Bella

You are here:

Hello! My name is Bella because I am such a beautiful girl!  I was found in front of a school, hanging out, hoping someone would take me home.  I love playing games with my foster dad and getting fresh air outdoors. I also love anything peanut-butter flavored and will do tricks for treats; so far I know “sit”, “shake” and “down”.  I like other canine's and I'm crate trained.

I’m super affectionate towards people and would love to become the newest member of your family!

Ciao, Bella

Estimated Date of Birth 7/10/17

Bunny was found at a farm west of Katy.  Bunny, who is still a youngster at heart, is sweet and full of energy and affection.  She loves to go on walks and she loves to get in her foster mom's lap for a tummy rub and some snuggles. She goes to doggy day care 3 times a week where she gets to play with her canine buddies and she has been through basic obedience class.  Bunny is crate-trained and house trained. She is especially happy when hanging out with her human and canine friends.

Jack

You are here:

Jack and Jill are two of the most well-mannered, well-behaved dogs we’ve ever had in our adoption program. They are sweet, affectionate, loving, intelligent, want to please you and listen to what you ask them to do. Jack has a more outgoing personality than Jill, who is stylishly quite until she gets to know you better. Jack sits and shakes a paw on command. Jill will sit on command and could easily be taught to shake!

They are both very polite, very calm dogs and walk beautifully on the leash together, with no pulling. They are extremely bonded siblings and adorably drink water together out of the same bowl, plus affectionately lick each other’s ears. Please consider adopting these two precious dogs and you will never regret making them a part of your family. They are easy to meet at our weekly adoption events on Saturday 12-4:00.

Note: Jack and his sister Jill were adopted as puppies and returned over a year later through no fault of their own.  They are very bonded and we would like to adopt them together therefore we're offering a "two-fer", 2 for 1 adoption fee on these wonderful pups.

Jameson

You are here:

Jameson is a big, handsome, goofball!  He was rescued from the streets of Houston and is currently fostered at a boarding kennel.  He gets to go to Doggy Daycare, play with his toys, and HOPE weekend adoptions where he gets lots of yummy treats (and he has a very gentle mouth!).

Jameson knows Sit and walks well on leash.  He's an active boy and would be a great walking /jogging companion.  He's also a smart boy and would do well in obedience class.

Turtle

You are here:

Turtle is ready to give up her career as a back yard junk dog!  It's time to start something new, and HOPE Rescue in Houston is ready to help her. Turtle has many skills that will make her new career as an adopted pooch a breeze!  For example, she has plenty of playgroup experience, and she excels at zooming around the yard.  However, she also enjoys just sitting in the yard bird watching or watching the squirrels playing in the trees.  She also has wonderful people skills.

Turtle's specialties are snuggling, smiling and making human hearts grow three sizes. Turtle's favorite past time is just lying on the couch with her human & watching TV.  Can you help Turtle start her new career as an adopted member of your loving family?

Venus

You are here:

In her own words:  I was saying to myself just this morning "Venus, you know what you need? You need a person all your own."  So I sat down to write this post for the nice people at HOPE, because apparently that's the kind of thing they do - find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable furbabies.  I shudder to type this, but I'M LAPLESS! That's right, I have no lap to call my own. Could you be persuaded to volunteer yours?  I can't wait to see my forever home!"

Venus is an active and incredibly smart girl who likes nothing more than to stretch her legs at the beach or at the park.  She'd suit an active person who wants an outgoing and friendly companion - if you ca lob a tennis ball, Venus will be your friend for life!
