Bob

You are here:

Date of birth is 11/9/17.

Bob and his siblings were born to a stray moma dog that wandered up to a home out in the country, looking for food and shelter.  Fortunately, she found a home with dog lovers who not only fed her and gave her shelter, but let her have her litter of puppies two weeks later and committed to finding them all homes!

Bob is lovable and sweet.  His little bobbed tail will always tell you how happy he is to see you.  He walks well on leash and is almost house-trained.  Bob needs a canine playmate or two, and a household where someone is home a lot.  He doesn't like to be alone for too long.  He doesn't mind being in a crate when you're not home, but only for a few hours.  Bob really likes to go on walks and play with his canine brother.

Bunny

Estimated Date of Birth 7/10/17

Bunny and her Mom, Honey, were found at a farm west of Katy.  But both are as sweet as can be, and Bunny, who is still a youngster at heart, is full of energy and affection.  She loves to go on walks and she loves to get in her foster mom's lap for a tummy rub and some snuggles. She goes to doggy day care 3 times a week where she gets to play with her canine buddies and she has been through basic obedience class.  Bunny is crate-trained and house trained. She is especially happy when hanging out with her human friends.

Johnny Cash

You are here:

Hi, I'm Johnny Cash and I want to sing my way into your heart!

I'm a lovable guy that likes to have fun! The dog park is one of my favorite places. I am a happy-go-lucky guy who gets along well with everyone and am very socialized.  When I'm not practicing my next country hit, I like to sleep in my doggie bed, or curl up in someone's lap.  I am intelligent and I learn quickly. In fact, I am a recent graduate of Basic Obedience Level 1 and I can sit, stay, and I’m working on learning to shake hands!  I'm an active pup, so be ready to rock-n-roll. Yes, country and rock-n-roll CAN go together.

Pinto

Estimated date of birth is May 25, 2018.

Pinto is a handsome young man.  He not only has good looks, but is smart too!  He is learning to fetch, uses the doggy door, sits on command, and shakes, both left AND right paws!  He loves to play:  with other dogs, with his toys, and in the water.  Pinto is your typical puppy with lots of energy and cute antics.   He likes tug of war and plays very nice with his doggy friends so would thrive in a home with other dogs.  With those gorgeous eyes and loving face, how can you resist such a smart young boy!  He will make any family complete!

Turtle

You are here:

Turtle is ready to give up her career as a back yard junk dog!  It's time to start something new, and HOPE Rescue in Houston is ready to help her. Turtle has many skills that will make her new career as an adopted pooch a breeze!  For example, she has plenty of playgroup experience, and she excels at zooming around the yard.  However, she also enjoys just sitting in the yard bird watching or watching the squirrels playing in the trees.  She also has wonderful people skills.

Turtle's specialties are snuggling, smiling and making human hearts grow three sizes. Turtle's favorite past time is just lying on the couch with her human & watching TV.  Can you help Turtle start her new career as an adopted member of your loving family?

Venus

You are here:

In her own words:  I was saying to myself just this morning "Venus, you know what you need? You need a person all your own."  So I sat down to write this post for the nice people at HOPE, because apparently that's the kind of thing they do - find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable furbabies.  I shudder to type this, but I'M LAPLESS! That's right, I have no lap to call my own. Could you be persuaded to volunteer yours?  I can't wait to see my forever home!"

Venus is an active and incredibly smart girl who likes nothing more than to stretch her legs at the beach or at the park.  She'd suit an active person who wants an outgoing and friendly companion - if you ca lob a tennis ball, Venus will be your friend for life!
