, the resident dog, or the other cats and foster kittens, including Yoon-gi, who’s a solo orphan who’s exactly our age.
And I cherish my toys! I especially love the feathered wand toy when Foster Meowmy waves it over my head so that I can display my athletic prowess as I lunge and pounce on it. After I’m exhausted from chasing all the critters around the house, I collapse in a kitten puddle with my brothers and my toys.
Arrange to meet me today! And consider adopting me with Delta because two is better than one – and more fun! That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Eleanor #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Eleanor, and I'm a sweet, gentle, friendly, and affectionate dilute tortie gal who loves to be picked up and cuddled by hoomans of all ages. I relish it when my foster family hugs me and kisses my very soft fur. I'm also an active, playful gal who adores it when they engage me with string and other toys that I can chase! My favorite activities are playing, eating, and cuddling.
I’m one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
It would be the cat's meow to be adopted into a home with nice friends who’d pick me up and love on me by showering me with lots of hugs and kisses. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! Eloise #house-panther
DOB 4/10/23
Imagine yourself with an affectionate, playful little house panther who politely approaches you to be petted and snuggled? I know you always appreciate it when your attention is not demanded, so I know just the right buttons to punch to endear myself to you. Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Eloise, an extremely loving black DSH/Bombay mix gal with large expressive eyes and a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats, and I’m no exception because I enjoy cuddling with Foster Meowmy.
When I was a four-week-old orphan, I was rescued from the wheel well of a big commercial truck. Boy howdy, I was glad to kiss the hardscrabble life away. I had no business being on my own at my tender age, but who knows what happened to my momma?
I fit beautifully into my foster home, especially since there was a pair of foster kittens almost exactly my age. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and then we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I also enjoy interactive play with my foster meowmy, especially when she rolls a ball with bells for me to chase. And when my fur buddies or Foster Meowmy aren’t around, I can entertain myself to my heart’s content by playing with crinkle toys and catnip mice, between catnaps, of course.
Now I’m ready for my forever, and I hope my black-panther beauty has captured your heart. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting a kitten playmate to keep me company while you’re at work or on vacation. I never want to be alone again!

Elsa #craves-treats
DOB 8/25/21
Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat.
I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home.
Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart

Elsa #Frozen-princess
DOB 4/2/23
Do you like dainty, lady-like kittens? Great! I may be your gal! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Elsa, a super-sweet dilute calico lass who’s a little more reserved than my #Frozen-sister Anna. Nevertheless, I can get the zoomies as I tear around Foster Meowmy’s bedroom. No harm done!
I was rescued with my siblings Anna and Stripey from a neighborhood in northwest Houston and brought to my foster home. We fit in perfectly with our foster mates, the Hobbit boys Frodo and Sam, because we’re all about the same age. We all have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready for my forever home! Arrange to meet me!

Elyse #mattress-tester
DOB 10-18-21
Some people call me a couch potato, but that couldn't be further from the truth! I'm a cat-tree enthusiast...a nap expert... and a great mattress tester. I'm the queen of slumbering and am not bothered by a lot of activity around me.
Have a zoom meeting? Don't expect me to pop up unannounced. You know where to find me. Come meet me today. I may or may not open my eyes to greet you. After all, I'm a lazy cat.

Felix #loves-fresh-catnip
DOB 7/1/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Felix, a very friendly, affectionate black and white tuxedo fella who loves it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears. I show my delight by giving kisses, a.k.a. licking her hand, as well as giving her super-gentle love bites.
I was born outside to a momma kitty and was routinely trapped and neutered when I was about six months old. Only problem was that after I’d briefly been kept indoors to recover from my neutering, I became terrified and anxious when I was put back outside again to live in the cat colony.
So Foster Meowmy brought me back inside and started showing me all the reasons I should trust her as the supplier of yummy food, brimming water bowls, and fresh catnip! I started enjoying her attention as well as mouse toys to destroy, scratchy dental toys to chew on, lasers to chase, and wand toys to display my athletic prowess. Yes, she succeeded in convincing me that indoor living is definitely worthwhile, so I kissed the hardscrabble life good-bye without looking back!
So I'm one of those rare kitties with a clipped ear (the universal sign of an altered cat) who's a convert from being an outdoor kitty to a strictly indoor one. Incidentally, there are advantages of adopting a kitty who's past the age of kitten mayhem. I'll be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me. I'm a handsome gent who will entertain you for hours with my playful antics. I promise to luxuriate as you scratch my chin and entice me with catnip!

Fiona #bundle-of-love
DOB 1/1/20
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Princess Fiona. Okay, it’s really just Fiona, but I like to think of myself as a princess. I’m a sweet, loving tortie-and-white gal, which means that I’m mostly black and red-tabby with white tuxedo markings. I LOVE my hoomans, and I mean LOVE them.
I make air biscuits a lot when Foster Meowmy rubs my back and belly, and I’m in kitty heaven when she scratches my chin or ears. Because I have a little bit of an overbite, I often purr with my mouth slightly open, which Foster Meowmy thinks is super cute.
She describes me as “full of love.” Although I don’t like to be picked up and held much, I love to climb up in Foster Meowmy’s lap, sit on her desk, or happily sleep on her bed. Unfortunately, I won’t be a great work-from-home buddy until I learn to stay off Foster Meowmy’s keyboard.
Interestingly, I have a “startle reflex” to scratch out when I don’t know who’s petting me while I sleep or while I’m just staring off into space. Foster Meowmy thinks I shouldn’t be adopted into a home with kids under eight years old because I would hate, in my surprise, to scratch someone by accident.
I merely tolerate the resident cats – as long as they are chill and don’t get in my face. On the other hand, I do not get along at all with the small friendly resident dog. It would be just fine with me if I were the only “pet” child because that means there’d be no competition for my hooman’s attention.
I’m a stunning plus-size model. I’ve got a large frame, but then again, I’m admittedly a little bit chubby. I love food. I see it, and I want to eat it! Since I’m not a picky eater, the best remedy is not to offer me free-choice food all day long. What should do the trick is a feeding schedule and interactive exercise for me to pounce, chase, and lunge when my Foster Meowmy dangles a wand toy over my head.
I was found as a stray in southwest Houston, so I’m grateful for my foster home. However, I know that a home of my very own is what’s best for me. If you’re looking for a kitty who will think that you’re the sun and the moon, I’m the bundle-of-love gal for you! Arrange to meet me!
Incidentally, one of the advantages of adopting an adult kitty like me who's past the rambunctious kitten stage is that I'll create less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

George #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Looking for a great furry companion who’s quite curious, funny, and silly? Then I’m you’re man! I’m George, and I’m a sweet and adorable spotted red tabby fella who loves playing with hoomans of all ages as well as other kittens. Yes, like George Weasely of Harry Potter fame, I'm a George with flaming red hair.
Although I’m initially shy, my curiosity gets the best of me, and I’ll follow Foster Meowmy all over the house because I can’t resist when she entices me to chase strings and to eat delicious food. I love to show off my athletic prowess by climbing the cat tree.
I’m one of the #crazy-8-gang who was born to a feral momma in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. Thankfully she scooped us all up to bring us inside. I love to play tag with my many siblings! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle for a nap.
I’m looking for a home where hoomans will play with me and love me a lot! I hope you’ll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with one of the #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

DOB 4/30/23
Have you heard of Mr Wonderful? Well, Georgio is Mr. Amazing. This sweet-tempered boy prefers laps to toys. But he can be found playing whole-heartedly with furry mice or crinkle balls if there aren't any laps available.
Georgio is also very handsome with his round orange face and golden eyes. And when he looks up at you, begging to be picked up, your heart will melt. Come meet the best kitty ever. You won't be disappointed.

Godzilla #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Howdy everyone! I’m Godzilla, a goofy, sassy, curious, and energetic brown tabby fella who’s proud of my monster-name. I may be a big boy like Godzilla, but I’m a sweet marshmallow at heart. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My sisters Mothra and Woobie were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. My foster mom heard my crying on a driveway, and she says that I’ve continued to let everyone know my opinions ever since. I was the runt of my litter and was bottle-fed by my foster family. Boy did I love my bottle!
Those “nursing” sessions ended up being a great time to bond with my humans and probably explain why I’m so sociable with people. The bottle has now been replaced with cat treats, which have probably contributed to my “plus-size.”
If you’re looking for a friendly feline companion who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your man! Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my sisters. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Goose #Top-gun-crew
DOB 5/18/23
Remember Goose, Maverick’s best friend and fighter-plane Radar Intercept Officer in the 1986 “Top Gun” movie? Well, I’m his namesake because I’m one of the #Top-Gun-crew of six kittens. I’m a sweet, handsome gray tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. My most stunning feature is my set of gorgeous green eyes, which are slightly crossed like those of a Siamese.
I’m a foster favorite around here because I’m not only fun to watch when I play so hard with all my toys, but I’m also friendly and very affectionate. Who can resist a love bug who wants to cuddle in your lap?

Guinevere #first-to-try-new-things
DOB 4/10/23
Do you remember Queen Guinevere of Camelot fame? Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m her brown-tabby namesake because I’m so regal and composed when I’m confronted with a new experience. Actually, although I’m the only girl in my litter with three brothers, I’m the one who’s always first to try something new and then smugly watch the boys figure it out.
I’m curious, courageous, and cuddly. I love to be picked up but will also let you know when I want to be put down. I’ve got a laid-back temperament and allow the newborn infant in my foster family to squeeze me tightly. I enjoy it when the neighborhood kids come to visit and play with me, and I just tolerate the resident dogs in my foster home.
My siblings The Bandit, Smokey, and PJ, and I were born to a feral momma kitty in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Momma was trapped, spayed, and released back outside while we kits were brought inside to live with Foster Meowmy.
All in all, I’m very adaptable and would thrive in almost any family/home environment. So arrange to meet me today! Consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Gus #spunky-6-pack
DOB 3/22/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Gus, and I’m a very sweet, playful red tabby fella who adores to be with my hoomans. I love to play with spring toys and ball spinners as well as my siblings in the #spunky-6-pack litter. I’m ultra-curious and get into all sorts of trouble! I also like to perch at the top of the cat tree to observe all the activity below me.
My momma Goldie Hawn showed up as a pregnant stray at a feral feeding station in Tyler. Thank heavens a HOPE volunteer transported her to Houston and delivered her to our foster meowmy’s home the day before we were born!
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with one of my #spunky-6-pack siblings. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Halo #Top-Gun-crew
DOB 5/18/23
Remember Halo, the female fighter-plane Weapons System Officer in the “Top Gun Maverick” movie? Well, I’m her namesake because I’m one of the #Top-Gun-crew of six kittens. I’m a sweet, very affectionate black and white “harlequin” beauty, which means that I’m mostly white with a large black crown on my head, several black patches on my back, and a black tail.
I luxuriate in Foster Meowmy’s attention! I love spending time in her lap as well as being cuddled like a baby in her arms. That’s when I turn on my purr machine, which sounds like an outboard motor, and admittedly I literally drool when I’m 100% contented. If I think that Meowmy’s forgotten me, I’ll reach up and gently touch her face as if to say, “Hey, I’m here. Love me!”
There’s nothing I like better than helping Foster Meowmy in her home office. In fact, thanks to my eager assistance cradled in her left arm, Meowmy's become quite proficient at one-handed typing.

Harry #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Harry, and I'm a sweet, adorable, playful red tabby fella who loves all sorts of balls! I chase them, play soccer with them, as well as carry around soft, fuzzy ones in my mouth. Just like Prince Harry, I have the "ginger gene," which is responsible for my flaming red hair.
I love to cuddle with Foster Meowmy as well as greet her with a "kitten handshake," i.e. touch my nose to her hand. I'm full of energy, and I’ll climb cat trees and chase strings all day long if she’ll play with me.
I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with one of the #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Harry #giant-lover-boy
DOB 8/1/21
Have you met big Harry, a true southern gentleman who fell on hard times? He's pretty rough around the edges from being beaten up by all the neighborhood male cats who thought he was their competition. But big Harry is more of a lover than a fighter, so he has a few scars to add to his sense of mystery.
All big Harry needs is a stable home where he can get lots of love and time to chill without worrying about what bad cat is around the corner ready to take him down. Please consider giving big Harry a chance.

Harry Potter #wizard-of-your-heart
DOB 2/27/21
Are you looking for a big lap cat who loves to cuddle and purr sweet nothings in your ear? If so, come to meet me, Harry Potter! I’m a large black DSH/Bombay mix fella with big globe eyes. I got my moniker because I’ve been a feline wizard who has worked magic on my Foster Meowmy’s heart. When she lies down, I drape myself on her neck like a big fur boa. (This would be appreciated in winter more than summer.)
There’s no better spot than snuggling beside her or in her lap while she gently scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks. That’s when I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We have lots of fun together when she dangles a string toy that I’ll chase all over the place!
Although I didn’t know what to do with toys when I first arrived, now I’m a playful dude. Boy howdy, I love pouncing on the ball with a jingle bell as well as catnip mice and crinkle toys. In every way I’m loving my new indoor “enriched” environment. In my quieter moments, I like gazing out the window to bird-watch as well as spy on the neighbors. I also like napping in a patch of sunshine on the window seat.
One day I appeared at Foster Meowmy’s feeding station along with her feral cats. She set a trap and expected to catch one of the elusive intact tomcats, but she caught me! She had me neutered and brought me home to recover from surgery in a spare bedroom before she released me. When she realized that I wasn’t running from her, she sat down with me while I ate. When I came over and let her pet me, she suddenly figured out that I was someone’s misplaced pet.
I’ve certainly made myself at home. Foster Meowmy was surprised that I’ve done great meeting her resident cats and that I didn’t even hiss or cower when the resident dog came over to sniff hello. She can only surmise that I used to be an indoor/outdoor cat in a home with other pets and that, since my hooman didn’t neuter me, my wanderlust got the best of me.
Now I’m looking to “make myself at home” in my forever abode. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me today, and I’ll let you guess the decibels on my purr motor. I promise that my paw prints will work their magic on YOUR heart! By the way, adopting an adult kitty like me who is past the mayhem of kittenhood has its advantages. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

Hobbs #little-guy
DOB 5/12/23
Baby Hobbs is a momma's boy. He loves snuggling with his momma, Queenie, or with other cats. He also loves curling up in a soft bed and napping to his heart's content. After all, he has lots of growing to catch up on!
Another of Hobb's favorite hobbies is eating canned food, especially Weruva chicken kitten food. He shows his appreciation by curling up in your lap and purring his heart out. Because of his age, Baby Hobbs needs to go home with another kitty or have another resident kitty who will play and nap with him. Choose Hobbs and you'll choose a lifetime of love

Iceman #Top-Gun-crew
DOB 5/18/23
Remember Iceman, Maverick’s former rival and wingman in the 1986 “Top Gun” movie and his close friend in the 2022 version? Although initially I was aloof like my name implies, I’ve turned out to be quite the affectionate fella. So I’m Iceman’s namesake just because I’m one of the #Top-Gun-crew of six kittens. I’m a sweet, handsome, macho-looking solid-gray fella with white tuxedo markings who adores being picked up and loved on. I’m the giant of my litter and remind my foster family of Tom from the Tom and Jerry cartoons.
I’m hilarious when I’m in play-mode. When I’m chasing the wand toy, I’ll show off my athletic prowess by my flying leaps with all four limbs spread out in the air before I pounce on my “prey.” My most stunning feature is my set of gorgeous green eyes, which are slightly crossed like those of a Siamese.

Indy #copper-penny-eyes
DOB 9/1/21
Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My mom Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful.
My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds.
I hope you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so glad that I came to my HOPE foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability.
Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station!

Iris #flower-child
DOB 2/20/23
Here's Iris, a quiet tabby boy who will warm your heart with his sweet ways. He's a gentle creature and would make a great emotional-support kitty. Feeling down or lonely? Iris will sit in your lap and purr to comfort you. He also likes to check out the new releases on TV with you.
Iris has a playful side too and loves exploring to find new adventures. Who doesn't need a kind-hearted kitty in their lives?

Jack Jack #high-5-gang
DOB 5/16/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Jack Jack, a sweet, vivacious, and playful black and white bicolor fella who’s the largest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. Since I have only white on my face, it looks like I have a black beret atop my head.
Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. I’m the leader of all the mischief in my family because I’m full of energy and will play with anything and everything from dawn to dusk. I love to play soccer with all toys as well as to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Jacob #brother-of-Kojak
DOB 3/11/23
They say tabby cats make great hunters, but not this tabby cat. Jacob prefers the kitty MMA ring where he can go head-to-head with his brother Kojak, tumbling and wrestling, jumping and pouncing.
Jacob doesn't always play fair when he hides and surprises Kojak by springing out at him. Then the fun begins... This entertaining duo would love to be adopted together or in a household with another playful kitty.

Jaime #brave-scaredy-cat
DOB 4/2/23
Born the day after April Fools Day, Jaime is a one-of-a-kind tuxedo girl. (Did you know two tuxedos are never totally identical?) Jaime seems to want to break out of her shy outer shell and become an adventurous kitten who might climb to the top of My Everest. (The only cat that has ever made it was a tuxedo.)
This sweet bi-color girl prefers play time to cuddle time, and she's the first one to volunteer for bug patrol, having a near perfect catch record. But make no mistake, this girl hates housework and steers clear of the vacuum cleaner. Her favorite treat? Dried stinky fish. A kitty favorite.

Jamie Tartt #brother-of-Ted-Lasso
DOB 5/5/23
Are you familiar with Jamie Tartt, the talented but egotistical, young up-and-coming soccer striker in the TV series “Ted Lasso?” Foster Meowmy loves the series and named me Jamie Tartt because I’m like a feline tornado who races around the house as I play with anything that resembles a toy! I may be full of kitten energy, but, rest assured, I really love to snuggle with Foster Meowmy as she gently strokes me.
I’m a very affectionate medium-haired brown tabby fella who turns on my purr motor the second Foster Meowmy picks me up to cuddle. I like her to know how much I’m enjoying her attention, and I can purr as loud as an outboard motor. It’s perfect white noise in case she needs a nap.
I'm the smarty pants of my litter because I taught myself how to use the automatic litterbox on my own! One of my quirks that amuses Foster Meowmy is that, after I’ve drunk all the water in my bowl, my tongue keeps lapping up imaginary water.
Along with my brothers Ted Lasso and Roy Kent, I was born to a feral momma who was trapped, spayed, and released when we were about a month old. Thank heavens future Foster Meowmy responded to the trapper’s plea to socialize us so we could have enriched indoor lives.
I’d love to be adopted with Ted Lasso, but a new cat sibling who will play and wrestle with me would be okay too. Arrange to meet me today! I’d love to cuddle with you and leave tiny paw prints all over your heart!

Jason Todd #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you longing for a furry friend who's as full of energy as affection? Meet me, charismatic and spirited Jason Todd, who's ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your life. I’m a kitten who's always ready to embark on new and thrilling experiences. Beyond my adventurous demeanor, I have a softer side that adores cuddles and quality time with Foster Meowmy. What's a love of exploration if I have no one to share it with? I’m always there for her in an instant, ready to provide comfort after a long day.
Named after the third Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my outgoing personality and heart of gold. My energy knows no bounds! I’m a whirlwind of fun and games that’s always ready to chase after toys, pounce on imaginary prey, and keep Foster Meowmy entertained with my boundless enthusiasm.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with expressive gold eyes and sprinkles of salt mixed in my black fur. I’m an instant head-turner, if I do say so myself. My gorgeous appearance is matched only by my captivating personality, which adds up to my being a kitten few will be able to resist.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be Johnny-on-the-spot to comfort my hooman after a long day. Perhaps my next adventure is with you! Please consider adopting me with another one of my #Batman-litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Jenna #cuddle-expert
DOB 9/21/18
Looking for a sweet, affectionate kitty who will make you feel cherished by her gentle purrs and head nudges? Then I’m the perfect gal for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Jenna, a loyal and loving black DSH/Bombay gal who’s a real cuddle expert. At bedtime, I curl up next to Foster Meowmy to share her warmth and comfort throughout the night.
Although I’m initially timid when I meet someone, once they warm up to me and I get to know them, I luxuriate in being stroked down my back as well as scratched on my chin, cheeks, and ears. I’m more of a lap cat than a fan of being picked up and carried around. My eyes light up with excitement at the sight and smell of snacks because I’m always up for a tasty treat. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the birds outside the window because I’m captivated by their graceful flights and playful chirps.
My street-stray momma ran inside future Foster Meowmy’s home and immediately birthed my litter of four under her bed. Foster Meowmy turned to HOPE to help get us vetted as well as adopted, and, sure enough, I was adopted as the Pet of the Week at the PetSmart Pearland.
Unfortunately, I was found in a trap several years later. I can’t explain to Foster Meowmy exactly what happened, but she thinks either I was dumped outdoors, or else I dashed out the door and couldn’t find my way back home. As a previously indoor kitty, I wasn’t used to foraging for prey, so the yummy food attracted me inside the trap. Of course, the was traced back to HOPE through my trusty microchip, thank heavens.
When Meowmy took me to the vet to get updated vaccines, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Who knows how long I’d been outside, but probably I contracted FIV from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as my dental health is routinely monitored and prompt attention is given to any urinary-tract or upper-respiratory infections.
Despite my loving nature, I’ve admittedly had some real setbacks in my life. However, my spirit has never been dampened! I certainly deserve a caring and understanding family the second time around. With my endearing personality and undying devotion, I promise to be a constant source of joy and love in my next family’s life.
Arrange to meet me today! And you know there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s outgrown the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Jinx #brother-of-Binx
DOB 5/24/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Jinx, an adorable and playful black DSH/Bombay mix fella who was taken from my feral momma with my brother Binx when we were weaned. Thank heavens a nice HOPE TNR volunteer scooped us up so we could live enriched indoor lives with people instead of fending for ourselves outside in the Houston weather.
It’s hard for Foster Meowmy to find one of us without the other because we eat together, play together, and nap together. She put a yellow collar on me to distinguish me. The only other difference is that I’m a little more interested in food than Binx.
We’re “attached at the hip,” so to speak. We love to play and run around each other. Since we’re so bonded, Foster Meowmy would be delighted if we could be adopted together. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet us today!

Joanie #harlequin-lass
DOB 9/01/21
Mew! Mew, everyone! I'm sweet and loving Joanie, a beautifully-marked "harlequin" gal who's very sociable, easygoing, and undemanding. In case you're not familiar with a "harlequin" cat because we're pretty rare, I'm mostly white with several large patches of black outlined in silver tabby on my head, back, and tail - kind of like a pinto or piebald horse. I'm a sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself!
Let's see - what are a few of my favorite things?
*Neck scratches, for one!
*Finding a patch of sunshine on the windowsill so I can sunbathe while I nap.
*Getting myself all comfy in a hidey hole like an enclosed bed or even a box.
You see, I was heavily pregnant when I was found scrounging around for food outside a country Dollar Store in the middle of nowhere. I birthed my three kittens, Maggie, Max, and Oreo, shortly after a HOPE volunteer rescued me and brought me inside her home.
Sometimes I can be a little quiet and shy because I’ve been a bit disrupted by being shifted among several foster homes through no fault of my own. I'd love to luxuriate in the peace and quiet of your home, so come to meet me and become my forever family!

Kai #loving-and-affectionate
DOB 3/22/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Kai, and I’m a loving, affectionate, gentle, playful red tabby fella who’s the biggest of my #spunky-6-pack litter. Foster Meowmy predicts that I’ll grow up to be a gentle giant. I love to play with toys as well as my siblings. After we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, I like to find a patch of sunlight on a window ledge to take a long-deserved nap.
My momma Goldie Hawn showed up as a pregnant stray at a feral feeding station in Tyler. Thank heavens a HOPE volunteer transported her to Houston and delivered her to our foster meowmy’s home the day before we were born!
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Consider adopting me with another kitten. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Katy Kitty #loves-to-snuggle
DOB 12/1/17
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Katy Kitty, a sweet, loving, and affectionate tuxedo gal who loves to give my foster meowmy kisses. When I’m not snuggled up to her in bed or on the sofa, I like to sit in the window sill and observe the wildlife outside. Every morning we have a little ritual when I get my Temptation treats. Every now and then I’ll allow myself to roll around in loose catnip, but I’m a bit particular about getting myself dirty, so I do it sparingly.
I also love to play with my toys but particularly when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head. Even though I’m very attached to my Foster Meowmy, I do enjoy my time alone. I get along with my feline roommate Flower #power as well as other cats and dogs, but I prefer hooman companionship.
Flower #power and I are devastated that, after living with our owner for our entire lives, we now need to find new adoptive homes because our owner had to relocate and couldn’t take us with her. I loved her so much because she was so patient and attentive to me. I wonder if she misses me as much as I miss her.
Well, I can’t cry over spilt milk, so I’m looking ahead and hoping for a bright future with another caring hooman. Could that be you? Although we're available separately, consider adopting me with Flower #power so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. By the way, there are advantages to adopting an adult kitty who’s past the destructive phase of kitten mayhem. I’m less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories.

King #lookin-4-a-good-time
DOB 3/15/23
King and his siblings were found in an attic when they were 3 weeks old. No one ever located the momma cat, so the finders brought the orphans to a HOPE foster home.
King has developed into the most loving and friendly kitty. He will jump in your lap for snuggles or go off and play with other kitties or by himself. He magically seems to get along with any kitty we put him with. He likes other kitties to groom him and will sometimes snuggle up with them.
This handsome fella loves running and exploring. He also gets along with cat friendly dogs. Give King a chance and you'll be rewarded with unconditional love.

KitKat #lounges-with-meowmy
DOB 3/16/21
Well hello! I’m KitKat, a sweet-tempered, playful dilute tortoiseshell gal who loves to lounge around with my foster meowmy. If she’s not available, I’ll bask in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill and watch the squirrels and birds and the rest of the world go by.
But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I can play with the best of them! I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with the other foster kittens, and when we’re all tuckered out, we’ll collapse in a kitten puddle.
I can entertain myself too with balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. I live to hunt and fetch lost toys. Foster Meowmy says that I’m beautiful AND a real sweetie, so you best waste no time arranging to meet me today. I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Come meet Kojak and see how perfect he is for you. And if you can, he would love to have his brother Jacob come with him.

Lily #the-cats-meow
DOB 5/1/22
This is Lily, a totally unremarkable brown tabby young-adult kitty. But if you know tabby cats, they are the best companions ever. The best gift ever is to win the heart of a cat, and Lily gives her love freely and without reservation.
Lily is an introvert looking for a similar person to spend her life with. She doesn't like loud or very active households, but is SO affectionate when she feels comfortable. This tiger-striped beauty likes a quiet place to hide initially but then will venture out to seek pets. Lily would love to spend her 9 lives with you.

Little Bobbie #snuggle-girl
DOB 4/7/22
Hello everyone! I’m Little Bobbie, and I’m an adorable, petite dilute gray tabby kitten with white mittens and locket. Don’t you love my sweet, angelic face?
I was a two-week-old orphan, covered in leaves and sticks, when I was rescued from a field. Neighbors had witnessed dogs chasing away my mother; alas, she never re-appeared. Several cat lovers took me inside and bottle-fed me along with several other bottle-babies, Butch, Sundance, and Violet, who are my same age.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’d love to be adopted with one of my favorite playmates. That way we can play all day while you work or go on vacation.
I get along great with the 3 resident adult cats and 2 big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove. Arrange to meet me today!

Loki #low-key-lovebug
DOB 4/1/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I'm Loki, a sweet, gentle, easy-going dilute torbie gal with white tuxedo markings who loves it when Foster Meowmy scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin as well as when she brushes me softly. Torbie means that I'm a pale brown tabby with random patches of buff tabby. The effect is quite striking as it looks like I've gotten sprinkled with caramel in a candy factory!
I got my name Loki because I'm LOW-KEY! I'd fit best in a quiet, calm home with equally low-key kitties and without noisy children or barking dogs. If there's too much noise or commotion going on around me, I cautiously retreat to a safe spot. I allow Foster Meowmy to pick me up and hold me, but, like most kitties, frankly I feel safer on the ground.
During a major storm, I was rescued with my litter of five kittens from an apartment complex. We were all grateful to be safe inside our foster home where we could kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye. I realized right away that Foster Meowmy was an angel, and it took me only two weeks to allow her 23-pound resident poodle around me and my babies.
Now that my babies are weaned and I'm fixed so I'll never get pregnant again, I'm ready to find my furever home. Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me! Foster Meowmy testifies that I'm as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside!

Louisa #melts-your-heart
DOB 8/1/21
Louisa, you "had me at hello.'' You walked up to me and looked up with those pretty green eyes, and I melted. I knew I couldn't leave you and your 3 babies at that small rural shelter with little chance of adoption. You are so very sweet and gentle. You don't ask for much...an occasional head rub and kitty food at dinnertime. Not much upsets you. You are the most chill cat ever, once you've settled in.

Lu #chill-tortie
DOB 4/9/21
Have you met Mama Lu, aka Miss Lu, aka LuluLove? She's somewhat independent and prefers to stay out of your way, but doesn't mind the ocasional demonstration of love. She allows you to pet her, kiss her and hold her for a few minutes at the time. But once she's had enough you'll know.
Lu likes to play with her foster siblings but not for long periods of time. This independent spirit would do well in a quiet home and even one where people are gone for hours at a time. She is 100% capable of entertaining herself. This sweet tortie is waiting to meet you.

Lucy Goose #friendly-foursome
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Lucy Goose, a sweet-faced, sociable, and playful gray tabby gal who loves to hang out with everyone! That includes my foster family, my sisters, the resident dog and cats, and any visitors who happen to be around. I’m up for either chilling by the side of a hooman or animal --- or playing with my sisters --- or interacting with the wand toy with my hoomans.
Are you a photographer who loves to take pictures? I can model for you! Because I have the face of a cherub, Foster Meowmy says I look great in every picture she takes of me!
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Alice, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed.
Although we haven’t been around kids in our foster home, I’m sure we’d be fine with well-mannered children because we’ve been very comfortable around the Great Pyrenees dog and the other resident cats. These kitties have acted like aunts and uncles who've taught us everything that our momma would've taught us if she'd been around.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I promise that I’ll shine in my new home if you are my loving family. Consider adopting me with another one of the #friendly-foursome. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Luna #chatty-girl
DOB 3/10/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Luna, and I'm a sweet, gentle, playful gray and white tuxedo gal who likes to curl up with Foster Meowmy while she reads or watches TV and to snuggle with her in bed. I can carry on quite a “conversation” with Foster Meowmy. I listen carefully when she talks to me, look intently into her eyes, and then meow back to her. I’m like her shadow because I follow her around and am especially curious when she’s doing her chores.
I was rescued from under the deck in a nice lady's back yard. I was hiding from the neighbor's dog, who managed to kill my sibling. I’m so grateful that I ended up in the safety of my HOPE foster home.
I get along great with the resident orange tabby, who tolerates my jumping on him as well as playing with his tail. Boy howdy! Do I love it when Foster Meowmy dangles the wand toy over my head or flashes the laser light for me to chase!
I can be initially shy when meeting new people, and I clam up in new surroundings. I don’t show well at adoption events because I freeze up in my cage with all the noise and chaos. However, the good news is that once I get to know someone and get acclimated to my new “digs,” it’s not long before I open up and come out of my shell. If you can get past my discomfort in the unknown and see my loving heart and gentle temperament that quickly blossom in the right environment, I think I could be your purrfect companion.
If you're looking for a total sweetheart with fur as soft as velvet, I'm your gal! Arrange to meet me today!

Mario #mama-mia
DOB 4/2/2023
Who doesn't love Mario? Come meet Mario and get some Mario Time. While this kitty is somewhat timid meeting new people, he is happy and playful in his foster home. He loves snoozing on the coffee table after he plays with his brothers Bowser, Luigi, and Star.
While Mario has bursts on energy, he likes to sit with you and snuggle when he gets tired. Mario needs you to join in the fun with him and come meet him soon.

Marzipan #pretty-little-thing
DOB 6/4/23
Marzipan is like the sweet confection that allows you to mold it into anything you want. She craves love and attention but is afraid to approach you to ask for it. This introverted cutie was born in a country shelter without much human contact, so she is still learning to trust people. But she really just wants to feel safe with you.
You can pick up this teddy-bear girl, and she will relax in your lap. She also likes to be bundled up close to you while you watch TV or work from home. Come meet Marzipan and shape her into your loving companion.

Maverick #Top-gun-crew
DOB 5/18/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Maverick, and I was named for the daredevil fighter pilot who starred in both the “Top Gun” movies. I’m one of the #Top-Gun crew of six kittens, and I've been affectionate ever since I arrived in my foster home. As a sweet, handsome green-eyed “bicolor” fella, I’m mostly white with light-brown tabby on my head, back, and tail.
I’m a lovable guy who demands reciprocal love and attention from my foster family. I’ve always been comfortable stretching out and lying “belly up.” I’m such a playful guy that one of the resident adult cats got tired of my pestering her and finally scratched me on the nose!

McDuffy #furry-five
DOB 5/3/23
Sometimes I feel like an ugly duckling because all my siblings are some shade of gray while I’m a ginger tabby. I’m certainly easy to pick out in the family photos! But my momma told me the rest of the fairy tale, and now I’m convinced that I’m really a handsome swan!
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m McDuffy, a sweet, friendly, people-loving pale-red tabby fella who marches right up to all hoomans to pet me and cuddle with me. You see, I had a minor eye infection as a newborn, so Foster Meowmy handled me several times a day to apply warm compresses on my eyes, which explains why I’m such a lovebug. I’m somewhat of a loner with my siblings, so I often entertain myself by playing soccer with balls with bells or display my athletic prowess by engaging with Foster Meowmy with the wand toy.
Momma sought shelter from a bad May rain storm inside the garage of the local cat lady who feeds the neighborhood strays. To the cat lady’s surprise when she went out to her garage the next morning, Momma was waiting inside a cat condo with our litter of tiny newborns. The nice cat lady brought us inside, christened Momma “Surprise,” and became our foster meowmy.
Now I’m all ready for my forever home. If you know what it’s like to be different from the rest of your family, I’m the kitty for you! Arrange to meet me today!

Mia #bed-buddy
DOB 4/15/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Mia, a gentle, friendly, easy-going, playful patched tabby with white tuxedo markings who loves to spend time in my foster meowmy’s lap or bed. Don't you love my prominent peach-colored blaze on my nose and forehead?
I was a friendly, abandoned young stray who was living paw-to-mouth in an apartment complex. One day I brought my three 3-week-old kittens to the lady who had been feeding me. One thing led to another, and I eventually arrived in my HOPE foster home, where I proved to be a loving and protective teenage momma.
Now that my kits are weaned and I’m “fixed,” I’m ready for my forever home. I’d do great in a home with other cats or dogs but probably not young children. I’m young and playful yet past the kitten craziness, so I’d be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your prized possessions. Arrange to meet me today!

Mickey #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Hello there! I'm Mickey, and I'm a very sweet, playful, beautifully-marked gray and white tuxedo fella who just loves the adults and kids in my foster family. I enjoy being picked up and cuddled, and that's when I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. I love to roll around, chase, and play with all sorts of toys. When I’m tuckered out, I like to nap with Foster Meowmy.
I would love to be adopted into a nice family who will cuddle and play with me. I promise to bring lots of love and joy to them. I hope you'll arrange to meet me! Consider adopting me with one of the other #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Midnight #pretty-girl
DOB 5/24/23
Meet Midnight, a stunningly cute, medium-haired, green-eyed beauty with the cutest dark "toe beans!" Midnight is as laid-back as a kitten can be and doesn't let much phase her. She isn't much of an adventurous soul; she would rather just perch on a kitty tree watching the world go by.
Midnight appreciates being groomed or brushed and may fall asleep afterwards. And if you really want to win Midnight's heart, just offer her canned food. She will love you forever.

Miguel and Tuelio (bonded brothers)
DOB 3/15/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! We’re Miguel and Tuelio, a bonded pair of brown-tabby brothers who are ultra-sweet, friendly, and affectionate. We love to cuddle with our hoomans almost as much as with each other. We’re a happy pair who’s always purring and making biscuits, whether we’re snuggled with each other or having our chins scratched in Foster Meowmy’s lap.
A Good Samaritan found us and dropped us off at PetSmart/Pearland, and thankfully our foster meowmy agreed to welcome us into her home until we can find a fantastic forever home. She’s insisting that we be adopted together because we’re inseparable best friends who love each other very much.
We fit into our foster home beautifully. We enjoy playing with each other as well as when Foster Meowmy interacts with us using a wand toy with enticing hanging balls. We’re also curious and love to explore, so watch those open cabinet and closet doors! We may sneak inside for a peek.
I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “It’s been amazing watching Miguel and Tuelio grow up into such fine young gentlemen. They’d be a wonderful addition to any family. We hate to see them go, but they deserve a forever home to share their abundant love with their forever owners.” Hope you’re convinced that you should arrange to meet us right away! We plan to be at the PetSmart/Pearland Saturday adoption day every week.

Miss Trip #plume-tail
DOB 1/1/20
Do you love kitties with soft, silky fur and wispy plume tails? Then I’m the girl for you because I’ve got a just such fur and tail! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Miss Trip, a sweet, initially shy, quiet, laid-back dilute tortie Maine Coon mix gal with white tuxedo markings – mittens on my front paws, go-go boots on my back legs, and a large, long bib on my chest and belly.
I come morning and evening to rub against Foster Meowmy’s legs, and this is my signal that I want her to stroke my back gently or scratch my cheeks, ears, or chin. Meowmy has learned that I’m not a fan of being picked up. Of course, I’m hoping that Meowmy has some Greenies or squeezable/lickable tuna treats for me!
Whereas I like to sleep during the day, morning and evenings are when I get playful. This could mean jumping in and out of boxes, chasing a red laser dot, zooming through tunnels, or swatting dangly toys on my cat tree.
I had been living in a colony of community cats, but unfortunately the lady who had been feeding us abandoned us just when I needed her the most. You see, she hadn’t spayed me, and I ended up birthing a litter of kittens in another neighbor’s yard. As luck would have it, it was my future foster meowmy’s aunt’s yard, and sure enough, Foster Meowmy brought us all to safety inside her home.
I’m an independent gal who was used to fending for myself, so it took me awhile to adjust to living indoors with people who loved me. With time, I started opening up once I learned that I could trust Foster Meowmy. Now I’ve heard her tell people “Trip is a doll!”
I’m ready to find my forever home, so I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. I'd prefer a calm, tranquil home with no dogs or kids. I’ll appeal best to people who like quiet, undemanding kitties who are past the stage of kitten mayhem. This way I’ll cause much less chaos in your home and not break any of your treasured accessories. Meanwhile, I’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Missy Longstocking #docile-lapcat
DOB 4/15/22
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m very, very sweet, friendly, and curious Missy Longstocking, a sleek, elegant harlequin gal with big jade-globe eyes and who’s mostly white with large patches of dark gray. Foster Meowmy named me “Longstocking” because I’m tall with graceful legs that look to be wearing gray stockings. Meowmy is amazed that I don’t have one ounce of “catitiude,” and I heard her exclaiming that I’m the most docile cat she’s ever met.
Although I’m not a big fan of being picked up, I happily curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. We then enjoy prime-time together as she gently brushes me or offers me my favorite TikiCat-brand squeezable treats. But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I adore interactive play as Foster Meowmy waves the fishing-wand toy over my head because I can show off my acrobatic prowess as I lunge and pounce on my “prey.”
How did I, as such a stunningly beautiful thoroughbred-like kitty, end up needing a home? A Good Samaritan was driving down Beltway 8 when she spotted me, partially inside a bag, as I huddled in the median. Thank heavens that my rescuer’s not scared of much, so she pulled over and grabbed me fast. Upon closer scrutiny when we got home, she saw that I was a little bruised and very traumatized but overall healthy and uninjured.
Now that my nicks and scrapes have healed and I’m fully vetted, I’m happily and safely ensconced in my foster home awaiting my forever family. I haven’t been around kids or other cats yet, but I was fine around a small, polite dog and terrified around a barking Doberman. (Now who wouldn't be?) Since I’m friendly and well-adjusted, I might be very compatible with well-behaved children and cat-friendly dogs. Other cats? TBD.
If you’re looking for a beautiful and resilient Lady-Long-Legs, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me so we can exchange warm cuddles and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor. Incidentally, one of the advantages of adopting a young kitty like me who's past the rambunctious kitten stage is that I'll create less chaos in your home and not be as likely to break your treasured accessories.

Mochi #retired-panhandler
DOB 2/15/21
Hi, I'm Mochi, a sweet black kitty who was found with my daughter Muffin wandering the streets begging for food. A kind lady took us in and is trying to find us forever homes.
I'm lucky in that I won't ever have to fight to survive a hardscrabble life of a street-stray ever again. I'm not so lucky in that I contracted FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), probably from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on "casually" by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as special attention is routinely given to my dental health and prompt attention is given to secondary infections of my urinary tract or upper respiratory system.
Please consider adopting me. I promise to enrich your life with my charming ways.

Molly #sweet-natured
DOB 7/1/22
They say you can't save them all, but we are overjoyed that we were able to save Molly and her kittens. This sweet-natured Siamese kitty was a good momma to her kittens and now is taking applications for a home of her own.
Molly is gentle and friendly and SO easy to care for. She's not a demanding kitty and would just appreciate a soft bed, regular meals, and a little bit of attention from time to time.

Moo Moo #brother-of-Moony
DOB 5/27/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Moo Moo, an independent, adventurous, beautifully-marked tuxedo fella who loves belly rubs as well as being picked up to be cuddled and kissed. I got my name because I look like a “moo cow.” I have no respect for Foster Meowmy’s personal space and brazenly like to cuddle as close as I can to her face. I’m always looking for a 2-legged or 4-legged critter to play with, although I was admittedly a little tentative with the young children in my foster family until I got acquainted with them.
When my sister Moony and I were about three weeks old, a Good Samaritan found us as orphans because a dog had killed our mom. As soon as future Foster Meowmy saw our sweet little faces, she agreed to take us into her home and bottle-feed us. We responded to her nurturing and fought to get back our health. It seemed like no time before we went from our fragile, malnourished condition to eating and playing all day long!
It helped that the family dog acted as a surrogate mom to us, even though admittedly she overly groomed us. We never complained! And we fit right in with the other older foster kittens to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until we collapsed exhausted in a kitten puddle. We eventually received the "baton" that was passed to us so we could teach and play gently with a four-week-old orphan tuxedo kitten when she arrived.
If you’re looking for a fearless, curious, yet cuddly, kid-friendly, pet-friendly kitten to fit into your home, I’d be a great choice. If you have no other pets, consider adopting me with Moony so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Moony #sister-of-MooMoo
DOB 5/27/23
Did you know that in Japan calico cats are thought to bring good luck? If your life needs a good-luck charm, I may be the furry talisman that you’ve been hankering for. Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Moony, and I’m a very curious, cuddly, beautifully-marked calico gal who loves belly rubs, kisses, and snuggling close to my hoomans of all ages, including the young children in my foster home. I got my name because my coloring matches a Moon Pie.
We calico girls are renowned for our spunky, assertive personalities while simultaneously we’re sweet, loving, and loyal, and I’m no exception. I’m generally independent and don’t require constant attention, but I readily respond to the loving companionship of my entire foster family. Although I’m initially shy, I’m affectionate, friendly, and playful.

Mothra #monster-duo-kitty
DOB 8/24/19
Well hello everyone! I’m Mothra, a smart, gregarious, curious brown tabby "princess" with white tuxedo markings. I was named after a giant flying moth that was a popular "heroic" monster in horror films. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I’m a “talker” who chirps and trills for everyone when I greet them, and then I plop down to receive a good belly rub.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My siblings Godzilla and Woobie were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. Although I'm available separately, i t would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, chatty princess who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Mowgli #brother-of-Bagheera
DOB 9/10/22
Looking for a low-maintenance kitty? One who doesn't ask for much, but gives so much in return? Then Mowgli's your guy. This sweetheart loves any and all cat toys. In fact he can turn anything into a toy...a paper bag, a cardboard box, a balled up piece of paper, or a bottle cap. You get the idea.
Mowgli also is a shadow cat who will follow you from room to room, not necessarily needing attention, but just loves to be with his person. Mowgli doesn't necessarily like to be picked up, but he will come over and sit in your lap. Come meet Mowgli soon.

Nemo #crazy-8-gang
DOB 3/6/23
Needing someone to talk to? I could just be your man! Hello there! I'm Nemo, and I'm a super-soft and talkative red tabby fella who was named for the famous clownfish in the Disney movie. I’m especially chatty when it’s breakfast time and I'm asking for yummy canned chicken.
I’m a sweet boy who loves to be picked up and cuddled, and that’s when I turn on my purr machine, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. I’m a playful guy who’s "all in" when Foster Meowmy engages me with strings and feather wand toys. Then when I’m all tuckered out, I’ll relax in Foster Meowmy’s lap or next to her in bed as we nap together on warm afternoons.
I’m looking for a forever home where I can play, eat, and hang out with friends. I hope you'll arrange to meet me so I can leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Consider adopting me with one of the other #crazy-8-gang so we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Nikki #sister-of-Drake
DOB 3/19/23
Looking for an affectionate furry companion who loves to be the recipient of your attention? Well, I think I fill the bill! I’m Nikki, a sweet, friendly, outgoing kitten who follows Foster Meowmy everywhere because I want to be involved in whatever she’s doing, whether it’s brushing her teeth or cleaning the litter box. When she lies on the bed, I like to snuggle peacefully next to her side.
I’m the bravest of my litter, which also includes my brothers Drake and Sylvester. Also known as the #3-mouseketeers, we were rescued with our momma Nina as apartment-complex strays in southwest Houston. Now in our foster home, we have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and I relish every moment.
I get along great with the resident cats and friendly dog in my foster home. I’m adventurous and try to play with the other kitties. I’m never aggressive with any of them, but they’re older and won’t have a thing to do with me.
I’m especially close to my twin brother Drake, and we hang out the most with each other. Often we lie in our cat bed and make biscuits together. It’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting us as a bonded pair. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me (and Drake, for that matter!) today!

Olive #demure-beauty
DOB 5/7/23
Are you the type of person who appreciates a cute, docile girl who prefers old-fashioned courting and doesn’t kiss on the first date? Then I’m the lass for you! I’m Olive, a quiet, initially shy, and extremely playful black DSH/Bombay mix gal who marches to the beat of my own drum. When Foster Meowmy lies down, I like to attack her feet by throwing air punches and wrestling them. I like to hang out in the periphery of the family action, which includes the resident dog and cat, my momma Chalupa and siblings, as well as, of course, Foster Meowmy.
I’m an introvert who can be oblivious to what’s going on around me when I’m “lost in the moment” while playing with my toys. Any household item -- napkins, hair clips, gloves --becomes a toy for me. I go crazy over small balls or mini-mice, and I’m like a soccer player once I get going. I keep Foster Meowmy entertained as she watches me do my cute attack moves! When I’ve triumphed over my "prey," then I proudly carry my prize around in my mouth.
I love when Foster Meowmy entices me with wand toys, especially the one with feathers and bells on the end. Once she “rings ‘dem bells,” I come running! I’m a master at entertaining myself because it’s a blast to charge through the cat tunnel, roll balls around the track, do a flying leap onto the tall, sturdy scratching post, as well as scale the cat tree. Foster Meowmy thinks it’s hilarious when I do the sideways “crab walk” and when I crawl upside-down along the wooden bed rail.
Foster Meowmy has been challenged socializing me because I’m not very food-motivated. When my littermates are racing to the kitchen when they hear the cat-food can pop, I usually continue what I’m doing, unfazed by their frenzy. Let’s say that I like to be the one who initiates interaction with Foster Meowmy. At first I froze when she came near or touched me, but fortunately she’s been patient to allow me to warm up at my own pace. I’m still not a fan of being picked up, but when Meowmy does entice me into her lap, I relax when she gently strokes me under my chin, the length of my nose, and between my eyes.
My three siblings and I were only days old when our momma, a.k.a Chalupa Supreme, chose to nurse us at future Foster Meowmy’s front door. Thanks heavens Meowmy immediately scooped up all five of us to bring us inside to safety. Now I’m ready to move to my forever home, and in light of my having "the shy gene," Foster Meowmy thinks I’d do best if my hoomans patiently allow me to blossom out of my shell. Although I’m low-maintenance and undemanding, Meowmy believes that I would actually flourish in a home where my hoomans could give me more one-on-one attention than she’s been able to give me in light of her work schedule and the other pets in my foster home.
For that reason, I could do fine as a solo kitty because I have no problem entertaining myself as long as I have my toys to keep me busy. On the other hand, I would probably do okay with other animals, with proper introductions. Another young kitten would be my best playmate, or it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with my look-alike momma, Chalupa Supreme. Arrange to meet me today! I invite you to come watch me do my signature sideways “crab walk.”

Oreo #masked-hero
DOB 4/27/23
Did you always have a penchant for masked heroes like the Lone Ranger, Batman, Spider Man, and Zorro? Well, I may just be the dude for you! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Oreo, a sweet, friendly, outgoing bicolor fella whose whole head is a mask, more like Batman’s! “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail.
I was rescued as an orphaned dumpster-diver behind a warehouse in southwest Houston. The employees weren’t sure whether or not I was dumped by my heartless owner, but they fortunately reached out to HOPE for help finding me a forever home.
I arrived in my foster home to join another rescued dumpster-diver, Skittles, as well as the whole #furry-five gang. We were all born within two weeks of each other, so the seven of us have had a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other like one big happy family.
I’ve emerged as the group’s leader, maybe because I honed my survival skills when I was foraging for myself on the streets. At any rate, I’m the first of the seven to do everything – first to beg for treats from Foster Meowmy and first to scramble up the cat tree to best position myself for a petting session with her.
Now I’m ready for my forever home! Whether it’s because I look like Batman or an Oreo cookie, I hope you’ll choose me to welcome into your home. Consider adopting me with Skittles or one of the #furry-five gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Otto #tuxedo-tabby
DOB 8/21/20
Meow! Meow, everyone! My name is Otto, and I’m a sweet though shy brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. Don’t you love my white locket and four white mittens? I’m very sweet with my foster meowmy as well as the other cats in my foster home. I love and trust my foster meowmy when she pets and holds me. I even allow her to clip my claws.
When I was about a month old, my foster meowmy found my three siblings and me in an old abandoned car. After she got us all vetted and vaccinated, I was supposed to be adopted with my sister Zelda. When I arrived at my new home, I was my typical shy self because I was scared, so I found a hidey hole. Unfortunately the family didn’t give me the chance to settle in and warm up to my new surroundings, so I immediately went back to my foster meowmy.
I’m looking for forever adopters who will be patient with me as I warm up and feel comfy in my new “digs.” Ideally they will want to adopt me with one of my foster playmates like Squeeken whom I know well. Nothing like the moral support of a buddy to build my confidence in new situations!
Arrange to meet me today! There are advantages in adopting a cat who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'd be much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Peanut #snack-pack
DOB 3/28/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Peanut, a lovable, laid-back yet very active and playful bicolor fella. "Bicolor" means that I'm mostly white with black on my head, tail, and back. I adore it when Foster Meowmy holds me or gives me any kind of attention. This could mean her waving the wand-toy over my head, giving me Temptation treats, or scratching my ears, cheeks, and chin.
Even though I was the runt of my #snack-pack litter, I’m the one who has the biggest personality. Foster Meowmy attests that I’m “quite the character.” I enjoy playing and hanging out on the cat tree with my littermates as well as the other foster kittens. However, although I’d do great with kids who are at least 8 years old, I play too rough to be placed in a home with small children. I get along great with most of the resident adult cats and cat-friendly dogs in my foster home.
My litter of four, Pretzel, Popcorn, Snickers, and myself, a.k.a. the "#snack-pack," was born in a nice lady's back yard. She rescued us but turned to HOPE to find us fantastic forever homes. I have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my siblings, and when we're thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I'm ready to meet my forever family, and I'd be miserable if I didn't hang out with at least one other kitty in my new "digs." It'd be the cat's meow if you'd consider adopting me with one of the #snack-pack so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I’ll let you figure out for yourself why Foster Meowmy thinks that I’m “quite the character!”

Penguin #half-masked-face-of-Drama
DOB 12/1/18
Hi everyone! I'm Penguin, a sweet, gentle, albeit prissy medium-haired tuxedo gal who’s a big fluff ball with a splendid plume of a tail. Don't you love my beautifully marked face that resembles the half-masked face of Drama?
I LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. When I’m situated near my foster meowmy, I usually make biscuits as well as snuggle with her. But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I love to play with my foster-kitty-mates Godzilla, Mothra, and Woobie as well as when my foster meowmy dangles the wand toy over my head. I can also entertain myself with balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle balls.
I get along great with the other gentle resident cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I'm accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I'd probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
I was rescued from a cat colony where I was struggling for my next meal. Foster Meowmy realized that I was too social to be feral, so she welcomed me into her home, where I’ve adjusted very well to its indoor comforts. I’m so grateful that my hardscrabble days as a stray cat are over!
Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Godzilla, Mothra, or Woobie so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. If you're looking for a prissy ball of fluff who's past the mayhem of kittenhood, I'm your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Peppa #loves-to-be-held
DOB 7/16/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Peppa, a sweet, loving, easy-going tuxedo gal who has an adorable black button nose. Foster Meowmy testifies that I am a wonderful lap kitty and bed buddy. When I want Meowmy to pick me up, I gently tap my paw on her leg as if to say, “Here I am! Take me into your arms and love me.”
Foster Meowmy found me as a 6-week-old orphan on the premises of a security company in northwest Houston and brought me home. I get along great with the other resident kitties as well as the cat-friendly dogs here. I’m a playful gal who loves to chase the red laser dot that Foster Meowmy bounces around the room.
However, scurrying after the frisky red dot has not always been a piece of cake for me. Out of the clear blue sky, I was challenged with mobility issues starting about a week after my spay surgery. Foster Meowmy was horrified to see me suddenly not be able to support the weight in my back legs, although that didn’t stop me from "walking on my elbows" the best I could, which was nevertheless at quite a fast clip. “My goodness,” heartbroken Foster Meowmy thought, “Peppa is just a 5-month-old kitten!”
For three months, Foster Meowmy did her due diligence and took me to several vets, but it wasn’t until she finally took me to a pain-management vet specialist in The Woodlands that she found someone who could treat me successfully and non-surgically. He diagnosed inflammation in both of my rear elbow joints from either a congenital or traumatic injury.
God bless him because he relieved my pain and inflammation with cortisone and joint lubricant injections in both my back legs and started me on a regimen of monthly Adequan injections. It wasn’t long before – voila - I was playing and running around as if nothing had ever been wrong! What a miracle, thanks to HOPE’s Emergency Medical fund, collected from sales of the annual HOPE cat calendar!
The good news is that with long-term arthritic management, I should be able to live a basically normal life. My only ongoing treatment is for Foster Meowmy to give me monthly Adequan injections with the vet's injecting cortisone “as needed.” There’s even an injectable monthly monoclonal antibody therapy for osteoarthritis called Solensia that is now available if I need it. So, although I’m considered a “special needs” kitty, my chronic mobility problems have responded splendidly to injections and are easily controlled. Aren’t you happy that I need no daily PILLS???
I hope that my technically being a special needs kitty has not quashed your interest in having me plop myself in your lap or snuggle next to you in bed. I’d do fine as either a solo kitty or companion to your resident dog or cat. Also consider adopting me with one of my feline playmates with whom I’m already bonded. Two is better than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Remember Phoenix, the female fighter pilot in the "Top Gun Maverick” movie? Well, I’m her namesake because I’m one of the #Top-Gun-crew of six kittens. I’m a sweet, friendly, stunningly beautiful warm charcoal-gray gal whose coat appears dark brown in the sunshine. The closest cat breed that I appear to be is a sable Burmese mix. I’m the runt of my litter, so my foster family affectionately has nicknamed me FiFi. Don’t let my petite size fool you, however, because I’m “tiny but mighty” since I can hold my own with my larger siblings.
I’m a very affectionate gal who’s quite the cuddler and love bug. Since my favorite spot is cradled in Foster Meowmy’s left arm, she’s become quite proficient at one-handed typing when I join her in her home office. If Meowmy’s too busy to hold me, I’ll settle by perching on her shoulder like a parrot. All that’s important to me is spending time close to her. I also have a feisty streak in me that takes pleasure in attacking toes under the comforter when I’m on top of it.

Piper #Velcro-kitty
DOB 9/12/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Piper, a really sweet, very friendly, and outgoing black DSH/Bombay mix gal who enjoys being Foster Meowmy’s bed buddy. Bombay kitties are often known as Velcro cats because they cherish spending quality time with their hoomans, and I'm no exception.
There’s nothing I like better than to sit in Foster Meowmy's lap and binge on Animal Planet and Netflix with her. Plus I’m one of those rare kitties who likes to be picked up and cuddled. What more could you ask for in a kitty?
I was living paw-to-mouth with a colony of feral cats. My future foster meowmy trapped me and took me to a spay-neuter clinic, where I was fixed and my ear was notched. She brought me home to recover, and it wasn’t until the next morning that she realized that I was definitely NOT feral. Instead, she discovered that I was a sweet, young 8-month-old teenager who’d already had a litter of kittens.
While I was a teenage mom, I learned to protect me kittens from predatory cats in the colony as well as wild animals. Since it's hard to unlearn running off other cats in a momma-defense-mode, I’d prefer to be an only-cat child in my forever home.
Arrange to meet me today! You really need to see how stunningly beautiful is my sleek, shiny, black-patent-leather fur coat! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a young lady like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’ll cause much less chaos in your home and be much less likely to break any of your treasured accessories.

PK #lap-kitten
DOB 04/10/23
I want you to tell me how many kittens or cats would allow an infant to squeeze and pull on him and just sit there and let her do it? Not many – except me, and that’s because I’ve got the patience of Job. Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m P.K. a.k.a. Porch Kitty, as the neighborhood kids christened me. They love to come visit and play with me because of my sweet, easy-going temperament.
I’m a bicolor boy, which means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, back, and tail. I’m the sweetest and gentlest of my littermates, but I’m just as intelligent and inquisitive. I’m very social and enjoy crawling up in my hooman’s lap to luxuriate in our one-on-one time. I’m vocal and will easily attach myself to one person and become their best friend for life.
My siblings The Bandit, Smokey, and Guinevere, and I were born to a feral momma kitty in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Momma was trapped, spayed, and released back outside while we kits were brought inside to live with Foster Meowmy.
I wouldn’t say that I’m enthusiastic about the resident dogs when they seem overly interested in me, but I tolerate them. All in all, I’m very adaptable and would thrive in almost any family/home environment. So arrange to meet me today! Consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Pretty Girl #bathtub-mama
DOB 4/1/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Pretty Girl, and I’m a sweet, cherub-faced brown tabby gal with just a patch of white above and below my lips. I adore Foster Meowmy, so I chirp at her and come around to beg her for loving. I especially like for her to gently stroke me as well as scratch my chin, cheeks, and ears.
I was rescued as a pregnant stray in north Houston, and it wasn’t long after I arrived in my foster home that I birthed my litter of six in the bathtub! I guess you'd say that I was a teenage momma because I wasn't even a year old. One of my kittens, Sam, looks like my spitting image because he has the same white patch above and below his lips. I guess that’s why I’m especially attached to him.
After fending for myself on the mean streets of Houston, it took me awhile to realize that I could trust hoomans. Foster Meowmy has earned my trust because of all her tender loving care, but I remain wary of new people. I just need some time to warm up to them, and then I come around to trust them like I did Foster Meowmy.
Arrange to meet me today! You know there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who's past the stage of kitten mayhem. I'm much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories.

Pretzel #snack-pack
DOB 3/28/23
Do you like very photogenic kitties who ham it up in front of the camera? Do you need a willing subject for your skillful photography? If so, then I’m the lass for you! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Pretzel, a very sweet, active, and fun-loving bicolor gal. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, tail, and back. I’m a very friendly, easy-going, and playful kitty-girl who just loves people, so being held by Foster Meowmy is one of my favorite parts of the day
I enjoy playing and hanging out on the cat tree with both my littermates and the other foster kittens. I can also entertain myself by playing soccer with balls with bells and chasing catnip mice.
My litter of four, Peanut, Popcorn, Snickers, and myself, a.k.a. the “#snack-pack,” was born in a nice lady’s back yard. She rescued us but turned to HOPE to find us fantastic forever homes. I have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my siblings, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m ready to meet my forever family, and I’d be miserable if I didn’t hang out with another kitty in my new “digs.” It’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of the #snack-pack so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Puffy #furry-five
DOB 5/3/23
Was the Chatty Cathy doll your favorite? Remember – you pulled her string and she started chatting? If you treasured Chatty Cathy, I’ll be right up your alley! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Puffy, a sweet but very vocal Russian Blue mix gal who “talked” the whole time during my recent vet exam. (I was a little nervous to be away from home.) Although I was entertaining Foster Meowmy and the entire vet staff, the only way they could get me to stop “talking” was to let me lick Churu squeezable treats off their fingers.
I’m somewhat of an active tomboy who likes to chase DaBird wand toy. And I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my #furry-five siblings. When we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Now I’m in the market for my forever home and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family. If you adopt me, I promise to be a great communicator – especially when I’m hungry or need your reassurance. Consider adopting me with another one of the #furry-five litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Queenie #cat-tower-queen
DOB 12/1/22
Looking for a sweet-natured, beautiful kitty? Check out Queenie who is SOOO sweet and playful. She loves hair-ties (or anything small she can toss around) and high places to perch. She’s a generally quiet cat who is loyal and affectionate but loves to play and run. She also likes the three-tiered-pyramid-with-balls toy.
Queenie can sleep anywhere -- the kitty tower, dog bed, or your bed. If you really want a friend for life, feed Queenie canned cat food. You'll have her eating out of your hand. This beauty gets along with other cats and some dogs, but may take a while to adjust to a new home.

Reba #purr-queen
DOB 5/8/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Reba, and just like my namesake Reba McEntire, I’m the Queen of Country. I’m an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate brown “patched” tabby gal who adores when Foster Meowmy picks me up to hug and kiss me. In fact, I turn on my purr machine the second Foster Meowmy starts cuddling me.
I’m an energetic, playful kitten who has a blast with my toys as well as any household objects that I can find. I also tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my foster friends Tina Turner and Aretha, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We’re a bonded trio because I was the same age as the twins when we were rescued separately and came to live in our foster home at the same time.
I’m a sweet girl who makes friends easily with the resident cats. If any of them act aggressively toward me, I just ignore them. Sometimes I like to lie in my kitty hammock or hang out on the cat tree just to be a spectator of everything that’s going on around me.
When I was about six weeks old, I was found as an orphaned kitten wrapped in a towel. Now I’m all ready to meet my new family, and I hope they’ll consider adopting Tina Turner or Aretha with me. We can keep each other company playing together while they’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today. That way you can guess the decibels on my purr motor.

Reeses #peanut-butter-sweetie
DOB 2/14/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Reese’s, a sweet, affectionate, and playful tortoiseshell gal whose colors match of the delicious chocolate-and-peanut-butter candy. I heard Foster Meowmy tell someone “Reese’s is the absolutely sweetest baby!”
That’s because I intuitively adapt to her moods. When she feels like resting, I lovingly snuggle beside her and happily turn on my purr motor as white noise that encourages us to nap. When she wants to play, I love it when she engages me with the wand toy so I can display my athletic prowess as I pounce and lunge. I also enjoy playing with the other cats in my foster home as well as balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys.
My brother Taemin and I were rescued when our foster meowmy witnessed our running across the street. Thank heavens she brought us home and promised to find us wonderful forever homes. It’d be the cat’s meow if Taemin and I could be adopted together so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet us today!

Rockefeller #happy-go-lucky-cuddler
DOB 8/8/21
Meow! Meow, everyone! I'm Rockefeller, but you can call me Rocky, and I’m a sweet, friendly, very sociable, handsomely-marked tuxedo fella who thinks cuddle time is one of life’s highest priorities. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who likes to sit in laps to give as well as to soak-up Foster Meowmy’s love. When she comes into my room, I immediately run to her and jump up in her lap.
That’s just like the day she rescued me. She had stopped to get a drink at a drive-through, and she glanced out the window to see an orphaned tuxedo kitten (me) coming across the parking lot. She got out of the car and got down on her knees, and I ran to her as fast as I could. She scooped me up, got back in the car with me in her lap, and off we went to my new home to join her other foster kitties.
Don't get me wrong because I’m not always a couch/lap potato. No sirree! I also adore playing, especially when Foster Meowmy zig-zags the laser pointer. I'm still a teenage kid, so I get the zoomies from time to time. That’s when Foster Meowmy says, "Rocky, you’re such a character!” Luckily I have lots of cat buddies as well as hoomans to give me the playtime and social interaction that I crave.
Although I'm content in my foster home, I realize that it's best for me to have a forever home of my own. I hope that you'll arrange to meet me, and when you do, I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Rose #sister-of-Daisy
DOB 2/26/2023
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Rose, a gentle, playful, cuddly blue tabby who was initially shy around my foster family. However, now that I’ve settled in and feel comfy in my foster home, I love all ages of humans, including my foster meowmy’s children. In fact, I cherish the times the kids entertain me with interactive toys. I’ve never been intimidated by the resident cats and wasn’t afraid to interact with them from the get-go.
Foster Meowmy found me and my sister Daisy as orphaned kittens with no momma in sight.
Now I spend my days tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with Daisy. While my foster home is top-notch, I realize that it would be best for me to have a home where there’d be less competition with other cats for the attention of my foster family.
Arrange to meet me today as I’d make a great family pet! Consider adopting me with Daisy so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Ruby Rose #soaks-up-love
DOB 3/8/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Ruby Rose, an outgoing, affectionate, energetic, and playful brown patched tabby gal with splashes of orange who just loves to be loved. It’s the cat’s meow when Foster Meowmy pets, brushes, and holds me like the baby that I am. I like to cuddle with her when I sleep between her legs on top of the blanket.
I’m the most independent one of my litter, and I like to play alone with the tower of tracks toy as well as climb on the window perch to gaze at all the lizards, birds, and squirrels outside. I’m also very vocal and don’t mind communicating my wishes to Foster Meowmy.
My siblings keep me active by tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling. I don’t mind the resident dog but prefer to keep him at a distance. I do get along great with the other cats/kittens and kids in my foster home.
My friendly stray momma Mila had my litter in a lady’s yard, and thank heavens Foster Meowmy agreed to foster my whole family when we were just one week old. I’m so glad I could “boob the snooze” with Momma Mila until we were all weaned.
If you’re looking for a gentle, social, curious, easy-going lass who will just soak up all the love you’ll offer, I’m your lass! Arrange to meet me today. And consider adopting me with my sister Raya. We could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Ryan #shoulder-rider
DOB 5/20/23
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Ryan, a friendly, outgoing, extremely playful Russian Blue mix fella who’s an expert “shoulder rider.” This means that when Foster Meowmy picks me up and carries me, I always manage to climb up to perch on her shoulder so I can see everything better. To show my delight at my new world perspective, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot in Meowmy’s ear.
I play nonstop all day. Foster Meowmy has witnessed that I literally bounce off the walls of the kitty tunnel-condo. I have a great self-image and consider myself equal to playing with the adult resident kitties, especially the one who will wrestle with me. I love to play with any 2-legged or 4-legged critter, even if they are not a willing participant. I’m still leery of the resident dogs, but it won’t be long before I’ll warm up to them once I confirm their friendliness.
You see, Foster Meowmy found me as an orphan kitten who was sitting on the curb of a busy street before a bad thunderstorm. Thank heavens I got her attention because I was screaming at the sky, and she snatched me up and brought me home. Since I had no litter mates to play with, I was forced into reaching out to the resident kitties for my entertainment. I definitely will need at least one feline buddy to play with me when I arrive at my forever home. Arrange to meet me today!

Samantha #green-eyed-beauty
DOB 1/1/20
Meet Samantha, a sweet, inquisitive patched brown tabby (torbie) kitty with splashes of orange that make her look like caramel was spilled on her in a candy factory. Samantha loves the pleasant, relaxing life in her foster home.
The favorite part of Samantha's day is when she can cuddle up to you and watch TV with you Ooccasionally stealing a goldfish or cheese cracker. Samantha knows not to eat people food, but has been known to give sad eyes and get a small piece.
Samantha truly appreciates living the good life birdwatching from her cat tree or snoozing in bed. This green-eyed beauty is very curious about everything in her environment, but she is still trying to learn not to be wary of the other resident cats and dogs.
Just remember that this kitty would be happiest in a home without other cats or dogs, but may adjust to other friendly felines. Are you looking for a sweet kitty to be your companion? Did we tell you she likes to lick hands?

Sammy #fun-loving-trio
DOB 4/14/23
Are you looking for a sweetheart of a kitten who’s just a good, well-rounded fella? Then I'm your man! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Sammy, a.k.a “Sweet Sammy,” a very, very loving bicolor dude who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. I’m the giant of my litter, and Foster Mom expects that I’ll be a really big boy when I grow up.
I love to cuddle in Foster Mom's lap as well as snuggle in bed with her. Like many kitties, I’m not a fan of being picked up and held, however. I’m one contented dude when I can make biscuits on my blankie. I can fully entertain myself when Foster Mom leaves me boxes to jump into and paper sacks to punch just to hear the crinkle noise. And of course I love to play soccer with the balls with bells, pounce on the catnip mice, and lunge at the wand-toys. In short, as Cyndi Lauper used to sing, I’m just a “[guy] who wants to have fun.”
When we were three weeks old, my orphaned litter of three was found in Alief by a nice lady, and thank heavens, her friend, who's now my foster mom, agreed to bottle feed us and find us homes. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings, the #fun-loving-trio. That way we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Sasha #good-all-round-girl
DOB 5/1/23
Are you looking for a sweetheart of a kitten who’s just a good, well-rounded lass? Then I'm your gal! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Sasha, a very loving, affectionate, outgoing, and even-tempered bicolor girl who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. I love to cuddle in Foster Mom's lap as well as snuggle in bed with her.
I’m one contented little lady when I can make biscuits on my blankie. I can fully entertain myself when Foster Mom leaves me paper wads to swat, boxes to jump into, and paper sacks to punch just to hear the crinkle noise. I’m still a high-energy kitten who loves to play soccer with the balls with bells, pounce on the catnip mice, and lunge at the wand-toys. In short, as Cyndi Lauper used to sing, I’m just a “girl who wants to have fun.”
When I was three weeks old, I was found in north Houston, and thank heavens, my foster mom agreed to bottle feed me and find me a home. As it happened, she was already bottle-feeding a trio of kittens who were 2 weeks older than I am, so I seamlessly fit in with my new foster mates. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of them, the #fun-loving-trio. That way we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation.

Sheba #shadow-cat
DOB 5/15/22
Remember the lyrics by Cat Stevens, "I'm being followed by a moonshadow . . . moonshadow, moonshadow?" You make think this has happened to you -- or maybe it's just a beautiful, sleek black kitty with gorgeous green eyes. This lady of mystery enjoys the company of people and appreciates being petted or brushed.
We're not sure if Sheba is more active during a full moon or at a new moon, like some people say, but if you make Sheba a part of your family, you can find out. Take Sheba home today. She's a wonderful companion kitty.

Simon #pick-me-up-and-hold-me
DOB 4/8/18
Hi everyone! My name is Simon, and I’m a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and playful brown tabby fella with gorgeous jade-green eyes. I have short legs, so I look adorable when I walk. (I may have a little Munchkin-cat blood coursing through my veins.)
I love spending time with my foster family, and I’m not shy at all about meeting new people. I’m so laid-back that I’m one of those rare kitties who doesn’t mind being handled or picked up.
I luxuriate when my foster meowmy puts her forehead onto mine and give me kisses. Getting my head petted and chin scratched are right up there as “tops” in my book. On the other hand, getting my tummy rubbed is not so pleasant (as many other kitties will agree), so I’ll gently soft-paw Foster Meowmy to tell her to stop.
Usually I’m a quiet kitty who minds my own business, but then again sometimes I can be very talkative. Foster Meowmy thinks I’ve got a cute, sweet voice that’s like a chirping meow.
I was rescued from a rough life on the streets, so I welcomed the brand-new indoor amenities of my “donut” bed as well as wand toys and balls with bells. I like to bask in a sunbeam on the windowsill as I watch the squirrels and birds outside.
I’m lucky in that I won’t ever have to fight to survive a hardscrabble life of a street-stray ever again. I’m not so lucky in that I contracted FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), probably from a deep bite wound from an intact male cat. (Unlike Feline Leukemia, FIV is NOT passed on “casually” by sharing food bowls and litter boxes with other household cats.) Being FIV positive means that I should live an average life span as long as special attention is routinely given to my dental health and prompt attention is given to secondary infections of the urinary tract or upper respiratory system.
I get along with other cats as well as the large dog in my foster home, but it would also be just fine if I were the only cat. Incidentally, I have perfect litter box and scratching-post manners.
Foster Meowmy says that I’m very resilient from my stint as stray and that I’m “the sweetest cat in the whole world.” She thinks I would really make anyone happy. I’m just looking for a place to call my own and where I can soak up all the love and attention that can be showered on me. Could you be the forever family I’ve been waiting for?

Skittles #kiss-my-pink-nose
DOB 5/15/23
Looking for a pretty pink kitten’s nose to kiss? I may be your gal! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Skittles, a sweet brown tabby lass with white tuxedo markings as well as my cute pink nose and paw pads that match the color of my favorite bed.
I was rescued as an orphaned dumpster-diver who was foraging for food behind a warehouse in southwest Houston. A kind man caught me and tried to feed as well as care for me, but his landlady wouldn’t let him have a pet. Fortunately he reached out to HOPE for help finding me a forever home.
I arrived in my foster home to join another rescued dumpster-diver, Oreo, as well as the whole #furry-five gang. We were all born within two weeks of each other, so the seven of us have had a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other like one big happy family. Admittedly I’m always amazed at some of the boys’ antics, but then again, I can run, jump, and play with the best of them! I’m definitely no sissy!
Now I’m ready for my forever home! Despite my having a hard start in life, I’m aiming to write a new happy-ever-after chapter in my life story. Can you offer me a loving home for the rest of my days? Consider adopting me with Oreo or one of the #furry-five gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation

Smokey #nothing-fazes-him
DOB 4/10/23
Are you attracted to guys who walk with a swagger when they enter a room? Then I’m the guy for you! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Smokey, a laid-back, curious fella who got my name because my coloration is called “black smoke.” That means that I have black fur with white roots. How cool is that?
I’m an affectionate guy who loves a good ear-scratch. But honestly, who doesn’t? I’m playful, but I like to observe my surrounding before I find the best route to the toys. That’s because the path to my favorite playthings could include dogs, an infant, and young children. I like it when the kids wave the wand toy or otherwise interact with me when we play.
My siblings The Bandit, PJ, and Guinevere, and I were born to a feral momma kitty in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Momma was trapped, spayed, and released back outside while we kits were brought inside to live with Foster Meowmy.
There’s not much that fazes me – the last thing that I am is skittish. So if you’re looking for an easy-going kitten, I’d be a superb choice. Arrange to meet me today! Consider adopting me with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Snickers #snack-pack
DOB 3/28/23
How would you like to pick up a sweet, affectionate kitty-girl whose fur is as soft as a bunny’s against your cheek? Well, that’s me, Snickers, an adorable bicolor beauty queen. “Bicolor” means that I’m mostly white with black on my head, tail, and back. Did you notice my long white tufts of hair that are like wispy feathers peeking out my ears? When Foster Meowmy cuddles with me, I immediately turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot and makes great white noise if Meowmy wants to nap. I’m generally laid-back and unfazed by loud noises like the vacuum cleaner.
My litter of four, Peanut, Popcorn, Pretzel, and myself, a.k.a. the “#snack-pack,” was born in a nice lady’s back yard. She rescued us but turned to HOPE to find us fantastic forever homes. I have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my siblings, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
It’s taken me awhile to make friends with the other foster kittens. I usually just emit a warning hiss and then move on to play with my toys. Like a queen reigning over her subjects, I like to sit at the top of the cat tree and observe my kingdom below.
Now I’m ready to meet my forever family, and it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d consider adopting me with one of the #snack-pack so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today!

Socks #sweet-natured
DOB 5/24/23
Socks may not be the most interesting cat in the world, but he's the most predictable and reliable one. This guy is rock-solid. Very gentle and a little on the mundane side. Socks is a very chilled and laid-back tuxedo bebe.
He's described by his foster mom as just plain boring. Eat, sleep, poop, sleep, play a little, sleep, repeat -- nothing crazy yet. If you're looking for a well-behaved, sweet-natured kitty, Socks is your man!

Spot #fun-loving-trio
DOB 4/14/23
Are you looking for a sweet, highly affectionate kitten who’s outgoing and talkative? Then I'm your gal! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Spot, a gentle, sociable, snuggly, and even-tempered brown tabby girl who has a few peach patches on my face. My "spots" make me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I love to cuddle in Foster Mom's lap while she pets me as well as to snuggle in bed with her. Then again, I might jump down and run off to play with my siblings.
I can fully entertain myself when Foster Mom leaves me paper wads to swat, boxes to jump into, and paper sacks to punch just to hear the crinkle noise. I’m still a high-energy kitten who loves play, jump, and climb. I play soccer with the balls with bells, pounce on the catnip mice, and lunge at the wand-toys. Foster Mom thinks it’s so cute that I carry around my toys, which includes the wand toy! In short, as Cyndi Lauper used to sing, I’m just a “girl who wants to have fun.”
When we were three weeks old, my orphaned litter of three was found in Alief by a nice lady, and thank heavens, her friend, who's now my foster mom, agreed to bottle feed us and find us homes. I’m always the “Hungry Jack” of my litter, so I’m first to arrive at the food bowl. Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings, the #fun-loving-trio. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Stevie #fun-loving-trio
DOB 4/14/23
Are you looking for a sweet, quiet, meek kitten who squeaks instead of meows? Then I'm your guy! Squeak! Squeak, everyone! I’m Stevie, an initially shy, affectionate, snuggly, playful, and even-tempered black DSH/Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat. I love to snuggle in bed with Foster Mom as well as cuddle in her lap while she pets me. It's when she gently pets me that I immediately turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot.
When we were three weeks old, my orphaned litter of three was found in Alief by a nice lady, and thank heavens, her friend, who's now my foster mom, agreed to bottle feed us and find us homes. I was the one in my litter who had the “fear gene,” and I hid for a long time after I first arrived in my foster home. Foster Mom very patiently hand-raised me by using Temptation treats to help me build my trust in her.
Her TLC paid big dividends, and now I’m a “one-person” kitty who is totally bonded to her. You might say that I stick to her like Velcro. She’s not sure if it’s that I prefer women, but I’m not particularly interested in Foster Daddy, although I do let him pet me.
Arrange to meet me today, and consider adopting me with one of my siblings, the #fun-loving-trio. That way we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Stormy
DOB 5/15/23
Hi! My name is Stormy. I’m a girl, but I’m a tomboy. I am strong willed, intelligent, but oh so sweet and purry.
I like other cats to play with. I’ve heard of something called a dog, but haven’t ever seen one. If you have one that’s nice to me, I’m sure we will become best buddies.
I was raised in a 3 bedroom house since I was 3 weeks old, and I know how to find my way to the litter box. Just show me where it is when we get home.

Sweet Tart #the-T-Cats
DOB 5/10/23
Well the cat's out of the bag... Sweet Tart is totally sweet without a hint of tartness. This beautiful brindle tortie, loves to be with people and tends to follow you around, just to be near you. This kitty is more dog-like than cat-like, and she will play fetch and greet you when you come home.
Sweet Tart is so well-behaved and gentle, you will be amazed she's a cat. She does like perching on cat trees and knows how to use a scratching post. Take this sweetie home for a trial or just adopt her outright. It will be the best decision you ever make.

T'Challa #black-panther-prince
DOB 10/1/22
Are you a fan of T’Challa, the fictional African prince who holds the title of Black Panther in Marvel’s popular TV series that’s based on the comic-book character T’Challa? Then you understand why Foster Meowmy gave me such an unusual moniker – I’m a sleek, strong, and handsome mini-black panther who looks to be a Bombay/DSH mix fella with my shiny patent-leather coat and big globe eyes.
I’m a sweet boy who loves Eskimo kisses and is still learning that it’s okay to be picked up to receive those kisses. Although I’m not a lap cat per se, I'm a Velcro cat who likes to stick close to Foster Meowmy. I prefer to position myself right next to her when she’s lying in bed or sitting on the sofa. I’m very dog-like because I'll follow her into the bathroom if she allows me. Plus I’m a playful athlete who loves to play fetch. I scamper off to grab whatever toy Foster Meowmy tosses for me and even sometimes bring it back!
I showed up as a stray at Foster Meowmy’s house, and when her family showed me some love and attention, I decided to hang out permanently – rain or shine -- on their front porch. So they decided that I was someone’s pet who had been dumped – probably because my owners couldn’t afford to take care of me – and who needed to be brought inside. I was thrilled to enjoy the indoor amenities of brimming food and water bowls as well as climate control. I even get along well with the resident cats who are calm and easy-going, although the crabby ones can be a challenge.
True confessions! Maybe I was weaned from my real momma too early because sometimes Foster Meowmy has to be my gentle parent and lovingly teach me some manners. For example, when I’ve had enough petting, I may give her a gentle love bite. Also, when I want her attention or for her to play with me, I might nip her ankles. For heaven’s sake, maybe I didn’t have any siblings to tumble and wrestle with when I was a kitten, so I treat her like the sibling I never had! She’s not too concerned because she knows that I’m just a big baby who doesn’t comprehend my own strength. She also understands that I must've done a lot to defend myself when I was a stray in survival mode, so she cuts me some slack and hopes that my adopters will too.
Although I’m contented with my foster family, I realize that it’s time for me to find a loving forever home where I don’t have to compete for attention with as many other cats. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me today! I have so much love to give – all I need is YOU!

Tadpole #half-dozen-kittens
DOB 5/10/23
This is Tadpole, a cute little black kitten who, along with his five siblings, was rescued with his momma Tori from a country house next to a dumping ground in Cleveland, TX. He’s as cute as a button and loves to sit and watch the world go by. Someone noticed that he has eyebrows, which is a very endearing characteristic.
Tadpole gets along great with other kitties but needs to trust you before he's completely comfortable. This guy has come a long way and will be a great addition to a home with other kitties to play with. He likes crinkle balls and soft mice to bat around. Tadpole also tends to prefer shoulders to laps. Meet Tadpole and fall in love.

Tango #warm-and-friendly
DOB 4/7/22
Howdy everyone! I’m Tango, a loving and mellow yet funny and lively red tabby fella with a warm personality and a great sense of humor. Foster Meowmy describes me as “the most wonderful of kittens who deserves an A+ home.”
I was found as an orphan in the street next to a pile of debris in the Lindale area. I fit right into my foster home where there were several other rescued kittens who were my same age, although we‘re not related.
I have so much fun playing with my surrogate siblings. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we’re thoroughly exhausted from all the fun, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
It would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my foster mates Butch, Sundance, Little Bobbie, or Violet. I’d be happy to give you an extra kiss because we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.
I get along great with the 3 resident adult cats and 2 big dogs in my foster home, so there are a lot of households where I would fit like a glove. Arrange to meet me today! You'll fall in love with me the second you meet me. I'm all ready to settle into my A+ new home!

Ted Lasso #brother-of-Jamie-Tartt
DOB 5/5/23
Are you familiar with Ted Lasso, the American football coach who uses his folksy, optimistic leadership to coach a British soccer team in the TV series by the same name? My Foster Meowmy loves Ted’s charm and humor, so she decided to name me Ted Lasso because I love to make biscuits like he does!
I’m an extremely friendly and curious, slightly fluffy Russian Blue mix fella who likes to climb up on the bed to cuddle with my foster parents. But I'm no couch potato! No sirree! I love to play with balls with bells, catnip mice, and interactive wand toys. And of course, I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my brothers Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle.
We three boys were born to a feral momma who was trapped, spayed, and released when we were about a month old. Thank heavens future Foster Meowmy responded to the trapper’s plea to socialize us so we could have enriched indoor lives.
I’d love to be adopted with Jamie Tartt , but a new cat sibling who will play and wrestle with me would be okay too. Arrange to meet me today! I think my charm will take your breath away!

DOB 5/10/23
Don your shades,
Kick up your feet,
Grab your favorite beach blanket,
And run, don't walk, to meet Tess.
This super sweet, affectionate kitty would love to sit in your window and watch you play in the sun. She's the best supervisor and will offer her advice on living the good life. Sadly, Tess hasn't experienced much in the way of life and is looking forward to setting out on adventures with you. Who would like to experience life through the rose-colored glasses of a kitten?

The Bandit #Zorro
DOB 4/10/23
Do you remember Zorro, the masked bandit who always wore black from head to foot? Well, that’s me, The Bandit, a fearless and adventurous explorer of new horizons. When Foster Meowmy opens the foster-room door, I dash out to do my investigating. What do I find? Dogs, young children, and even an infant. If Meowmy shuffles me back into my room before I’ve thoroughly investigated the other rooms, the next chance I get I’ll pick right up exploring what I missed.
I’m quite a talker. I don’t hesitate to let Foster Meowmy know what I want, when I want it, and how it should be! If you’re lucky enough to call me yours, you’ll never have to guess what I need.
I’m the most independent of my siblings and enjoy “doing my own thing,” i.e. playing or exploring. However, I do like to snuggle with my littermates when I’m all tuckered out from my busyness.
My siblings Smokey, PJ, and Guinevere, and I were born to a feral momma kitty in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. After we were weaned, Momma was trapped, spayed, and released back outside while we kits were brought inside to live with Foster Meowmy.
Arrange to meet me today! Consider adopting me with one of my littermates so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tiger #fancy-pants-four
DOB 3/27/23
Do you like dudes with athletic prowess? Well, I’m Tiger, and I may just be the kitten you’re looking for. I’m an affectionate, outgoing, even-tempered red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings, including vest, boots, and mittens. I’m curious about everything -- for example, an open cabinet door is so inviting that I just can’t resist checking out what’s behind it.
I’m a playful, high-energy fella who loves to play with toys as well as tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my #fancy-pants-four siblings. While our future foster meowmy was walking her dog, she spotted the four of us, along with our momma, hanging out around an abandoned house. First she started feeding us, and thank heavens, she eventually scooped up all five of us and brought us to our foster home.
Now I’m ready for my forever home, which could include other cats. Consider adopting me with one of my #fancy-pants-four siblings. We could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tilly #the-T-Cats
DOB 5/10/23
Literally every kitten in this litter is the sweetest, most affectionate kitty ever. They love to be with people (including children) and get along with other cats after a proper introduction. On top of that, Tilly has gorgeous thick brown stripes and big green eyes.
Tilly is the cutest because she will follow you around and supervise you as you scoop the litter box or sweep the floor. But she doesn't interfere, she just keeps on eye on quality control.
Tilly would probably do well in a busy household, but also would fit into a quiet home as well. Are you ready to meet this versatile kitty?

Tim Drake #Batman-litter
DOB 5/7/23
Are you searching for a furry companion who's as clever as he is cuddly? Look no further than me, Tim Drake, a charming and intelligent kitten who's ready to become the newest member of your family. Get ready for endless intrigue, playful antics, and a bond that will last a lifetime! Although I may be a budding genius, I’m also a master in the art of cuddles. My purrs are the soundtrack to relaxation as I curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap and turn even the most ordinary moments into special ones together.
Named after the fourth Robin in the comic-book series Batman, I’m known for my intellect and my big heart. Whether I’m chasing after a feather toy or unraveling a treat-dispensing puzzle, my playful energy is contagious. I keep Foster Meowmy on her toes and bring a sense of joy to my foster home like no one else can.
I’m a black DSH/Bombay mix fella with sleek, shiny fur and mesmerizing golden eyes that make me a real “stunner,” if I do say so myself. However, it's my sharp mind that truly sets me apart. I’m a thinking cat who keeps Foster Meowmy entertained with my curious explorations and ingenious problem-solving. Because of my siblings’ sheer awe of my intellect, I tend to be the leader of the pack. Yet modest as I am, I’m more than happy to pretend that someone else came up with the idea first.
My stray momma birthed my four Batman siblings and me at an apartment complex in Cypress, and thankfully we came to Foster Meowmy’s home for her to give us a chance at an enriched indoor life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be the dispenser of abundant joy and contagious energy. Please consider adopting me with another one of my #Batman-litter so we can keep each other company when you’re at work or on vacation.

Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tony, a sweet, friendly, and playful fluffy black domestic medium haired fella who dazzles everyone with my endearing personality. I love people as much as I love my #high-5 siblings, so it’s not surprising that I steal everyone’s hearts.
I’m a super curious boy who gets into everything. Ah well, my nosiness keeps Foster Meowmy entertained.
I promise to blow you away with my charming ways as well as keep you amused with my investigative prowess. Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Tori #marble-swirl-girl
DOB 6/1/22
During the dog days of summer, “Marble Swirl” makes you think of ice cream, but I’m a #marble-swirl-girl because I have gorgeous dark marble swirls (instead of mackerel stripes) on my sides. Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Tori, and I’m a super-sweet, vocal brown "Classic tabby" gal who loves to rub up against Foster Meowmy’s legs and invite her to pet me. Admittedly, I’m not a lap cat yet, but I will jump in Foster Meowmy’s lap so she can scratch my cheeks, chin, and ears. Boy, howdy! That feels great!
I birthed my six kittens at a country house near a dumping ground in Cleveland, where I was among many friendly but unfixed stray cats. Thank heavens that HOPE took all my family into their program to find us fantastic homes! I probably had been someone’s pet who got misplaced because I adjusted easily to being an indoor cat. I especially like all the indoor amenities, like climate control, brimming food and water bowls, and a cardboard scratch pad to nap on after I’ve sharpened my claws.
Other than a few initial warning hisses, I didn’t react negatively to Foster Meowmy’s resident cat. Now we’re comfy with each other, and I even rub my pheromones on him. However, since I’d had to guard my food when the outdoor stray cats tried to steal my food, I don’t like it when he comes near my food. Incidentally, I may be tiny, but my appetite is anything but tiny!
True confessions! I’m somewhat of a “special needs” kitty because I tested positive for heartworms. I’m due to be retested in six months to see if HOPE diagnosed heartworms early enough to clear me up. I was tested when I was barely a year old, and it takes 6-8 months for the larva to develop into an adult, and only about 25% of heartworms reach adulthood in cats. So I’m keeping my paws crossed. There is no treatment for cats who test positive for heartworms as there is for dogs. Instead, I’m to be given a prescription flea/heartworm preventative like Revolution monthly. Whereas HOPE recommends that all Houston cats stay on flea/heartworm preventative for their lifetimes, adult heartworms usually die within 2-3 years.
I hope you’ll arrange to meet me. Foster Meowmy testifies that I’m “a gem to be around.” Come find out for yourself!

Tris #friendly-foursome
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Tris, a friendly, confident, and playful bicolor gal who loves to spend time with my Foster Meowmy. I’m called a bi-color because I’m mostly white with gray tabby on my head, back, and tail. My foster meowmy says she's never met a group of kitties as sweet we are, and she considers ME the “star of sweet!”
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Lucy, Alice, and Victoria as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed.
I promise that you’ll find that I’m perfect! Consider adopting me with another one of the #friendly-foursome. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Trudy #life-of-the-party
DOB: 7/9/22
You there! You! I'm Trudy! I'm the life of the party! This house will be BORING without me. Explore my awesomeness. I LOVE to fetch! I NEED fetch play time. I'll bring you my toys to get you to play fetch. Right now I'm at a 100% launch rate to go get it. I'm currently at a 90% retrieval rate on the little yellow moon and 70% on the fruit mice. I have a toy budget of $8 a month, so you'll need to keep my toy money in the black in order to adopt me.
Sometimes I like to get crazy and try to take a shower with you. I like the clear vinyl shower curtain liners so I can see why in the world you're in the water! Then I might need to climb the outer cloth shower curtain just because I'm entertaining like that. Either way you need a sturdy shower curtain.
I'm absolutely delightful, and everything I do is cute. I love people, but I'm especially good at pestering the older cats. They hate it, but I don't care! I make them play with me. I can be a little talker when it comes to play time or food; other than that I'm pretty quiet.

Tuffy #furry-five
DOB 5/3/23
Are you a gourmand and looking for a feline partner who loves food and lots of it? Then I'm the boy for you! Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Tuffy, a sweet solid-blue fella with white tuxedo markings who gets along with all the cats in my foster home -- my siblings, other foster kittens, as well as the older, grouchy ones. Ever since my eyes opened, I’ve loved to climb to the top of the cat tree so I can observe my domain below.
I love to display my athletic prowess when Foster Meowmy waves the wand toy over my head so I can lunge at my “prey.” And I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my #furry-five siblings. All this high-energy expenditure works up an appetite, and I love to chow down with yummy food – and plenty of it.
Now I’m in the market for my forever home and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family. I really hope that another “foodie” will adopt me. Consider adopting me with another one of the #furry-five litter so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Turquoise #loves-water
DOB 6/15/22
Searching for a soul mate? Turquoise would love to meet you. This gentle and sweet kitty is well-behaved and a joy to have around. And this tabby girl has a hint of red in her coat, so she has a little bit of spunk too. Who doesn't love a female who is self-confident but full of love to share?
Turquoise will gently win your heart and fill it with joy. She's dying to meet you. P.S. This cutie loves playing in running water.

Victoria #friendly-foursome
DOB 8/7/22
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Victoria, a.k.a. Vicky, a sweet and loving Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with gray tabby on my head and tail. Sometimes Foster Meowmy calls me Pink Panther because she thinks I look a little like him. Initially I was the shyest and most independent of my sisters, but once I felt comfy and secure in my new surroundings, I became very friendly and affectionate with my foster family. I love it when Foster Meowmy scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears, and I express my delight with soft chirps.
I was rescued by a kind woman who found me and my sisters Tris, Lucy, and Alice as orphaned kittens when we were so young that we needed to be bottle-fed. Once we were eating on our own, our tenderhearted future Foster Meowmy responded to the plea on the HOPE FaceBook page that we needed someone to foster us until we were adopted. She brought us to our foster home, where I balance playing with my sisters and “chilling out” with Foster Meowmy.
Since we were bottle-fed and familiar with being handled by hoomans, we’ve always been very friendly and sociable – even with strangers. In fact, we come out to meet visitors!
I hope that you’ll arrange to meet me! Just give me a little time to settle in and feel comfy in my new surroundings, and I’ll shine brightly with love and happiness. Consider adopting me with another one of the #friendly-foursome. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Violet #high-5-gang
DOB 5/16/23
Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Violet, a sweet, friendly, and adorable fluffy silver-tabby gal who’s the only girl and the smallest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. I’m very attached to Foster Meowmy and follow her everywhere that she goes.
Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. Even though I look like a dainty lass, my favorite pastimes are eating and fighting my brothers. There’s nothing like a feisty tomboy! I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle.
Arrange to meet me today. I have so much love to give – all I need is you! Consider adopting me with another of the #high-5-gang so we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation.

Wesson #bright-green-eyes
DOB 3/15/21
Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Wesson, a wonderfully sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving brown tabby fella with white tuxedo markings. My huge green eyes should win the Golden Globe Award for mesmerizing you. Don’t you love the button spot at the end of my nose?
Although I love to play, I really cherish one-on-one petting time with my foster meowmy. As she scratches my chin and ears, I turn on my purr motor to show my ecstasy.
A family adopted me from HOPE as a 6-month-old kitten and a year later adopted tortie Cannoli to keep me company. I thought I was a member of my new family, but unfortunately they heartlessly surrendered us both to HOPE because they were going to be out of the country for 2 1/2 months. HOPE volunteers offered them a super-low-cost option, but they didn’t want to pay a dime for our boarding or pet-sitting.
No worries! I’m holding my head high and moving on without glancing back! If you’re looking for a big, handsome, bright-eyed tuxedo tabby, I’m your guy! Although I’m available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with my buddy Cannoli. That way we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today, and you can guess the decibels on my purr motor!

Woobee #your-furry-security-blanket
DOB 8/24/19
Hi everyone! I’m Woobee, a spunky, funny, entertaining Turkish Van mix gal who’s mostly white with black on my head and tail. Don’t you love my white blaze running up my nose? Because I’m such a snuggler, I was named after the child’s security blanket popularized in the movie “Mr. Mom.”
I’m a lap cat extraordinaire. I absolutely LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. I'm full of zany antics and have a plucky attitude. I’ll bunny-kick a stuffed animal and then come sit in your lap to get praise and to snuggle.
I get along great with the other gentle cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I’m accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I’d probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids.
My siblings Mothra and Godzilla were found with me as orphan kittens during Tropical Storm Imelda. Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if I could be adopted with one of my siblings so we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. If you’re looking for a real lap cat who’s the life of the party and who’s past the mayhem of kittenhood, I’m your girl! Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart.

Zephyr #graffiti-boy
DOB 4/28/23
Have you ever seen a kitten whose body looks like a canvas that a graffiti artist has started splashing with tiny spots of black paint? Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Zephyr, a sweet and playful fella who’s pure white except for my black toupee and just a few pale smudges of gray on my shoulders.
My brothers, Banksy and Donti, and I are fascinated by everything in the bathroom.
I’m particularly bonded to Donti. We’re always up to some kind of kitten business – exploring, menacing each other, wrestling with each other.
