HOPE is now an Amazon affiliate. So, you now can help HOPE by simply shopping at Amazon.com through any of the Amazon links on our website (such as the convenient search box below or just go straight to Your page at Amazon).

Also, we have created a HOPE Amazon Store of our own where our volunteers have carefully picked items that we've found useful in training, understanding the behavior or simply just enjoying our pets.

Designate HOPE as your charity on iGive

Here's something you can do that will cost you nothing but a little time! Enroll in iGive and select HOPE as your charity of choice.If you buy anything from any of the vendors on the iGive mall, a percentage of your purchase is donated to HOPE. There are over 230 merchants currently listed at the iGive mall. The service is free and provides greatly needed funds to HOPE.

Membership

Membership in HOPE will allow you to assist homeless and orphaned pets. The annual membership fee of $20 will entitle you to receive the HOPE newsletter as well as attend meetings and other functions. The membership application and more will soon be made available on the website...

Your involvement can be tailored to your lifestyle and schedule. You can be as involved as you choose. We need individuals from all walks of life to provide their unique talents to aid in the achievement of HOPE's mission.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer activities which require your talents!

Foster parent - Explore your nurturing side by providing a foster home for a homeless or orphaned animal. Currently we are only able to foster cats, but if there are individuals out there who are able and willing to foster dogs, please contact us!

Adoption Counselor - Are you good with people? Do you enjoy being a matchmaker? If so, you can assist in coordinating adoptions with families looking to adopt a new pet.

Board or Committee Membership - Use your leadership skills to provide guidance on (or/to) our board of directors.

Fund raising - Creativity and organizational skills are needed to plan events and activities that will help raise needed funds.

Newsletter - If you are a good communicator and enjoy doing layout and graphic design, maybe you would like to work on the newsletter.

Sponsor an Animal

You can also sponsor an animal featured on our website. Your sponsorship of $30 will help provide the medical costs of bringing a cat to good health. Sponsorship of $50 will help cover the medical costs of bringing a dog to health.

Spread the Word

Tell your friends and coworkers! Tell the person in front of you at the grocery store! Tell everyone! It is up to all of us to get the word out about HOPE so that we can provide good loving homes for our needy friends. If you know anyone who is looking for a new pet, try to convince them to adopt an animal in need of a good home.

As an all-foster non-profit organization, we always have items on our wish list. Please look to see if there is anything you would like to donate. We'll be sure to put it to good use!

Order Animal Friendly License Plates

Texas has instituted a program issuing Animal Friendly license plates. If it is successful, the profits for this program will be given to low-cost spay and neuter clinics.Your help is needed to ensure that this program is a success. Please consider supporting this very worthy cause. Without such clinics, the number of dogs and cats that would not be altered would increase drastically!

 

Buy Merchandise Benefiting HOPE

HOPE T-shirts and nightshirts are available for purchase at all of our adoption sessions.

HOPE has created an Amazon store filled with merchandise to help volunteers, adopters and members of the public enjoy their pets to the fullest, overcome training challenges and understand pet behavior. Each purchase through the store or Amazon links on our site benefit HOPE through a small donation from Amazon.com. See our shopping page for some shopping resources and useful links.
